We booked the standard room which it was nice with wood floors, white bedding, white clean towels etc. Dunes inn is not fancy, actually we got a real key instead of a card key but it is a descent, simple and clean place to sleep in.
Cons... the AC was noisy which its not a big deal to me.

Overall it met my expectations.
Ill stay here again.

Very clean and welcoming property. Nothing falling apart. The AC was a window unit so while it works, it doesn’t effectively make or keep the room cool.

Still a great place for the location and cost.

Parking was tight but manageable when not crowded. Be wary when you open your trunk if you have a hatchback ( the roof of the parking is pretty low.)

The room was clean. I was assigned the accessible room so not sure if this had different amenities, however there were no bedside table/over bed lamps, which seems odd. No in-room coffee/tea service. There is a coffee vending machine near the pool, and a microwave. Pretty bare bones. Also the parking spaces are very narrow and indeed someone nicked my car when parking and left no note (gee thanks). Some rooms are right next to the pool, however the do close it at a reasonable time. Otherwise it felt generally safe, the front desk folks were good. I didn't see a lot of food places nearby. I drove further into Ktown for some coffee on my way out. It was respectfully quite on a Friday night.

Great and affordable hotel!! The bed was extremely firm which wasn’t too much of a problem but wouldve been nice if it was a little softer. The staff was excellent and everyone was very nice. The main problem I had was that there wasn't much of a channel selection on the tv. The tv kept saying there was no internet connection and the hotel wifi didnt show up as an option to connect to. So we couldnt watch any better channels and we couldnt use any of the apps on the tv (netflix, youtube, hulu) which was disappointing :/ But overall a good stay.

When I requested an extra pillow, it was brought to my room immediately. The bed was super firm. I was able to check in and check out rapidly. I read many reviews and they were all positive. That’s one of the reasons I booked this hotel.
While they said the place was clean, that’s correct. No problems with cleanliness, price, check in or location.
The problem was that the room had a weird smell. It was rather chilly that night so I turned on the airco, which also worked as a heating device. It worked but the noise was as if there was a plane flying through the room every time the airco kicked in. There was als quite a bit of street noise. The location was ok though, regarding safety.

I love the Dunes because it’s usually quiet and safe. The location is excellent from any point I need to go.
One thing that bothers me is that there are NO side lamps next to the beds. Only glaring lights from the ceilings. You used to have side lamps which gave the rooms a nice ambiance. Makes the rooms look like a YMCA without them. Also, need to upgrade your towels. The quality is pretty awful and cheapens the room. Other than that, it’s amazing. I’ve been staying there for almost 30 years off and on.

Two downsides: the beds are very very firm with flat pillows, and parking was very tight. If you have anything larger than a minivan, it probably won't fit. Still I give it a five because I was very impressed how nice it was for the price. And they don't charge for parking. Definitely stay there again when in the area. Will bring my own pillow

They have vending machines that only excepts cash, which I used which of course it did not release what I selected. I let the staff member know what happened; instead of him saying I’m sorry and that’s it, he actually took the time to get the key to the machine opened, it and gave me my item.

Stayed based on distance to BMO stadium.

Stayed one night to attend an event at BMO stadium which was about a 15 minute drive but with traffic took about an hour. The Inn is located in what seems to be a residential area which was quiet and felt safe. Parking is limited if you have a bigger vehicle because what was left when we returned was the spots closest to the walls and not easy to get into. The gentleman that worked the front desk were kind and helpful. The room was older and the mattress hard. They don’t use key cards, it was an actual key. No microwave in our room but there was a refrigerator. We would stay again.

The deposit was $100 and as of this review almost a week after our stay I'm still waiting for it to be returned.
