Hotel is just a minute’s walk from Hbf in a good area for shops. It is comfortable enough but the decor and carpets are looking a little tired and worn. Breakfast is expensive for what it is.

Nice hotel with excellent staff, good location, and a GREAT restaurant. Parking was easy for inner city and everything we wanted to see and do in Hanover was withing easy walking distance. Rooms are a little dated, no a/c, but we were comfortable nonetheless. Cannot say enough about the restaurant and bar because it was a huge surprise. The two best meals we had on a week-long trip throughouth northern Germany and service was outstanding.

This is not a four star hotel. My suite is in need of total renovation. The sofa bed was dirty, stained, and the metal bars where the bed folds out exposed. The carpet was badly warned. The combination bath and shower leaked terrible. The room didn’t have large towels or promised bathrobes, and I ask for those. I had to ask for them to be delivered to the room. The front desk staff was nice. They should be given the opportunity to work in a nicer, cleaner, renovated hotel.

This is no longer a 4 star hotel. It badly needs to be renovated. The furniture was very old. The sofa in my room was a very old sofa bed and the metal poked out…The carpet stained. The walls had yellowed and had marks on them, and needed painting. The shower door doesn’t close on the bathtub and water went everywhere. Even the towels they have are old with holes in them. I also had to ask for extra towels to mop up the water after showing…It is in an excellent location right by the Hauptbahnhof, and all the restaurants. It is not a four star hotel.

Had a great Monday to Friday, based here for the Euros, great train hub (trains are not always on time) the city is nice and very walkable, 20 minute walk to the park and football stadium taking in the views. Would definitely return, also minibar was free

I stayed for a week while visiting family. The hotel is beautiful, my room was spacious and so quiet, although just a minute away from the station. Staff were helpul and welcoming, by the second day, I was being addressed by name when going for breakfast and asked if I would like my usual pot of coffee or something else. The range of food available was excellent. Other touches that demonstrated your custom is valued are the free minibar and snacks, replenished daily, slippers provided and large bottles of their lovely body lotion given away. The most lovely touch however came on the middle day of my stay, when a lovely lady delivered 'a present' to me. A printed card, in my native language with my name and the signature handwritten, hoping my stay was enjoyable and encouraging me to speak to staff if anything could be improved, accompanied by a delicious apple cake! Such attention to detail will certainty ensure I return!

Great location that is 30 seconds walk from Hannover Hbf. Front desk staff were very helpful with my luggage that Lufthansa lost en route to Hannover. However, I booked a twin room and they were out of them so they put me in a single but charged me for a twin room. So check your bill carefully here !

Just Not Good Enough – So Many Problems.
This place was bang-OK. The problems were many. The single room is tiny (tiiiiiiny), with an ageing shower that vacillated between hot and cold with German efficiency, no air con in a heatwave, situated in an area of Hannover that was extremely noisy through the night (with the windows open as there was no A/C), the walls between the single cells, I mean rooms, are so thin my neighbour's gentle snoring was audible, and his choice of TV station discernible at 6.30am, and almost as annoying was a key card lock that failed every day – literally every day. When you're on the third or fourth floor going up and down to try a key each day (one day it failed 4 times) this is a major pain. I'll score this place generously but it was not a highlight of my trip to Germany and I'd avoid this hotel at all costs if you're even tempted to stay in the cell for one.

This hotel was totally fine for a 2 night business stay. It’s literally across the street from the train station and is a good hub for whatever business you might have. The only thing is, it claims to be a 4 star hotel. I have absolutely no idea how it came to get that rating. The facilities are comparable to an average three star no frills hotel. The inside of the hotel is worn, scuff marks on the walls, and the carpet is in bad need of replacing on the stairs and throughout the hotel. It’s just not that nice.

This hotel was amazingly good value. It's location is superb, the room was clean, the free minibar was a real bonus, and the sound insulation from outside was remarkable. Drawbacks are that there is no air conditioning, so if its hot it wouldn't be comfortable.

Great location! The hotel is in the Ernst August Square, which is shared with a large shopping mall, and the central train station. The old town is only a ten-minute walk. The staff was wonderful and friendly and the breakfast, which is included, is amazing! The mini-bar is free although it only has water, juice, and beer.
The largest drawback is that the hotel needs new carpet and upholstered furniture. There are stains and wear throughout.

We had a fantastic stay in a central location, a shout stroll from the train station.

This is our third time staying there. Fantastic services, staff goes extra way to help and accommodate any needs. Very clean, bedding is comfortable, room is quite big. In room bar has free drinks - water, juice, beer and restocked daily. Location is excellent. The food in a restaurant is phenomenal. Thank you, management and all staff - for fantastic job you do!

I never give reviews but this stay was so bad I feel I need to - lift broken ,key card never worked on door so spent my time up and down the stairs …interior shabby , bed uncomfortable and really small , noise levels terrible , room not even adequate with regards plug sockets and towels etc …only good thing was location …

We loved this hotel. We had a suite which was so comfortable, so nice to have a sitting area. It’s a lovely old hotel that has all the modern conveniences. Our suite had a soaking tub. Overall, not a bad stay, had some issues with the WiFi which I had to communicate with the staff several times. The room I was in could use blackout curtains, and a safety lock on the door. I thought the breakfast was too expensive to partake in since there was much cheaper options not far from the hotel. I chose this hotel because of it's location as it's directly across from the Hauptbanhof and easily walk-able to attractions, dining and shopping.

Spent four nights at this hotel in mid September. The hotel is perfectly situated in the city of Hannover and near everything! Shopping, restaurants, trains, taxis, etc...
The hotel rooms are what you would expect for Europe. On the the smaller side, but the silver lining is that the bathrooms are reasonably sized.
Windows opened to get a nighttime breeze and a fan was in the room to keep the air moving around. They stock the mini bar with water, orange juice and a beer each day for free.
The spread for the breakfast buffet was awesome. Lots of good choices and everything cooked perfectly.
While the indoor bar is a bit cramped, they have an beautiful outdoor seating area.
