This hotel chain is always a good option for a one night stay, especially if you are in town for a concert or if you need an affordable overnight stay near an airport for an early morning flight. Always clean and well staffed, the Hannover location did not disappoint in any way. They even kept the bar open very late for all of the Guests that had attended the Pink concert, which was appreciated! The neighborhood is not the best, but the tram station is literally a block away.

A nice and basic accommodation suitable for business travellers on a short stay. It is located a short tram ride away from the Hanover Main Station, with restaurants and supermarket within walking distance. I enjoyed my stay there, with no issues!

I was staying with a group of colleagues visiting fire departments in the Hannover area and the hotel was ideally situated just north of the city and almost next to a tram station. I found the staff extremely helpful and friendly, the breakfast excellent and the room very comfortable. I would be hard pressed to find any fault with my stay and I will certainly go back to the hotel the next time that I am in Hannover. I'll give it 100 per cent.

This was my first time I use Ibis hotel. Clean and basic. Friendly staff. Overall good stay. I booked room for 3 people - 2 adults + 1 child with breakfast included. NOT HAPPY at check out when we have been asked for extra pay for child breakfast 5.50 euro. It wasn't mention before at any point (when we booked or when we check in). Answer was that we had some kind of room where only two people can have breakfast - don't get it!!! We had 3 beds in room, but breakfast for 2? - dunno! And we paid for bowl of cereals and cup of tea €5.50. (maybe some children eat more, but it not the case)

I spent five nights at Ibis during a trade fair. the hotel is not luxurious but offers clean rooms and an adequate breakfast. it is also well located. Overall I had a pleasant stay and would recommend it for the business traveller.

People smoking in the carpark and smoke drifting in to my room. Smoking place situated by the hotel entrancnce. Room walls very thinn don't keep the noises away at all. Carpark and breakfast not included in the price for a hotel room. Room doors very very heavy therefore get slammed badly regularly making it impossible to sleep at night.

A good hotel 30 minute walk from Hannover center , trams stop just outside hotel and cost 1.5 euro , so everything is easy to find . Plenty of places to visit and lots of great shops .

All About the Location!
Convenient links to city centre, comfortable hotel
This hotel is very close to Hannover city centre. By using S-Bahn lines 1 & 2 (Red line) you are just 2 or 3 stops away from your desired location. (Ibis is Dragonerstraße stop) Links are frequent with no more than an 8 minute wait inbetween S-bahns up til 11pm. Hannover HBF is 3 stops away. HBF is huge and has many options in terms of food & shopping - as does the city centre of course. Also, the Zoo is only 1 change of lines on the S-Bahn away. City centre, HBF & Zoo are all in Zone 1 so very convenient price wise. For €9 you can get a day ticket for 2-5 people, so very cheap. Or you could even splash out €25 on a Niedersachsen ticket which allows 2-5 people to travel anywhere in Northern Germany (Lower Saxony) - we visited Bremen and a little town called Osnabruck. Hamburg is another option, all within 1-2 hours train ride - just make sure to get the Regio (RE) train as the ticket only works on these trains. The reason I've not mentioned the hotel yet is that the greatest part for me was its location. However the hotel had friendly staff, free wifi in the lobby (but €9 for 24 hours in-room). The hotel offered bar and food service, we never tried as links to restaurants & bars/pubs in city centre were so convenient & were so much more competitive in terms of price and food choice. Hotel was quite modern, very clean and everything (TV, shower, hair dryer etc) worked as it should. Would definitely stay here again if visiting Hannover, definitely recommended.

The actual rooms are extremely small and the two single beds I had booked had to be pushed together because there was not any room to seperate them. I understand and appreciate the environment however only having one small towel each was not great when trying to towel dry hair also. There was not enough room for two people to sit in chairs to watch tv. I was disappointed with the lack of security systems when there was an attack on a woman who came running in the hotel asking for help as 4 men chased her in. There was only two men on reception and I did not feel safe and protected all night. The location of the hotel is also not great as a good 20min walk to the centre with all of the shops and restaurants.

The hotel had large American size rooms and was very comfortable. The major draw back was the quality of their resturant and the location. The hotel was not close to down town and no resturants within walking distance.

This hotel is basic, but an excellent value. The cost for a one night stay in a double room (2 adults) was very low, and so I was expecting a closet-sized room that was dirty. I was extremely happy to find that was not the case at all. The room was relatively big compared to other European hotels I've stayed in, and it was very clean. The room had a flat screen tv (added bonus). The beds were also very soft and comfortable. The bathroom was a decent size and very clean. The bar downstairs was nice, and breakfast (although not included) was delicious. We were very happy with our stay, and we plan on looking up other Ibis hotels for our future travels.

Praktisk beliggenhet like ved Ubahn, så veldig praktisk å komme seg til/fra selv om det ligger utenfor sentrum. Det å påstå at det er AC er derimot en liten, hvit løgn: det er et anlegg som sender inn noe frisk luft, men det er satt en grense på 22 grader, som gjorde at anlegget slo seg av ila natten og kom aldri på igjen. Det ble derfor varmt og klamt på rommet, selv om anlegget ble skrudd på før vi gikk og la oss

Die Zimmer sind sehr klein und das Bett ist sehr unbequem. Im Zimmer ist einfach eine art Badezimmerkabine in die Ecke gestellt worden so wirkt es wie in einem Wohnmobil. Das Frühstück ist ganz okay aber es könnten noch mehr Obst und Gemüse vorhanden sein. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und stehts engagiert.

Der Boden dreckig, an der Wand alte Spuckereste und im Badezimmer lange dunkle Haare auf dem Boden und in der Dusche - sehr eklig!! Und wenn man im Bett liegt und dem Nachbar beim Toilettengang zuhören kann, dann ist das auch nicht sehr angenehm. Kann ich echt nicht empfehlen. Wem Sauberkeit egal ist und er eine günstige Unterkunft sucht, der wird hier auf jeden Fall fündig.

Preis/Leistung ist soweit ok. Frühstück ist für den Preis auch in Ordnung. Leider wird es aber am Frühstücksbuffet schon eng, weil räumlich einfach zu klein bemessen. Die Handtücher waren zwar sauber, sind aber offenbar sehr lange im Umlauf und und deshalb sehr dünn und nicht weich.

The hotel is quite nice, rooms are comfy and the breakfast is great. However our room smells bad during the entire stay, especially in the bathroom. It seems it came from the sink. Moreover, the hotel is located just near a road so you can hear cars during the night but it was not especially disturbing for us.

Wunderbare Reise! Hannover besticht durch die Theater. Vom Hotel ist man innert 5 min mit Tram vor Hotel in der Altstadt wo die Theater und Restaurants sind! Ich war im Gop Theater! Rund ums Hotel hats auch Restaurants ein Schwimmbad Fast Food Shop und alles! Saubere Zimmer und sehr freundliche Mitarbeiter an Rezeption und Bar!
