This is our second visit to the hotel this year & we deciced to come back & stay as our first visit was fabulous.
The hotel is beautiful & clean & staff very friendly. What let this vist down on this trip was the food. The snack bar closed early, so we went to the main bar to order some food (using the snack bar menu) when we went to collect the food (we were advised the food could not be brought to us arond the pool) so we carried this huge tray of food ourselves, my husbands burger and chips were stone cold (mine was ok as I ordered a salad).
The food from the breaskfast menu was not great either.
Food aside we love the hotel, I think tis is an area that be very much improved.

Beautiful Hotel

The staff at were very attentive and accommodating. Room was beautiful and very spacious. Excellent views from the balcony and would highly recommend getting the breakfast as we both looked forward to it each day. The pool was lovely and there were a good number of loungers and of course a bar. We are looking forward to coming back!

Lovely child free break away. Absolutely gorgeous views from out balcony.
Room was spacious, very clean and nicely decorated.
Pool was in a gorgeous setting and we could always get a lounger.
Great cocktails from the pool bar.
Didn't have breakfast but ate at restaurant in e. It was ok.
Only two negatives - the English breakfast tea in the room was awful. Had to switch to coffee.
Fries from snack bar were cold so obviously not freshly cooked. I should have asked for them to be reheated but my husband had already covered them in sauce.

Not bad for the price. Best If you can avoid the rooms located on the lower level because it can get noisy with the restaurant located right below. Otherwise nice staff, nice location, great affordability. You can also watch the most beautiful sunset from the hotel which is a bonus!

The hotel location is nice if you’d like to sit at the hotel and lounge by the pool.

Valldemosa is the type of town you walk around for a few hours and leave. If you want sight seeing beyond that, this isn’t the hotel for you.
Maybe for 2-3 night stay only.

The breakfast and dinner options are sub par. The staff is unorganized and seemingly confused about the most basic seating and dining etiquette.

The pool area is nice but again, not much else to do around here. It’s not a walkable area either in case you’re an active person and want to do something beyond hanging at the pool.

The rooms were beautiful and clean. Convenient location close to Deia and Port de Sóller. Breakfast included which was nice. Only 2 free water bottles provided for the entire stay. The wifi did not work for us which was really inconvenient since our e-sim also had a weak connection in this part of Mallorca, and the gym left much to be desired (no free weights or weight machines). Other than that we enjoyed our stay very much.

The property itself is absolutely amazing. Beautiful scenic view of the sea from the mountain and good sized room and beautiful pool and amenities. The air conditioning in our was not working upon arrival which we flagged to the receptionist who dismissed us rudely twice claiming we must not have turned it on correctly until which point I had to go down a third time and found a technician who came to the room and confirmed that it was broken and someone would not be available until the next day to fix it. It was over 30 degrees Celsius in the room that night - needless to say no sleep. We were not offered any compensation for this which is disappointing.

Everything about this hotel was fabulous. I was lucky to have the most amazing room. I have stayed in many extremely good hotels in Mallorca but the view from my room, which was breath-taking, means that I would look to this place first before I go anywhere else. I spent nine days at the hotel. I am able, therefore, to give a considered view. There was nothing to fault. It was, simply, superb.

Not worth the money ¬ setup for wedding parties

We booked this hotel for about 30 people for a wedding around the corner. Rooms are a good size & the hotel appears clean.
At check in there was confusion around the rooms that were booked for single or double occupancy & they said we had to change rooms due to the taxes or we had to pay 38€ for a 2nd room key even though the single & double rooms were identical!
On the day of the wedding, the restaurant was closed due to being short staff & we couldn’t even get a coffee for the bride whose wedding was at 6pm.
Despite linking in with Son Marroig & accommodating lots of wedding guests, they don’t have a steamer & the requested iron never turned up. We were also told we could not bring the cake into the hotel as it needed a fridge and we weren’t allowed to bring our own in either.
The day after the wedding, there was no hot water to any of the rooms. They said they were fixing it & delayed our check out by 30 minutes but the water was not fixed & we didn’t get any compensation or even an apology. The receptionist just said no when we enquired about some money back for the 30 odd guests we had booked! She didn’t even remove the extra breakfast charges as a gesture of goodwill.
The breakfast was 18€ each & was definitely not worth it. We had 1 runny poached egg out of 7! Even after we had sent the first lot back. They started removing food & drink before breakfast was due to finish at 11am despite us still being there & our delayed checkout. Location-fab. Not worth the money.

I will comment on the fact that I made sure it had AC but was set for heating so it never came on and we like the room at 70F or 18C at least so was difficult to sleep because of that

A recently fully refurbished hotel with great views to sea. A good base to explore this beautiful mountainous coastal area. Fairly remote though Valldemossa and Deja just a short drive away. Very large rooms with a balcony. Great breakfast.

An incredible view, overlooking the sea, within the mountains. It is a 5 minute drive to Valdemossa - such a beautiful and historic village. An 8 minute drive to Deia and about 25 to Sollier. If you are nervous of driving mountain roads,it may not be for you but the scenery is incredible.
Our room was large, clean and modern and every room has a balcony. The breakfast was great. Very good value!

The only downside is there is not great walkability to the town or restaurants in the area you need a car or taxi to get around. The views from this hotel are spectacular and the staff are friendly and helpful. Parking was a bit of a pain as the lot seems smaller than hotel capacity and many people don’t park within the lines, exacerbating the capacity issue. Breakfast was very good and again the service was great. The building design/decor itself was a little more corporate than I was expecting, and that felt somewhat strange against the historic backdrop.

In hindsight, I probably would have opted to stay in Valldemossa or Deía, rather than trying to be in-between the two towns. Overall though I was happy with the stay.

My wife and I had such an amazing time staying at the hotel. The staff went out of their way to surprise us with a room upgrade for our honeymood. The rooms, views, and food at the restaurant were absolutely amazing. This hotel was one of the best, if not the best, that we have ever stayed at due to the combination of the hotel itself and the very warm and welcoming staff. We definitely plan to return to Mallorca and will definitely stay at the Hotel Bordoy Continental again.

Perfect!

It was our first time in Mallorca and we loved everything about this hotel! The amenities were great and the restaurant was also lovely. Our room felt very spacious and clean and our sea view suite was unbelievable! The area of Valldemossa was also one of the most scenic and beautiful places I have ever been to :) There is a parking lot within the hotel premises so parking was never an issue. I would 100% recommend this hotel to anyone looking to come to Mallorca!

I was happy to be out of the frenetic pace of the city of Palma and at Continental, it was easy to drive in to Valldemossa for meals and sites and walking around town. The area around Continental was beautiful with a view of the sea from the dining area and adventurous hiking trails. There was a great pool that was so relaxing with the sea breeze keeping things cool. Also there were fun little goats frolicking around the hiking areas and I loved them.

Gorgeous and well located hotel

Such a wonderful find just outside of Valldemossa. The pool was lovely, the views were gorgeous, and the hotel had a luxury feel that was so lovely. The rooms were spacious, bright, and clean with high ceilings and luxury linens. Bathrooms were updated and spacious as well. The only things that seemed a bit odd were the lunch hours (didn’t start until 1:15 which was tough with small children) and the fact that the outside balcony lights couldn’t be turned off, which made enjoying a glass of wine in the evening a little less enjoyable. Otherwise I would definitely recommend this property. The grounds were gorgeous and it was very convenient to visit the villages in the area.

A lovely relaxing location with beautiful views. Loved sitting on the balcony. On the bus route which is helpful with a stop right outside the hotel. Even better if you have a car. The beds were very comfortable with high quality linens. Great shower and bathroom. Pool area very nice. Only slight downside was the restaurant which tried very hard to provide great meals and succeeded in presentation but not as much in flavour. Good prices though. Overall really enjoyed my stay.

Paying for sea-view, but really its just trees.

Paid for a sea-view, had a view of trees. Hotels.com is not marketing the rooms they offer for hotels correctly. I expect a reimbursement covering the difference between a superior room with sea view and a superior room without sea view. The hotel could not give us the room we had booked because it was full and all the rooms were taken. They gave us a bottle of cava which i found nice at first and then realised it was the same bottle they offer for free at breakfast for you to make as many mimosas as you want. Really disappointed as i booked this hotel for the view and did not get what i was hoping for.

We stayed in a superior double room with a seaview (508) and it was absolutely breathtaking! Definitely splurge for the seaview, you will not be sorry. Room was clean, huge and well decorated. Surrounding area is peaceful and beautiful.

Valldemossa is so quaint. There are great restaurants in town but the restaurant at the hotel was very good too. You will definitely need a car unless you don't plan on leaving the hotel. It would be completely unsafe to walk into town given the winding roads.

Our only complaint was that the hotel only provided one tiny bottle of water in the room upon arrival. When we inquired about restocking we were told we would have to buy it out of the minibar. When one is staying in a place where the water is not potable I have never had a hotel not supply daily bottles of water.

Hotel was lovely and room was excellent. The hotel was very tranquil and great for a peaceful stay. I would recommend that anyone staying should have access to a car as it is difficult to get taxis and the hotel is fairly remote.

Views from the balcony included great sunsets and moon sets from high over the Med. over a drop of 1000 or more to the sea. Look for a rhino, elephant and giraffe statue in the grounds next door.

Book here for the views! Our junior suite was really spacious, amazing shower and such a beautiful view from our room and the pool. It was really relaxing and tranquil!
You definitely need a car to explore the area.
The only cons were the pool was freezing and the mattress was hard however that didn't bother us really as the positives amde our stay. Would definitely recommend!

Good hotel

It was a pleasant hotel , a little far from local stores and villages but acceptable if you have a mode of transport. Spacious and clean rooms. Bed was a bit uncomfortable.

Ok hotel, great location

The hotel is in a great location (providing you have a car) close to the beautiful nearby areas of Valldemossa and Deia. The rooms are pleasant, clean & comfortable with lovely sea views, however despite the refurbishment I do think the rooms could still do with some updating, in particular the balconies / lighting on the balcony which felt incredibly dated & worn.

The main reason for giving the hotel 3 stars is due to the sewage smell we had in our room during our stay. When we notified reception about a smell in the room a cleaner kindly arrived at the door soon after to pour liquid in the drains (which made me think this must happen often...) she then returned a further 3 times to check / pour more liquid down the drains that same evening & told us we could move rooms in the morning if the smell persisted. The following morning my partner was told by someone else at reception that 'oh yes the smell happens throughout the hotel when it rains here' as if to justify it. To make matters worse when we returned later that afternoon our room hadn't been cleaned at all/ new towels provided & we were told there were no other rooms 'within the category we booked' that we could move to unless we moved to level 1 where we would lose our sea views. We were offered breakfast during our stay & kindly gifted a bottle of cava on the first night for the inconvenience, but despite these efforts I just wasn't that impressed with the hotel overall unfortunately.

Our stay at the hotel was wonderful, the hotel is very clean, modern looking, located up on mountain looking down at the sea, you are surrounded by nature with calm peace vibes. The grounds have lovely trees and gardens to walk around or sit. The pool is spacious with pool side snacks and drinks.
The rooms are very clean modern. The bathroom is clean with powerful rain water effect and very spacious.
There are balconies to sit and gaze into the landscape and sea.
Breakfast has many options especially for us as we have a vegan diet.
The staff are very helpful and friendly.

I read other reviews about the mountain-facing units being a little noisy so I booked a sea view room and wow, it didn't disappoint! The room was quiet, and SO LARGE compared to any other hotel I've stayed in around this pricing. The room was immaculate and elegantly decorated. The property itself is secluded, but only a 5- minute drive to town. I would stay here again and again.

We were extremely happy with everything. The room, the view from the room to the sea, the balcony, the dinner. The service persons were also very friendly and really there for you to help!!! And we are very picky and critical persons when it comes to hotels as we have travelled quite a lot and know what the stars should be about. To this hotel I would give more than 4 stars.

Fantastic hotel, very special location

Amazing hotel, somewhere that we will return to in the future. Far enough away from the bustling Palma and 5 minutes drive from Valldemossa. The Suites have fantastic views from the room and balcony where you can watch the sunset with 180 degree views. Ramona was extremely helpful and went out of her way to ensure that we had an exceptional stay. Rooms were very modern and well kept.

This was almost the perfect place. It was amazing for the views especially from the 4th and 5th floors. I would have rated this stay my top one or two places Ihave ever stayed if one thing would have happened with a decision from the front desk person.
My second evening was ruined due to being locked into the pool toilet for 40 minutes because of a faulty door handle which locked me in. There was an SOS button which is a good idea but it was broken as well! Eventualky after banging on the door and yelling at the top of my lungs a hicker heard me and came to my aid.
When I advised the front desk the lady did offer an appology but any first class resort would have offered some form of compensation like a complimentary dinner or something.
It was lucky for the resort that there was not a medical emergency as they would have had a big law suit on their hands. If they had offered some sort of compensation and treated my wife and I to a nice dinner I would have overlooked this fact in my review for the hotel realizing that my experience was very upsetting to myself and my wife and showing us they were really sorry and not just a verbal appology.

The hotel is located on the main road between Valldemossa and Deia. The 'mountain view' room does not have a view of the mountain or trees, simply a road. This road is very loud and noisy and has HGVs and traffic all night. We stayed 3 nights and asked if we could pay for another room and the hotel were not able to accommodate this. The lady at reception said that it should be quieter at night than during the day (wasn't the case sadly). Would not recommend unless you are a very deep sleeper and if you also enjoy a quiet room.

Booked for my honeymoon. Paid for a Mountain View which was actually a road view and was extremely noisy. Had to keep the windows shut because of the noise at night and the AC didn’t work. Didn’t sleep well the entire time. Room also smelled strongly of sulfur.

We were upgraded to a junior suite at no extra cost, and the room was beautiful. My only complaint is that the room smelled of cigarettes. We were thankful for the upgrade, so we didn't bother the front desk but the smell was very potent. The hotel is very clean and the views are gorgeous. It is perfectly located in the middle of Deia (just slightly further) and Valldemossa. The pool amenities are also very nice. Great hotel.
