The Cuthbert House is a rare find. It’s a beautiful inn with a historical feel, much like the area. The staff is friendly. The owners go above and beyond to make you feel at home. They also have a happy hour with appetizers and even champagne if requested. The breakfast was delicious as well. You will not go wrong staying at the Cuthbert House.

The most beautiful place in Beaufort!

The most beautiful place to stay in the lowcountry! The whole building is absolutely beautiful. Loved getting a tour so you know where everything is. Love how they have a social hour. The owners were out socializing with guests and it just made us feel so special. Our bed was so comfortable and the water pressure in the shower was top notch. Love how there’s free parking, complimentary drinks/snacks, turn down service and friendly staff. We cannot wait to be back in Beaufort so we can stay at the Cuthbert House again!

We stayed at Cuthbert Inn as a home base for our family's marine graduation at Parris Island (a few miles across the bridge). The Inn is incredible with a killer porch view, snacks and cocktail hour, lovely back patio under Spanish Moss tree and a block from downtown Beaufort. But the best part of our experience was the personal attention! We got in very late and had snacks and drinks in our room (after texting us to check!). We had to leave prior to breakfast hour service and they packed our breakfast to go. Quiet, restful and top notch accommodations. We have stayed at some of the other waterfront mansions that is a lovely part of a Beaufort visit .... but this was by far our best and most exceptional stay! Book it!

This is a newly renovated gorgeous BNB. The breakfast and happy hour was spectacular and the night time treat was super yummy. They even had snacks and drinks for us anytime we wanted. We took advantage of the free bike rentals and could walk to restaurants and locals shops. The staff is super friendly. We had a great time. I highly recommend staying here.

The house is very nice- it reminded me a little bit of the inside of the Biltmore on a much smaller scale. The breakfast was like a fancy little tea party I loved it! Ms Karen was my favorite she was so genuinely nice - she suggested we check out Cypress Wetlands and oh my goodness what a beautiful sight of birds and nature! I hope to return to Beaufort one day soon!

We loved visiting beautiful Beaufort again and the Cuthbert House exceeded expectations. Our suite very spacious, clean, and well appointed with a very comfy bed. The staff was attentive and welcoming and we really enjoyed a glass of wine on the front porch with water view and lovely breeze. Breakfast was outstanding and served beautifully. The location really stands out in the historic downtown section - so convenient for restaurants and shops. A great stay. Will enjoy coming again.

Can't wait to visit again!

The entire staff was amazing. It is conveniently located on the water near the main street downtown. You can easily walk to numerous shops and restaurants. There is secure parking off the street where you can leave your car while you tour downtown. The rooms are spacious and clean. The breakfast is wonderful! We will definitely visit The Cuthbert House again in the future.

What a wonderful place for a romantic getaway! The house was gorgeous, the staff was extremely friendly and helpful and it was the best vacation we've ever had. We will be going back because our stay was amazing. The Inn is within walking distance to everything and breakfast was delicious. Every evening they have a social hour with light bites and drinks and there is always a sweet treat available.

Cuthbert House Inn is so close to downtown, is part of the historic district, and has a gorgeous harbor view. A short walk to The Point area presents you with a plethora of magnificent mansions to enjoy. Convenient to Hunting Island for hikes, the lighthouse climb, and the sand and surf. The innkeepers and staff are wonderful! Highly recommend staying at Cuthbert House Inn and Beaufort SC!

The Cuthbert House offers a history lesson for those visiting the area of Beaufort. Being able to step back in time and stand where Civil War soldiers once walked, WOW! Many historical cemetery's are within walking distance for an extra layer of history lesson and the view from the Inn is unparalleled. We will be back for sure!

We thoroughly enjoyed our too brief stay at the Cuthbert House. Our hosts were so kind, helpful and engaging. We enjoyed the evening cocktail hour that they hosted for the guests and we were also blown away by the beautiful breakfast served in the observatory. This was my first bed and breakfast experience and I came away wanting to come back soon!The room was large and quiet with a great balcony and garden. Beaufort is a beautiful destination in and of itself. If you are visiting Savannah,I suggest taking a night to stay at the Cuthbert House and explore Beaufort. It is less than an hour from Savannah. You will not be disappointed!

The Cuthbert House Inn is in a great location. With a view over looking the bay, it is a 3 minute walk to town. The Inn is very clean and the rooms are comfortable with all the amenities one needs. Morning breakfasts are something you don't want to miss. They are delicious!

with all it's shops and restaurants. We stay at many B&B's
but this one was extra special because of the gracious owners,Ed & Connie and their staff. They live on site and joined us each evening for Cocktails and appetizers in the Living Room. They make a point of speaking to each guest getting to know them and helping to make their Beaufort experience special. Breakfast was delightful and a sit on the front porch with a view of the water across the street memorable. It's obvious that Ed & Connie love this historic home and sharing it with all who chose to stay here.

Outstanding Property in Beaufort

Decided to book a two night stay at the Cuthbert House for some R&R before a family gathering in Hilton Head. The inn was delightful...warm, welcoming staff, bright and cheerful room with amazing shower, delicious breakfasts. Connie and Ed were the most gracious hosts ever. Joined guests for nightly cocktail hour which was very tastefully done. Nice assortment of beverages and treats and lively conversations. Have stayed at other upscale Inns in Beaufort, but this was our favorite by far. Looking forward to another stop in Beaufort next year!

Greatly enjoyed talking with the Owners over a glass of wine in the evening. Stately old home houses a unique history of guests and others who quartered there in a century past. We returned for our anniversary, booked the same suite, but.... VERY DISAPPOINTED. Found a bathing suit bottom in a drawer, post on bed was broken off, only 2 bottles of water given for entire stay. Was allowed pass for Hunting Island, but warned/threatened about return or fee of $75. Now why would I keep it if I live in Florida? New owner, Ed hospitable, wife Connie - NOT! Not up to the standards I would have expected from our first stay, and WILL NOT go back.
