Great experience at Best Western Globus! Wonderful staff. Clean room. Excellent location. Good breakfast. Only problem was the internet speed, which got very slow at times.

The room I had needs some work, and to be fair they seem to be doing updating. The TV didn't work, and nor did the safe in the room, although Hassan kindly got the safe working on the first evening. The breakfast is still good and the breakfast team friendly and helpful. Rooms around the back are much quieter than the front although the room doors are thin. I've been staying here for years and overall, it's still good value for money. With the updates they're undertaking it should be back up to standard.

The hotel sanctioned a techno party on the roof that could be heard down at reception. We hardly slept we paid $356 Cdn for a balcony room and never got to enjoy it as the thumping vibrated our walls. Worse BW I’ve been ro worldwide. Staff was not friendly.

The staff is amazing- very friendly and professional.
Good location. Clean rooms and good beds.
The property needs a lot of maintenance. Elevators were down the whole visit. After first night at our original room on fifth floor using staff elevator, we had to move to first floor because it broke as well. New room had a lot of issues: very loud and noisy air conditioner fan (non-stop) made it horrible to sleep. Very weird rotten egg smell in the bathroom, and the main light didn’t work.

The room is spacious. The bathroom is also big which is unusual in other hotels we have stayed. We also have a corner balcony with the room. The hotel is walkable distance (less than 10 min walk) from a subway station. It is next to a local university and a hospital. Pretty quiet at night. There is also a piano in the lobby.

Unfortunately, our stay at this hotel in Rome was disappointing overall. While the location is convenient—just a short walk from Termini Station—there were several issues that made the experience uncomfortable.
•Wi-Fi was unreliable and inconsistent. It would work intermittently, and often not at all during certain times of the day.
•The room was extremely small, with barely enough space to move around.
•On our third night, there was no hot water. When we contacted reception, they said they had reset the system and it would take two hours to restore, but the issue remained unresolved for us.
•While the linens and towels were mostly clean, some of the pillowcases had visible stains, which was off-putting.
•The TV was very small and took up most of the counter space, leaving little room for personal items.
•The shower was uncomfortably tiny, making it difficult to wash properly.
•The room felt very outdated, and the entire hotel could really use a renovation.
•Beds were extremely firm, with hard mattresses and pillows that made it difficult to sleep comfortably.
•Walls were paper thin. We could hear everything from the rooms next door, which made for a very noisy and frustrating stay.
•There was complimentary water available in the lobby, but it was rarely refilled and often unavailable.
We did raise our concerns with the front desk. The staff was apologetic and kindly covered the cost of our return transport to the airport, which we appreciated.

The hotel was okay for the price. It’s located on a university campus so we were awoken by singing drunk people at 3am once. The showers are strange. If you have it on full blast, it overflows onto the floor. Refrigerator was not cold enough to keep anything in, and the adjustment knob was broken off. Beds were clean and comfortable and A/C works great. The staff down in the restaurant area didn’t seem very friendly when we were sitting outside the restaurant waiting for it to open. There was a coffee machine we were just about to use and they quickly rushed it away before we could. They could have waited a minute but did not acknowledge us at all. Also I witnessed while staff was restocking the coffee cart, a whole stack of cups fell on the floor and they were just put back on the cart for use.
Breakfast was pretty good, we ate it several times. And dinner was also good. Overall, it wasn’t horrible, but it wasn’t awesome… just average.

I liked a lot about this property. Friendly staff, clean, affordable, good room size with amenities. My only area of improvement would be that i found the breakfast limited. I have a chronic health issue which means i have to eat a low sugar, low fat diet. I thought the choices were very heavy on the fat/refined sugar, including the cakes
pastries, sausages, bacon, chocolate covered cereals and sugary yogurts. The breakfast option said there would be a variety of toast available but i found that in reality, it was only a basket of bread with no toaster facilities, so i was limited to the only plain cornflakes (which tasted really salty), bread and butter. I dont like to announce my illness to everyone and didn't think i would need to, as I prefer to do my own research and i thought your breakfast would be fine based on your booking description. Had i known how limited the breakfast would be, i wouldn't have paid for it and its a shame, because it could have been better with some very simple extras - some proper toast as advertised being one, perhaps more healthy cereal, natural yogurt, more fruit etc. The food you do have is lovely, my parter loved eating cake for breakfast every morning but there just wasnt enough sugar free alternatives for me, so i was left still feeling hungry and it was a waste for me. I cant fault the staff or food itself and we still loved our stay, but hoping this feedback will improve experiences for people like me in the future

We complained about the tub not draining a couple of times and the front desk said they’d have someone fix but no one came and it got worse and worse. The water was almost coming out of the tub when on for a minute or so.

Water and snack in lobby was great.
Room.was a bit small for 5. Sofa bed was not good it was lumpy and uncomfortable. So the 5th person didnt sleep well.

The area is very safe and clean.
Make sure to have dinner before you go to the hotel the area doesn’t provide restaurants.

The staff members were amazing! They were all very helpful! We checked in late, and they helped us find a place for dinner. They were very accomodating helping us luggage storage. The staff in the breakfast room were very fast, friendly and helpful. The entire property was very clean. I would highly recommend this hotel!

Great breakfast with the biggest Nutella we have ever seen, our daughter was excited! Colouring for kids, which was greately appreciated.

While the room was comfortable, the area around the hotel was a little \"sketchy\". Did not feel very safe walking around the area. Also there was the constant sound of sirens, which we later found out was because there was a hospital nearby. The hotel is not near any of the attractions, kind of out of the way. Breakfast buffet was good.

Staff were very friendly and helpful. We were initially put in a room that was very loud (could hear traffic and the rooms next door) but they happily moved us to a much better room. Overall the hotel is in a good location, has decent facilities but the rooms could do with some maintenance and a bit of an upgrade.

The air conditioning was not working on the floor/room while it was conveniently working in their lobby and they refused to provide an extra fan when we requested. We were forced to keep the windows open as it was very hot in the room. People were smoking in the next room and all the smoke was coming into ours. It was extremely uncomfortable to relax or sleep in this situation. In addition to this the wifi in the room was very poor quality and didn't stay connected.
We did not expect this from a hotel chain like Best Western. Extremely disappointed. Waste of money. Will never be staying at this hotel again.

Really Like The Globus and have stayed there before. We had a superb room on 5th floor .Unfortunately,the air conditioning had broken and it was uncomfortably hot.However, the hotel provided fans and offered more if required. Service was excellent.Would definitely stay there again.

I told the night clerk about it and instead of personally making sure it's fixed he just told me to let someone know tomorrow after breakfast. A different experience from previous visits

With new Covid rules our stay at Globus was always going to be different from our previous visits but must say almost everything went well, sanitiser at the entrance, face mask wearing required in public areas went well except on our last day while at breakfast a family of 4 arrived for breakfast and the youngest a boy aged about 8 clearly seemed beyond the control of his parents and failed to sanitise his hands at the entrance of the restaurant and then decided to wander around the breakfast area with a face covering using drink dispensers everybody else had followed the rules and allowed the staff get these to reduce the risk of cross contamination but it later became quite clear of why the child had little care following Covid advice when the father also thought it was fine for himself to wander around without a face mask and like his child helping himself which the staff had done for the rest of us, it’s a shame families like this have little regard to their duty and the hospitality industry has been through enough without all the progress being thrown away by selfish people, pic of the offender attached, other than this the Hotel provided an excellent service in difficult circumstances and hope that business gets back to the level it should be for this good hotel

Kami telah menggunakan hotel ini 3 kali, jadi setiap kami ke Rome kami nginap di Hotel Best Western Gloubus, karena harga tidak mahal dibandingkan dengan hotel lain di Rome. Di depan hotel ada Bus stop dan Tram stop Station Metro juga dekat, sehingga memudahkan untuk kita pergi. staion Termini juga hanya 6 stop dari Hoel ini. Staff nya sangat ramah dan sarapannya juga sangat banyak ragam dan enak. Di Loby ada fasilitas komputar yang dapat kita gunakan 24 jam serta kopi dan snack tersedia di Loby

Junior Suite or is it the Deluxe Room?

First, Globus needs to double check how they are promoting their rooms on hotel.com. What I reserved is not what I got. I did reserve a room with a King bed, corner room, etc. This was not what I got so I went back to the check-in desk and told them that I did not get the right room according to what i reserved. They told me that they gave me an upgrade. I showed them what i reserved and i was told that this was their junior suite and that is not what i booked. On the website the Junior Suite comes up as the Deluxe Room 1 king Bed. Which is what i reserved. I did not even get the suite with the King Bed that has a balcony. it was a room with a King bed that was hard as a rock! According to them ... my mistake, i need to ensure I reserved the Junior Suite. I also did not like waking up to a cockroach! The cappuccino were really great! The breakfast was really good if you like eating the same thing daily. I would not stay there again, ever.

I like the balcony view as well as the reusable soap dispensers. I also liked the complimentary breakfast. The receptionists were informative and helped us book travel to the airport as well as hailed taxis for us. I felt the check in times could be moved sooner in the morning rather than 2pm

Excellent place to stay in Rome with a family of 4 if you wish to book one room rather than 2, and you don't mind a short walk to the Metro (subway) through a university district. We took the Metro as well to Termini, although you could walk there if you wish, to connect via the train system. Breakfast was included in our rate and we all enjoyed it immensely to start off our days, complete with fancy coffees each morning and homemade jams!

The Globus was not in the location we expected. In addition, the amenities were not very great. The shower looked like it had mold in it and we had to leave the key in the door for the electricy to work.

When I asked about a water fountain lady receptionist asked me to get water from the washroom. Also after the first night I had to pay taxes $4 per person at checkout. But when I came back after 2 days they asked me to pay all my taxes 4 days in advance prior to check out. Also, when the receptionist check our passports he was asking several questions based on the uncertainty.The gentleman was not professional and keep talking to me in Italian. As a Canadian I felt so awkward. In addition, wifi was very poor in the room and every time had to come to lobby to make calls and send messages. Also same menu for breakfast everyday. Mattress was like a rock and pillows were not comfortable at all. Housekeepers were very kind and positive. I never go back to Best Western Globus due to their rude behaviours.

Room #403 experience less than nice: 1) bathroom is extremely narrow with mold/mildew around tub! 2) room #403 was next to a store room and we could smell the odor of ammonia in our room. We were very tired and had unpacked so we did not complain immediately. 3) the location of the metro was too far to walk for us seniors. My husband uses a walker. 4) I reserved 3 rooms for my family of 11. The other 2 rooms #409 and # 410 were adequate but also had mold problems!
I would not recommend this hotel to friends and family.
