Room smelt bad like wet mould bathroom sink was dirty. Tv was very out dated and I had to tune it myself to find a channel to watch. When my room was attended to the bed was made however dirty spoons cups and glasses were not replaced or cleaned.

Really good price. I came during Chinese new year and it wasn’t possible to get anything at that rate. The room was well appointed and had some bars on the window, which may have made you feel like it was unsafe. I didn’t mind it, but it had carpet on the floor and my husband felt the need to move around with flip-flops. Again when you see the price they charged I felt it was a perfectly fine room.

We stayed here for 2 nights during our trip to Sydney. The check in was smooth & the room was pretty spacious equipped with a large fridge & microwave. The place is close to all amenities & about half hour drive to the city. Dont think there are any elevators which was not an issue for us but could be for people with mobility concerns. Overall, a comfortable stay.

Check in was relatively speedy considering there were 4 people in queue with one person serving. Took about 7-10 minutes to complete this process. As it was check in time and generally the busiest, would have been nice to see more than one person serving.

The foyer seemed clean and there was a bar to the left of check in. Not sure if it is opened regularly as there was also a drinks fridge operating from 8am to 10pm. Unusual to see that in a true 4 star hotel.

The layout is what I would consider motel style however as you need to pass through a secure door to gain access to each block it has the extra layer of security.

Appreciate it ticks the basic 4 star requirements however would not consider this a 4 star hotel. A 3 star seems more appropriate.

On entering the secure door for the block you immediately notice the cheap repairs and how aged the building is. There is a fresh smell on entering however this quickly leaves you as a stale smell starts to take over.

The room was clean on entering. After walking around barefoot for an hour however the soles of my feet were getting a black layer and there were sticky parts and the very clearly aged carpets.

The fridge looked like it was from the 80's. Surprised it still worked. I wanted to check the brand however I could not find a sticker or a plastic name plate anywhere. If the fridge outlasted these items clearly was top quality back then, the white exterior was now a dark cream colour.

Value however? 5/5!

We checked in on 1/11/25 and checked out on 3/11/25.

It was a terrible experience with staff and the room. Lady at reception was very abrupt when we asked for 2 spare pillows as there was no extra pillows or blankets provided in the room like what we normally experience with other hotels. The 2 actual pillows in the room was paper thin reason why we wanted extra pillows for better neck support. The lady just told us off that there was none available and we should have requested upon our booking. Really, I mean who knew what they had in the room. It wasn't a peak busy period like Easter or Christmas to say they were fully booked just for 2 extra pillows or was it a big deal in washing pillow cases.

The room walls are not noise proof as we were awoken at 1.30am by the loud music from the next room. All I did was bang the wall behind my bedhead and the music was immediately off.

The carpets are so worn out and smells really bad and worse upon entering the room from a night out.

The aircon is so noisy directly facing your bed with cold air directly hitting your body. Aircon looked so old and dirty dust was so transparent that we didn't feel like using.

They only provided us with one key card. We went back to the reception and asked another key card after checking the room with such a terrible smell so we could leave the aircon on when going out.

I can keep going on with so many defects in the room but this stay is not worth my time. Read other reviews prior to booking.

Water was leaking from the exhaust fan in the bathroom. Property is not maintained at all. They moved us. There was no lock in the bathroom in the new room. The A/C stopped working. We were there with family and it was so much of inconvenience. I was just tired to move again with bags and kids. Pool was gross. Housekeeping were nice.

Very disappointed with the pool being dirty and my son not being able to swim as there was chairs in the pool, rubbish in the pool. The beds felt like you were sleeping on the floor. The Foxtel was disconnected. Sadly, we had to leave early due to all this and was very inconvenient and disappointing.

Property had a convrnient parking. However, certain conditions about thd property were not right, such as found dead cockroache in a bed room. The toilet door was hanging and didn’t have proper fitting to slide properly. In fact, even after closing the door, it was partially open. Also felt obnoxious smell in the rooms and the toilet.

Nice property, we booked a 3 bed town house.
Little unusual smell upon entrance but was good when ventilated properly.
Rooms were spacious and clean, bath room door was slightly off the rail, so sliding was a bit issue but worked. Few stains on the main bed room comforter, little attention to further cleanliness could make it a great place. Over all it was good, I stayed with family and young kids, really enjoyed.

Got a king bed room and it was two singles pushed together and beds are on wheels so all night the beds were separated and fell inbetween. The room has a mouldy horrible smell. Only 3 pillows and so uncomfortable. Extremely disgusting wouldn’t recommend. AVOID

Pros: The staff were lovely at this hotel! The beds were comfortable. Aircon/heating worked very well.
Cons: There were a few repairs needed in our room that seem to have been waiting a while, eg. door handle to the bathroom came off and the shower hose was leaking. General cleaning and maintenance were lacking. When we arrived the floors needed sweeping and there were a few odd things like a clothes hanger jammed into the aircon unit, the reading lamps needed bulbs replaced or wiring fixed. There were a lot of tiny ants in the bathroom, when we let the reception know they sent someone to get rid of them, they started reappearing again at the end of our stay. The windows rattled at night with the aircon units and heating tanks outside, and we were also next to the laundry, but I could tune it out after the first couple of nights so slept ok 👍
Hotel reception were given a list so that they were aware of the needed repairs ☺️
TLDR: stay is convenient and staff are nice, but hotel is poorly maintained and needs repairs.

Hunts Hotel Liverpool offered a central location that was convenient for our needs.

The customer service was excellent, and we were pleasantly surprised when our young family was upgraded to a family room — a thoughtful gesture we really appreciated.

The pool looked inviting, adding to the overall appeal.

The accommodation was tidy, though it would benefit from a deeper clean and some updates to the furniture. The carpets in particular felt like they needed a thorough steam clean.

While it was nice to have a washing machine in the room, it was disappointing that it wasn’t connected to water.

Overall, we were grateful for the upgrade and found our stay comfortable, though some improvements could enhance the experience further.

Good overnight stop on the outskirts of Sydney and significantly cheaper/better value for a family of 5 than anywhere else I could find. Kids were happy with the room and everyone had an actual bed with plenty of space to move around the room. Place was clean and tidy and fridge/freezer was a great size. Didn't use any of the other facilities. Would stay here again.

We had a terrible experience noisy air conditioning was unable to sleep all night, air conditioner cranking all night and dripping water on the baby cot and carpet, one of them not working at all, cockroach infestation, couch was filled with bricks as a support injured my shoulder and back when laying on the sofa, washrooms were smelly, I am going to report to authorities how can they let this hotel run in such a bad condition. The Airconditioning have never been serviced were full of dust and mould, extremely disappointed. Can someone help me where I can report specially the pest infestations. Someone enter in our room as well at 9am before our checkout time at 10am.

Great stay for the price! The lovely lady in charge of cleaning the units was run off her feet with half her staff not turning up yet she got all the rooms done and cleaned very well! We had no working tv the whole time we stayed and the maintenance person was away so it couldn’t be fixed! Overall it was cheap and convenient for where we needed to be.

The three bedroom townhouse was okay, however blinds and toilet exhaust fans were dirty. TV downstairs did not work along with one air-conditioner in one of the upstairs room was struggling in summer heat. They did provide timely housekeeping service, cheapest property I could find, so cannot complain :)
With shopping centre nearby, there is easy access for grocery as well as decent glenfield station with commuter carpark nearby.

We had a wonderful stay. The reception staff were so accommodating, kind and friendly as we quickly realised we needed a bigger room with a kitchen sink to be able to wash our babies bottles. Within 2 minutes we were given another room for a small extra nightly fee. They also offered to arrange a cot for us, but we already had our porta cot. The location was great and easily accessible to shops and restaurants (most a short driving distance). The room was very clean, a little bit old but for the price we paid, we cant complain, as it was less than half of the price in the surrounding areas and throughout Sydney. Will definitely be staying there again. Kids were haply as the pool opened at 7am and closed a 9pm so they enjoyed that as well. Thanks Hunts Hotel, see you again soon.

Great location for what we needed and staff were amazing. However, the whole floor smelt of cigarette smoke. It was terrible, especially as we had our children with us. The whole building was non smoking and there were warnings against this, so nothing the hotel could control. Besides that, room was comfortable. Just difficult to enjoy with the smell of smoke the whole stay.

Hunts is pretty dated. In the past rooms were clean. This time we found abandoned child’s toys under the table and mould in the shower.
Cars were reversing up to the sliding door at all hours. The rooms are a rabbit warren it took us a while to find the room.

Enjoyed our stay. Rooms were clean and spacious. The only downside was that the PowerPoints were not always easily accessible eg I had to move bed out to plug in my cpap machine and there wasn’t a power point above bench for jug.
The service was friendly and I would definitely consider staying again.

First of all after driving for hours to get to the motel my husband and i wanted coffee. We found the jug ok but the only powerpoint to plug it into was down beside the beds. The air conditioner didnt work properly, it was full of dust. Bathroom mirror was dirty. As soon as the shower was turned on the screens were instantly full of limescale. No foam underlay on the ironing board. Very limited channels on the tv. Not great for kids. Stairway and hallway were both dirty. There is a beautiful water fountain just outside the building however it was so dirty it was beyond green and almost black! How the fish are still alive i have no idea !
The room was way overpriced for what i got. Would not recommend. Very dissapointing.

Disappointed this stay. Stayed two nights in an apartment with a 9 mth old baby. Ants crawling everywhere in kitchen, lounge area. Woke up in one bedroom with ants on my face. Food crumbs on floor, in corners and under lounge. Kitchen sink had big blobs of fungus growing in around plug area. Second day woke up to no hot water. Called reception to be told it’s off until 11.30am. No notice. Called again early evening no answer so left message to say we still had no hot water. No reply before we checked out. Horrible uncomfortable stay this time.

We found hunts hotel online and booked the Executive Studio.
Check in was easy. The foyer area was lovely and had a pleasant fragrant smell.
Directions to the room were a little confusing but we found it. The entry way and hallway smelled a little of cigarette smoke. But the room itself was clean and tidy. We found that all staff were friendly and approachable. When we needed fresh towels etc they were always eager to assist. We also needed maintenance (nothing serious) and they were very responsive. More signage to help understand the laundry washers and dryers (ie which section to place soap, how long the loads take) would be helpful but google helped with some things.
Overall our stay was very enjoyable and we would book with Hunts Hotel again.
