Overall, the experience was very unpleasant. Our room was not clean and had a strong odor. We even bought air freshener spray, but it didn’t help. The refrigerator was also filthy. The hot tub was also out of service, and staff told us the necessary part was on the way, but it never arrived. The hot tub was the main reason I chose this hotel.

After learning it wasn’t working, I asked if our room at least included the large jet bathtub, and I was told that it did. However, when we got to the room, it did not. I went back to the front desk to see if we could switch rooms, and I was even willing to pay the additional charge, but they said no rooms with the large bathtub were available.

In addition, our room appeared to be handicap accessible, as there was a shower chair in the bathroom. The window coverings were also an issue — while the sheer curtains closed completely, the solid curtains only covered half of each side, leaving the center of the window exposed.

Overall, the stay was disappointing and did not meet expectations.

This place was filthy. I don't think they own a vacuum cleaner, or maybe it's broken or something because there were Cheerios, bits of plastic, dried mud clumps and I don't even want to know what the white stuff was in the carpets. The walls had smears, there was tape on the ceiling, and the dust on the lamps and towel shelves was thick enough to carve. The toilet paper dispenser doesn't fit a whole roll of toilet paper; you have to take it off the core to get it to actually roll. The shampoo dispenser was empty. If you want to be clean, skip this hotel.

Parking was 100 Staff were 100 and Staff was super helpful only bad part was the owners negligence of their staff and property staff was over worked out manned and had nothing in their favor pool was dirty and ill managed and hot tub also cold had to get the warmers put on mold everywhere no working ventilation in bathroom the air conditioning was all molded up you could smell it through out the property there was even a guest who worked for the NY building inspectors who had threatened to get the property shut down what’s crazy is that they make money off of all the friends and Family of USMC and all other Military in the Area and they don’t take care of their property again staff was very good and helpful the people to Blame are the Property owners or management team staff can only work with what they got

The beds were comfortable. Room overall was clean but there was a lot of trash and candy wrappers behind the nightstand on the floor (saw this when we moved the nightstand to plug something in) and there was some trash on the floor behind the toilet.
We went to use the hot tub and the water was not hot. We reported and was told maintenance would fix it but they were not there. Also, reported lose faucet on bathroom sink after day 1 of our 4 night stay and was told again maintenance would fix it and they never did.
There is a sign on the mirror that say no room service unless requested however for long stays the room would be serviced after night 3. On the morning after night 3 we told the front desk we only needed clean towels and trash to be emptied. She told us we would need to bring the towels to the desk to be exchanged for clean ones. We are not high maintenance but it seemed like every time we told the front desk about something, nobody offered to help. The only friendly person we really met was the attendant the night we checked in and the gentlemen that tended the breakfast area in the mornings.
Also, one of the sprinklers in the ceiling must have had an opening in the ceiling around it and the opening was filled with toilet paper that was hanging down.
Not sure we will stay at this property for future visits.

The room was clean, but the elevator was broken full the entire stay and I had to carry my luggage to the third floor was hard to do with my knee injuries. I wouldn’t have stayed there if I had known the elevator was broken. The staff made no effort to assist.

I really enjoyed my stay because of how friendly staff was! The walls were thin between rooms and it was difficult to get to parking, especially when guests checking in blocked the way to the lot. Other than that I feel this was a great place for families to stay that is affordable and conveniently located near the MCRD at Parris Island.

The hotel is dated, don’t clean rooms unless you request it. Only one USB port so you have to bring a brick. I had to get new keys because they kept erasing . They offer free breakfast but most guest are there for the Marine graduations have to leave @ 5am but breakfast starts @ 6:30.

No one was at front desk when we arrived so I had to call the front desk and I was told he was in the bathroom. I stood at the desk for 10 minutes before calling the Hotel and was listening to these people chat away in the back before calling on the phone to get someone to come out to greet me and to try and check in early and then he wasn't very friendly about anything
Bathroom in room was dirty and looks like mold is growing around the tub. A bug that looked like a roach to me on the bathroom floor too
Sheets were dirty and had to be change - Hairs on them and gritty like sand plus some kind of bug and they made us come to the desk to grab the new bedding

The property was close to Parris Island for military graduation. Bed was ok, needs new mattress. Bathroom left a little to be desired - could use caulk around tub, clean up paint spots on the floor. Couldn't take shower, the tub didn't drain, the water was ice cold - no hot water... the water in sink faucet was fine. The staff was friendly enough, but I really didn't interact with them that much.

We have stayed at this hotel a few times over the last 8 years. It used to be very nice and good quality for the money but has gone downhill a ton Hotel was humid in hallways, tons of trash. The first room we were put in the tub was falling apart and had German cockroaches in it. We switched to a new room that was a bit better but the mattresses and pillows were not great. I don’t typically write reviews but there are better cleaner hotel options in the area in the same price range.

Building needs remodeling, ceilings are thin, hear children running around. There wasn't a luggage rack, was told they got rid of them because guests were breaking them. Breakfast was eatable, no favor. Front desk staff was very accommodating.

The first lady I talked too was quite rude when i came in early to ask what the earliest check in time was....she said earliest is 130 to check then like she had no desire to be there or deal with patrons. Arrived back at 150 pm and was met with the same rudeness...was tild there was a 150 deposit which i didnt see first so i said can u show me where it states that....that was a big problem to the point where after 5 minutes of asking to see and her finally slamming the computer screen on the counter i asked if she was having a bad day and straight up said she was being a snob and for that we had to wait till 3 no worries thats fine....roo. was 130 deposit 150....no baseboards in room. Tub was repaired but looked dirty bc of the chips and repairs. Blowdryer was broken as well. But the staff after 3 through the stay was great and helpful...

This hotel is in pretty rough condition. Lots of things are in disrepair. There was a hole in our ceiling where the fire alarm is installed. The mattresses were very rough and sank into the middle. Staff were friendly and helpful but the place is in rough shape.

The check in was very easy, the lady was pretty rude. The first night later shift lady and man were phenomenal. Very friendly and helpful. The only complaint I have is that I had to take my own garbage and remove it from the room, as well as had to hunt down the housekeepers to be able to get additional towels. We were there from Tuesday until checkout Saturday and not once did anyone come freshen up the towels or remove the trash. For sure needed a good cleaning as under the beds had garbage as well and it hadn’t been vacuumed. The bathroom door was also damaged, still worked but for sure needs a little bit of tlc

There are renovations being done, so I hope this property improves. Our room had a strong smell that was a combination of jet fuel and another odor I could not identify. The tub had stains and the grouting was cracked and missing. The mattresses weren’t too bad, but the pillows were like sleeping on rocks. Some halls sneaked odd, but others were fine (we had family staying in multiple floors). The selection of items in the little store are very limited.

The location was perfect for the Marine Bootcamp graduation! It only took approximately 10 minutes to get to MCRD. There were plenty of places to eat nearby. The breakfast was good the day we were there to eat at 6:30 a.m. It was quiet and peaceful. The staff were friendly and helpful.

It was a bed to sleep in. There was a spot on the wall for a smoke detector but it was removed. Shower curtain rod barley hanging on so both ends of the shower curtain kept sliding to the middle openning on both ends. The couch had mold on the middle cushion due to the fact that the room and the whole floor was very humid.
