We chose the Dormero Hotel because it had EV chargers on site. It did indeed, but they don't work. According to the staff, there is only one that works correctly, but throughout our stay, it was connected to a car with a Hanover number plate and was therefore unavailable.

for the price, the room was nice and the bathroom was remodeled recently, which is nice. The parking is €19 per night, but it is nice to have parking on the property. Makes it very convenient. I would stay here again.

Friendly greeting on arrival. Room was clean, comfortable and well maintained. Complimentary drinks in mini fridge an unexpected bonus as was the tea and coffee in reception. Breakfast was well stocked with continental and cooked breakfast items. Beds were extremely comfortable.

The hotel is conveniently located just next to the Schlaegerstrasse subway stop, some 5-7 minutes travel to Kroepcke and Central Station, 10 minutes walk to Sprengel museum and Landesmuseum.
Rooms are spacious and comfortable, bathroom is good and clean.
The only minor issue may be lights - not one chandelier, but zones, but it really is a matter of taste.

we took a standard double room for 350 Euros per night, the room was very small, no more than 30cm of space on the sides of the bed, a small desk, no wardrobe except a couple of hangers. physically there was no room for the suitcases anywhere other than leaving them on the floor and climbing over them to go to the bathroom. We asked for a slightly larger room. At reception they told us that the rooms are all the same and that they were fully booked. we invited the receptionist to check the measurements of the room, she came up and replied, the room is really small, we'll change it tomorrow. The next morning there is no water to take a shower. At the reception we pointed out the promised room change and that there was no water in the bathroom. In the evening they tell us that they won't change the room because it is the same as the others and there was no point in changing them. plus they didn't have other rooms and that the problem was only our problem, there was a bed for 2 people so we had to make it work, even calling me a liar because they had the room checked and the water in the afternoon was ok. After several attempts (I raised my voice a little) another receptionist comes out and warns me to call the police. I agree, I say, call her willingly. He replies that they would have agreed with the hotel because they are German and I am not. I convince the other receptionist to check the room, she goes up and comes back saying the room is really small, and she change it.

We liked this location very much and stayed here many times during our trip. The staff was extremely friendly. The room was clean and the bed was comfy. Adjacent parking was very convenient. Definitely recommend.

Visiting Hannover with friends and we ended up staying at this hotel on three different occasions with side trips separating them. Staff was very friendly and wi-fi was good except for a couple of outside rooms which seemed to be just outside of range. The hotel isn’t located right in the middle of things but within a mile we could walk to everything we looked for.

Hotel that is great but let down by too few staff!
This is a very good hotel but let down by there simply too few staff at key times e.g. check in and check out. They offer no in room tea/coffee facility but instead offer this in the reception. But at 7am all the cups were dirty and when eventually I had to get one from the breakfast area the coffee was cold and less than a dribble left. I raised this with the young man on reception, who I insisted dealt with the German man, who was keen to check out as he needed onward connections, before me. As we departed at around 8am the dirty cups and coffee I noticed were being replaced i.e. an hour after I'd complained. On a positive note the room was great with an excellent shower and probably one of the comfiest beds we'd ever slept in. The parking is very good and at 18 euros per night not overly expensive. The location is easily walkable for the lovely city centre which was very good.

It's a really nice property. Very clean with big rooms and the option to either park on property or find free street parking close by. The free mini bar is a nice little perk.
It's about 20 minutes walking distance from the city center but there's an U-Bahn station right next to it.
While the staff was very nice, they weren't very responsive. I tried to call a few times on the day of our check in to ask when our room would be available but nobody ever picked up the phone. When we called from the room for a maintenance issue, nobody picked up either. We went down to the front desk to report the issue and were told somebody would come to fix it, which didn't happen either.
Other than that we had a great stay and would definitely come back.

Haus aus den 80ern, war bstimmt mal ein gutes Business Hotel, wirkt aber abgewohnt. Es gibt ne Sauna und einen Fitnessraum. Das Personal ist eher uninteressiert an den Gästen und mehr fokussiert auf das eigene Handy. Zimmer haben ne angenehme Größe, Bad ist funktional und ok. Möbel haben viele kleine Beschädigungen, Matratzen sollten mal ausgetauscht werden. Sauberkeit hat noch Luft nach oben. Heizung/Lüfter laut. Frühstück kann man genießen, aber fur den aufgerufenen Preis nix besonderes. Für eine Nacht ok, aber nächstes Mal buche ich mich anderswo ein.

Zimmer hatte wegen Rauchgeruchs geöffnete Fenster, was bei den tiefen Minusgraden für eine vollständige Auskühlung sorgte. Die Heizung in Form der Klimaanlage hat den Raum nach Betreten um 01.00 Uhr nachts nicht mehr warm bekommen.

Das Hotel ist modern und gut mit öffentlichen Verkehrsmitteln erreichbar. Im Eingangsbereich befand sich ein Stand mit Wasser, Tee und Kaffee zur kostenlosen Bedienung. Die Zimmer waren modern und sauber und hatten eine gute Grösse. Leider waren die Zimmer viel zu warm temperiert (21-22 Grad) - die Temperatur war leider auch nicht zimmerweise regulierbar. Der Fernseher schaltete sich leider nach kurzer Zeit immer von alleine aus. Alles in allem ein tolles Preis-Leistungsverhältnis und absolut empfehlenswert.
