Nobody there when we arrived.
Booked a room through Hotels.com around 8-9 in the evening. Got confirmation thst we had a room waiting for us.
When we got there, the reception was closed. No room for us. No information when we booked that this was the case. The confirmation email says welcome to your room, all is good.

Very bad experiance.

Had to drive a lot more, 2 motorcycle, rain and late at night to find a place where the Staff actually also work in the evening!!!

The Doors are open and the lift is open so anyone can come in to to hotel that is very low security
But at checkout the staff showsup to say goodbye
Better to say welcome and have a control over the the hotel

Overall expetience was good. Check in was easy, but the bathroom was dirty with hairs all over the floor when I got there. Reception made sure I could have another room as they said it was too late to get someone to clean. The second room was clean - rooms overall are basic but clean. There is no conditioner, only a combined body/face wash/shampoo. Bottle of water was provided in the room. Breakfast was really good considering it was included in the price of the room!

Reasonable hotel for a night or two

Reasonable hotel to stay in for a night or two. Rooms are relatively basic and not particularly modern, but comfortable for a night or two. One big point to note is the rooms have not air con so summer would be a nightmare staying here, was hot enough in October let alone August. Not to far from the centre of town, its just a short drive. There was also free parking as part of our booking but I did notice that some people had to pay for parking, so would be worth double checking. Reasonable stay if you prefer a proper hotel instead of a guest house.

Convenient and Comfortable

The room was comfortable and the breakfast that was included was excellent. We enjoyed the buffet dinner on Sunday night; salad, soup, a choice of two main courses, and dessert at a very reasonable price. It was an added pleasure to find a bus right outside the hotel that we could take into the Centrum (bus ticket available at reception).

Be aware of hidden charges!

We have been returning guests for many years. However, the last visit made us feel as if we were no longer a guest, but a victim of a money grabbing scheme.

1) Last year they charged 7.50 Euros for pets per night. This has increased to 15 Euros. Most hotels charge between 5-10 Euros. 15 Euros is extorsionate especially as their rooms are equipped with hard flooring and not carpet, so it requires little to no more work for the cleaners.

2) They charge a parking fee in a small village/town which is in a safe area and do not offer security barriers or security guards for this charge. It again feels like extortion.

3) You charge for internet for anything over 100mb. Any other hotel I visited in the last 2 years (And I stay in average 60 days in a hotel / year) has not charged me for internet. Regardless whether it was small individual hotel or a hotel from a large chain like IHG, Marriott or Hilton.

4) The mattresses have been replaced by new ones. This sounds great, however they are so hard that they are very uncomfortable which resulted in a sleepless night and back pains.

We have written to the hotel and have suggested to offer mattress toppers or a different kind of mattress to ensure guests a good night rest.

Good for parking and close to town

Well I booked 2 rooms with double beds and got single beds on line it shows a kettle and there wasn’t one so had to keep asking for hot water to make cup tea the fist morning went for breakfast they run out of rolls and qwasants this also happens second morning I asked why this is happening and was told the work man come early and eat it after complaining next morning was ok so I think on my next trip I will find outher hotel Yours Christine

Not a free Internet as advertised

Hi, there were two surprises for me when arrived, first even hotel advertise free internet it has a cap of 100 MB after that you will be charged for internet. second is the hotel in a remote location and still charged for parking. So if I knew these facts I would not have booked this hotel.

Pleasant experience, I would stay again, unless I could get in the centre of Celle, as taxis too and fro cost a fortune when you add them up. The room was clean and tidy but the beds were uncomfortable and the quilts were too small; the room was roomy enough but it would be nice to have tea and coffee facility in the room. My kids hated the pillows, luckily for me, I brought my own with me. It would also be nice to have had a shuttle service to the hotel from the airport as getting it from the hotel was very expensive so I had to shop around.

The breakfast was the best part of the hotel; plenty to set you up for a busy day, lots of choice, scambled/boiled eggs, bacon, sausages, toast, fruits, salad, yogurts, cereals, cakes, crusty rolls and bread; all very fresh. Lovely selection of cheeses and good quality cold meats -a wide range of drinks too. I think this was my kids favourite part.

A Very Pleasant Stay

After a hiccup at check in when only one room had been reserved instead of our pre-booked two, we were allocated the additional room and went on to have a very pleasant stay in a well appointed, clean hotel with friendly staff. The breakfast choice was excellent and we were able to eat outside on the terrace making the most of the sunshine.

Nice hotel in the middle of Celle

Upon arrival the hotel did not have my reservation through Expedia, but no worries, they had a business room available and quickly checked me in. Later on they found the reservation. Hotel was easy to get to and is located in a residental area. The resteraunt at the hotel was fantastic and had the dinner was excellent. Not many choices, but the food was unique and delicious. Breakfast buffet oneof the best.

Great place for Hanover business!

I stayed at the Tryp hotel during Cebit 2011 exhibition. Location is very convenient - in 'just' 46 km from Hanover Messe.

Very good rooms and beautiful surroundings. Town Celle carries ancient soul of Germany and is great place to stay and walk around!

Acceptable for Celle yet nothing special

The hotel seems to be a bit out-of-date; of course it looks like a standard Tryp hotel (they seem to be the same all over the world); however if you take a closer look, you will find many spots on the floor; it looks a bit worn-out. Yet, it is quite remote from busy roads, so sleep is quite ok. Distance to train station approx.. 1,5 km. Distance to city centre: approx. 3 km

Der aufenthalt war schön.
Allerdings einiges anders als in der Beschreibung. Rezeption nicht 24 Stunden besetzt, sondern von ca. 10 bis 16 Uhr. Den letzten Drink an der Bar gibt es zwischen 21:40 Uhr und 21:45 Uhr. Restaurant ist nur für Gäste mit halb Pension. Einfach abends ins Restaurant gehen um was zu essen geht nicht.
Hatte dieses Hotel leider Aufgrund der Beschreibung gebucht und war daher schon enttäuscht.
Personal jedoch sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend.

Der Empfang war freundlich, aber verhalten. Man fragte uns, ob wir evtl. Ein anderes Zimmer haben möchten, da wir ein Zimmer mit getrennten Betten gebucht hätten, was wir auch so wollten, fanden das aber sehr nett. Frühstück war sehr gut. Die Sauberkeit im Zimmer ist zwar ok., aber könnte besser sein.

The hotel is OK, but the restaurant is closed and no other near by. It’s a 40 min. walk to the Town center, so walk one way and take a taxi back (10 €). The room was OK, and the corona-breakfast is basic, but good.

Kein entspannter Aufenthalt

Die Mitarbeiter an der Rezeption hatten meine bereits bezahlte Buchung nicht gefunden. Sie waren zwar freundlich aber mit der Situation völlig überfordert. Nachdem ich mich über die ewig dauernde, ergebnislose Suche beschwert hatte, kam ein 3. Mitarbeiter hinzu und wir erhielten dann doch ein Zimmer. Das Zimmer hatte sichtbare Gebrauchsspuren, besonders das Badezimmer, es war aber sauber. Da es sehr heiß war und es keine Klimaanlage gibt, mussten wir mit offenem Fenster schlafen. Leider hatten wir die Fenster in Richtung Terrasse, so hörten wir die fröhlichen Gespräche der anderen Gäste bis spät Abends und früh um 6:30 ging es wieder los. Ärgerlich war ein Traktor oder Bagger am direkt anschließenden Haus, der von 8 bis 8:25 irgendwelche Arbeiten verrichten musste. Es klang wie auf einer Baustelle.

Desværre var der fest for cirka 100mennesker i hotels
Foyer med meget højt musik indtil kl 23.30 den anden juledag så at man troede der stod en højtaler foran værelsesdøren på tredje etage:(
Man blev hverken ved booking eller ankomst informeret om det...
Derfor en meget dårlig oplevelse!

Shönes Hotel in Celle

Wir haben eine Nacht hier übernachtet. Es ist ein schönes Hotel....angemessen für seine 3 Sterne. Etwas Außerhalb von Celle, aber der Bus hält genau vor der Tür und zur Not ist man in 29 Minuzen zu Fuß im Zenztum. Das Frühstpck war sehr gut und das Personal sehr freundlich!

Med varmerekord i Europa, blir det feil å skylde hotellet for varmen...men rommene var veldig varme! Byen Celle er rolig og koselig. Flott liten badekulp i sentrum. Hotellet er litt gammelt, men helt OK. Rengjøringspersonalet var fantastisk.

Der Umgang mit Gästen steht hier an erster Stelle. Sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend und wenn Zeit auch zu einem kleinen Gespräch bereit. Das Frühstück ist sehr gut, aber die Produkte nur normal gewesen. Die Zimmer haben eine mäßige Ausstattung und keine Klimaanlage oder Lüftung.

Hotel und das Frühstück waren besonders gut und genügen selbst höreren Ansprüchen, da auch Tiere mitgebracht werden dürfen. Das vom Hotel angebotene Kopfkissen war allerdings nicht sehr komfortabel. Das sollte verbessert werden. Besonders gut hat uns die Lage in der Nähe des Bahnhofs gefallen.

Alles in allem war alles okay, es war sauber und ruhig, die Ausstattung zufrieden stellend. Die Innenstadt ist fußläufig zu erreichen, allerdings ist der ca. 30 minütige Weg nicht sonderlich attraktiv, spätestens für den Rückweg empfiehlt sich ein Taxi. Das Frühstück war reichhaltig, aber was die Zutaten angeht eher von mittlerer Qualität.

Det havde sikkert været rigtigt godt hvis man havde vidst der ikke var aircondition på hotellet. Vi havde kørt fra Italien og ankommet til hotellet om aften og der er 37 grader i celle den dag. Der var utrolig varmt på værelset og vi havde en hund med der slet ikke kunne finde ro pga varmen. Vi vælger ikke at overnatte der men kører de sidste 600 km hjem i stedet for, da vi begge vidste vi ingen søvn ville få i denne varme.

Vi har med 2 overnatninger været meget tilfredse, der var god plads til 3 voksne på business class værelset. Med vores bil kørte vi til Südwall parkeringshus, og så var seværdighederne indenfor gå afstand, og vi fik set det, vi ønskede. God oplevelse, og prisen var rimelig.

Check-in betjente ikke gæsterne i den rækkefølge de ankom. 1 ansat skulle klare alt, selvom der var flere ansatte i området. (Det er ikke mit bord). Der var ingen i receptionen da vi ville checke ud og det varede adskillige minutter indtil en ansat ankom. Han havde været i restauranten for at hente morgenmad. Igen var der andre hotelansatte i området, men efter forespørgsel mente de ikke, at det var deres opgave at hjælpe.
Wifi. Man kan få gratis adgang til en phone/ ipad, resten skal man betale for. Småligt.
Meget irriterende, at man skal betale for parkering.
Det er som om man skal hente ekstra penge ind på de små ting. Meget irriterende.
Atmosfæren er dårlig og vi kommer ikke igen.

geen antwoord gehad op mail om de boeking te annuleren. op 22 mei rond 18.00u de boeking gedaan, geen bevestiging gehad van `t hotel TRYP Celle .De boeking was voor 26 mei.
