Nice central hotel, parking not great.

The hotel is very nice, comfortable rooms, good breakfast and great location right near the main pedestrian area and an easy walk to all of the sights. The first room we were given was directly opposite the lift and we could here the constant whirring of the lift going up and down, door opening and closing, and people coming and going. We were staying for three nights so asked to move the next day and that was not a problem, we had a nice quiet room for the next two nights. The hotel has an underground car park which has an entrance around the corner. It is very tight for space. Larger cars seemed to get preference for spaces near the entrance. Because we had a small car we were directed through a very narrow gap between columns to a space where only small cars could fit. We left the car there the whole stay. On leaving it took all of my skill and patience to extract the car from the space without damaging it (it was a rental car). Virtually no room to turn in, and passing by columns with mirrors folded in and a couple of inches clearance each side. Not a great experience, and it cost 15 euros a night. Otherwise Cartegena is a lovely clean place with loads of Roman and Moorish ruins and a really interesting history. Worth a visit!

Convenient to places of interest

This is a good hotel and situated just off the pedestrian shopping area and close to the places of interest. I have stayed here before and would recommend it. Parking is available but limited (and small) spaces but there are plenty of public car parks 5 minutes walk away. If you have breakfast it is basic but fresh.

Comfortable hotel. Very convenient to walk into the city and to other attractions. Excellent breakfasts - best we have had in Spain so far. Friendly, efficient staff. Underground, secure parking nearby at €15 per day. We will definitely stay again next year.

Rather disappointing hotel but clean

A bit disappointed with this hotel. The room was clean but the bed was hard and rather uncomfortable. Sauna and bar were both closed. Air con didn't work properly and was too hot to sleep so we called someone to come and have a look if it could be fixed and the guy wouldn't even come into the room to see what it was like. Ended up with us having to ask to switch rooms as he didn't come up with any other solution. Area is nice though and the other girl on reception was dry friendly.

FOUR-STAR ACCOMODATIONS

Three-night stay. Four-star hotel with everything as described in advertising. Just a bit away from the heart of the tourist district which is a good thing. You still get street noise, but it is more atmospheric than annoying. Very good gym facility, but it was closed on Sunday. Regardless of the reason and despite the continuing Sunday closures of everything throughout Spain, guests who exercise also exercise on Sunday. An \"international\" hotel should think about accommodating their international clientele.

The Hotel is very Central to the Town and only a short walk from all the Historic sites in Cartagena. There was no bar facilities available during our stay but that wasn't a problem for us. The Spa facilities were excellent and the breakfast was reasonably good but the hot food was not great.

We enjoyed the overnight stay at this hotel, very pleasant receptionist but breakfast waitress was very slow in replenishing the table.
The hotel & room was very clean& comfortable but if it had been very hot the air conditioning was not very efficient.

Comfortable Clean Hotel in an ideal place to visit Cartagena's Attractions. Is minutes walk to the port and it's shops and bars. Parking at hotel although not the cheapest we felt was worth it and is secure.
Only thing that let's it down is the bar opposite that closes at 6am on Sunday Morning! So a good nights sleep on Saturday night is virtually impossible! Would I stay again? Possibly but not on a Saturday night!

Good hotel, central location. We have stayed at this hotel before, on both occasions the bar was closed. Also the gym is closed in August, the booking details make no mention of this. The check in is efficient but not very welcoming. Breakfast is basic but adequate. Car parking, very small bays, 15 euro per night. Overall the hotel is good value for money. Would stay again.

An enjoyable stay

Good hotel. Met our expectations. Located immediately adjacent to an excellent pedestrian shopping mall. Difficult to find by car as GPS was confused by hotel's exact location. It would get to about 2 blocks from the hotel and then send us around in a circle again. Not an uncommon occurrence in many European cities. Had to ask a cab driver for precise location of hotel. Otherwise, an enjoyable stay.

One night visit to Cartagena to attend the annual Jazz Festival. Hotel was centrally located and had parking but we could not use the parking facility as our car was too high. The nearest parking which was suitable was only a 5 minute walk away. As we didnt use the restaurant facilities I cannot comment on them. The Hotel was clean and comfortable

Really nice hotel in the centre

We stayed here to meet up with friends for a long weekend break. The Hotel was lovely and the rooms a good size and decorated to a very high standard. All shops, restaurants and tourist attractions were all in close proximity which meant we could go on foot rather than the use the car.

The worst hotel ever

I have stayed in many hotels in different countries but this one was the worst of all!
Staff doesnt speak good Englsih to understand what you want.
Room airconditioner is not working well.
Glasses of windows are inadequate! All the noise outside is inside the room and it is not possible to sleep or rest.
There is no slipper in rooms. When you want it, they even dont know what slipper is!
For this hotel, room price is exorbitant, cause it is like a 2 or max 3 star hotel...

Great spa hotel in city centre

The room was very comfortable, lacking only for tea/coffee making facilities. There was an excellent spa and small gym on site. We stayed on a Saturday night and being in a busy town were kept awake until about 4 AM by the locals in a bar on the street below. Not the fault of the hotel though double glazing might have helped.

Hard beds, good breakfast, good location.

This is an almost-N. American-standards hotel with big rooms and large bathrooms, and a great breakfast buffet if the usual Spanish cup of coffee and churro isn't enough for you. But these folks don't eat eggs, so those are boiled into golf balls; 'skip them or ask for some fried up for you. Beds are very firm and perhaps too much so for some. The Wifi was free when I stayed, but logging in again was required every couple of minutes. Staff showed no interest in solving that, although I contacted their Wifi provider who was eager to help.

Everything is good in this Hotel, although it doesn't strike you as top of the line Hotel.

Location is great. Staff is quite friendly, it depends who you talk to.

O principal inconveniente foi o elevador, apenas um funcionava, e era pequeno e lento. Para não perder tempo eu usava as escadas, mas para chegar e sair com as malas, tinha que pegar o elevador. Na saída, estávamos em 5 pessoas, e levamos mais de 15 minutos para que todos conseguissem descer com as malas, pois não cabiam todos, e demorava a voltar, por ter outras pessoas utilizando.

Pelas fotos o interior do hotel parecia mais novo, mas apesar da aparência de velho, todo o resto funcionava, exceto o elevador.

Check-in e check-out rápidos, e bom atendimento na recepção.

Pænt hotel, middelmådig service

Kom et kvarter for tidligt til indtjekning da Hotels.com havde en anden tjekind tid end hotellet. Blev irettesat over at vi kom for tidligt, og i det hele taget var receptionisterne (M) ret uhøflige. Adskillige andre gæster blev betjent mens receptionisten var i gang med at tjekke os ind. Dertil fejlinformation om parkeringsmuligheder grundet forkerte kort-anvisninger, og derefter at hotellet ikke informerede parkeringskælderen, så vi blev smidt ud første gang vi kørte ned i hotellets p-kælder og måtte tilbage til receptionen.
Dertil var spa og fitness lukket om søndagen men på hjemmesiden stod der ikke noget om søndagslukket. Da det var en af grundene til at vi havde valgt hotellet var det ret skuffende
Værelset var pænt, stort og godt indrettet, men der var (mange) lange sorte hår på badeværelsesgulvet og i badekarret (vi er lyshårede).

Muchos de los clientes del hotel iban de boda, y durante toda la noche se oían los portazos que pegaban a su llegada, lo que no permitía conciliar el sueño a pesar de lo estupenda que es la cama.
Muy cómodo en cuanto a la situación, en pleno centro.
