Hotel not as expected

Room was not as pictures on website and partly heavy worn. Air conditioning was noisy and not to adjust for nighttime in quite mode. Balcony faced waste land. Bathroom needs deep clean from stains and black mould.
Good and quite location with easy access to beach and amenities as all in 5 minute walking distance. Helpful staff and lagguage storage, but contamined with cockraches.

Not impressed with this hotel. Luckily we were only there for one night. Maybe there are better rooms but we must have been given the worst. The painting in the bathroom had drips everywhere- shower door didn’t close - bathroom door was dirty - mould on the shower ceiling and in corners. All in all a bad experience.

Upon arriving at the hotel there was no one at the reception desk and I had to ask the barman to find the reception staff, which is very bad for a three star hotel.

Once she arrived at the reception desk, she couldn't find my booking and told me to wait, which I did for 30 minutes and then she called me over and allocated me a double room on the fourth floor.

Upon entering the room there was a king size bed and mini fridge freezer and air-conditioning, but no tea and coffee and kettle and also the TV was very small with only a few channels to watch, also the remote control for the TV didn't work too !

There was a bathtub and shower, which I was pleased about and cold running water too !

But I had a small balcony with a fantastic view of the sea and larnaca bay !

Also there was no breakfast included in the booking and it cost an additional €8

The hotel is close to the city centre, which has plenty of bars and restaurants, but I couldn't recommend this hotel due to very bad customer service !

This is a decent hotel and good value given the location. Comfy bed, good shower, fridge in room. WiFi a bit patchy but okay. Receptionist helpful, cleaners thorough.

Hotel is 5 minutes walk from finnikoudis bus stop and 2 minutes walk from beach. Huge number of bars/restaurants within 10 minutes walk. The hotel has a lift and would probably be suitable for someone with minor mobility issues.

There is a fair bit of late night and early morning noise, probably inevitable given the location but the soundproofing could definitely be improved.

The room had everything I needed for a 1 night stay. Breakfast was included. Lady at front desk was very friendly and helpful during and after check in. Location is a few minutes walk to beach and eating places. The hotel is approximately 10 minutes bus ride from the airport.

Just a short 2 night stay. The room was very small but I did book single room & once I acclimatised to the size it was fine! I had a couple of issues in the room but I spoke to reception & they sent a maintenance man to fix them very promptly. Excellent breakfast, lots of choice & very tasty, hotel is in a great location, very near to lots of restaurants & seafront. View from room not great - I overlooked a scruffy car park. Overall, it was great value for money.

Room infested with large cockroaches

Beware of this boutique hotel. My room and bathroom was infested with huge, extra large cockroaches, I couldn't sleep in the room and was terrified and traumatised. The reception staff were bored, always on mobile phones and unfriendly. The short lady with long dark hair who assists with breakfast is rude and unwelcoming, the buffet breakfast felt controlled. A very unpleasant stay. Avoid like the plague.

Amorgos boutique hotel

The hotel was ok. The entrance and dining area were fine but the rest of the hotel was tired looking and needs updating. The location is good for access to the beach and restaurant area though the shortest route is through McDonald's. The greatest asset to the hotel are the staff who were always pleasant, polite and very helpful. However it is doubtful that I would stay here again.

Okay for an overnight stay

The location was perfect for short walks to the sites and beaches in the centre. They strictly impose guests to wear masks and gloves in the breakfast area which was reassuring. Would be happy to stay again. They probably need to renovate the rooms a bit as it feels old and there was a tiny spider in the shower.

Non-operable AC and TV in Rooms

Everything was going well following my initial cheçhk-in. Then when I got back from having a late dinner I discovered that the air conditioning unit in room 407 was operating at 26 Degrees Celsius non stop, without any way to shut it off or lower the temperature; as was confirmed by the front desk clerk who I summoned to the room. Eventually he switched me into Room 405 about 1:00AM. Then I discovered that the TV in this room was not able to be turned on. And when I reported this to same desk clerk, he politely said that there was nothing he could do, but would make a note if what happened in both rooms, and how I was inconvenienced. By the time I was able to get to bed it was after 2:00AM. But I had to get up at 6:30AM in order to catch a departing morning flight from Larnaca Airport. So, I never got a decent night's sleep, and almost missed my plane. I think a fair resolution would be either riembursement of what I paid, or a free room there in the night if July 26stbwhen I return to Larnaca from Egypt, which is where I am now; at a booking made through you at the Pyramisa Suites Hotel. Meanwhile, it should be noted that the clerk was always polite and professional, and did the best that he could. But I was not happy wasting about three hours of my time, first finding out that my room was being heated while staying at a seaside resort, unpacking, packing, unpacking, and having to pack again. And then not having a TV even though I paid for one.

We booked and payed online for a night in this hotel for 90 euros/night. When we arrived, the receptionist told us that the rooms were under renovation and no room was available, so she ordered a cab to take us to another hotel nearby (worth 40 euros/night) (?????).

We asked in advance if there were Covid testing clinics in the area. They never responded. There was one 2 blocks away. The hotel advertised free parking on Hotels.com. We were told no parking was available. We told them that was key for us in booking their hotel. They didn’t care and told we would have to find our own parking and pay for it ourselves. If you are looking for a nice, clean room close to the beach, bars and restaurants then this is a good option.

Don’t expect a room with a view as the hotel is located on a small street behind the main strip and is a 60 second walk to McDonalds.

We were really impressed with the breakfast, as served to you behind a plastic screen, tables wiped before you sat down - felt very covid safe. The quality of the breakfast was very good and better than most 4 star Cypriot hotels we’ve stayed in.

There were some lovely touches in the room with dressing gowns, slippers and a good selection of extras in the bathroom (tooth brushes, shampoo, ear buds etc). Fit and finish ie painting wasn’t amazing but didn’t impact our stay.

For the price of the rooms we would definitely stay again to be close to the beach and restaurants

We returned to the hotel after 6 years and it was just as amazing as during our first trip. Great value for money. The staff was extremely friendly, the breakfast was fantastic and overall we enjoyed tremendously. Location was also excellent.The only downside was the WiFi: it didn't work too well in the room. Also the parking is little problematic.

I liked the mattress, it felt like an american mattress unlike most hotel beds in most places in Europe. The tv had english speaking movie channels not HBO or something like that but it was better than only having BBC or something like that. The location is excellent. The hotel is cluttered by Cypriots they seem to book this hotel up in the off season prob because it's their favorite hotel in the area so it doesn't have a lot of rooms available. They were holding a loud bday party downstairs of me which was annoying but at least there wasn't any bar music.

They put in to room 107 which is directly about the entrance all night you could hear people coming and going. Each time the door opens and shuts it’s like a rumble of thunder. Also the aircon in that room was so noisy that it was like sleeping on a plane with the engine noise. To top everything the bin men turned up at 3.45am to empty the bins. Not very happy.

We was told that “ if you do not continuing book this hotel for another day , you can’t deposit luggage here”. Same question, three staff give us three different answers. The lady who checked us in said, of course , you can deposit your luggage here. Next morning , a women who. Checked us out said : “no luggage deposit service for no continuing customer.” The manager said. Hotel don’t have safe luggage deposit room . “ Ridiculous!! We are worldwide traveler ,Every Hotel no matter how big or small , all provide luggage deposit service for customer,without condition of such as “ you must book this Hotel for another day” Awful experience.

Amazing hotel just a few meters away from the beach, good value for money! Very clean and spacious room providing everything we needed and a huge, very comfortable bed. Staff was pleasant and polite and always at our disposal.

Over the hotel is good but just needs to make it sleeker

Like labelling vegetarian foods on the breakfast buffet as a vego it was hard to determine what to eat and not.

Lighting in the staircase and when staff cleaning not to block the entrances.

And maybe vacuum the rooms instead of only tidying them up.

A charming small hotel

We have just returned from the Amorgos Boutique Hotel in Larnaca. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We had chosen a grand superior room and it was all we could have wished for. The staff were friendly and helpful and the breakfasts were exceptional. The only downside was that the hotel could do with some maintenance and the hotel was in a back street looking out at the rear of the buildings on the promenade. Looking right or left from our balcony we had views of the harbour on one side and the seafront on the other side.

Great hotel at a great price!

The hotel was great and the service was great. Only problem we had was that there was some sort of a mixup with our reservation and they had not received it by email so it was not logged into their system. So instead of staying 4 nights, we stayed only 1 night and the other 3 nights they moved us to another hotel.

I stayed at this hotel twice in one trip (the second time was because I was stuck with a nonrefundable reservation). The first time I was given a room on the first floor and did not get any sleep at all. There is a club next door that is open very late and you can hear the music and drunk people every minute of the night. The people at the front desk tried to say that the noise is only when the doors open but that is certainly not true. Since I knew I was stuck returning there at the tail end of my trip, I specifically requested a quiet room on the opposite side of the hotel. I called two days before my return as well to ensure that I was getting a quiet room and two beds. Upon my return, they had us in a room close to the club as well as only one double bed. We had to fight to get moved and this was only after they lied about what rooms were available. The bed itself is comfortable and clean but the room is dirty. The first room had hairs all over the place and was stuffy. The second room was extremely stuffy and we had to keep the windows open the entire time. They also did not clean the room each day beyond making the beds. I also had to request refills for the soap. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone since they would not be guaranteed a quiet or clean room.

Quick Larnaca Visit

We just spent one night at Amorgos but overall we had a great experience. It's quite close from the airport in case you're doing a layover and close to the beach if that's your idea of visiting Larnaca. Fast and easy check in and we loved the complementary wine, chocolates ,water and fruit. You can have a wide variety of options to eat lunch and dinner or even going out for a drink or coffee. We had breakfast included and it's quite good with a big space to eat confortable and wide variety of things to eat. Good value for the money. The only thing I would recommend they should improve is having a proper room to leave the luggage in case you have an early arrival or a late flight.

Larking in Larnaca

The hotel is bright and airy and very clean. there are areas that need touching up but every hotel has them. Some just hide them better than others. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Room was cleaned every day and towels were changed. Beds were comfortable and the weather was great. Food was reasonable and the shops had sales on - heaven

Nice way to start and finish our holiday

Nice hotel, some little touches of luxury for the price (free mini bottles of wine and fruit in the room). Good breakfasts and staff who speak impeccable English.

Better than expected!

Incredibly helpful, pleasant, friendly, efficient staff, could not have been better. Wonderful location, accessible by bus from airport, in the middle of downtown, close to shops. Unbelievable breakfast buffet. Just recommended to a friend who is going there! Most modern furniture, plumbing, although there is no real view of the sea, the balconies are cute.
