Nice location and secure. The room met our expectations. While it was obvious that staff existed, they were not actually seen. We checked in and out via a kiosk, which offered no problem.

The room was in excellent condition. A chair was obviously old, dingy, and had the look that a cat had used it. It was a convenient pet-friendly environment (no issues for our dog!). The in-room AC unit was very noisy, but worked great!

Breakfast was a disappointment; many items were cold. The waffle maker was not functioning. Very basic items ... not a big deal.

We were pleased overall and will consider staying there again!

Hotel had a moldy and musky odor. The room I stayed in had roaches and mold. The lighting in the room was very dim. I did not see the mold until I used the flashlight on my cellphone. I woke up next morning sick from breathing in the mold. I requested a refund from the live person on the kiosk. They said I need to go through Expedia. I have been trying to get in contact with Expedia. Expedia has been ghosting me. Poor customer service with Expedia. I am also trying to get my security deposit back of $50 from hotel. Hotel is being very disrespectful when contacting them via phone. I have emailed the hotel and they are not responding to me.

The painting in our room looked like it was done by a toddler. There were paint spots on the floor and doors. The ceiling had spots. The mirrors are all disintegrating. The shades on all the lamps and lights have spots or stains around the top and bottom rims. The toilet didn't have a cover. There was a centipede and spider on the bathroom floor. The furniture was banged up. The outside entrance on side of building had trash and cigarette butts everywhere. There is no live person in the lobby, just a kiosk. We needed a place to stay for the night because of work being done on our home. The hotel needs to do a lot of work before I would even consider another stay.

This is probably the worst place we’ve ever stayed, broken glass doors left shattered play bullet holes. The pool was closed not as advertised. There is no staff on premises. The breakfast was stale bagels in the waffle maker was not in service very disappointed zero out of 10.

Parking was easy. Never seen anyone one from the staff. Breakfast set was very nice. The bathroom wall needed repainting. You can tell they tried to remodel the e rooms for hired a 3-party company to do the job. It was easy to check in and check out. It was close to a couple stores and restaurants for the convivence.

Other than a kiosk in the lobby operated by a staff member remotely, I never saw a single staff member during my stay. Amenities did not seem to exist. I was not on site during the \"breakfast hours\" either day of my stay, but the lobby did not even serve coffee before or after the designated breakfast times. The coffee packs in the room were so old and stale the coffee was hard to drink. The steps going up to the 2nd floor were very rickety and I would encourage management to make repairs before someone falls after stepping on a loose stair board, as I almost did multiple times.

When we got there was no one at the front desk, just a person at a kiosk that was very hard to understand. I booked a king room and was given a double queen. When I questioned this the mystery man hiding behind the screen more or less told me the king wasn’t available and to pound salt. Our family checked in the next day and magically one was available and they got it. Going to the room when walking up the center steps, I almost fell. One of the steps was loose and tipped forward ,causing a very unsafe condition. When I got to the room the dead bolt didn’t work and you could smell someone was smoking pot in there before we stayed. One of the interior doors didn’t lock very well but I got it to work. I would have left but the area was booked up for graduation and there wasn’t any available. The morning breakfast consisted of burnt eggs and dried up sausage with a few muffins. There would have been pancakes but that machine was broken. Please do not stay here if your safety or customer service matters to you.

the room was fine. the grounds were covered in ant piles. my kid stepped in a bunch. there was no staff on premises for the front desk making simple tasks way harder than need be. everything was done through a robot and was very inconvenient. i will never be back.

The room was clean and had proper towels and toiletries.

Hallways reeked of Marijuana smell. There was cigarette smell even if there was the other smell was very pungent.

The breakfast was limited had no half/half creamer just flavored one. Orange juice was out. And lacked variety. No muffins, bananas or much that would be satisfying.

Seen no staff vs they had a kiosk in lobby for check in. Very impersonal.

Hot water was limited and took a long time to get warm. Even then wasn't hot enough for showering.

Did see the cleaning lady's who were very nice and accommodating making sure you had towels and toiletries.

Overall the place is pretty run down. It was somewhat clean for what the building is but the lamp shade had mold or some sort of black spots on it and the room smelled faintly of cigarettes even tho it was a non smoking room. No coffee in the morning for the free breakfast and very limited options available. Also our room keys stopped working twice and had to get them replaced.

I don't even know for sure if the computer screen person was actually on property. I didn't like it at all. Just be aware. It was a very cold experience.

Absolutely disgusting! No one was managing the property in person. The person on ten kiosk was friendly and offered me “the best room available.” There was a bed bug spotted after my daughter laid down in the bed. We ran out of the room less than an hour after our late arrival. We were told we could get another room a few rooms down from our first room. I demanded a refund so we could find a cleaner and safer place to stay. The parking lot was dark and there was a group of men straggling outside. It seemed like a very sketchy establishment where families did not belong. I was issued a refund thankfully but I discourage anyone from staying here when going to graduation at the MCRD.

The service overall was not good would have preferred to have an actual person to talk to when checking in instead of a kiosk. The rooms were a little dirty and the area around the hotel. The view in the back looked so much better than it did in person it honestly looked scary in person. The bathroom in the lobby was really dirty and had to tell someone about it because it wasn’t really usable.

Pool was closed early on the 1st of October when online it said they closed on the 10th. The rooms were disgusting. My room along with others were reportedly not even attempted to clean. Stains and hair under bedsheets. Moldy chunks of multiple different foods around each bed. Multiple cockroaches that had a layer of dust on them scattered around the room. Chair was stained black with crumbs on seat (might as well throw that out, no use keeping a furniture item that is that gross). Walking into this building there was a tall waindow that was shattered top to bottom. Management didnt seem to care about any of this along with the complaints of other guests. Heads up to anyone who is going to support their military recruits, DO NOT COME HERE.

Likes: convenient as far location and prices, had hot running water, staff were nice, others staying were nice, like the kiosk idea for safety reasons (machine used for checking in and out)...this could be made a very nice hotel

Dislikes: nobody could log into your wifi because passwords didnt work, yall have roaches (i killed one and was a dead one in the drawer), the rooms smell SO bad therefore buy some freshners for your rooms and hallways, the chairs in rooms are very nasty stained up and have holes in them (BUY NEW ONES), pool was closed but that wasnt mentioned on the site, rooms look way cleaner and newer on website, your breakfast is HORRIBLE...bagels were hard, eggs werent cooked right, cereal was stale, but had good OJ, and the parking is horrible with work trucks there. They take up 2-3 spaces plus lot is small. Overall we made do but wouldnt pick this one to stay again. The roaches gotta go

It was a okay hotel. Nice pool. A convenient drive for us to get to our destination during the stay.
Hotel needs updated on small things such as paint, new floor, new doors. Our door had a gap but locked so it wasn’t that bad.
They kept charging my aunts card and not refunding it and also the day we had to leave my cousins car got hit but the guy told us the cameras didn’t work.. i suggest they get new cameras with so many people in and out.

My room was a little outdated and the bathroom could us a little remodeling but for the most part, those are the only negatives. I think that it's in a safe area. It was quiet at night. The continental breakfast was pretty good. My room was definitely very clean. I didn't see dirt in the corners or cobwebs. I will be the first to admit, this is not the place you bring your family for vacation, but for the solo traveler on a budget, it wasn't bad. I'd stay there again.

The fact that I booked an stay for three nights and I only stayed for two nights, and I did not get a refund on the spot. I had a virtual receptionist and did not offer the best attention. Only sugested that I get in touch with expedia to get a refund. Nothing is better than a face to face service.

The room was clean. Parking is adequate. The bed was saggy and uncomfortable - the box spring was old and no longer firm enough to hold up the mattress. It bulged and sagged in several places. The bathroom door would not close all the way. The sliding glass door did not lock. The stairs up to the 2nd floor outside are steep and unsafe. There is a wobbly step on the first flight on the right (if you're facing them from the office). The check-in process was VERY off-putting. There is no staff member there to check you in. Instead you have to use a kiosk that links to someone off-site (most likely overseas). So you speak thru a screen with someone through both a language barrier and a delay. The breakfast is okay, but there is no tea offered. Only coffee. I don't drink coffee, so that wasn't useful to me. The outside doors to the hallways do not lock, even though they have card readers. So they're open 24/7 and accessible by anyone off the street, which is not safe. There is no smoking in the rooms, which is great, but that means smokers would go sit on the only stairs that access the 2nd floor from the outside, so I would have to walk through a cloud of smoke to get to my room many times. None of this was a good value for the money.

-The fact that foreigners were running the hotel is a joke.
-The lobby looks like crap; all security doors were not secured.
-Some people were smoking weed in the back of the hotel.
-The room I reserved had insects on the bed, pillows cases and comforters had light brown stains.
-Walls have brown and black stains/spots. Paint on the walls are chipping everywhere.
-The sliding doors were not aligned, and it took me 12 minutes to secure it. The bolt was not fully secured. The peep hole was way above the door, (Made for anyone 5 foot 9 inches). This must change or lose business permanently.
-Whoever thought this is the way forward, is to be fired and thrown into a volcano.

-I will post this on other social sites.

Felt very unsafe with a slider door in the front of the hotel with NO safety bar & a sketchy lock. Breakfast was a disaster & very slim choices. The kiosk check in was ridiculous, especially when two workers walked thru the lobby while talking with someone on a video screen. Would recommend ppl NOT stay here.
