The hotel is beside the famous Mercado Abastos de Santiago and up a few stairs from the bus stop for the 6A bus that goes to and comes from the airport for one euro cash. There is a beautiful restaurant on the ground floor and cute and newly renovated rooms above. We had a double bed, washroom with bath and shower a Juliette balcony and a closed in balcony with chairs and a table, a safe and 3 part closet. The hotel was impeccably clean and the staff who were extremely helpful.

This hotel was wonderful for us in terms of location, service and comfort. It is right in the center of town, close to the outdoor market and cathedral. Our room was spacious and very comfortable. The AC actually worked, which we can't say for many three star hotels in Spain. If you are sensitive to noise, the location might not be the best because there will be talking and shouting throughout the night, but we didn't mind it once we closed all the windows. The only negative thing we will say is how lame the breakfast was. Don't pay the hefty $14/pp for it if it is not already included in your rate. The food selection was extremely limited, and they ran out of so many things by 9am (breakfast is 8-10am) and was very slow to replenish due to lack of staff. We wished we had just gone elsewhere for breakfast. BUT, other than that, it was overall a very pleasant experience!

Definitely recommend!

A lovely hotel and an amazing place in the middle of the Old Town. I had a feeling that the owner is absolutely in love with his/her hotel: how else could one explain all those details which make the place so different and cosy? Reception staff is just excellent. They know how to help you before you ask. I'll recommend this hotel to all my friends and hopefully also come back here one day.

1) Great rooms ...but attention needs to be centred on noise levels from other rooms!!! Literally you could hear everything!!

2) If self parking then advice on how and where to park prior to the stay would have been very helful

Loved the location

Initially we had some difficulty finding this clean, well-kept hotel so close to the Cathedral of St. James. I would advise calling the hotel directly once you get into this city for personal direction. Off-site parking but you can drop and pick-up luggage from front door of hotel. We loved the location—walk out into a small plaza with bar and restaurant available within steps. Most importantly, the front desk staff were helpful to weary travelers! We were made to feel welcome when checking in and they even helped load our luggage when we left! We didn’t speak Spanish but hotel staff did a great job with English directions. Rooms were well kept and we loved the windows that opened into the plaza for fresh air! We would be happy to return!

This is a wonderful, old European-style hotel with modern, warm updates in a perfect, charming location. If you can nab a corner room (rooms that end in 4 or 2), even better. It has a fabulous restaurant downstairs that's open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. And the staff could not be more helpful, I should know as I ended up staying here 5 nights! The rooms are spacious and the amenities are modern. I would stay here again in a second!

From booking in to booking out the hotel staff couldn't have been more helpful, showing us routes in and out of the city, closest carparks all important in a citycente where no cars allowed. THE place to stay at in Santiago

Absolutely Perfect. Stayed here after walking the Camino Frances, and was looking for somewhere close to the cathedral, comfortable, and spacious. This is the place for all of that. It was a 2 minute walk to the cathedral, THE most comfortable mattress and great shower, and plenty of room to move around - with a great view of some cafes and fresh fruit market below. (We had room 303). The place was super quiet, the top level (there are 4 levels) has a relax room where you can just sit around and read, or use the free computer. The hotel does clothes washing (it sends your clothes away and returns them in 24 hours - although they rushed mine and had them back at 9pm as I was heading off early the next day).
There is nothing to hard for the friendly staff here. Maria was outstanding. We were recommended a few restaurants by the staff - and one of the recommendations was THE best food we had in all of Spain. It really is THE only place to stay at when in Santiago. You won't be disappointed.

Spent two days after my camino at this hotel. Staff was very helpful with getting the camino laundry done and all other requests. Great place to stay since it s only about a five minute walk to the cathedral. Can\"t say enough good about the staff.

A very pleasurable stay in a very clean, modern, boutique hotel. The only drawback, due to my stay on the eve of the feast of Santiago (St. James) on the 24th of July, the patron saint of Spain, was the late night revelry and accompanying noise of locals and visitors celebrating into the early hours and beyond. Would probably not stay at this hotel on this date again. However, very friendly and helpful reception desk staff compensated somewhat for this drawback. Buffet breakfast was fantastic, with loads to choose from.

El hotel es muy bonito y muy bien ubicado. El recepcionista muy amable.
Estuvimos una noche al inicio de nuestro viaje y otra al final. La primera todo perfecto. La última nos dieron la habitación 205 que tiene una luz de seguridad encima de la puerta que ilumina toda la habitación y no te deja dormir. No se puede apagar de ninguna manera. Esa habitación no es apta para el descanso. Nos han ofrecido un antifaz como solución. Es una pena porque la habitación es preciosa.

Hotel para volver!!!

La estancia en general fue maravillosa, el personal del hotel encantador, la situación inmejorable (en pleno centro histórico y al lado de la plaza de abastos), la limpieza perfecta.
El único punto negativo fue el agua de la ducha, no tenía presión.
