The hotel is situated in the main square of the picturesque town of Sóller. Just next door, guests will find numerous bars, restaurants and shopping streets.
The tram stops for the Port of Sóller and the train to Palma are also close by. It is just an 8-minute drive or 20-minute journey on public transport to the beach.
Palma de Mallorca Airport is approximately 30 km from the hotel. The hotel is set in a unique building, built in 1907 and recently refurbished with the utmost respect for its original decor.
It is fully air-conditioned and comprises a total of 8 guest rooms. On the ground floor, guests will find the reception, a cafe-restaurant and a dining room, exclusively for the use of hotel guests.
At the rear of the property there is a garden filled with palm trees, flowers and greenery, where guests can relax and enjoy a moment of peace. Further facilities include a hotel safe, a cloakroom, a bar, WLAN Internet access, room and laundry services and cycle hire.
All of the rooms are quiet and offer effective heating/air conditioning, along with a fully fitted en-suite bathroom. 4 of the rooms look out over the garden and the other 4 are on the main square, with wonderful views of the cathedral and the surrounding mountains.

This is one worst places I have stayed, no better than 2* hotel at 4* prices, with 1970s decor. No bar or place to sit, desk in another building, hot water that goes off, terrible access up a million dangerous unlit steps, no tea or coffee facilities, noisy early in the morning, paper thin walls, no phone, no contact with reception in the other building, TV that doesn’t work, no access to drinking water or any provided, drains that stink, unsafe electrics, no parking - just municipal parking miles away. This is not accurately described on hotels.com - which is probably the biggest problem - and many many fake reviews. 3 nights was 3 nights too many. This was a terrible stay - the worst. I feel embarrassed I’ve made my wife stay here. I was on to hotels.com in the middle of the first night but they couldn’t / wouldn’t do anything and no one at the hotel was available.

Beautiful, old, Art Nouveau hotel in the main square of Soller. Really comfortable room, large bed, good air conditioning and big bathroom with highpowered shower. Even though we were overlooking the square, the room was quiet. Restaurant was excellent (we ate on the square) with helpful waiting staff. Only negative is that there isn't a lift which may be difficult for people with mobility issues.

The penthouse apartment is a joke! Absolutely shocking property with ice cold and smelly bathroom. Need to climb 3 stories in an old dark building.

Overall it was fine. I didn't like the fact that I had to climb stairs and that there was a bathtub in the bathroom, as it's not really necessary and I think it's outdated. The restaurant is very good, but it didn't serve breakfast.

Property location right in the central square was wonderful. Lots of access to shopping and dining right outside the front door and the view of the church and the bank was spectacular. The room had lots of old world charm with wood trim, high ceilings, actual brass keys and antique fixtures. The staff was very nice and helpful. However, the parking is described as limited parking on-site when there is no parking on site and the nearest parking is a very busy pay lot that is downhill from the hotel about a 10 minute walk with your bags. Also the mattress was too firm for me, making it difficult to sleep.

The hotel was in an ideal location, the room was clean and comfortable, but most appreciated was the helpful and friendly staff. The hotel La Vila also includes a fine kitchen and garden dining, where we had one of the two best meals in Mallorca (the other, of equal, not better, quality was at an internationally acclaimed five-star hotel.)

Great little find. We booked the 6 person apartment for 2 of us because it was the only room that was left. This was great because it wasnt in the main hotel but in a separate building on the square which we loved. It was an amazing location, although up 3 flights of steep stairs for anyone who is not so mobile take this in to account! The staff were lovely and the breakfast was great considering it was included. The only thing I would say is that a few extra touches might have been nice for the money. There was no drinks station and I think if there's been 6 of us, a kettle/coffee machine/wine glasses may have come in handy. The furniture and decor was all very basic as well. This didnt bother us and we were very happy with our stay, but it's nothing fancy. The shower is great and the bed very comfy. Would definitely stay again, could just add some more details for the money perhaps.

This is the fourth time we have stayed here. It’s a lovely small and quaint hotel set right in the middle of Soller. From the town you can walk to Fornalutx and also to Port de Soller. There are lots of lovely little shops and plenty of bars and restaurants. The food in the hotel is excellent and breakfast on the square really fills you up for the day. Highly recommended! A little tip, the bus from Palma is 2 euros 40 cents. A round trip by the train is 32 euros but of course is much more senic!

The stay at Hotel La Vila was exceptional ! The service was beyond my expectations, and the rooms were clean and well cared for. As for location, we were right in the center of Soller; and near cafes and activities of the town. The food offered by the hotel was varied and abundant.All in all, a truly memorable experience.

If you love quaint, historical properties with great service, you'll love this place. We only stayed one night but wish we had stayed longer. We had chosen earlier to move to the beach area of Soller but found the town to be charming and less touristy, which we like. This hotel is very quiet and clean and right on the main town square. Perfect location! Local farmers market is only 2 blocks away on Sundays. They offer a delicious breakfast (ours was included for free with the reservation) and have a full bar as well for the evening. We had a very late check in and they were very accommodating and pleasant. I highly recommend this hotel over others in the area and the charm of an old building is a plus. Our room was spotless and quiet. Great view over the garden too! Hope to get back!

Only downside is limited parking nearby and the noise from the busy square and the quite but audible bells every 15mins from the church opposite may be a bother to light sleepers facing the square.

The hotel is within the central square of Soller, so a great location. We stayed in the apartment which is in a different building, up several flights of steep stairs so if you struggle with stairs, it's not ideal.
The apartment itself consists of three bedrooms, a lounge area and a bathroom. Although it's very spacious, it is very dated and actually makes it look a little bit dirty.
The bathroom is very spacious, but again could benefit from modernisation.
Overall not a bad stay, but you're paying for the location.

The hotel is actually 8 rooms above a cafe/restaurant with no formal check in desk. On arrival there was confusion about our booking. Staff were very friendly and helpful, the view from our room was great and the square facing the hotel is charming. Unfortunately hot water to our room was erratic and on several occasions no water at all. The views from the french doors were wonderful however the ventilation chimney terminated just to the left of them so lots of strong cooking smells. Although the room was made up daily the bedding didn't smell very fresh and again the towels were changed frequently but were certainly past their prime.
In short Soller is a lovely and the hotel is in a great spot but these irritations led us to check out 2 days early. A real shame as we otherwise enjoyed our visit.

I stayed here for one night, which coincided with the Fiesta de Fuego - Festival of Fire - so I had a perfect view of all the fireworks from my balcony overlooking the main square. Really friendly staff, comfortable rooms with good aircon, nice bathroom. Stunning Modernista building.

Great little hotel in terms of location. Be aware all guest rooms are up several flights of stairs - there is no lift. Their restaurant was closed on the night we were there - but there are several great places to eat on the little square.

Stayed here for 3 nights in October, Location amazing! Warm, friendly but informative greeting from Sylvia, and a welcome drink on the house. Beautiful furniture, decor and tilework in all rooms and staircase. Efficient breakfast routine - ate in the beautiful dining room as it was chilly and wet. Staff lovely. Good procedure for early departure and cold breakfast provided.

It's worth mentioning that my room (the studio) was actually in a separate building from the hotel. Although this suited me well, and afforded excellent views over the mountains, it was a long, steep climb up three flights of stairs, and that might not suit everyone.

Very nice 'old fashioned grandeur' hotel on the main square in Soller. Didn't use the restaurant as I wanted different tapas style options while travelling alone, but it looked fine. Go for one of the rooms overlooking the square. Although I wasn't there at high season, I don't expect the noise would be too much of an issue, and the opportunity to sit on a smallish balcony and enjoy people watching more than compensates.

The hotel is in a lovely old town house of the local style in the centre of the town. All the bars and restaurants are very near, as are the shops and market. The staff were friendly, helpful and obviously proud of their hotel.The hotel has tables and chairs in the main square so meals can be taken there or inside the restaurant or garden at the back. We were surprised how much choice there was at breakfast - expecting coffee and croissant - but you could have chosen something different each day for at least 2 weeks! It was all prepared and cooked to order. We had an evening meal there too, which was delicious, pricier than most of the other places so a special treat.Our room was at the back of the hotel overlooking the garden with a lovely view each morning. Rooms are not big but comfortable and well equipped - a hairdryer that actually worked ! We were there for 4 nights and enjoyed every minute - will be back again I'm sure.

I greatly enjoyed a week staying in this delightful 'art nouveau' hotel in the central square. My room overlooked the square and the fine church of Sant Bartomeu. Food and service were excellent. Soller is a great centre for walking in the Tramuntana, even in very rainy November weather! Winter buses were quite frequent and reliable and the vintage train and tram should not be missed.

We had a wonderful time in Soller and would stay at our little \"Hotel la Vila\" again. Nice breakfast included and dinners there were super as well. We were on the upper (3rd floor) with no elevator but not really a problem. Mallorca is a beautiful island. You can do wonderful hikes right from the town.

This is a great small hotel fantastically located in the picture perfect little square of Soller town. We stayed for 5 nights on bed and breakfast basis. Breakfast is a simple affair with egg based product as well as cereal and yoghurt available. Perfectly adequate I thought .Hotel La Vila is Positioned in amongst the shops, bars and restaurants of this high class town, with Port De Soller only a short distance away on the great vintage trams that run regularly.The hotel has been very tastefully renovated and has kept all the charm and nice touches that many hotels give up for modern refurbishment, and this adds to the ambience.The staff are atentive and efficient and are warm, friendly and welcoming.I cannot rate this hotel and its location highly enough. Eight bedrooms,four Iooking out over the square, four with garden views, simply furnished, with authentic fixtures and fittings extending throughout the Hotel. I planned this trip having visited Soller and Port De Soller previously as a day tripper from Palma City, in the hope that it would satisfy mine and my partners plans for a relaxing stay, and it lived up to, and surpassed all my expectations.Great Hotel, Great town, Great holiday..............NB. The ONLY way you should plan to arrive in Soller is via the Vintage train from Palme City, this is the most wonderful event in itself, and forms part of your holiday and memories. Book this Hotel, you wont be dissapointed.

Hotel an oasis of calm in the centre of the busy Soller square. Hotel staff very friendly and helpful - the manager couldn't do enough to help. Room clean and cool with A/C. Had lovely breakfast at hotel sitting in main square of town - the orange juice was proper freshly squeezed juice. Had superb evening meal in the garden restaurant. Food excellent. Would definitely return if go back to Soller.

We stayed in this lovely place for 3 nights. On the top floor the view overlooking the plaza cannot be beat. It was summer and it was lively until late and then workers begin early so the noise could be a problem if one is looking for a quiet getaway. The breakfast is delicious!

We travelled by bus from Palma and found we had quite a long walk to the Hotel. We sorted out the return journey much better.We didn't know what to expect but we were delighted with every aspect of our stay.particularly the restaurant and the excelent tasting menu.We can imagine though that this hotel would not suit everybody..

Even so, it was very quiet and the square was traffic-free. We ate breakfast in the square, although we could have gone into the garden.

This is a great place to stay to explore the region. One can visit Valdemossa, Deia, and Port Soller very easily. Plus Soller itself has a delightful central square, and the hotel makes you feel a part of everything. Wonderful atmosphere. Highly recommended.

Our room was on the third floor and faced the plaza which gave us a great vantage point to enjoy the buzz of the cafes & restaurants down below from our balcony. If you want something more quiet, I imagine the rooms facing the rear courtyard would suit you better. Be aware, that there is no elevator, but the staff are willing to help with your luggage.
The hotel was nicely renovated about 5 years ago, and rooms are still in good condition. Bed, linens, washroom were all clean and comfortable.
We only had one meal at the hotel (breakfast), and it was very good. Our breakfast was included with the price of the room.

Very nice traditional hotel in an old building in Soller. You have to pay for breakfast but it’s a great choice to eat at the hotels restaurant (10 % discount when you are guest)
Be aware for where your room are, we had a room in another building at the square, and there was 55 steps to the room, no problem for us, but it can be a problem to get there. Room was nice and quiet, with a fantastic Mountain view, aircon a bit noisy. All in all a great stay.

We had a really nice stay! Super friendly and service minded staff, they did their best to support us when we had questions and when we wanted to pre book taxis. Great location in the middle of Sóller, with a bunch of restaurants just outside the hotel. Even though it was central, it was super quiet during the nights. Thank you!

L'hotel è old old style, non c'è l'ascensore e per andare in camera al secondo piano si usa una rampa di scale.
In camera è tutto antico-vecchio, anche le prese elettriche.
Il letto non è comodissimo e fa rumore ogni volta che ti muovi, i cuscini sono piccoli e troppo bassi.
Il bagno ha la vasca, un piccolo set da bagno e un phon piccolissimo dove è difficile asciugare i capelli corti, figuriamoci quelli lunghi.
Non mi è piaciuto, ma ciò che mi ha fatto arrabbiare è stata la serratura della porta. Dall'interno non si chiudeva e se si chiudeva era quasi impossibile aprirla. L'ho fatto presente la mattina ma non hanno fatto nulla per aggiustarla. Ho dovuto dormire con la porta aperta. Il costo è esorbitante 160€ a notte senza colazione. Rapporto qualità prezzo pessimo
