I booked two rooms, non of the rooms were ready (An hours wait for each room) The front office staff informed me that previous guests were late checking out. I was informed the would give us an upgrade, this was not done. There were multiple guests who had to wait, as their rooms were also not ready.

Weak management not ensuring guests check out on time, led to other guests having to wait

At breakfast I had to ask for plates, napkins and for the buffet to be refilled (Most of the food was finished) There was no butter, no rice, no noodles, what was there was cold. I initially thought I was late for breakfast, this was 09:15, breakfast finished at 10:30.

We checked in for breakfast at the cashier desk, one room came with breakfast (Pre booked) and the second room would pay for breakfast. This was no issue until, another member of staff chased us around the buffet with the book, asking us what room, we need to pay despite already doing this, I was embarrassed.

Whilst eating breakfast, the same female member of staff who followed us around the buffet started to shout at another member of staff at the back of the restaurant.

I appreciate hotels can be busy and I know things don’t always run smoothly, however too many issues prompted my negative review.

I booked a deluxe room but was assigned to a superior twin room that's very smelly. I asked them if they could change my room to another one. I was okay with superior but just can't handle the smell of cigarettes. The staff was very helpful and upgrade my deluxe room to the chalet.

we went at 12pm to let front office know we needed a connecting room and not facing the road.The front office on 4 Feb said ok.By the time we went to check in at 2.30pm rooms were not ready keycards were not ready.For someone who works in the hotel myself I find this really unacceptable.They couldn't even care less!!Need big time improvement!I went early to make sure but nothing went right!

Value for Money & Nice Hotel at the fringes of KL

We were there for a wedding and put up only for one night but we have stayed here before. We like that the place is quiet. Best get the rooms facing the lake as they got a good view. The other rooms are facing the older wing of the hotel (houses a spa). It is a dated property but it is well maintained. Location is excellent as it is near shopping complexes and near to the Akleh highway so you can get to KL town center in a short while.

Waiting time for check in is to long. I'm waiting for the room to be ready almost 1 and a half hour. I'm waiting because of reception staff telling me i wanted double bed i have to wait half or one hour time. But when i'm waiting for so long i'm try to ask again. Then only o got by room. But unfortunately they still gave me king bed. So what the point. I only enjoy with a really friendly housekeeping staff.

Nightmare at flamingo hotel

Room is old & dirty, no tooth brash and toilet floor mat are given. Function music too loud until 1120pm ..that is not the worst.. No parking for guest request to park their car. I parked valet parking... 1205am call me to move to carpark .. I drove into carpark there isn't any lot. WT... Woke me up.. ..what happened to this hotel...OMG

The worst stay ever! Room was smelly, staircase dirty. Toilet flushed water which was brown. TV only had one channel. Hotel by the “lake” filled with rubbish. Staff were apologetic and tried to be helpful but the general condition and upkeep of the hotel was very poor. Expedia should not be promoting this kind of hotel to visitor as the overall impression is very poor.

The Best Lake Inviroment in Town!!!
Good Buffet Breakfast served and All Good Staff Very Excellent Good Job.Thanx for Front Office staff,Housekeeping Staff,Good Security,Maintainance Staff, F&B,Cheff and Kitchen Staff for Excellent Job.

Quite nice hotel nearby downtown KL with reasonable rates. Only parking lot is a bit problem. The basement car park is very limited especially during weekend. Had to park under the tree at the chalet area. Also no lift from basement car park to lobby (at least), which makes it hard to load/unload stuffs from/to car.

Nice place with bad maintenance

I like the ambience of the hotel, but the facilities are quite bad. The plug point at the dressing table and mainhall is not functioning, the mini bar is not functioning too. We just stayed for a day, so no time to wait for the maintenance to get it fixed. The pillow is not fluffy.

Nice hotel with affordable price, peaceful stay

Overall the hotel is good, nice lake view, bed is comfort. Although there are minor issue here and there, but staff are all helpful and prompt to action even though they still have to work during raya celebration, big thumbs up. And hopefully the hotel can do a little bit more renovation in the near future.

ONCE WE ARRIVED AT THE HOTEL, NO ONE WELCOMING US.EVEN THE RECEPTIONIST NEVER SMILE AND GREET US. I BOOKED FOR DELUXE ROOM WITH ONE KING BED. THE RECEPTIONIST GIVE ME THE ROOM KEY. UNFORTUNATELY, HE GAVE ME SINGLE BED ROOM. I WENT TO THE COUNTER AND ASK FOR THE ROOM THAT I BOOKED. HE SAID \"EVEN U BOOKED THE ROOM, IT STILL SUBJECT TO AVAILABILITY. AND ROOM FOR KING BED NOT AVAILABLE\". I FELT SO FRUSTRATED. AFTER A FEW MINUTES OF ARGUMENT, THERE WAS A MAN CAME OUT FROM THE OFFICE AND ASK MY PROBLEM, HE THAN MANAGED TO GET ME THE ROOM.
THE BED AND THE PILLOW ARE NOT SO COMFORTABLE, THE WIFI SO SLOW, AND YOU CANNOT DO THE JOB USING THE HOTEL WIFI. THE POOL ALSO SO DIRTY.

Hotel needs extensive upgrading.

This hotel like a lot of others in Malaysia needs to be upgraded the wall are concrete and in the humid climate of Kuala Lumpur they get mold on them and could do with a coat of paint. The internal walls are similar as are the walls in the rooms otherwise the services were up to standard.

Upon entering the room was greeted by a scent used to masked cigarette smoke although I requested for a non-smoking room. (Seems to me they do not designate non-smoking rooms from smoking rooms.)

Tried to turn the air-conditioner on, but the remote wasn't working all that well. Had to smack it a few times to get it working.

Earlier I've compared the room price by using TRIVAGO and it's straight away directed me to EXPEDIA..
I don't know how the system updated that I'm requested for extra bed and I've to pay extra RM60 for it but when I'm checked in, we only get the room with 2 single bed that's combined together.
I checked in with my husband and my 2yo son, than can u imagine how did we spend the night sleeping on a bed that has a space in the middle with a 2 year old child? The room rate also excluded the breakfast

Was horrified to find out numerous of cockroaches came out from toilet hole and room port hole. Have to use A4 paper to cover the holes to prevent more cockroaches from climbing out.

Air con in room emit loud sounds. Seem like ages air con never been service. My kids cannot sleep due to that sound and the sight of cockroaches. Room condition are poor with limited amenities. We immediately call the front desk to check if they can offer us another better room in the other building but was told fully booked. We even ask if we can pay additional money to upgrade to family room but the staff told us to check the next morning.

We decided to book thru Flip Key immediately for our next day stay and forfeited our next day stay at this place. Never again we will step in that place.

You can get your foods within 5mins walk to Ampang Point area, variety of foods is there from Sushi to Nasi Kandar lol

City is just within 10mins drive. Highly recommended when the promo is up.

The Only suites by the lake

Front Office staff on duty named Fiza was pleasant and warm welcome. I arrived late due to massive traffic jam and heavy rain. She had made my hectic day turns wonderful as she had upgraded our room to suites. Overall cozy place and spacious room fronting the lake. Just an \"odour\" in the room had discomfort me to enjoy the lovely room.

- Despite I have fully paid online before check-in, they still wanted me to pay RM200 deposit and will return when check-out. After the payment, they gave me the receipt and wanted me to sign on it! I told the hotel staff, they should sign on the receipt instead of me, but was told it is their management instruction and their standard practice! Very funny!!

Convenient and quiet hotel

We have always like to stay here as it is near the highway and away from traffic jam and shopping and eating places are within walking distance. The problem is the hotel needs a face lift. The toilet in the room are leaking and there are no extra pillows. The wifi password was difficult to connect and had to be changed every day. It used to be quite easy to connect and lasted all day. But this time it was disconnected by midnight and we had to reconnect again all the time. Quite inconvenient. The staff was nice and helpful. We would like to stay there cos it is convenient for us and helpful staff but the room we had really need some facelift. Otherwise all is good.

Scary experiences at night. Weird sound from the corridor. Not a comfy nice sleep throughout the nite.
