Hotel was in good shape, staff was friendly and knowledgeable, Info says there is a pool, there is one but it is empty and not serviceable. We were looking for a hotel with a pool😡 Breakfast is very lacking, nothing like expected. Dry cereal and frozen sausage biscuits. It worked but wasn’t what was expected.

sad it has not been kept up. it is closet to Parris Island and they have graduation weekly, so this place gets many visitors just for that reason.

I was somewhat prepared for less-than-quality accommodations but the motel was where I needed it to be on short notice so I braved it. In no particular order: no stopper for tub, no working lights in sink area, holes in ceiling tiles (one \"filled\" with toilet paper), recessed light hanging out of ceiling, rusted ceiling tile retainers, desk table so rickety I was afraid to use it with my labtop, and more. The bed linens did seem clean. The laminate flooring allowed the floor to seem clean. Air conditioner worked. TV had no instructions but I figured it out. I requested a ground floor room as I needed to bring my bicycle in. Unfortunately the room I was given had reserved handicap and veteran parking spots in front of it so I had to park across the lot not in front of my room..but didn't have to carry it up stairs. Where I parked I encountered the homeless people I had read about in reviews. They hang out at/on the motel's picnic tables. If I could have parked in front of my room, it would not be a concern but as I had to load and unload my bike on my car morning and night, it was. The staff was very nice.

The check-in was seamless and the hotel accommodations were good. We were able to do an early check-in as well. However the first room we were given was not suitable for us because it smelled of smoke, but I was able to get our room changed and it smelled better. Although the floor was dirty and needed mopping, we had returned after the cleaning staff was gone, so I dealt with it. Overall, the stay was good and the beds were clean. I and my husband slept well. Thanks for accommodating us.

This was are second time we stayed here. We stayed because our first stay the room was clean and had no problems with housekeeping. But this time around the room was clean, but the bathroom had a big roach. Then I saw another thing one one the sink. The shower looked kinda clean. The complementary hair and body soap were dirty. Didn't cross my mind to use anyway. I believe we would not stay again.

Every single photo of his property is nothing more than a bait/switch. The only good part of the room was hot water. The rooms were old, worn and dirty. You could hear neighbors laughing and every child in the complex running around, nothing against kids, but when it is time for us to sleep, I do not want to hear everyone else. Security??? when the door was closed you could see light from outside on 3 sides of the door jam. Continental breakfast consisted of old fruit and sugar cereal. BUT, the coffee was excellent. The bedding... sheets were clean, but the blankets were disgusting. Did not appreciate the cigarette burns in the toilet seat cover. Never again. But if all you want is 6 miles from the base and the feeling of living just above homelessness, this is the place for you. And the photo of the boat near a dock, not even close to where this hell-hole was located.

There was a dirty hand print in the shower, toilet looked as if it had been sat on so much that it has permanent dirt prints on it. The nastiest place I’ve ever stayed!! Those pictures are not what it looks like in person. I got a room and it smelled like cigarettes and dirty sheets with yellow stains. When asked to change room the receptionist was bothered. She changed my room and it was worseeee!! The only thing that was great was customer service. Everything thing else was bad. Dirty room ,bed sheets . It had flies ,roaches , bed bugs AND BED SHEETS STAINED. The property did NOT look like it is in the same condition as shown in in the photos. The room next to me had many people yelling and being loud all night. The next room (adjoining) was smoking weed when I check in, my room stunk. The rap music started playing around 10 pm. The yelling and screaming continued until about 2 am. No I didn’t complain because I was fearful they would know who complained. The condition of the property was awful. Room was dirty, floors were chipped up. Drywall was roughly patched and painted. Tub and shower was caulked with nasty areas. Pool closed for whole season. My room 119 was right by the dumpster with the doors swung wide open so all the trash is falling out on to the floor. Just gross.

Great service at the front desk and very clean room! Grab and go breakfast was falsely advertised on the website. The breakfast area wasn’t clean and the choices weren’t edible. The pool wasn’t working but we didn’t find that out until we got there. No refund or accommodations were made from the hotel for that error. If you just need a place to sleep then this is your spot. We were traveling with family and a special needs child.

Absolutely Horrible Experience – Avoid at All Costs!
This was by far the worst hotel experience I’ve ever had. The room was filthy, smelled awful, and looked nothing like the photos. Even worse, there were bed bugs—I woke up covered in bites. The only decent thing about this place was the staff, who were actually helpful, but that doesn’t make up for the nightmare of staying here. I’ve attached pictures so you can see for yourself. I wouldn’t stay here again if it were free. Do yourself a favor and book somewhere else.

I came down for my sons marine graduation and this was close so we decided to stay for 5 nights. It was really dirty. The bath water was yellow, the walls were splattered with i assume coffee stains, they decided our toilet needed to be fixed half way through our stay and left the parts they took out in the bathroom. They took our dirty linen but never brought new towels. The windowsill and lampshades were covered in dirt and bugs. The only positives were that it was quiet and the coffee was ok.

Dirty and dangerous place no service, just hostile

There was no service if anything just angry staff and sarcastic. Disgusting, dirty, horrible place that can care less about hospitality in any form. I mean just being polite would have been nice. From the moment I checked in I was told there was no bathroom, I am an elder Vet and quite disturbed that this was concidered exceptable. Broken floors, no hot water, no service, when requesting for a clean towel told they dont offer them everyday, keep in mind with diabetes and neuropathy cleanliness is important, but so was having a first floor as I can bo longer do stairs without help. I was told this request a head of time now during check in could not be honored, well told no! The pool dirty, closed eyesore, benches bent broken, no where to safely sit outside. Parking lot had car on jacks unsafe and a couple abandoned cars filled with trash and again gross, nothing like advertized. I request my money back Im not sure how to handle this. Also, continental breakfast was another reason I chose this place but they didnt even offer this, they had nothing infact that is advertized. For example clean towels, a fridge that doesn't fall everytime you open it, lights that actually light up the room would have been a great start. Overall this place needs new owners that will hire staff that have the capacity to help customers, that are not rude and sarcastic to the elderly. They did not take trash nor have a trash bin to throw it away if you wanted to. Risky place to stay don't bother.

I try to give everyone a fair shake and the benefit of the doubt, but with that said, this place was the epitome of the term “dump”. It starts with the staff…dirty, impolite, lack for words. Then there was the free “breakfast”….mini powdered donuts and cold cereal….that was it!! No coffee, no bowls for the cereal and no staff at the desk for help locating bowls and utensils.
As for the room….bed was comfortable, and clean. That is the good news. The sink in the bathroom was backed up, no toilet paper (had to buy my own roll), and the room had a deep stench of mildew.
I beared with it all for a few nights knowing I was out all day and only needed a bed to sleep in and a shower.

Not all Super 8’s are created equal, however this one will make me think twice about any Super 8 again!!
