Spacious, clean and well equipped bedroom and a decent bathroom, with a bath, which was nice.

The staff were friendly and helpful and the breakfast was very tasty with a good range of choices.

The room was comfortable and clean. I was most impressed with the reception staff. I had missed bringing an electrical converter with me and went downstairs to ask where I might find one. The reception staff handed me one and just asked that I return it upon checkout. She also ordered an early morning taxi for me, that came on time. Excellent stay.

All in all we enjoyed our stay. We had a very nice room with a view towards the sea. We had a few issues which the hotel staff dealt with quickly. Parking is very limited at the hotel but there is free parking quite close by. The hotel is situated in a central position right by the St Lazarus search and very close to the beach and numerous local shops and restaurants. The only negatives would be the lighting in the room which could be brighter and the fresh fruit option at breakfast which was not very appetising.

I've been staying at Livodhiotas during visits to Cyprus since 2008. I have always had a great experience. The staff is friendly and helpful, whether it is securing my lost luggage when it finally arrives, booking taxis, or providing wake-up calls. The location is terrific, within walking distance to everywhere I want to go in Larnaka. The room is comfortable and clean, and the price makes for good value.

No parking near the hotel had to park in public car park and carry luggage. Rrom was small and no water provided fir tea or coffee although facilities were provided for this. Requested late check out as didnt check in til 11.00pm they said it was not available. Breakfast was very good and plengiful though.

This stay at Livadhiotis City Hotel was about my 10th. The hotel never fails to meet and exceed expectations and it starts with the friendly and helpful staff at check-in. The rooms are comfortable, a decent size, and have amenities that make the rooms a good value for the price, e.g., large TV, a sturdy safe, full bathroom with a tub, and a balcony. Rooms are kept clean. The hotel location is perfect, near great restaurants, the beach, historical attractions, and a scuba shop. The tourists can be a bit noisy, but that comes with the location, and I would not trade it for anything. To top things off, breakfast is included. I stumbled across Livadhiotis in The Lonely Planet Guide. Lucky me!

One of the most terrible places ever

The place is honestly one of the most terrible hotels I have ever been to. Impossible to understand where all the positive reviews coming from. There is no air-condition in the corridors, lifts and bathrooms so each time you step out there you come back totally wet. Leaks from the toilet and bathroom on the floor, bad cleaning and non-existent sound isolation will make your stay complete. The doors are made from cardboard so you hear exactly every step and talk in the corridor + constant noise from the elevators. The aircon inside room is barely working. The reception is extremely rude and shouted at me when I asked if I can leave just one hour after checkout because it was impossible to sleep due to noise. Avoid this place at all costs

Stayed here for 4 nights. The hotel itself was lovely. with a 24 hour reception. A bar and food available. all the staff was very friendly and helpfull. The roo. itself was great. in the room was a safe . tv. hair dryer . iron and ironing board. shampoo. and shower gel. Kettle and cups for making coffee . the best equipped hotel ive ever been in! The room was warm but had good air conditioning if needed. Breakfast was included and very nice. toast. jams. cheeses. breads. cooked meats and fruit. yoghurt and cereals. also boiled, scrambled or fried eggs and beans. fantastic. the hotel is in a great spot for the beach and for the town. right by st lazarus church. very reasonably priced for the type of hotel it was. if i return this will be my first choice to stay

Not the best in that price! Decent with issues

In general it is a decent hotel however, everything is mediocre including breakfast, cleaning, facilities, condition of the rooms. Another big disadvantage is the fact that the rooms are not soundproof and every sound from the surroundings (as the hotel is in the hart of the city with many bars around) is reaching the guest's bed. There are better solution in Larnaca in that price range. I will use it again if no other hotel is available.

The bed is uncomfortable and very old... the staff was kind enough and helped us to change the room trying to offer several option but the hotel condition is really terrible. no air conditioning in the corridors, the towels are very old and in bad condition. A great find in the heart of Larnaka!

This hotel is in a great location right next to Saint Lazarus’ church and square. It is perfect for exploring central Larnaka. Staff were very friendly at check-in/checkout. The place was spotless, beds were comfortable, rooms were quiet and well equipped. I stayed here upon my arrival in Cyprus, and enjoyed my stay so much that I booked a couple more nights for my last few days before departing Cyprus. If I have the fortune of returning to Cyprus, I would like to stay here again.

Absolutely disgusting. City view room 60 euros a night and my view was the balcony of the apartment building. Not to mention there was black mold all over the bathroom and the towels were grey and stunk. I asked for new towels and I got attitude from front desk. 45 minutes later I got towels that stunk like mold with rust stains on them. I checked out two days earlier bc I couldn’t take it anymore. They didn’t even ask me why I was leaving or if they reimburse me!!!!!

Great Service, Subpar Facility

I stayed at this hotel for 5 days while visiting archaeological sites in the region. I have to say that the staff of the hotel were very friendly and helped with almost every problem I had at the hotel. But, while the people and the location were great, at the price I paid I could have stayed at another hotel with better facilities. The first room I checked into had an ant infestation. At first I thought it was just one or two but found the crack in the wall where there were hundreds moving in and out of the room. They were on the bed, desk, you name it. Naturally, I moved to another room where there was a really bad smell coming from the drain (the same smell was present in the other room as well). In the center of the room, the floor was laminated with something that was peeling and there were stains on almost every towel in the bathroom. Also, throughout the entirety of my stay my sheets were changed maybe twice, despite my requests. Finally, the ant problem seemed to not just be within the hotel rooms, as I found countless ants in the common area on the first floor as well. Overall, I wish I booked a room at another hotel.

As a single booking I was accommodated in a large three bed room which was very comfortable. The hotel has a lift which is a definite plus. It is in a good location near the St Lazarus Church and surrounded by many cafes and bars. To avoid being kept awake by traffic etc shut the windows and use the air conditioner. The hook to fix the the hand held shower at normal shower height was broken and the shower is over the bath - not great for oldies. A good buffet breakfast was included in the price. There is free parking nearby.

Bargain price, but needs attention.

Room looked in need of decoration - old-fashioned and worn. The floor covering was definitely in need of replacement.
Everything was clean, the bed was comfortable, the bathroom had been upgraded in recent times.
The receptionist was friendly and helpful as we're all staff except a man on night duty on the Sunday evening - he was gruff and rude to people checking in and when answering the telephone.
The breakfast was ok. The only fresh fruit were apples, very good apples, however this is orange time in Cyprus. Some local oranges would have been welcome.

They have created a good quality property with nice stylish fit out. Only 2 drawbacks there is no in-room wifi which is which is very poor for business use and isn't very expensive to install. The wifi is only in the hotel lobby and even then it is unstable and requires regular router reboots. Don't be surprised if you can't connect your device.

The breakfast is adequate but serving orange juice which is just thinned down squash is a cost reduction too far. The location is good and the hotel is easy to find. Both weaknesses in this hotel could be fixed for little investment and then the hotel would be a solid 3 star plus.

Room was clean and staff eager to help.

My timing was perfect: I arrived during one of the coldest, wettest, windiest week on record in Larnaca, January, 2015. No matter, Livadhiotis City Hotel is a great little hotel with big city style.
