Wonderful stuff- Anna and the manager Natalia are amazing! They let you feel so welcomed since the first moment. The location is great. The rooms and the breakfast are excellent.

We throughly enjoyed our stay. This hotel is beautiful! We would definitely recommend it.
It has a lovely pool with a swim up bar and a great selection of sunbeds by the pool side. The breakfast food selection was brilliant and food lovely, although we did not have an evening meal here so cannot comment on that.
The room was a good size and the bed very comfortable! Bathroom was lovely with a big shower. It also had a nice sized balcony with a table and 2 chairs. All staff were friendly and welcoming. There is a spa that offers a range of treatments, but we did not have time to explore this. We would happily stay here again! Thank you all.

This was such a gorgeous hotel! I would love to give 5 stars, holding back 1 just because of pool timings being limited from 10-6pm, especially in a centrally located hotel with such a big nightlife, I would expect the amazing pool to be open more until like 10-11pmish.

Faros Hotel is one of the best hotels in Ayia Napa, very close to everything especially that 2 bus stations are located in front of the Hotel. Food is perfect and customers service is outstanding. I will surely book Faros Hotel every time I visit Ayia Napa. Thanks for the amazing service.

unfortunately the hotel is in the heart of city so its popular among young tourists that they are noisy. 2 times i asked from reception to deal with the next door room because there was a lot of noise with music and many guests. The reception solved my problem but i was really upset. Its such a nice hotel and they have to find a way to stop this and to be sure that it will be overall a quiet hotel

Amazing friendly, courteous and professional staff. From their security guard, cleaners, bar staff to the receptionists.
Food was fantastic.
Location was close to the beach
COVID-19 policies were thorough. Yana (receptionist) was simply the best. Secretly arranged a champagne for my birthday that was not part of the payment.

Amazing stay!

Just returned from a fabulous week at the Faros, gutted I didn’t get to stay longer.
The staff are wonderful, so friendly and helpful, a total credit to the hotel.
Garden room was huge and spotlessly clean, lovely to walk out directly to the pool every day. Didn't have a plug for the bathtub - not sure if I was meant to ask for one? - but the water was only tepid at best, and I like a cold shower, so all was good for me.
Great choice at breakfast, everything fresh and a huge variety. A la carte menu for lunch also a great selection and all beautifully prepared. Was on a breakfast only basis so can't comment on the buffet options for the HB/AI options.
Loved the outside bar - Andy is an absolute star! Special shout out to Christy too who brought beer to my sunbed every day, can't fault that sort of service :)
Can't imagine staying anywhere else - loved it!

Disappointing

First I want to say, the lady in the reception was very nice and really tried to help.
But, we received a room with a smell of painting, then they wanted to show us another room but we saw it was not clean so they showed us the 3rd room and there was a problem we rig the electricity... so we moved to other room and the bed was hard like a stone .. we waited so much for this vacation and so far it’s more like a nightmare

Every little thing that we ask they wanted money.. Or didn’t want to help.
Since the first day we let them know that we have late flight back home and we asked to stay in the room only 2 hours more... we was with 1 yo baby .. and they wanted us to pay for extra night!! They said that the “room was ordered to other family “ our room... no other room.. our room!! While the hotel is half none booked!! It was our third and last time in this hotel!!!

We were booked into the Faros Hotel. However as the builders were behind schedule we were relocated to Adams Beach Hotel. Adams Beach Hotel is very good but is but is not for us. It is in the wrong location for us and although the staff were accommodating and very friendly we would have preferred to stay at original hotel the FAROS

Ayia Napa is such an amazing place to visit and Faros Hotel is such an amazing hotel to stay in while doing your visit.
The hotel is near everything, so many restaurants, bars, Luna Park, the harbor... It's also has a perfect access to the bus that goes to Nissi Beach and WaterWorld WaterPark. Great staff, helpful and professional.

Overall, very good hotel. Rooms were comfortable, modern and clean with nice shower room and good air conditioning. We were located in the newer of the 2 buildings. Swimming pool, decent size with plenty of sunbeds.
The only thing I could really fault was the breakfast. The choice was ok, but I've stayed at a lot of hotels in Cyprus and it could have been a lot better. The hot food was lukewarm a lot of the time, which I know is difficult given that it is a buffet and the staff weren't particularly helpful. There was no one making fresh omelettes/pancakes etc that you get in lots of other hotels in Ayia Napa. Waited about 10 minutes for milk to be refreshed one day. It seemed messy and a little bit tired. Maybe being a bit picky as the rest of the hotel was very good. If they could improve the breakfast it would be hard to fault.

I really liked this hotel !
For me it is more than a 3 start hotel.
I was very welcomed. The staffs are friendly and helpful.
The rooms were cleaned properly on a daily basis.
I have not tried the lunch and dinner in this hotel. However, I have tried the breakfast and I can say it is good. There can be more food varieties.
The pool is very clean and it is big. I really enjoyed swimming there, although I prefer beach. The pool surroundings are clean and well maintained.
The hotel makes some events per week.

The thing I did not like is that you can easily hear in the room what is happening outside.

Hotel was close to the beach and in the Middle of a busy area. We had a ground floor room in front of the pool. Room was spacious but had a musty odor. Bathroom was good but almost no space around the sink for your stuff. WiFi wasn't worth first day but it was fixed by the second day. I didn't use any of the facilities honestly but the pool was big. I did notice two pairs of children's or men's boxers lying on the path and grass for at least 24 hours without being cleaned up and the fountain around the pool was pretty dirty. Overall it was a decent hotel but nothing amazing. The maintenance guy who came to fix our safe was very nice.

Great location

Lovely holiday at the Faros. Side view room but great for watching world go by. Shut the door and it was so quiet. Near all amenities beach,harbour and nightlife. Great service provided by the staff and nothing was too much trouble. The pool was so relaxing and always a sunbed available. Loads to do and we will definitely be returning one day.

Nice hotel, but little bit overpriced

Were there 4-14 May. Clean, good planned, entertained, the location is quite good, because of vicinity to beach, center and restaurants, but was really noisy in rooms till 3am, because of Ayia Napa Fun Park.
Free WI-FI, but actually it didn't work at all in room till 10 of May, and then it seemed like boosted. Nobody from staff could explain.

great quality yet cheap hotel.

Very friendly staff at check in. You can tell it has been refurbished as modern feel throughout the hotel and large flat screens hooked into the wall. Not much choice of English channels, 2 music, 1 news and I found a station playing old crappy films. No tea or coffee making facilities in room though, and the fridge was locked but apparently you can get a key. Bathroom has nice big shower and sink, and balcony was nice. The pool really is special, big and featured although was too cold this early in the season. Overall we found it great value, a nice hotel at the same price as the cheaper ones. And location is right at the start of the square.

Best choice hotel for Aiya Napa!

We stayed four nights in a garden suite, as a family of four (children aged 3.5yrs and 1yr). Excellent location - small supermarket across the road, 200m to the harbour and beach, a five minute walk to the Luna Park funfair. There's a bus stop to the waterpark just outside the hotel, but make sure the bus is going the right way! There are dozens of restaurants within a two minute walk, over 100 within ten minutes walking. We had breakfast included and thought it was a good selection. We ordered room service once (big portions, not bad but nothing special either) and otherwise ate out for lunches and dinners.

Service with out a smile

This hotel was very nice and the rooms were spotless. The beds were so comfortable and spacious. However, the staff was less than helpful. I checked before I arrived about checking in early and I was told this wouldn't be a problem. If for some reason I wouldn't be able to check in early they would store my luggage while I waited. When I arrived not only would they not allow me to check in but they refused to store my luggage. They offered to keep my luggage in a tv room where it would not be locked up and open to the rest of the hotel guest to lounge in. I was not happy and after sitting in the lobby with my luggage for over 2 hours I was finally allowed to check in. When I tried to explain that I had just come from not only a four hour flight and a 6 hour layover on a redeye and if they could please find it in their heart to store my two small pieces of luggage behind their counter so my friend and I could go eat, they firmly said no. This did not start my stay here on a good note and was I very unhappy with how they couldn't be bothered to be empathetic to my situation. Also, the fan in our room was not working in being late May is was very hot. When I went to the front desk to see if someone could take a quick look at it, they simple said no. Then they offered someone to look at it the following day when they saw that I was not pleased... no one ever came to look at the fan.

i was pleasantly surprised.the star ratings in Europe vary from country to country and can differentiate greatly. the staff was extremely friendly and helpful.even though this hotel is within short walking distance to the beach the pool area was also great and comfortable with many sunbeds.breakfast was great and had more variety than many other hotels of the same rating.maybe they could be open a little longer as they even closed at 10 on Sundays.the little workout gym is air conditioned and even though it is not huge and definitely doesn't include all machines, it was way more advanced and equipped than many other hotel gyms i have seen thus far.the only real complaint i have is that the cleaning personnel also came in the room when the \"do not disturb\" sign was up which sort of defeats the whole purpose of having it in the first place.but overall this was a great experience.the hotel had many families but also younger people between 18-35 staying on their own.if you want to go all out partying and cannot control yourself this is probably not the hotel for you and can find something more suitable in the area but if you enjoy having a good time out and then come back home whenever you please in a quite and respectful manner this hotel is great.

A heavenly hotel

I would highly recommend Faros hotel. It is a large beautiful and nicely kept hotel. The pool area is divine and luxurious with food/drink services sourrounding it. The location is superb, just a couple minute walk from the marina, the beach, shops and restaurants. Very helpful and curteous english speaking staff as well.

Great hotel for a Family

we have a pleasant week at Faros, we stayed on all inclusive basis, we are a family of 4 (2 daughters 9 and 11yrs old) everything was just fun, and pleasant, the staff are always willing to help in every possible way, food is good, with choices for every taste, this was my second stay at Faros, and I would definitely go back again.

The hotel is well situated near the harbour, the room was good although we had to change it because of the noise of the adjacent lift but the reception agreed to this with no argument.

The pool was fine, as was the breakfast.

The Faros could not be more conveniently placed. It's right at the bottom of the road between the square in Ayia Napa and the beach.
On arrival, we were met by extremely helpful reception staff, who wre aware of our late arrival time. The room was comfortable and very clean if a little dated in it's decor.
Breakfast was excellent, with a good variety on offer, lots of healthy options as well as the usual bacon and eggs.
The pool area is beautiful, no other word to describe it, with a \"jacussi\" area, a swim up bar and lovely landscaping.
The only thing about the experience that I found a little strange, were the number of residents from the Eastern Block. There weren't many Brits there at all, which didn't really bother us, I just thought it worth mentioning, because if you're the type of person who likes to chat round the pool with other guests, you might struggle.
Still, The Faros is a lovely hotel, and we loved staying there. So much so, In fact,that we're booking again for next year.

Faros Hotel in Ayia Napa - can do better

This hotel is well situated, at the center near of everything, the staff is correct, and they try to put you at ease. The overall cleanliness is not great, specially the bathroom where one would expect perfection, this was not the case. But it didn't stop us from enjoying the stay.
The only point that one should check on arrival is the discrepency between the ooking and the extras paid, and the room that is offered. We booked a double bed room with sea view, but were offered 2 single beds with garden view at the same rate.
Nevertheless, after talking withe manager, she could change our room: we finally got our double bed, but no seaview... so one advice: don't pay the extra because there is NO seaview in this hotel !

faros hotel very friendly

after arriving realised air/con not working. complained at midnight and night service in the lobby tried to help. Could not sleep first night too noisy from outside bars. In the morning manager summoned us. Moved us into garden suites with air/con working. Very friendly and clean. At the end of the day had a very enjoyable stay.
