Great check in, kindly offered the choice of 2 rooms. Good size, spotlessly clean room with fridge & desk. Very convenient for the airport & although on a busy intersection the room was quiet. Little food choice but adequate. Heloful staff.

The room was comfortable and had a mini fridge and valuables safe. Staff mostly spoke good or passable English. Dining options were limited, but not unexpected in the middle of the off season. Plenty of places to eat in the retail park on the other side of the industrial estate. Very convenient for the airport and motorway network, but not so for the waterfront or old city centre.

Let down by poor bedding

Generally everything was great. Staff were friendly and helpful, modern facilities and very clean room. However, the bed! There was a solid and uncomfortable mattress protector - or such like. Basically, it felt like sleeping on a thick plastic sheet. Not pleasant.

Overall this is a great budget friendly property.
I was surprised by the lack of readily walkable eateries. No on site restaurant.
The few that were interesting online require reservations and I was unable to get reservations on same day.
Bus service is a sparse; so getting into Cartagena city center is challenging unless you take a taxi.
Also the beds are very hard and the standard double room is two twin beds pushed together. I had an issue with the two sliding apart while trying to sleep.

Stayed recently at Posadas and had a very enjoyable time. The hotel is well situated for access to Cartagena and close to motorway links.
The rooms are well maintained, clean and the majority of staff were helpful and friendly.
The breakfast buffet is basic, however provided enough options for everyone.
Would highly recommend this hotel if visiting the Cartagena or local area.

Convenient hotel, clean , but bed very hard.

Hotel very convenient to Cartagena and also shopping Mall. Hotel and room very clean, BUT BED VERY VERY HARD, I think the cushioned laminated floor in the room had more give. We visited mid week, the bar had a nice ambience and the prices where excellent.

We enjoyed the friendly staff of Posadas de España en Cartagena, Spain. We had two rooms and the value was great, clean and comfortable rooms, free parking and location was just great. Less than 5 minutes driving from hotel is a mall with great options for tourists.

Very disappointed in a few points, we found that only a couple of staff we came across could speak English.
The restaurant did not open until 8.30 pm, closed at 10.30pm, very limited menu, No English menu, we had to use an online translate page as no one in the restaurant could explain anything to us.

Hotel was clean and good value for money. Close to motorway but not noisy and 15 min drive to main tourist area in Cartagena. Shopping mall a few minutes drive away,

Reception were very friendly and welcoming. We came in late and as restaurants were closed they kindly helped us order a pizza for delivery as we don't speak Spanish.

Helpful staff. Hotel clean and quite comfortable but in an industrial area. Breakfast adequate although 'hot' items could have been hotter. We were disappointed that the bar/ restaurant was not open Friday, Saturday nor Sunday evening. We could not find a restaurant close by which was open either. Aldi, a short walk away, came to our rescue.

Hotel very clean and looks smart. Beds were rather firm, could have done with a bit more give in them. Fridge in one room wasn't working and the mini-bar was non existent. Glad I have a travel kettle and took our own drinks for evening as bar not open on weekends.
Out of the way for Cartagena visiting but good if you only want an over night stay before moving on. It is a hotel for business people really, not so much for holiday makers.
Breakfast was not great for €8 had better for less in other hotels in the area.
Overall a good place to stop overnight but being out of the way I wouldn't try and have a holiday there.

Arrived at hotel late as we missed turn off to hotel,arrived & 10.30 & bar was closed & never opened again for the remainder of our stay,only food option was breakfast,extremely basic,beds were the worst I've ever slept in.i never realised when I booked this it was on an indrustial estate ! With no amenities in walking distance,didn't find the staff helpful,dirty cups & overflowing ashtrays outside was shocking,wouldn't recommend this hotel

There was no parking when we arrived as the lot was full. They said we could pay seven extra euros to park under ground. The room was large and clean but had no hot water, only luke warm. Breakfast was fair. Hotel in very industrial area near a shopping mall. They did not adjust cost for lack of hot water, just said so sorry.

Great service at the hotel and friendly staff. The food served at the hotel was the best I had tasted for this type of hotel and plenty of it. Great value for money. Close to the motorways and easy access but quiet. Cafeterias close by but not much in the way of shops. Great for business trips although Cartagena was only 5-7 minutes away.

Clean but soulless

The hotel is on a big industrial/retail estate outside Cartagena. We chose it because it was the cheapest for the night, but I knew it was a short (2min) drive to the retail/leisure park where we could eat out (Cotton Grill, La Tagliatella, McD, NamNam, tapas, Mr Wok). It is a bit of a soulless place, but it's a business hotel really.
The room was spotlessly clean and the bathroom a pleasant surprise, but the bed was rock hard with only one pillow each - not a very comfortable night's sleep at all. No tea/coffee facilities in the room but I didn't expect them as it's Spain. TV and aircon/heater worked, and a safe and minibar, but I didn't open it to see if it was stocked.
Overall good for the money paid.

One night in Cartegna

Great place to stay en-route to Almeria.it was much further out of town than I had realised and was in an industrial park.so nowhere to walk.
We had stopped off in the old part of Cartegna earlier in the day and wished that we had booked a Hotel downtown..
Otherwise the Hotel was very good,Julia in particular,who gave us great directions in English when our GPS broke down!
Very good service in the Hotel and a good buffet breakfast.

What more can you ask of a hotel in a commercial area.
Could have done with another pillow.
As a tourist it was only a short drive to centre/marina where there were several car parks.

A good cheap option

We booked it because of the low price and got good value for money. The facilities are good - the room is clean and has good wi-fi, and there is a decent gym. There is a large shopping mall 5 minutes drive away with plenty of places to eat. Cartagena is also 5 minutes away by car. La Manga is about 20 minutes.

The customer service was excellent, the receptionist Ghabi was wonderful, drew us hand maps along with the surroundings map for our convenience to visit the beach and the local shopping area. Nice place to stay

This hotel is a direct shot into Cartagena by car. They have lots of parking, so that is also great. The rooms were clean, the shower had great pressure, the food in the restaurant was good, and the staff was friendly.It is right off of the freeway in a business zone, so there is not a lot to do there, but we didn't choose it for that reason. We were pleased with our stay.

Exactly what it says on the tin!

The hotel is very stylish indeed located incongruously on the edge of an industrial estate. We realised this from the reviews so were happy to proceed. What wasn't mentioned was that there was no evening meal available at the weekends. We were directed to a massive shopping mall 10mins walk away which had every nationality of food available, except Spanish! The hotel price was great and if bored there is a lap dancing club round the corner!! Very obviously a business hotel but immaculate.

Stop-over Hotel

The hotel is modern, clean & comfortable. WIFI works just fine. We used this hotel as a stop-over from Granada to Valencia (kind of sight-seeing). The hotel is located just outside of Cartagena in a nothing special industrial area. Not really much in the way of conveniences around here, although, there was a super mercado just up the street and a Macdonald's restaurant. If you are in transition and want a quiet respite in a trusted environment, then this could be for you.

Good choice of hotel for airport stopever

This hotel, when you find it, is an ideal stopover before or after flying from San Javier airport. Although situated extremely near the CT32 and the entrance to a multiude of shopping centres and industrial centres it did not hamper our one night stay. The food choice in the restaurant was limited but was extremely good quality, in fact, it far exceeded our meal in the Parador de Lorca and the price was less than half!
