Booked a room for 3 people, 1 double and single, but only the double was available, management made up a trundle bed to accommodate the extra person. The shower was dirty with mould.

Had an amazing stay. Excellent service, comfortable beds and big rooms. AC is not that powerful but is comfortable. Food is good and breakfast has good variety. Overall highly recommended for people coming for expo at JIEXPO centre.

The room is quite big... but pretty uncomfortable. WiFi keeps getting server not responding and have to keep asking for ID and password. Room amenities is quite basic. First room that I am allocated had the single bed so shaky. Change room but still pretty similar

The hotel location is easy to find something to eat even at night. But the bathroom is terrible. Every time you flush the toilet water leaking from the side and every time you shower the water did not drain fast so there is water pooling on your feet..gross. They only give you 2 towels in the room even though we booked for 4 peoples..no towel for face or hand. We have to ask to housekeeper every day for extra towel.

I enjoyed my stay very much ... eventhough i was bitten by bugs the whole night during my sleep room 4143 i am so tired that i slerp through. i did talk to the front desk but they just said ok. Hahaha maybe they don't understand my pain i would live to come back ith my family the next time

Not a lot to say other than Hotels.com need to standardize WORDING when describing accommodation. Kitchen/Kitchenette to me is all the same; turns out not to be. Duped into thinking room was other than it turned out to be. Will not make the same mistake again. Of course Hotels. com did nothing about it when I called.

Hotel is quite OK but music blaring until 4 AM

I booked this hotel for the convenience of travel time to the office. The room was good and the amenities within the hotel are quite good. The problem with the hotel seems to be a club that is on or near the premises that blares music which resounds on the bed until 3:30 - 4:00 AM. I hardly slept the 2 days I am there.

A very nice Hotel with options of Indian Food.

I am travelling quiet frequently to Indonesia and this hotel suits me in every way. The rooms are quite spacious, good swimming pool, Nice Gymnasium and most important Indian Foods available without any difference in taste.

I will visit again.

Good hotel!

This is the only I have ever stayed at Manila. I have been coming here over the last 10 years and it is always delightful.

I have observed however, that the place is beginning to show signs of aging and the staff seem to be more brusque and business like this time rather than naturally cheerful which was one of the reasons I always wanted to go back to Shangrila.

2nd time for me to stay in 4 months. Since it is too far from Airport, it is advised to give pick-up and drop service. it was a great stay and again I will be visiting this hotel in Oct 16 for the third time in a year. The price I got was exceptionally reasonable.Staff exceptionally courteous right from gate to the reception.

This time round my stay was awful. When I checked in, there was this big crowd of people. Second, when I went into the lift, a group of very TALL people rushed in. I found out later they were teams of different countries competing in U16 basketball tournament. Then, these people would run along the corridor playing catch. My mistake to choose the lakeview than the given poolview because there was this entertainment place blasting its music into the wee hours of the morning. Well, everything else was like before. The balcony never seems to be cleaned - at all. My check-out time was 2pm but was told without prior notice that I needed to check out at 12pm because they have accepted other guests at that time :(( Totally marred!!!

nice hotel though it may be a little old. Very spacious rooms and manage to get room rates at half the original walk-in price. Children will enjoy the stay since room is spacious enough for them to play and run about.

Overall the Hotel is Nice!! But I was Disappointed with Hotel Facilities it was old and the hotel management has to imrpove it. I'll like the size of the rooms Sunlake Hotel offered me & the Hotel Staff are nice too.

Nice hotel a bit off the beaten path

Enjoyed my two days at Sunlake Hotel. Room very large and comfortable.
Nice work out room and large 30 meter pool to swim laps in.
Only negative is the shower does not have hot water but only warm water at best.
Over all I would give the hotel high marks for comfort and cleanliness.

Besides a few minor issues, (cups were a tiny bit dirty) was unsure if bed sheets got changed regularly. Overall, very pleased with what you got for your money, huge hotel room, fantastic pool, great service, nice food - i'll sure be going again at this price.

it is good per price, but need renovation.

Because there are many bad review on this hotel, I had made a reservation for sweet room. the room was very large, there were super extra space even bed, sofa, and desk was there. it has small kitchen. but every facility is very old and outdated. they said they serve 24 hour room service but nobody answer my call. they give us pass word and id for wi-fi but the password is changed everyday. I need to call every morning to ask them reset their system. (the reception was also not picked up the call in early morning). Even if I hang up 'do not distribute' on my door handle but reception call me around noon to ask me room cleaning.. I have to wake up to pick up the phone)
They were five star hotel 20 years ago and now the complete things (not only their facility but also education of the employees) need to be impoved to get back their star rating.
If I think the price, their rate is OK, price is similar with IBIS style or FAVE but much better options(ex. large swimming pool, room service etc)
