Hotel es Port is beautifully decorated with so many interesting nooks and crannies. The indoor pool was fantastic as the outdoor pool in October was a tad chilly despite the beautiful sunshine. Breakfast was lovely and fresh and the hotel is an easy 2 minute stroll to the beachfront with fabulous restaurants and shops.

Everything about our trip to Port de Soller was perfect, and our stay at Hotel Es Port was the cherry on top. The grounds were beautiful, the location was convenient, and the staff was amazing. Would come back in a heartbeat.

Very surprised to see so many positive reviews on this hotel.
The location and setting of the building is excellent but that is where the positives end unfortunately.
All the decor is very dated, which is a shame, as the main building has a lot of potential given its history.
Breakfast is a reasonable selection, but all very poor quality, particularly any meat, and towards the end of the trip we just stopped going it was so unenjoyable. Restaurant itself is also hugely dated and felt like something from the 90s.
Staff are (mostly) welcoming and friendly, but certainly not all of them. Plenty of unhelpful and frustrating hotel policies. Eg You need to hold onto your pool towels at all times and swap them with the lifeguard. Strict policy about no more than 1 per person (why?) and this involves carrying wet towels around / back to the room - never seen such a policy. Reception couldn’t guarantee they could arrange a taxi to the airport (despite providing more than 24 hours notice) - again never seen this at a hotel. Couldn’t send an iron up to the room. Collectively left us frustrated, with the feeling the hotel does little to make you enjoy your stay.

However, the main issue were the beds. Hugely sagging and one of the most uncomfortable hotel beds I’ve stayed on in years.

Overall, could not recommend which is a shame as with new management and some $$$ investment in refurbing the main building it could be a stunning hotel in a great location.

Gorgeous character property, did not disappoint!

Beautiful historic building with all the old paraphernalia still there, loads of character. Staff at reception excellent, service at the poolside bar a bit slow at first but seemed to get going, and the food was excellent and reasonably priced. Pool was warm, surroundings absolutely lovely and a very short walk down the steps into town.

Would stay again without question

We had an amazing trip staying at Es Port. It's a gorgeous, quiet property that feels removed, but it right in the middle of town. The breakfast was the best hotel breakfast I've ever seen, the service was pretty kind and helpful, and we got a lot of support through a medical issue that arose in our group on the last morning. Would stay here again without question. I wanted more time to use all the little nooks and beautiful sitting areas throughout the hotel.

The team was above and beyond from a service perspective, but based on my experiences in Europe overall, it was all great.

Stayed for 4 nights. Hotel and grounds are beautiful, the resort has plenty of dining options and is very calm but has limited post dinner drinking options. If you want entertainment past 11pm I’d say it’s not for you. However, lots of lovely places to walk and Soller centre easily reachable by foot or train.

Friends Visit to Soller

I recently stayed at Hotel Es Port for a getaway and overall had a pleasant experience, though there were a few minor issues.

Upon arrival, I was greeted warmly by the reception staff, who were exceptionally friendly and helpful throughout my stay. They made check-in smooth and efficient, setting a positive tone for my visit.

The room, while clean and well-maintained, was a bit on the small side. It was cozy but lacked the space I would have preferred for a more comfortable stay. Additionally, I noticed that there were no towels left in the room after cleaning, which required me to call down to the front desk to request them. Thankfully, the staff promptly brought the towels to my room within minutes.

One area that could use improvement is the pool. While the pool itself was clean and inviting, the pool guard was not particularly friendly or approachable. This was a stark contrast to the rest of the hotel staff, who were consistently pleasant and eager to assist.

The highlight of my stay was definitely the breakfast. The selection was diverse and catered to various dietary preferences, with fresh and delicious options. The dining area was well-organized, and the staff there were attentive and courteous, ensuring a pleasant start to each day.

In summary, Hotel Es Port provided a generally nice stay with its friendly staff, clean facilities, and delightful breakfast. While the small room and unfriendly pool guard were minor setbacks, the overall experience was positive,

Loads of character. Looks like it may have been an olive mill in the past. Room was gorgeous ( in the old part of the hotel). Poolside bar served lovely lunch. The restaurant La Figuera is highly rated in the area so book in advance.

Immediately loved the character of Hotel Es Port, with its beautiful original mill elements nicely preserved. Staff were very friendly and helpful throughout. The location was great, tucked slightly back from the from of Port de Soller, it was a nice escape from the busy promenade but equally close by to make it easily walkable.

The breakfasts were great with plenty of options and good ingredients.

Rooms were tidy, spacious and well air-conditioned and the bathroom was lovely. Only down side was the poor soundproofing meaning pretty much all corridor noise could clearly be heard.

Overall, I would highly recommend Hotel Es Port

Great location, stunning gardens and grounds; however room needed updating. In particular, the cleanliness and condition of the bathroom were poor. I had to clean the toilet on arrival. Can’t believe the cleaner left it in that condition. Bathroom walls had a lot of stains and there were some damp/mouldy patches on the walls. Shower flooded bathroom floor when used. Bed linen and bathrobe had holes. Balcony not private.

The picturesque port is primarily a marina, with some areas sectioned off for swimming. Beach is ok but gets deep quickly. The beach promenade was nice but a bit grimy in places (maybe because of the trees) and would benefit from better maintenance.

This hotel is a delight, our family stayed for Easter and it was exceptional in all aspects. Friendly staff everywhere, swimming pool facilities indoor and outdoor for the brave. The indoor pool allows children from 9am to 3pm and then adults only after. The restaurant is ambient and warm and very good value. 25 Euros pp, there is a starter and dessert buffet but the main course is picked from the extensive menu and served to the table. This was the best of both worlds for dining. After dinner there are numerous rooms to take drinks, all inviting and warm, the fire was lit, all small details are carefully thought out, the rooms are very comfortable. It is only a few minute walk out the back gate to the port, the hotel ticks all the boxes, do not hesitate to stay here, it was a pleasure and highlight of our trip.

Rustic charm, friendly staff, hotel was busy but enough staff ensured it ran smoothly. It sits in the middle of a large garden estate surrounded by beautiful stone walls with lots of well tended gardens and multiple sun spots with seats and tables to read a book or listen to music. It’s close enough to the port and shopping facilities to be easily walkable yet far enough away that it is quiet and tranquil. The rooms are rustically charming also and while the shower systems could use a modern upgrade to walk in showers with glass….that is the only thing I could fault this hotel on. I would return time and again and it is certainly one of the best hotels I’ve stayed in across the world.

So much more than a hotel! We booked this impromptu as we decided to have a night in Port De Soller...what a treat. It felt like a luxury resort hotel you'd get in the Caribbean. The property itself is amazing, so beautiful. The bar and restaurant terrace was perfect and the pool area with what looked like a new bar was amazing...big pool too! Only a 5 min walk from the main seafront to the quiet sanctury...best hotel of the week in Mallorca. Will return!

This is a great hotel the only negative for us was the pool was too warm! I know an unusual complaint but it just wasn't refreshing which is what you want after sitting in the hot sun.

It feels like employees are upset with management. The vibe is just negative. Employee at the breakfast buffet were rude and their service felt like a burden. Check in staff was also so-so. It's a beautiful hotel with so much character and potential but their \"new building\" with the new rooms is a shame. How can a hotel with so much beauty and old charm beauty construct the new rooms so poorly, the rooms were similar to a Holiday Inn Express. If you decide to stay here, ask for the old rooms (the ones in the pictures).

Stayed here for the weekend, beautiful grounds & pool area, lounging area. Inside Hotel an Old Olive Mill has turned into living rooms, where you can sit on comfy couches at night to relax.
Nice Spa area & loungers, Steamer could of been Hotter, luck warm. Nice indoor pool & outdoor area to sit and relax in after.
Rooms nice & remodeled, beds were a bit hard & pillows too! Wish they would of been more comfy.
Nice views around Hotel & Service was great!!
Food, plenty at breakfast lots to choose from.
We ate at the restaurant Sa Figerura which was a nice atmosphere, but our lamb chops and stuffed calamari was a bit cold.. other then that loved the hotel & staff & amenities.

An unusual Mallorcan gem

A lovely hotel set back from the sea front in large grounds. We were allocated room 430 in the the tower of the old historic building which was spacious, rustic and comfortable - the bed is huge. It has a small window and no balcony, so the room is a little dark but there are lovely views over Port de Soller.There are rooms above which can only be accessed via a stone spiral staircase from the ground floor - footsteps on this are easily audible if you were having a lie in. This was not a problem for us as we rise early!
Breakfasts are excellent with a wide range of options. One can eat a buffet dinner in the hotel in the evening with a wide choice of food at a reasonable price. We ate here once but sampled other restaurants during our week long stay. Nautilus and Kingfisher are both excellent places to eat.
We stayed in the middle of March - the Sa Figura restaurant and main pool area were out of commission as they were being extensively refurbished. This was not a problem but the noise from the work was intrusive at times.
The spa and indoor pool area is lovely and a real sun trap.
There is ample gated parking if you are driving.
The staff were delightful - polite, happy and always very helpful.

I am sure we will return!

Nice place but watch out of sneaky pricing

The hotel is very nice, the service just so so. Restaurant service a bit slow, room service is a bit sloppy and doesn't clean very well. The overall location is great however and the hotel is lovely. What annoyed me is that they charged us almost 400 Euros for having our small child stay with us using the existing bedding. I mean seriously, there is no overhead for them but they charge you outrageous prices for extra person in the room even small children. For that reason alone, I won't come back.

Elegant Hotel in parklike surroundings

The stay at Es Port was wonderfully tranquilizing. Elegant hotel with beautifully arranged parklike gardens and pool. Nice public areas i side the ancient building.

Wonderful setting

Beautiful historic building, with fabulous seating areas inside and out. Nice looking pool and restaurant, shame it was raining so we didn't use it. Very extensive breakfast buffet with every imaginable choice. Room was a little basic/dated and it was a shame the 'double' bed was just two singles pushed together

Nice place, great location

The hotel is well located in the center of Port Soller, just a block off the beach. I stayed in a room in the \"old\" section. It was clean, well maintained, albeit pretty quirky (i.e.- 4-inch wide sinks, a \"dungeon\" lock on the door, and a bizarre \"box\" next to the bathtub that had a clear plexiglass top that looked down into a stairwell below). It was all-good, the staff and facilities were very nice. The breakfast they offered was excellent.

Convenient location with good facilities

Surrounded by gardens and very quiet. Offers a very good value, help yourself buffet - although we hadn't booked all inclusive we ended up eating there every evening.

Excellent Hotel in great position near to the port. Great choice for breakfast and friendly staff. Holiday marred by no air conditioning as it was turned off for the winter. Tried to explain they should forewarn people on their website when the air con is being turned off but were confronted by young receptionist who told us it was winter season and she had a jumper on!! Need to train their reception staff in customer service.

Beautiful hotel which I just can't fault

Absolutely beautiful hotel and so relaxing with lots of different seating areas inside and out. The evening buffet was €20 (not including drinks) but was really good and the chef was there cooking in front of everyone. The staff were great, rooms very comfortable, spa lovely, breakfast amazing. There are several steps up to it from the road so anyone who finds steps hard may struggle a bit but it's not too bad. Otherwise you can drive up to the front door from the back road. Very handy for buses (5 minute walk) to Soller/Vandemossa/Palma. Loads of very nice restaurants along the seafront only a few minutes walk. Really quiet on a night. Not the cheapest hotel but you really do get what you pay for. We will return.
