Manager Mr Andrew is the worst of the lot. Appalling attitude and service.
This place is the biggest kids club in Thailand. Booked a beachfront villa. What a mistake.
Real shame as Thai hotels generally have attentive staff if nothing else.
This place is a 3 star hotel so be prepared for that. Not great when you have paid a premium for it.

Repeat guest here. Other than the slight delayed check-in, everything about the Pullman was as expected: professional, courteous staff, clean rooms, facilities and great atmosphere. The breakfast buffet is a SPECTACULAR!

Pullman Panwa is always my “go-to” resort: easily accessible to restaurants, and a great, peaceful place away from the busy/party areas.

Great value for money for a luxury resort in Phuket. The 2 infinity pools, pool bar and private beach were the highlights. Service and staff was outstanding. The room itself and hotel grounds were well maintained for a 20 year old property but its age did not go unnoticed. It is secluded and quiet, best to rent a car for accessibility to old town and the rest of the island. Plenty of parking on site

Bedside Light switch, hair dryer not working. Bathroom door cannot close. 1st night the shower drainage is clogged. Sent this list to hotel, they changed the hair dryer and unclogged the shower drainage.

Had buffet dinner at hotel, the BBQ meat and prawn is tough, need to ask chef to re-cook fresh. Not much selection at breakfast too.

Overall this hotel was good. The staff were good especially the pool and beach people, they were amazing. The breakfast was also incredible.
The main thing that let it down was the overall condition of everything. It’s just very tired in places and in much need of an update. There were bits falling off the bar roof by the pool and lots of things were broken. In our room hardly any of the light switches worked and we didn’t even want to go near the outside tub, it was just a bit grim.

For a 5-star hotel this expensive, this was a truly terrible experience. After two days of traveling, we arrived to find no towels in our room. It took five calls to reception before we got beach towels instead of regular towels. The next day, we were given only one towel for three people, and the day after, just two towels—still not enough for 3 of us.

The cleanliness was appalling. Our room had tiny ants crawling everywhere, and the bathtub was not cleaned properly, with hair all around the drain when we checked in. This level of hygiene is unacceptable for any hotel, let alone one at this price point.

Customer service was virtually non-existent. Every time I called to order room service, I was told someone would call back, but no one ever did.

When I tried to extend our stay while waiting for other accommodations, I called the day before and was told to call back later. The next morning, on the day of check-out, we were suddenly informed that the hotel was fully booked and had to leave immediately, with no prior notice. To extend our stay, I was casually advised to check a well known third party service for availability.

This hotel failed on all fronts—cleanliness, service, and communication. As an expensive hotel it was an absolute disappointment. I would never recommend staying here. Spend your money somewhere that values its guests and provides basic services.

Would not recommend coming here. Breakfast is too busy and you need to wait for a table, the beach is low-tied most of the time and there are no waves. The hotel is built on levels so from entry to the beach and back it is a hike.

Welcome drink was delish. They upgraded me to a villa with private pool. The room was spacious. The bed is too hard but room service came to add more bedding cushions which helped a little. Tamarind Thai Cuisine by far is the best upscale Thai food that I’ve had. Breakfast was good. Nice attentive staff. Nice quiet area. The beach has a beautiful view and was relaxing but has algae or slim. So didn’t go swimming or canoing at the beach. 10-15 min walk to a local night market at Cape Panawa where you can catch a beautiful sunset. Note: No side walk. I would definitely stay there again.

Booked this resort for my birthday trip and they prepared a room with birthday decor and a small cake to welcome me , that’s so so sweet !
Staff also very friendly, thoughtful, and they will fulfil your needs if possible.
They are complimentary stuffs campaign going on when you join member now.
I recommend this resort if you want to chill and a quiet area to stay. Around this area have very limited stores, and don’t have 7-11 nearby. From airport to this resort takes about 1hr plus with smooth traffic.

The hotel needs maintenance and renovation of facilities and furniture, raising the level of hygiene, and controlling insects such as mosquitoes and reptiles such as lizerd and frogs that are spread everywhere. I would and will never ever come back to your hotel again. Starting from the slow services. As soon as we entered the hotel we had to wait 30 minutes just to even talk to an employee in the reception. There was a free table and yet no one called us. I had to go up my self and explain my dissatisfaction for you to bring someone to check me in. And let's talk about the pool bar and restaurant services, the slowest I have ever seen. You ask for the easiest and quickest item on the menu at the pool bar which is water and it takes 15 minutes and multiple times of asking to receive it. Another thing is how bad the paying system is. Everytime we ordered something even if we were relaxing by the pool, they would bring the bill to sign everytime instead of just keeping your tab open. Another thing that was absolutely horrible - the rooms had a leak from the A/C and when we called to tell reception, they said they'll get on it and never did. Also, when we checked in we were supposed to receive our keys for both rooms but one was not ready, the reception lady that checked us in told me that as soon as the room was ready she would bring the key herself. Instead she didn't bring me anything and made me call reception 4 different times and on top of all of that, she told the baggage staff to put our baggage in the dirty room and we didn't have access to it till we received the key. Last but not least, a small tip from me, I understand that this is a family friendly resort, but you can make

1.
5 star hotel advertised a Mini bar - no mini bar, just an empty fridge. Not good for a 5 star hotel

2.
No towels around the upper pool - poor show

3. Some Drinks offered on restaurant menu were not available. Again poor for a 5 star hotel. Suggestion - don't put items on the menu which are not available.

As I said previously the working staff were brilliant but I think hotel management need to up their game.

The location is great, but the beach is not a pretty sight. During low tide it is very shallow and practically unusable for swimming. And worst; it's full of garbage.
The pools are ok, but generally not well maintained (tiles and tile joints looked dirty).
Rooms are nice and clean, but the bed was not comfortable (too hard, that's a matter of opinion, of course).
Food and drinks? Apart from the breakfast, not up to standard, and service is really slow. No, pop across the street to the Thai or Indian restaurants - much tastier and a lot cheaper.

Spent 4 lovely days at The Pullman and enjoyed every minute of it. Gorgeous beach hotel. Great breakfast with views over the ocean. The three swimming pools were perfect with plenty of sun beds for sunbathing. Staff were very friendly and served us well. Liked the FREE kayaking and paddle boat thought that was a nice touch.

The location is good and our rooms were very nice with a good view. In one of the rooms a pillow was dirty at check-in.
The real problem is service. Staff is eager and willing but with no experience. They completely ruin your experience. Buffet dinner is a shocker with no food and long queue for the little there is.

Extremely dirty beach with no one cleaning, poor maintenance:( roof over the bar has half fallen, the outside showers are rusted and leaking all over, the ramps on outside staircases have not seen a coat of paint for years, etc etc). Far from a 5 star hotel.

We checked in around 4PM, when we got the room I was expecting the aircondition would be turned on, or at least the hostess should turn it on for us when sending us to the room. We noticed that we need to turn it on manually when it started to feel hot. T\Not to mention about the TV in our room which was distorted and unclear color.

The service of recreational staffs could have been better, I felt not very guided and welcomed when attending the beach activities. However the room was spacious and clean. Pullman Arcadia Nai thon was much better.

Great getaway in Phuket

It was a wonderful stay in a beautiful resort. We were with a 4,5 months old baby and we had a good crib for the baby. Everyone working in the hotel are very friendly and helpful. Specially would like to highlight William who was all over the resort and was always checking on us if we are having a good time. I would definitely recommend this hotel for holidays.

The pool was great, the view as well, but the Sea was not useful during low tide so we almost never could go in to swim, however in 10 min away there are great beaches.

Pullmann Panwa always amazing. Beautiful hotel, extreme friendly and supportive staff. I wish I had more time to enjoy the property itself. My 6 year old son was im love with the facility. We had an Ocean view room with balcony. We were delighted to just sit there and relax. Best part of the trip was the restaurants both Aqua and Tamarind were excellent. Breakfast buffet was delicious. The staff was extremely friendly and always offer more and more food. Definitely will be back.

We've traveled as a family with 2 kids (14 yo, 23 yo). Overall we've enjoyed our stay. The hotel is modern & clean, pillows are the best, very good air conditioning, spacious balconies with a great view. We enjoyed playing volleyball, and morning yoga. Hotel Staff is nice and polite, not many speak good English.
We didn't like the nearby pier with big trade ships in our beach view. Beach is not impressive, water is not clear (probably everywhere in Phuket). Food in the hotel restaurants is overpriced especially breakfast (we were quoted around 800 baht per person). We ate at the TreeTop restaurant across from the hotel and the food was fantastic. Hotel taxi is overpriced as well, make deals with taxi across the street. If we come back we would book a hotel closer to Patong beach and Bangala road. We've really enjoyed all the live music there. Also Elephant sanctuaries are much closer if you stay near the Patong beach.

In a good and quiet location. Beautiful scenery.
But...we were so disappointed by the staff at the Aqua breakfast lounge. Unless you’re caucasian (white) do not expect hospitality & smiles from the staff. Even the restaurant super is a white guy. As Asians and being wealthy, need not accept this kind of discrimination. There are many more resorts in Phuket we can afford. I despise this sort of thing and ashamed of the Asian mentality towards the whites.

LOUD BLARING MUSIC at this hotel. If you are a discerning guest who is used to traditional 5 star hotels AVOID this one. Maids are also noisier than most. Flooring of hotel tiles in public areas is tired and dull or not up to five star standard in my opinion.
Bedroom was comfortable enough (although lacks wardrobe doors!) and spa facilities were good. Service overall was ok. It would be nice to have two bars of soap in the room because it is annoying having to ferry the one bar of soap backwards and forwards between shower and wash basin...not the usual five star hotel one expects, imho.

Location was great and secluded with lots of privacy.
Service was average.

Rooms were terrible as such: the main door handle was broken and not functioning properly, curtain handle was held in place with a made shift ring holder that kept falling out, bath tub plunger was broken and could not be used.

When we paid extra for the sea view, we were utterly disappointed as our room view was blocked by another building and trees. We only had partial view of seaside.

Overall I would say Pullman should step up their game as this one experience Is enough to tell the standard of the hospitality and facilities

Private beach was nice and the resort itself is ascetically pleasing. The food was ok but not exceptional for the price.

Unfortunately we had several complaints that were not remedied during our stay or at check out. Each time we approached staff with our primary issue (we booked the most expensive suite for the view - only to have a window so dirty every morning and evening the dew would cause it to completely fog over obscuring our view), we were simply dismissed with weak excuses and “oh so sorry s”. This was most dis-satisfactory and insulting.

Other complaints housekeeping very late every day - most days close to 5pm. Several times we were back in the room - this is awkward and unplesant. Housekeeping did not take away dirty glasses with old milk for two days (we finally checked out they were still in the room) though they moved them during cleaning.

Equipment that is available for use during high tide is old and in disrepair. Stand up paddle board was actually and old windsurfer with the sail removed!!

Really no value for the expensie of this resort.

Check in process was easy. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. The view from the lobby area to the pool is quite beautiful. The hotel staff helped us exchange our cash to Thai Baht, they helped us quickly book a motor scooter, find the night market and overall make for a comfortable stay. We only spent one night here. Unfortunately we arrived at a time of low tides and were not able to swim at the beach but we did enjoy the pool.

could you please call me on 07506319078 ASAP. As the ceiling panel. A 3 foot by 2 foot piece of ceiling panel fell from the roof of our room and caught my female friend on the shoulder. we were given an upgraded room. But the manager would only speak to us at breakfast and dinner. where I couldn't express my views openly. My friend was lucky not to be hurt badly. I have photos of the hole in the ceiling and the panel which fell out. My friend suffered from shock and we moved to another hotel at quite an extra expense for 3 days until my friend felt relaxed enough to return to the pullman

I've stayed at Pullman's all over the world and it seems something is lacking at this location. Check-in is at 2pm. I showed up at 2:30 pm and my room wasn't ready. I paid extra for a deluxe sea view and I received probably the worst room on the property with a sea view - the view was obstructed by the poolside restaurant roof.

On top of all that, I'm pretty sure I got food poisoning at the restaurant. I ordered the braised rib for dinner and it was rubbery and tasted like it was microwaved. I had a few bites before losing my appetite. Then woke up in the night violently ill.

There are better options within this area of Phuket that I would recommend.

My husband and I stayed for 2 nights and loved it!! Very clean other than ants in our bathroom, which the resort can’t exactly control. The pools were beautiful and the food was delicious. Loved the different options for food. We played beach volleyball, paddle boarded, and soaked up lots of sun- very relaxing and exactly what we needed.

A nice holiday weather decent for November disappointed with certain aspects of the hotel and surrounds.Small things like rusty tap in bathroom dirty stained ceiling in shower shower head spraying water in all directions soaking the floor.In general the hotel is quite rundown,lots of repairs need to be done to the property.One of my biggest disappointments was the beach,the tide when out was about 200 yards away,when in you could wade out a 100 yards and still be no deeper than mid-high depth.

Best Priced Room with Private Pool & Sea View

Arguably the best value for money for anyone interested in having a room with private swimming pool and sea view in Panwa Phuket. During high tide the resort transforms into a tropical paradise, just like in the pictures. Room was very comfy, and staff very friendly. Also strategically located nearby all the restaurants and shops in Cape Panwa.

Only downside is the beach view will look outright horrible during low tide and there's a big issue with mosquitoes (which the resort staff really need to do something about). Also, if you're looking for an ultra luxurious vacation, Pullman Panwa is quite basic compared to Amatara next door.

Security is good with eateries nearby. Taxi is abit steep tho due to the hotel location but with good activities for holiday makers. A land of thousand smiles indeed, keep it up guys!

The only thing I was disappointed was the excursion to Phi Phi island. The snorkel session was was so short and all I see was dead colourless corals. They should have brought us out to deeper waters! A suggestion would be to perimeter all boarded snorkellers within the area so we do not miss which was our boat!

We loved this hotel and staff. We showed up a few hours before check in, with no notice to the hotel, and we were in our room within 15 minutes. Actually, we weren't in the room we booked, but were upgraded to a room with a private pool! The food was pretty good, and my girlfriend and I were surprised at how much we liked the pizza. We definitely didn't expect to have pizza in Thailand. The beach was beautiful and our room was awesome. We would definitely go back.

I stayed at the Pullman Panwa for only one night. I wanted to experience the Andaman Sea side of Phuket. Wow what a difference. I traveled during low season so I was surprised to see how far the tide rolled out. Luckily the hotel pool was my favorite of my whole trip. I would stay there again just for the pool! Once the tide came back the next morning I was able to use the hotel kayak to enjoy being out on the sea. It was worth it! The hotel’s private beach was peaceful and relaxing. The breakfast buffet was really good. Any hotel that offers fresh noodle soup for breakfast is alright with me. The poolside cafe is good too. The staff was very helpful and friendly too. The property is beautiful. There is lots to do, and plenty of space to relax outside of your room. The staff is incorporating new social gathering events at the lobby bar. Such a good idea to make use of the beautiful space. The property has a lot of stairs and inclines, so be aware if you have any challenges walking. The Junior Suite room was nice, and the bathroom was huge with a large dressing area. I will definitely go back during high season, and spend more time at the hotel.

A lovely room with sunrise views

This is a gorgeous hotel on a nice private beach. From my arrival to departure, I couldn’t fault it. The staff were friendly, efficient and accommodating. I had a lovely Seaview room which they quickly prepared for me when I arrived early. The room was large with a comfortable bed, a separate shower and a bathtub that had views through the room out to the vista and I loved the balcony with its comfortable furniture and stunning views across the bay. Sunrise was spectacular!
My drinks at the pool bar were strong and enjoyable and I had a delicious meal at the Tamarind restaurant. Coffee at the lobby bar was also good and I had a nice Cobb salad on my sun lounger at the beach for lunch.
My only warning is to be prepared for very steep Phuket taxi prices. I only had one night in Phuket to see friends and planned just to stay at the resort so it was perfect but Cape Panwa is not a base to choose to see Phuket.

Great hotel in a quiet location.

We only stayed at this hotel for two nights prior to departing for the islands. The hotel is located in the Panwa region which is about 60 minutes from the airport and 30 minutes from Rassada Pier. While there is not much in walking distance of the hotel, there are a number of places to eat a five minute taxi away (which are great value for money). The staff were extremely friendly and always looking to help. Room was clean and of a good standard. My only disappointment was in the beach, the water was not clear and the beach was quite Shelly, as such we spent most of our time in the pools (which were great).

Amazing ambiance and Staff

When we checked in, all of the staff at the counter were busy, so a charming young woman came up to us and ushered us to a sitting area where she handled the check-in very efficiently. We were served a cold beverage and felt very welcomed. We were given a map and a tour of the facility as we were ushered to our room.

The common area of the main building was open to the sea, and the breezes blew in to cool us off. The whole compound was bright and airy,smelling of sweet jasmine throughout. The jasmine trees were in bloom, as were the Bird of Paradise plants. AMAZING. The room was large, bright and well-appointed. The balcony gave us a great view of the Andaman Sea.

We didn't hit the right tide schedule, but the pools were great, including the swim-up bar in the infinity pool. there were plenty of lounges and umbrellas,and the staff was diligent about keeping the area welcoming and clean after people who just left their junk behind.

There was a schedule of activities every day for those who would partake, including a schedule for children. There were multiple restaurants onsite if you chose to dine in, some themed, others not. The breakfast buffet in the Azure restaurant was excellent. Both indoor and al fresco dining were available.

We would definitely stay here again. While not inexpensive, the resort atmosphere and relaxing pace made it worth it. It is away from the bustle of Phuket Town, which is a taxi ride away, if you choose to go in for a show.

Lovely hotel with private beach and amazing staff

I had a lovely time at Pullman’s with my husband and 4 years old. Hotel had nice facilities but the enjoyment was mainly contributed by the wonderful helpful staff. We also made use of the kids club which was a free service offered to their guest. I was able to get a couple hours of me time everyday knowing that my son was being well cared for.

Great resort with a private beach. It is situated away from the busy city centre; an hour away from the airport.
Staff were polite and always happy to help with queries. Rooms were cleaned daily.

A safe, clean, and relaxing resort!

The service in this hotel is great! The staff are warm and welcoming.
The rooms are clean, slightly worn, but are large and open. The beds and pillows aren’t great. The first night I had to singles pushed together and they were at different heights. After requesting a move, the bed was better but not that comfortable.
The pools are beautiful! However they need a little bit of TLC.
The gym is great, but they need to supply cleaning liquids as nothing is wiped down afterwards.
The restaurant and room service are amazing. Drinks were great too!
There are some great restaurants opposite and some good Massage shops. You can also walk down the hill and there are some street food trucks which were really popular.
I was really happy that I stayed here as it is really a nice hotel, but not the most luxurious.

Great place to truly relax

Facilities inside and outside were excellent and well cared for. Good variety of restaurants, pharmacy and small grocery across the street. Location is somewhat isolated from Phuket town but still easily accessible. Hotel has some free shuttles for shopping and another to the night market for a small fee. A great place if you want to get away and relax. Beach isn't much but is clean.

Peace and quiet by the beach

Nice hotel with great staff in a quiet out of the way spot. Great sea views from room. Small secluded shallow beach as well as 2 outdoor pools and kids pool with a small slide. Nice breakfast with indoor or outdoor seating. Hotel is clean but looks a little dated in parts that could do with a freshen up. Try to get a room away from the road though.

Not 5* apart from the location!

This hotel is in a beautiful and quiet location but that is the only thing that is 5*! The building is old and backs onto a fairly busy road so if you are in one of the rooms it is quite noisy.
The staff are friendly and welcoming but the service for food and beverages is beyond slow. Breakfast was the worst time when the staff simply couldn't cope and yes it was busy but far from being at full capacity. It took 40 minutes to get a coffee most days, there would often be a shortage of glasses for juice and food items would be empty until we found a member of staff and asked for more. The actual quality of the food was very good. Ordering drinks from the pool bar also took up to 30 minutes to arrive.
We booked a sea view junior suite for our stay, which we were happy to pay a little extra for in order to see the sea. Our room front opened out onto the busy road and the rear view was that of a roof and a partial sea view from an angle. When I enquired at the reception desk I was told that due to a conference all the seaview rooms were occupied. I found this very disappointing and the manager suggested an upgrade to a villa at a reduced rate. These 'villas' were beach front, full sea view and away from the road so much more what we were expecting. Despite the fact that we had not budgeted for this we chose to pay for the upgrade.
We enjoyed our stay due to the beautiful beach, amazing weather and the beach front 'villa'. Would I go back? No!
