Have stayed there a number of times over the years. It is convenient for me and good price. However, this time the service wasn’t good. The staff were pleasant but were over stretched covering both the kitchen and reception, which meant having to wait for both things. The breakfast was cold despite being kept in the warmers. Didn’t dare taking much scrambled eggs as it wasn’t sufficient.

I love this place and the staff, from the receptionist to the housekeeper.

Michelle and her team are professional and friendly.

My room was clean every day, and the bed and bathroom were cleaned properly.

This place has fridge so its really ideal to stay here for more than 3 days.

They have soap and clean towels just bring conditioner
Ask for hot water for your tea if needed. Would have been nicer if they also offered a hot water maker, but the fridge is good enough to keep my drinks, fresh OJ, and yogurt cold.

Close to the grocery store and next to a wash and dry place.

Yes, Ill stay here again.

Not a good experience. We arrive at hotel on a Saturday at 5pm after completing the Camino. The restaurant was closed and also the bar. We have booked hotel because it has restaurant. No other restaurants nearby, area not good. Next morning restaurant was open, but lady was extremely rude. She crabbed cup of coffee from my hand as i was supposely not allowed to take coffee from area where a noisy group of teenagers are having breakfast, i cannot recommend this hotel

The only thing I can complain was that there is no elevator to get to sixth floor just up to fifth. but the room was so wide and confortable.

I went to \"el camino de santiago\" and this was really good hotel choice, it's about two kilometers away from Santiago Cathedral, but worth the walk

It was very hot the days I stayed there, so with no air conditioner or fan, and with the window opening on to a busy road, sleeping was impossible. Other than that, the location wasn't too bad, about 2 km's to Cathedral. Clean and friendly staff. Just wouldn't recommend in hot weather.

Great base for Compostela visit.

Lovely hotel ideally situated if you are visiting ancient Compostela. Only a 15-20 minute walk away. Endlessly friendly and helpful staff. Good value breakfast. Parking on site for €8 per night but very tight and steep. Free public parking nearby. Spotlessly clean. Very comfortable beds. Only complaint is no slip mats or grab handles in bath. Would recommend this hotel without hesitation.

Nice hotel close to the historic area

Comfortable hotel which was about 15 minute walk to the historic area and restaurants. Hotel did have a bar/cafe attached to it which we enjoyed having a snack and a drink. Room was very clean. The staff were friendly and helpful especially when we wanted to access the car park. IT was very tight but we managed and we preferred paying for it rather than it being on the street.

Can't beat location for getting in and out of town

This hotel (my 6th stay here) is about a 10 to 15 minute walk to either bus or train station. I prefer it to hotels in the city's historical district because it is quieter and easier to arrive/depart the city. Services are good-- nice breakfast. Also close to a major shopping center, which is convenient for those looking for other than souvenirs and touristy items. Beauty shops, laundry services, etc. are closer down here than in the center of the city.

Good ending for a long hiking trip

I had hiked for 44 days from France and across northern Spain as part of a religious, spiritual and cultural pilgrimage. I had sent extra baggage to the hotel in advance. It was a delight to have a room ready with the extra things I needed to enjoy the city. Wifi service was free. Snacks and drinks from the bar were very reasonable in price.

A very welcomimg hotel: staff were helpful, room was very clean with a well set out bathroom and the continental breakfast was good, The bar was a relaxed place if you needed to wait around and tables were set out on the pavement too.Free WiFi access was available in the foyer.
Only Two Reservations:
As a person with mobility problems I found the sloping ramp for wheeling up suitcases impossible to use.....very steep with no rail. I needed help to get the case into the hotel.
Position: Midway between the city centre and the airport.A little further out than I had expected...a 10 euro taxi ride in....so not best suited for exploring the city centre.

Disappointed in Santiago De Compo

Hotel reasonably easy to find, located in a street full of car repair workshops. Parking was not easy with minimal spaces available in street. Reception polite, but room was disappointing, very 'unfresh' atmosphere to room, then we found that the TV didn't work, the in-room safe was locked and there was no bottle opener in the fridge! Not major problems but not what you should expect and very annoying. These problems were cheerfully resolved by the receptionist. Hotel is in easy walking distance of the town centre for a fit and healthy person, but the location is awful. Pleasant small cafe/bar on site.

The hotel is conveniently located close to a bus station when arriving from the airport.
Very clean, very nice and there is a short-cut street up (quite a climb) to the old city center. At the entrance of the hotel there is a nice cafeteria.
The wireless connection is good, but does not work at the 6th floor. If you need internet be sure to ask before you get a room. I stayed for 8 nights at the 6th floor, which is very nice attic-like floor. Good size window (half on roof, half on wall), refrigerator, working desk, big bathroom, big shower, no bathtub.
15-20 minutes walk to the old city center (uphill).

Bring your walking shoes!

This is a terrific little hotel, that offers a great value to business and leisure travelers alike. My room was very clean & comfortable, and staff was very helpful. The buffet breakfast was ok. The free internet only works in the lobby area. also: the garage is accessible to small cars only!
The hotel is a STRENUOUS 15 min walk from Old Town, so if you are physically challenged or don't like to walk up steep hills, avoid this hotel! I rather enjoyed it. There is a reasonably priced parking lot about half way, but that would still leave you with one hill.

Location was a little farther from the old part of town and the tourist attractions than I would have liked, but the choice of location was mine. The surrounding area was a bit more commercial/industrial than I would have liked, but again, the choice was mine. Staff was EXTREMELY helpful in arranging transportation to the Airport, and directions to the attractions in the area. They also held my luggage after check out, as I had a late flight out.

The Cuidad is a nice hotel, about a 10 minute walk from the beautiful old town. The rooms are large but rather warm in the summer due to the lack of air-con (there are windows that open but most rooms overlook a main road). A little attention to detail was required in my room as for example the safe didn't work, but overall it was comfortable and fine for a short stay.

Rommet og badet hadde god størrelse,
var godt rengjort, hadde god komfort
og de nødvendigste fasiliteter;
TV (kun spanske kanaler) og WIFI.
Det var ingen temperatur regulering,
Vinduet kunne åpnes - men dette ga
litt trafikkstøy i morgentimene.

Frokost er ikke inkludert
og heller ikke benyttet
pga stor trengsel og støynivå i frokostsalen.

Parkering i hotellets garasje
er ikke inkludert (8 Euro / natt)
og gir utfordringer med å kjøre ned
og enda større å kjøre ut igjen.
Anbefales IKKE😖😖😖
Alternativet er å parkere på gaten
dersom det er noe ledig

Il primo impatto con la receptionist è stato professionale ma un po' freddo. L'albergo, invece, è molto gradevole, la stanza è comoda ed accogliente. Il parcheggio non è disponibile ma sul viale fronte hotel, se fortunati, si trova posto in strada. In alternativa c'è un ampio parcheggio nelle vicinanze. La struttura è \"strategicamente\" in prossimità del centro storico, raggiungibile a piedi in un quarto d'ora. Positiva la nostra valutazione globale.

Hotel increiblemente basico. Estaba limpio pero las instalaciones dejan mucho que desear. Camas individuales con ruedas, toallas muy pequeñas y rotas, ducha extremadamente pequeña. No hay termostato en la habitacion asi que te tienes que pelear con el radiador, no hay aire acondicionado.
El personal correcto pero no tienen checkout automatico como anuncian.
El wifi es correcto y el desayuno bastante aceptable, pero buffet.

Fuimos temporada baja en invierno, precio calidad inmejorable. Agua bien calentita, lo único que no funcionaba el extractor del baño y el vapor no se fue ni al día siguiente. Limpio comodo, desayuno exquisito, personal super amable.
Lo que podria mejorar es retirar las alfombras de las habitaciones y pasillos renovando ese aspecto.
