The room and the hotel in general were clean. The staff was very pleasant and attentive. They offer a variety of activities, including a bike ride on an easy route. If you want to relax in a quiet, peaceful place without a lot of people, then this is the place for you.

The room was breathtaking and the atmosphere of the whole resort was perfect for a vacation get away at Koh Samui, I’m really happy with the service that the Avani+ team provided and the check-in and check-out process was smooth and fast. The amenities with the rooms were excellent, and the Avani Spa is a must try.

This was a perfect quiet getaway in Koh Samui! They even decorated our room in celebration of our honeymoon! We loved the private pool, spacious room and resort overall. It was further away from things but we didn’t mind as we were looking for a peaceful secluded stay! The gym was great to have, the resort also had a movie on the beach night which was so nice, and options to explore neighbouring islands (pig island) was so much fun! Highly recommend staying here! Thank you!

Whilst the resort itself was wonderful, we had staff enter our private pool quarters unannounced on more than one occasion, leaving doors and windows open to the beach front allowing other guests to see inside etc.
Hardly the kind of thing you want on a private get away with your partner.
Management seemed to brush this off in subsequent emails which is unacceptable.

We loved our stay! The resort is beautiful and the staff is so kind and helpful. The amenities (gym, spa, multiple pools) were lovely, and the food was quite good with ample variety. We loved the peacefulness of the resort and surrounding area. The resort offers daily shuttles to other locations on the island, which is helpful given the remote location makes it somewhat difficult to get to other areas of the island. Something to consider if you want to be close to lots of busy action! Additionally, I agree with other reviewers that the \"beach\" is really just a local boat dock with frequent boat activity and occasional smells of gasoline. We still enjoyed our time relaxing, but this could be important if you're someone who wants to lay in the sand and swim in the ocean!

Excellent experience. The staff were extremely kind and accommodating. They always made sure we felt at home and had what we needed. The resort itself is stunning. The rooms were gorgeous, and always very well kept by room service. The pools were always clean, and so was the beach infront. The restaurant was amazing, every meal was incredible. We cannot recommend the breakfast buffet enough! So so many options, and everything was so good. The only thing I would note is that the resort is not located in any major city. If you wanted the “city experience” it would take at least 35-45 minutes from the resort to get that. We loved it because it meant peace and quiet were we where, and free transportation is provided daily to Chewang and Lamui. The beach itself was not high enough to swim in while we were there, but with pools right there is was not a problem. Chewang also has a stunning beach. Overall, highly recommend!

Ok so overall stay was calm and relaxing however, it is located on the very other side from the airport so it takes about an hr to get here as well as the main CBD area such as Fisherman's village.
But if you are looking for smth quite and relaxing, this is the place to go. it felt very private and secluded but it does take a bit to get out of the resort area.

We stayed at private pool villa which was wonderful, I dont think I can stay anywhere without the pool but my pool didn't had a night light so it was a bit eerie at night.

But there is this one staff called 'Palm' and geez he made my experience from 5 stars to 3 stars. I asked him about the light, nothing happened. Ordered Pepperoni pizza but got Truffle pizza and I asked for noodles from the menu and he said its not available when I can see other people having it. I asked him two days in a row and he said no every time and when I asked other staff, they brooght it out right away. So I don't know if he had a problem with me but damn one staff can change your experience so bad.

Amazing First Class Experience

The room we had was beyond fantastic. The private plunge pool was an amazing surprise. The room was very large and amazingly clean. Fully stocked mini fridge carried us through the night as our stay coincided with Buddha Day and no alcohol could be served, but it was alreadybin the fridge so that was ok!
The staff were very helpful and courteous, even finding a dress my wife had mistakingly left and bringing it to us. If i am ever back on Koh Samui i would definitely stay here again.

Awful experience. 4 nights 4 different rooms. Had staff basically hold me hostage for 2 half days so I could prepare to move because beds work awful than moved me to room with no AC than to room that was 32 degrees cold and couldn’t turn off the Ac. Food not good. Awful awful awful. I should be provided a refund given how pathetic their service and property is.

Great for a couple to be away from everything.Property is clean, pool and gym are well maintained, staff are courteous and try their best to make your stay comfortable. The beach is like a lake & you can walk 3-500 meters into the water and only comes up to your waste. Yes you can hike in the ocean if you wanted.

You may want to rent a scooter to get into a village nearby - which is 350 bhts per 24 hours.

I did not use the spa, but it looked calm and quiet (& hidden) from outside.

It's a boutique type property w modern aesthetic.

Avani+ Samui is an ideal place for vacation , love the overall choice of colour and furniture which is very young and fresh. Perfect vibe for young couples. The only thing to pick on is us being frequently bothered by flies in the essence restaurant.

The hotel is clean and nicely decorated. They have two pools and its right on the water so its amazing. Their breakfast is delicious. The staff are so nice. They provide a beach bag to use and flip flops. They also have a free shuttle that goes into Chaweng or Lamai.

The only thing I didnt like was the water pressure in their shower. I couldn't get any hot water. The water was warm or sometimes even cold and that was putting the shower at the highest setting. It was a bit unpleasant because all of a sudden the water would turn cold when youre trying to wash yourself.

Great resort - bad location. Far from everything. Nice place to stay for a quiet day or two if you plan to stay mostly on the resort. I definitely recommend the free shuttle to lamai and chaweng for more of the hustle and bustle. The beach and pool are a good place to relax and the rooms are comfortable. Food is more expensive than outside the resort, but not as bad as some other hotels. There’s a nearby town you could walk or bike to (or take a taxi) that has good food and cheap spas.

I booked Sunset Coast without having any expectations. I just needed a place to stay for a friend's wedding. When I arrived to Sunset Coast, there was a sign greeting me and during check-in, I was provided a drink. I was upgraded to a villa for free so I had my own personal pool. Breakfast is free and has lots of options. Wifi works everywhere. The only con to this place would be the location, it's about 40 mins away from the airport and there's nothing to explore outside Sunset Coast so you will need a car/taxi

Stayed here for a friend's wedding held at Conrad (just 5 minutes ride away). Overall value for money, with a nice pool (albeit not big) and very good breakfast (not buffet and get a big variety). very friendly and helpful staff. downside - quite a remote location and it'll be a good 45 min ride to Chaweng area. shower is not working very properly and water is way too hot.

Wir haben als Paar neun angenehme Nächte in diesem Resort verbracht. Das gesamte Resort, unser Zimmer und der Pool waren makellos sauber. Das Personal war unermüdlich bemüht, alles blitzblank zu halten und den Gästen eine perfekte Atmosphäre zu bieten. Jeder einzelne Mitarbeiter war unglaublich höflich, zuvorkommend und freundlich. Wir sind nirgendwo auf unfreundliche Gesichter gestoßen und wurden immer herzlich begrüßt.

Leider hatten wir ein Problem mit unserem Flug und hätten unseren Anschlussflug in Bangkok fast verpasst. Das Personal an der Rezeption hat uns jedoch mit großem Einsatz geholfen, indem es sich mit der Airline in Verbindung gesetzt hat. Wir sind ihnen für ihre Hilfe sehr dankbar.

Insgesamt waren wir mit unserer Wahl dieses Resorts sehr zufrieden. Wer eine Reise nach Koh Samui plant, kann hier nichts falsch machen. Es ist jedoch wichtig zu wissen, dass das Resort ziemlich abgelegen liegt und der Strand nicht besonders einladend ist. Das Resort bietet jedoch kostenlose Shuttles zu den Stränden Lamai und Chaweng an, die einen hin und zurück bringen.

C’est un des très rares hôtels qui m’a surclassé en tant que membre Gold de Hôtels.com.
J’ai malheureusement eu un problème à mon oreille durant mon séjour, je remercie le service de la réception d’avoir régulièrement pris de mes nouvelles.
Dommage que tous les hôtels proposés par Hôtels.com ne soient pas tous de cette qualité là et respecte la charte Hôtel.com.

Wie hatten einen wunderbaren Aufenthalt! Zimmer, Service, Personal und Essen alles top. Leider liegt das Hotel nicht besonders gut gelegen, so dass man nur mit dem Auto/Roller in dir nahegelegenen Städtchen kommt. Das fanden wir schaden. Zudem gab es für Mittag- und Abendessen die gleiche Speisekarte. Irgendwann hatten wir das Essen gesehen. Trotzdem alles in allem gut!

Schönes Hotel, aber sehr weit außerhalb

Tolles Hotel, aber in naher Umgebung ist sehr wenig los. Wenn man Ruhe sucht, perfekt. Ansonsten ist ein Scooter unbedingt erforderlich. Der Strand ist nicht besonders schön, weil dort viele Boote liegen. Zum schwimmen lädt das leider nicht ein.

Traumhaftes Resort in sehr ruhiger Lage

Schönes Resort weit ab von Trubel und Rummel in dem man in wunderschönen privaten Villen mit eigenem Pool entspannen kann.
Das Personal ist extrem freundlich und hilfsbereit und geht auf möglichst alle Wünsche ein. Ausflüge und Aktivitäten werde nach Wunsch angeboten. Die einzigen Kritikpunkte waren für uns das etwas eintönige Frühstucksbuffet das bei einem längeren Aufenthalt mehr Abwechslung vertragen hätte und der Strand der wie schon oft erwähnt kaum nutzbar und durch die vielen Boote auch verschmutzt ist.
Ich würde mir ein Engagement für die Umwelt auch außerhalb des Hotels von Avani wünschen, nicht nur Papier-Strohhalme im Hotel, vielleicht auch Mal den Müll am Strand aufsammeln lassen.

บรรยากาศดี สงบ สามารถอยู่โรงแรมได้ไม่ต้องออกไปไหน แต่ค่อนข้างไกลจากที่ท่องเที่ยวดังๆในตัวเกาะสมุย
สิ่งอำนวยความสะดวกครบ ปตาอยากให้เพิ่มผ้าเช็ดเท้าในห้องน้ำ และในห้องนอนอีกซักหน่อย มีโอกาสจะกลับไปอีก
สระว่ายน้ำไม่ใหญ่แต่ก็สวยงามดี
