This is the most special place I’ve ever visited! The grounds are gorgeous, and the rooms are cozy and beautifully decorated. The hotel staff go above and beyond to make sure you have all your needs met.

for all the hype about this property from other travelers we were disappointed by the variety of food options (delicious but very limited - eg. just wanted a simple lunch to tide us over - not a $30 Euro something) & loudness in the rooms (a carpet here or there would really help). The value for dollar was unexpected. should have had an alternative for the fixed price dinner $180 eu was steep. the location and facility was lovely but value for dollar was not.

Disappointing - beware. We booked a Double Deluxe room at a very high rate at this hotel and were told at check-in that we were being given a “double upgrade” to a Jr Suite. We were initially very excited about this until we realized that although our room was a bit bigger than what we had booked, it only had 3 tiny little windows at awkward heights that looked directly into other guest rooms or level with the pool restaurant diners so we no view of anything and could not have the shutters/drapes open without having people able to peer directly into our room. In the end, when saw the rooms our friends received and looked at our booking confirmation and the website, we wished we’d insisted on being given the lovely room that we’d actually booked with large, bright windows/French doors and a nice outlook rather than the inferior room we had. Our room (#29) did not resemble the airy, bright Jr Suites that you see on the hotel’s website and it definitely did not feel worth what we paid at all.

Immaculate! From the moment we entered the property everyone was so warm and hospitable. Welcomed us with beautiful views and drinks at the bar lounge while we waited to check in. Amazing dinner at el Olivo, must enjoy aperitif before dinner at the bar with live music. There’s really not much else do in the surrounding area so I don’t recommend staying more than 2 days.

Thomas Moons the GM is very polite, friendly and courteous trying to find out how to even go beyond all expectations. We will definitely be back! Nothing to fault with service or hotel! Fabulous place with gorgeous grounds - amazing staff and set in a great location. Walk out into the beautiful town of Deia on the doorstep and lovely hill walks in the area if desired. El Olivio restaurant in the hotel has great food and ambience. If you want amazing sea view restaurants then there are a few a short drive away.

Very impressed!

This location of the hotel is unbeatable - the view is picturesque and will leave you breathless. The Belmond is the boutique Four Season in comparison. Service was impeccable and 5 stars. The room can get an upgrade as it seems a little old at this point but still very clean.

Breakfast was included and the list is expansive. You can order room service or eat downstairs buffet style and it’s both included in your room rate.

I was very impressed and would stay again.

Be firm on room quality!

So much about this property was right. We enjoyed it. I was disappointed that the room was very dark, and my daughters pull out bed was unbearably uncomfortable. I wish I’d asked to move the first evening. We also overlooked a roof covered in Astro turf. For 1200/night I expect more.

We were greeted by happy helpful staff.
Our room was cool and spacious with welcoming touches and a general feeling of understated luxury.
We ate in all of the restaurants. They were all lovely experiences each one distinct from its fellows. The food and service were of a consistently high standard.
The gardens and pools added further to our feeling of relaxation and wellbeing.
We enjoyed our excisions to the cove and other villages. Reception were well informed helpful and efficient in helping us plan our route and transport options.

Belmond is no doubt picturesque property in quiet, relaxing village of Deia.
However, the reception staff are a bit slow and in general staffs and service is a bit slow. Also, the rooms weren’t cleaned that well and there are alot of mosquitos. But in general its a beautiful properry.

The most iconic property in Deia, beautiful natural property that lives up to Belmond name. We stayed in a delux suite with a pool and it wasn’t cleaned well. Also, the property has lots of mosquitos so be prepares. The reception is a bit slow (some don’t even speak english and the staff are a bit slow as well). If this is improved, it would be a great relxation hotel.

Great property in central deia

Lovely hotel with lots of charm and artistic vibe but the service level was erratic and it fails to live up to its promise. The rooms were noisy (we could hear the upstairs guests walking about and using their bathroom), little things like the bathroom amenities were not properly provided and on our last morning the room key would not work leaving us a little anxious as to whether we would check out in time for our flight. All this is excusable unless you are paying a top rate as here and euro 21 for a very mediocre cocktail.

He hotel has unbeatable location, on the hills of the Tramuntana mountains. From any location in the hotel, the view is gorgeous. Service is very good. They'll try to cater to your every needs. Breakfast is very pleasant in a nice setting. The village Deia is charming and it is a good base to explore the western coast, one of the most beautiful regions in Mallorca

Great Stay at La Residencia

Recently stayed with my wife at La Residencia for a few days. We really enjoyed our stay. The grounds are very well maintained and the staff is very well trained. The room was very comfortable and clean. The setting amongst the mountains is breathtaking. We utilized the spa which was great and my wife utilized the on-site hair salon which was very convenient. Food all around was wonderful and really enjoyed our dinner at the on-site fine dining restaurant El Olivo. Although we had rented a car, the hotel does have a shuttle to the nearby calla. There are also some good local restaurants within walking distance. This hotel is a good choice for couples or families alike. The hotel offers an adults only pool area if so desired. I would like to thank Adolfo for outstanding service during our stay. We will be back.

It was great having a kettle in the room for an afternoon cup of tea.
Downside of stay, selfish parents who are unable to control their unruly, noisy children.
How those children can spoil what is intended as a restful break!

The hotel used to have a no children's policy except during August. We spent the weekend here last w/e and it was super but we were not informed that the babies and children ban had been lifted. It does change things and it makes a tranquil hotel very much less so.

Beautiful and peaceful setting

The very attentive staff made our stay happy and relaxing for all. The food was delicious at every meal. I especially loved the call button by the sun loungers beside the pool so that one didn't need to move to order a drink. The rooms were beautifully furnished and the views from everywhere of scenic Deya. A very good massage for mother and daughter enhanced the relaxing experience.
