Final stop on our road trip around Europe, and like all the other hotels we used, this was excellent. Parking was easy and straightforward, and the hotel is 15-20 mins walk from the centre of Hannover.
Our room was clean, comfortable and well appointed, and the breakfast and dinner was excellent too.

Lovely location looking over the lake. It's a very nice hotel but was surprised there was no room service, and as we checked in quite late the only option to get a snack was a small \"shop\" in the lobby which didn't really stock anything particularly appealing. The fitness room was not extensive and the sauna was only operational during certain times, which unfortunately was outside the time I would have been available to use it.

Excellent hotel, staff are lovely and rooms are nice particularly if you request a lake view. Good location. 10minite walk to the nearest tube, 15/20minutr walk to the centre and shops, 30 minute walk to main train station or obviously you can get the tube. Would Defo recommend and stay again. We were there on a family city break for the Christmas markets and went to see the Harz Mountains too using Hannover as a base.

Worst cheap hard bed in a Courtyard Marriot ever

In the past I've usually had good beds in Marriots. However this hotel has thin hard cheap mattresses that feel like I'm sleeping on a carpeted floor, pillows were cheap with lumpy foam pieces. Staff also put me in a noisy room at the front of the hotel on the main street after I had specifically asked for a quite room, couldn't sleep much at all. If it weren't for the rooms being modern and clean this hotel would be rated a low 1.

Great Lakeside Hotel

The Courtyard Marriott is a great hotel right next to the Maschsee, which is certainly one of Hanover's nicest features. If you're looking to be right in the center of the town this probably isn't the best bet because it is just a little bit out of the way, relative to, say, the main train station and the major pedestrian zone. But the view of the lake is absolutely beautiful, and I had such a lovely afternoon sitting on the terrace drinking a glass of wine and watching all of the people go by. So if you've got a long weekend in Hanover and you really want to relax, this is definitely the place to be. Overall the hotel is quite well-equipped and in a very good state of repair. Pretty much up-to-date everything.

If you don't need to be in the center of Hanover I recommend this hotel. 25 minute walk to train station. Hotel is bit pricey though.

Beautiful neighborhood, lake and museums close by.

I was visiting for the DOMOTEX trade show and the accommodations were very good. Shuttle service was provided free of charge and the U was closeby as well. The staff was extremely helpful and the restaurant \"Julian's\" was excellent.

Not ideal to say the least

We arrived very late around 2 am or so. There was no one to get our bags after our very long trip. We can to carry and drag the hotel cart on our own even though there was hotel personnel there. Not very welcoming! the bed were very tough and uncomfortable.
Not much around the hotel but a nice view of the lake. Service even at the restaurant was below average.

Great location, great value for money

I managed to get a very good deal on two nights on Expedia. I was hoping to see the lake from my room but unfortunately I was put in room facing the HDI stadium - fortunately for me there were no games on the weekend I stayed there. I could see the Ferris Wheel on the Schoetzen Platz - that was pretty.
Overall - very pleasant stay.

Pleasant location and good service.

Located next to the man made lake, this hotel offers better than average facilities in a pleasant location. The rooms are of a good standard and suitable for business travellers, The sports bar located in the hotel offers a good selection of beers and adequate food choices. The location is made more appealing in the summer as there is a substantial eating and drinking area outside and overlooking the lake. I would recommend this hotel.

The staff were very helpful. We especially liked that they had their own bicycles for rent (5 Euros a day) which was even cheaper that the CityBikes. Rooms was very nice and comfortable. Slept very well. Excellent location right on the Maschee. The staff were very helpful and informative.

Try to get a room overlooking the lake. Internet was actually free, but this may not be obvious from the booking. Excellent breakfast. Good room - standard Marriott. There was no English entertainment channel - I think they should provide at least one channel with English-speaking films. Nice big bed.

I stayed here one night as I was passing through on business. The hotel was extremely clean and modern looking. I enjoyed my room very much as it had very large bay windows to overlook the city. Located right next to the picturesque lake was very nice. The hotel is also next to a futbol stadium. Next time I'm around I'm hoping there might be a game so that I can catch it. The fitness room was OK. This was the only part of the hotel that could use renovating with newer cardio machines and weights. I only used the weights and opted to run outside around the lake because it was so gorgeous. Great 3.68 mile loop around the lake.

This hotel has perfect location when travelling by car. Newly renovated room that even smelled brand new, super spacious and luxurious. Beautiful location by the water and open parking across the street. Excellent value for money. Unfortunately we arrived late and checked out early so we didn't have time to enjoy our stay as much as we would have liked, but would love to stay again in the future. Highly recommend.

OK, men plads til forbedringer

Det er måske lidt hårdt at bedømme vores ophold som OK, da personale var meget søde og hotellet som sådan var rigtigt fint og havde gode faciliteter, men jeg havde booket et værelse med byudsigt, men ud af vores vindue kunne vi kun se ind i et mur (til konferenceafdelingen). Så der var ikke meget byudsigt :-(

Prima hotel, er ontbreekt niets. Nette kamers, vriendelijk personeel. Standaard Duitse keuken, maar de beef burgers zijn zo goed dat we deze 2 avonden op rij hebben gekozen. Gelegen direct aan de Maschsee, een geweldig uitzicht en altijd een lekker sfeertje rond het hotel. Aanradertje, als je Hannover nog niet kent.

The food at the attached restaurant is ridiculously expensive and quality/taste below average. Waiters are so friendly but extremely slow (hardly any tables were filled with guests), we had to go to them, wanting to pay (after we got up, starred at them, pretended to walk away..).

Hopefully hotels will start considering putting 2 chairs at a desk. We are both working.

Schönes Hotel mit fantastischer Lage am Maschsee. Leider nur kostenpflichtige Parkmöglichkeiten in der Nähe. Während Veranstaltungen im Stadion und auf dem Schützenplatz natürlich etwas laut, absolut schalldicht ist natürlich kein Fenster.
