Would definitely stay again
Stayed here for a few days whilst at a tradeshow for work. We were lucky we had nice weather and the hotel ground were beautiful. I sent some items to be delivered to the hotel which were already in my room on arrival! Good service and comfortable rooms. Would definitely stay again

NOTE - the negative review on staff does not refer to reception staff, who were lovely.
Lovely place next to a lake, but watch out for aggressive mosquito bites.
The premises and room were nice, both receptionists were nice and friendly, but the German gentleman who appeared to be in charge did not demonstrate suitable understanding of the fact that in the hotel industry, you don't just offer a product (bed and breakfast) but also a layer of service layer on top.
Examples of where he failed on the service front included not helping with information on where to get a coffee after breakfast time, hesitancy of providing a cot for a toddler (sic \"it needs to be made\" = I will only bother if you insist, which we didnt)), disapproval looks when checking out too close to checkout time \"have you forgotten something?\" and more interestingly, choosing to use the leave blowing machine next to our car, and in our car's direction, as we were packing up to go with a toddler on board (I had to ask my husband to stop the on boarding process and close the doors to stop the dust blowing into the car. If you want your customers to leave quickly, you just blow them away!)
So, back to product versus service, if you work in the service industry and you don't intrinsically care for your fellow humans, you could at least think of repeated business, word of mouth, or preventing constructive Expedia online reviews, like this one.

We had to stay for one night as a pitstop on our way from Denmark to Croatia.
This little hotel is great for this kind of stay, it was so pretty and so clean all over - elder but great. The beds could be better, but it was okay for one night.
The staff at the breakfast were so kind and they were fast to help us find to high chairs for our twins so they could sit with us by the table.

Kleines, aber feines Hotel. Es ist sehr sauber und ruhig. Das Frühstücksbuffet ist sehr reichhaltig und gut. Es wird ständig nachgefüllt. Großer Komfort ist nicht vorhanden, aber es ist soweit alles vorhanden, was man braucht. Die Lage des Hotels ist hervorragend, fast direkt am See.

La struttura è meglio che in fotografia. Posizionata in mezzo a un bosco, offre la possibilità di godersi un gran relax nella tranquillità più assoluta. Le camere sono ben tenute e pulite; il personale ospitale e discreto. Se cerchi il vero riposo qui lo troverai!

Bra övernattningsställe. Allt perfekt förutom restaurangens öppettider. Om man nu har konstiga öppettider, bör detta framkomma på sidan. Ska ni boka, ta reda på om restaurangen har öppet. Blir till att köra in i närmsta by annars och då kan man lika bra boka där! Vi kom ca 1820 och restaurangen stängde 1800! Ingen ställde upp, så det var bara att köra in i byn för att äta efter sju timmars körning ifrån södern.
