The staff went above and beyond for us during our stay! The hotel is incredibly historic and charming. I highly recommend adding the breakfast to your stay. Jena is an absolute gem of a city and we would love to stay here again!

When I said something to the desk clerk, she offered a lame excuse - she said that some laptops just don't connect very well, but phones do connect well. That was wrong, neither device would connect. When I checked out, I mentioned it to a different clerk, who apologized. The water in the shower kept cycling between too cold and too hot.

Ich habe für ein unheimlich kleines Zimmer 81€ ohne Frühstück bezahlt, obwohl ich schon 3 Monate vorher gebucht hatte. Bezahlung wollte man sofort, ohne dass ich das Zimmer gesehen hatte. Das Bad hatte max. 2qm, das Zimmer ca. 4qm. Ich habe noch nie in einem so winzigen Zimmer übernachtet. Es befand sich in einer Abstellkammer, wo normalerweise bzw. früher die Gerätschaften und Utensilien der Zimmerreinigung untergebracht sind/waren. Ausblick war auf eine Mauer 1m gegenüber. Man hört Geräusche von den darüber und darunterliegenden Zimmern und der sehr lauten Klimaanlage. Das ausländische Personal war sehr freundlich, das deutsche Personal eher reserviert und gar nicht serviceorientiert. Parkplätze des Hotels sind zudem kostenpflichtig (9€ p.T), Frühstück kostet extra (17€). Von den 4 Sternen habe ich nichts gemerkt, bis auf dass die Einrichtung ganz hübsch war. Kein Pool, Sauna, Wellness u.ä. Insgesamt halte ich das Hotel für völlig überteuert in Anbetracht der winzigen Zimmer (Abstellkammer) und Extra-Kosten. So wurde ich beim Auschecken auch nicht gefragt, wie es mir gefallen hat. (ich war immer freundlich und hatte mich nie beschwert) Nie wieder!

El hotel está perfectamente situado y es cómodo. El restaurante está muy bien, tanto para cenar o comer, como para desayunar. El estilo en general es clásico. Creo que tuvo tiempos mejores y le haría falta una reforma, pero por otro lado no está mal respirar un ambiente típico del este antiguo. tja, das Einzelzimmer sah aus wie vor 35 Jahren. Sehr nostalgisch. Wie in der guten alten DDR. das Bett war sehr klein aber ich konnte super darin schlafen. Das Bad ist so breit wie die Dusche, also sehr sehr klein. Es war sehr sauber und aufgeräumt. Wenn man sich wieder zu DDR Zeiten fühlen will, der sollte dort übernachten. Frühstück war hingegen super klasse, sehr edel hergerichtet und sehr lecker. Eigentlich war es sehr cool, wieder in die alten Zeiten einzutauchen

sehr sauberes und ordentliches Hotel. Das Einzelzimmer war einem Hotelzimmer gemäß eingerichtet, allerdings ohne jegliche Accessoires. Dem Hotel insgesamt sah man an, dass es früher mal ein gehobeneres Hotel - auch von der Ausstattung - gewesen sein muss, allerdings hat man keinerlei Neuerungen eingeführt. Das Zimmer und auch das angrenzende Bad waren sehr sauber. Über Frühstück und sonstigen Service kann ich nichts sagen, da ich mich lediglich zum Schlafen dort aufgehalten habe. Das Personal am Empfang waren freundlich, aber nicht \"überschäumend\". Für meine Zwecke war es okay.

Der Aufenthalt hat voll und ganz unseren Erwartungen ersprochen. Der Service war ausgesprochen gut, das Zimmer in einem tadellosen und hervorragenden Zustand. Es gab während des Aufenthalts keinerlei Kritikpunkte. Beim nächsten Aufenthalt in Jena werden wir das Hotel auf jeden Fall wieder buchen. Die Lage mitten im Zentrum ist ideal für Erkundungstouren. WLAN im Zimmer war zuverlässig und schnell.
