Costa D'or is a beautiful hotel just outside Deia. The setting is stunning with amazing views of the sea and the coastline.

The rooms were comfortable, the staff were really friendly. We loved spending time on the terrace and taking a swim in the sea, too.

The food was great and reasonably priced.

We found it a great place to relax. It's a real gem.

I wasn’t sure what to expect when arriving at the hotel. This hotel is incredibly calming, quiet and serene. The vibe of the hotel will make you want to speak quietly, relax and slow down. The view from the pool is breathtaking. The vastness of the ocean absorbs sound and gives the most calming atmosphere.
The staff are lovely, attentive but not overly so. Cannot recommend this place enough if you’re looking to chill out and disconnect. Oh, and there is an amazing herd of goats who roam the cliffs and wild parts of the property which adds to the charm of the place!

This hotel is in an area of outstanding natural beauty - it is tranquil and relaxing and we simply loved the place. There are great transport links to Deia, Valdemossa, Soller and beyond - it's perfect for cycling, trecking or simply chillaxing by the pool. Facilities at the hotel are excellent and the staff go above and beyond. Having stayed at many fine hotels in Mallorca this is without doubt the best i've been at - the attention to detail is subtle an everything runs smoothly

The rooms definitely feel outdated. We were placed in room 217, which is right next to the elevator and was fairly loud, could hear through the walls quite a bit. The location, pool, restaurant are wonderful and the restaurant staff was always very helpful and pleasant. The front desk staff, not so much. I think I would return to the restaurant, but skip staying on property.

This hotel is something out of a fairy tale. It is a breathtaking property with beautiful views. The highlight was the hike from the hotel to Cala Deia. It was fairly easy and a nice alternative to driving. 10 minutes from town and cabs come within 10 minutes of requesting. Quiet, peaceful and serene, this is a perfect place to recharge your battery and take in the beauty that is Mallorca.

Stunning location and property! If you are looking for something peaceful and calm, this is your place. It is far up the mountain and takes about 15-20 to get down to the other towns and roads to get around the island. Deia is a beautiful little town and great places to eat.

Everything about this hotel was great, and there is no better view. The rooms were spacious and comfortable. The pool was quiet and clean with perfect water temperature. The breakfast was delicious and had the best fresh fruit. Service was great. Daytime driving on the roads is a bit tough, so we stayed in for dinner both nights. It was great, and again the view here is stunning.

Great location and hotel. Horrible service. You can’t drink the tap water and they don’t provide water 24/7 for free, you have to pay for it. Also they will not call any restaurants to make reservations for you. Lastly if you ask the staff anything related to time (taxi, etc.), they have no idea.

We loved our stay at Hoposa in Deia solely because of this hotel and their views. The hike down to the private beach with stairs into the water was amazing! The hotel is much more modern than I expected. Had a cool vibe as soon as you pulled in. Was quiet - they could add a little music at the pool for a better ambiance. The room was comfy and the shower pressure was amazing. The staff barely spoke but I didn't really mind. The views of this property is what makes this my favorite - and we stayed at the Belmond as well. Also, a wonderful hotel - but nothing beat this hotel and this experience! You can hike along the coast from the hotel to Cala Deia and other areas. Just so perfect! We can't wait to go back.

This hotel is lovely and a great location to reach the surrounding towns. The main attraction is the beautiful view while dining or lounging by the pool. There are trails leading down to the water or joining the Cala Delia de ya to Port of Soller hiking trail. We opted for a partial ocean view room and it was nothing special but the general ambience of the place made up for that. Breakfast was fine, nothing special, but again eating it sitting outside overlooking the ocean made for a perfect morning.

This is a beautiful and unique hotel! I would stay again. As soon as you arrive you feel relaxed and calm since all you see is ocean and nature and all you hear is birds and some goats. It was a beautiful experience staying there.
My only issue was that the hotel rooms were a bit older and not sound proof (we stayed in the original building). This meant that it sounded like the people in the neighboring room was actually in our room, and every evening when they slammed their door shut it woke us up with a scare.
The breakfast has an omelet station which is nice. The dinner at the restaurant is ok.

I came here for a night romantic evening. The hotel is lovely, the welcome drink was a lovely touch. We ate dinner in the restaurant which was absolutely delicious.

My only negative is that the walls in the room are very thin and I could here the conversation of the people next door during the door and other noises that you might expect to hear in a hotel during the middle of the night. Not brilliant if you are light sleeper and easily woke, like me.

All in all thought it was a great place to be for one night, very romantic and beautiful sunset views in the evening.

Stunning location with incredible views

Fabulous location on the cliff with uninterrupted views of the sea - really stunning. Great terrace and pool area. The rooms are very old school and drab although very clean, spacious and comfortable. The service at the hotel is quite mediocre and restaurant food and service was the worse thing about the hotel - the food was actually quite bad quality and service mediocre. Breakfast buffet was good and since we were serving ourselves and having it on the terrace it was pleasant. Being at this hotel is not easy to get around but it’s a lovely location to just chill by the pool and enjoy the fabulous views. The hotel would do well to improve their restaurant food and service.

Amazing location and property

This must be one of the most amazing locations I’ve ever been. Picture perfect views no matter which way you look and if able bodied, so many incredible places along the coastal trail to sunbathe and/or go for a swim in the Mediterranean. Don’t miss the coastal trail! The single room I was in was a bit small but big enough I guess and very clean so no complaints. The staff was very nice and attentive. I ate at restaurant both nights. Prices were reasonable. First night was amazing. Second was not so good and took forever so who knows what happened there. Staff change perhaps? I was on a solo adventure but I could see how this would be a very romantic setting for any couple. The pool area was very nice too. Especially for sunset!

The hotel location is unique in that it is nestled in the mountainous region of Deia and Sóller with spectacular views. It is common to see hikers and bicyclists on the way, and one or another goat. The roads are narrow and curvy, with extremely sharp turns, so driving up was truly an adventure for us, but after a few days became much like sharing the way of life of the locals. One glimpse after the other is stunning as you look down towards the Mediterranean and high peaks. Surrounding towns are beautiful and the architecture is charming, making us marvel about the resilience of the Mallorcan people.
The hotel staff was outstanding in their care and treatment and attention to detail. Because it is in such a remote and hilly location, parking can be difficult, but at least Hosposa Costa D' Or has a gated parking area, which is unusual for a hotel in this little piece of heaven.

Had the BEST time at this lovely little hotel. Perfectly quiet boutique hotel with nice amenities, spectacular view, and surprisingly delicious restaurant! Really has everything you need. We had a fantastic stay at the Hoposa Costa D'Or - we stayed here during the second half of our holiday in Mallorca, and it was a nice escape from the touristy resort town we stayed in before. The grounds and landscaping were beautiful, the food was delicious and impeccably prepared, and the views of the Mediterranean Sea and mountains were second to none. Specifically, watching the sunset over dinner was one of the most romantic, beautiful, and aesthetically pleasing experiences I've ever had. I'd definitely recommend this hotel for someone who is looking to get away, relax, and experience beautiful scenery and atmosphere.

What a beautiful perch overlooking the Mediterranean! Could not have been more pleased with our stay. The staff was attentive and engaged with special recognition of Hassan, Khalid and Laura. The room was comfortable with a very nice bathroom, the pool was lovely as was the deck and cabana area. As it is not easy to come and go, given the roads, I am happy to say that the breakfast and dinners that we took in there were delicious. One caution, the description of access to the \" beach\" is a bit misleading as the path takes you to a pile of rocks at the waters edge, beautiful, but with no real access to the water. Similarity, there is a path to Deia, but it is challenging and not for the faint of heart. Bottom line, beautiful property, wonderful staff, incredible views, delicious food, access to hiking, and with a car, easy access to adventures along a stunning coast, but not so much the water

We could not be happier with this hotel. We spend one night here, and will return for sure. The place is breathtaking, and the rooms are lovely with good beds and services.
The staff was absolutely amazing, and there are no kids. Sea and mountain views are hard to find.

The parking is the only tricky thing, if you're not used to \"Spanish\" parking, it can be a hustle to get your car parked correctly. There's not much space and the access is tricky.

But the hotel is totally worth all of the manoeuvres with parking. There is a nice bar and pool area with views at the sea. There's a hidden beach through a 15 min hike in the woods down to the cala. Good hiking area. Quiet and just a really dreamy place.

Hotel was lovely! Room was good, not amazing but I think I had the cheapest room. View was perfect! Sunset is a must see... it’s to die for! Stunning walk along the coast. Restaurant staff and food are highly recommended. The staff are fab! Pool looked beautiful,

I just came home from a lovely two night stay at the hotel. I could have stayed a lot longer! The grounds are lovely, beautiful sunset views. It's very quiet (adults only) and a bit older couples crowd, but very relaxed. I didn't have a car and I think you need one of you want to see some of Deia and beyond, but I was happy walking the coast hiking trails, reading and being lazy. The food at the restaurant is great, a little more expensive than standard Spain, but high quality and great service. Breakfasf buffet was big and varied. There's a tiny gym and free tennis courts.
Will definitely head back sometime!

Food mediocre. Breakfast buffet a long walk from dining terrace. No fresh coffee, just a machine. Cereal choice limited.
Dinner very average. For example, crust on lamb cutlets very soggy. Vegetables cold.
Room adequate but old fashioned decor.
No towels available at pool. Need to collect and return at reception.
One terrace bordered by grotty wire fence spoiling view.
Faint smell of septic tank hovered over the property

Child-free relaxing haven

Peaceful, relaxing stay away from it all. The staff really know how to make guests welcome and appreciated, without being intrusive. Excellent pool and patio, great restaurant. Spotless throughout. Easy access via scenic drive to Adria, Valldemossa and Soller, and to Palma, or on local bus 210 at the top of the lane.

Remote Hotel with Wonderful Views

Booked this trip very last minute and on the whole we were not disappointed. Chose not to rent a car which in hindsight may have restricted our experience somewhat. The hotel is close to a bus service which goes both north and south and further connections are available in Palma. Loved the local walks, the flora and fauna, not so sure about the local \"beach\".

Service does not match the price!

It is a great place with beautiful surroundings and sea view. The service has some deficiencies and the design of the room could have been much better and was not suitable with the rest. Beds were very good! If you want to hike, you can start several tours from the hotel and other important hiking areas are within 30min reach by car. Deia is also an amazing village just around the corner with great restaurants.

A beautiful location with great service, fab location and friendly attentive staff. It rained on one day and we had to eat in the restaurant which did make for a very different experience to the Al fresco terrace. And the piped music is horrendous! All in all though, really lovely hotel and experience

Quiet, restful hotel with personal touch

We enjoyed the personal touches of remembering names etc - all staff were really helpful and attentive. We enjoyed the challenge of finding the path to the beach, and enjoyed both snorkelling and mud wrap when we got there. We ate in the hotel on two evenings and enjoyed the food both then and in the mornings making the most of the leisurely and plentiful breakfast buffet! The cool shaded terrace with the beautiful views was a lovely place to relax and enjoy meals.
I would certainly recommend this hotel for a short relaxing recuperative break - and/or a centre to explore the area from!

Great Mallorcan hideaway

My husband and I stayed 5 nights in early May, and had a wonderfully relaxing time at this adults only hotel? Staff are excellent and very guest focused. Rooms are Mallorcan style, simply but comfortably furnished. The pool area is superb - quiet, ultra clean and well equipped. The restaurant is very good, and buffet breakfast is European, with emphasis on local foods. Remote location was a plus for us, but the nearest grocery store is at least 2 miles away, so a car is almost a necessity. We will definitely return.

Stunning location

We were due to stay for 4 days over Easter and were given room 113 that looks out to sea, which I suspect has one if the best aspects.
We chose to eat in nearby Deia, but managed to do some of the cliff walks from the hotel.
Breakfast is 8-10, which creates a bit of a rush about 09.30. There is no coffee/ tea-making facility in the room. The gym is a joke but the pool is beautiful. You could taxi here and everywhere else, but a car will enable you to escape paradise when you so desire.

Wonderfull stay

A beautiful hotel, a gorgeous area, and breathtaking views of beauty. The hotel is very well located, quiet and charming, we had a room overlooking the sea, and it’s such a pleasure to contemplate this huge expanse of blue sea sparkling in the sun.
Swimming pool is a little small and the sun recliners are quickly taken early in the morning so book, is better. I recommend sun recliners near the trees down, quieter and frankly the view is just beautiful, we saw the sunset lying sun, just awesome.
Great breakfast and very good restaurant. Very friendly and helpful staff and an atmosphere that invites you to relax and empty your mind.
Only inconvenient; Like all hotels, no king size bed, just two beds joined, not terrific to sleep in the arms of his beloved ;)

We loved the Sierra de Tramontana, and Mallorca. If you go away from the tourist areas and the full beaches, is a real paradise that is open to you.
