Excellent hotel IF you are fit to walk up to the building - as taxi's leave you at the bottom, then an, extremely, unbelievably steep incline up to lobby. Not advisable for elderly, unfit or heavy suitcase folks - find another hotel! Other than that, the location and what's around couldn't be more convenient. The free coffee with fruits brekkie and their outdoor deck makes for a wonderful start to the day. Excellent Thai resto close by, amonst others. Short walk to the harbour or a hike. Lots of shopping, this is the heart of HK, enjoy!

I stayed at the Wan Chai branch which is really well located - 5 minutes walk from Wan Chai MTR; lots of good food in the area (including the very famous Samsen, and all the eats along Lee Tung Street); and several tourist attractions in the vicinity (Blue House; Wan Chai Market). The neighbourhood is quiet, and safe.
Rooms and Amenities:
Absolutely comfortable, well maintained, and clean. Amenities include a fridge, washer-dryer (very handy!) and induction cooktop. Mattress was on the firm side which I liked. The rooms are exactly as depicted on the website. There is a lounge on the ground floor, as well as an open air balcony to chill out, eat, or smoke.

Staff are warm, friendly and helpful. Checking in and checking out were hassle-free and smooth.

What a fabulous start to my break in Hong Kong; I was greeted with a free upgrade at this hotel. The hotel room/flat itself was very spacious and could definitely fit 3 people in it. The sofa was firm enough and big enough for a child up to the age of 10 I would say. The washing machine and kitchen facilities all came in very handy especially as we had to use the machine every day. The aircon is powerful and there are air con machines in the living space and the bedrooms. It is very close to the MTR. There are lots of exits from the MTR, I used A3 mostly to get back to the hotel. It is very close to the markets for grocery and souvenirs. The staff were friendly and were able to speak in English and Mandarin. The free coffee from their lobby is amazing and I didn't bother buying coffee when I was out. I would definitely use this hotel again albeit a little hard work up the steep hill!

Not sure why but a lot of noise into the late night above us. We were on the 22nd floor of 24 floors. Other than that, the property was nice. FYI, you have to walk up a steep hill to get to the hotel.

I like the small kitchen in which I can prepare my hot drinks and heat up my food. Wan chai neighbourhood is very vibrant, very eclectic - modern fusion cuisine amidst the local noodle stalls! The wet market is just down the road - the perfect place to grab fresh fruits - a must for me when I travel!

Our stay at Ying'nFlo in Wan Chai was great! Our room was exactly as described and pictured. The staff are incredibly helpful and friendly and attended to our problems immediately (e.g., there were some issues with our washer-dryer and they replaced it with a new one within a couple of hours!). The location is great and close to convenience stores, grocery stores, and restaurants. There are many transport options nearby making it easy to commute. I would definitely stay here again!

Rooms were very comfortable and sizeable for Hong Kong and the amenities (kitchenette, washing machine/dryer, baby crib/bassinet) were perfect for travelling with our 3 month old. Despite having to walk a short stretch of steep road to get to the hotel, it was flat all around Wan Chai main areas and to walk to Times Square etc. Bus connections a minutes walk away taking you to the Peak, Stanley Beach, Causeway Bay etc. MTR less than 10min walk. Amazing food nearby. Would definitely recommend staying!

The staff were professional, polite and very accommodating as we went the day after the flood and they had offered to change the dates if we weren’t able to access the building.
The room itself was nice, little kitchen and small desk area. Our main issue was that the room was so humid with little to none ventilation meaning the AC had to be kept on 24/7. Additionally, the drain in the bathroom smelt like a public toilet. We told the staff and they went to clean it before we got back. This did help but the smell continued to linger.

It is a bit hard to find. The entrance is like inside an ally, and you have to go uphill so if you are carrying a lot of things it's not a go spot to go. It is also a bit scary when you go back to the hotel at late night. Room is comfy and quite afterall.

Upon arrival i was shocked to find i made a mistake and it was late and i was tired, so i decided to stay, it was only for one night. What a mistake. The hotel was on a back street up a steep hill and hard to find. The bed was hard, No HOT WATER, the Shower needed some work. I was truly disappointed..
I will pay better attention next time when booking my stay in HK.

Most notably, the rooms and bathroom are spacious and bright, especially for hong kong standards. The kitchen has a washer and dryer which is handy for longer stays. Bottled water provided daily which are great to take out on the road.

The apartments are reasonable size for Hong Kong standards and the room is as per the photos although they could be a bit cleaner. There was dust under the sofas etc. Staff were helpful and happy to answer any questions. Unfortunately I had a young child with me and the steep incline to get to the property made it a bit difficult for us to get around since we were a bit unlucky with the weather (pouring rain everyday). Otherwise, the property is conveniently located with the MTR not far at all.

Property is within walking distance to Wan Chia metro station and it's off the busy roads.Only 15 minutes walk to admiralty station. However, due to its hilly location,people with mobility issues should take extra care. The kitchenette should have tea,coffee,usgar and UHT milk and some washing detergent for the dishes and laundry should be included. The staff are always friendly and courteous which are a rarity nowadays.I recommend this hotel.

Great hotel with nice rooms but on a very steep hill, taxis usually won't drive up (not enough space) so you have to talk up and down a lot. Can be tough especially in the hot summer months and if you have mobility issues. Also if you call a taxi using the local app that doesn't work either as no driver knows this location. Better to walk down and get a taxi at the main road (Queen's Road)

Hong Kong is notorious for poor value - high prices for accommodation, shoe box size rooms at Presidential Suite prices, and a take it or leave it attitude from some staff. But here is something that is tolerable and acceptable. Don't get me wrong - this is not the highest spec place on the planet, but for HK it is not bad at all. Room shown on the publicity is somewhat bigger that the one you get, but you do have a little kitchen, a small eating area, a decent bathroom, and a very comfortable double bed. Oh and I forgot to mention the small sofa. Staff were super helpful and obliging. Also it is well located, not far from Wanchai MTR, close to buses and trams, so all in all, what are you waiting for?

We found this place on Google Maps and decided to give it a try after looking at the photos of the room on the hotel's website. We noted that it seemed to be on a slope which we found to be quite steep (about 35 to 40 degrees) when we arrived. However, it's not too hard for a taxi to reverse up to the hotel's entrance. A few more steps await before you get to the entrance proper, so if you or any of your fellow travellers are wheelchair-bound, you should rule this hotel out.

The Eaton Residence is great for a longer term stay in HK. I was there 9 days. I enjoyed the location close to Wan Chai MRT and lots of food choices. Loved having a washing machine. The staff was very helpful. The residence is on a steep pedestrian street so be mindful of that. It's a short walk but can be slippery with rain. The only downside was that some of the apartment needed maintenance. The shades were mostly broken for instance. A little refresh would be welcome.
