Comfortable Stay in a Good Location\n

I had a pleasant stay at this hotel — it was comfortable, with a spacious room and a great location just a 10-minute walk from the main center. The overall atmosphere was relaxing and the bed was very comfortable. I did notice a few minor issues, such as some dirty marks on the floor and small stains on the bathroom towels, which could be improved. That said, the positives outweighed the negatives, and I would still recommend it to others looking for a convenient and comfortable stay.

So I booked a family room ( 3 beds ) and pre paid it was for me and my son only but I wanted a bit more room

However when my son checked us in he was told we was going to have a standard twin as there was 2 of us only , unfortunately he used the room before i arrived so we I couldn't really change

First time I ever been downgraded

Also beware car park charge too they don't tell you it beforehand

From the day 1-4 I did not have a hot water.
When I said I don’t have a hot water in my room the front desk person said “we know”
And this was the answer for 4 days.
I was not even offered a free coffee for the inconvenience.

Nice and convenient

The room was fine (Rooms in Europe are smaller than the US) but bigger than some I’ve stayed in. The included breakfast was great and the staff were friendly and attentive. I would definitely stay there again.

Good hotel in a great area, easy to get to train station, tourist areas and bars and restaurants. Great shower and excellent breakfast.
Only shortcoming was the duvet was tiny. Didn't cover the bed and slightly affected sleep

Perfect spot away from home while on business

This is a simple hotel - but it is very nicely decorated and quite clean and restful. The duvet was a bit small but the bed and room were overall very comfortable. Great water pressure in the shower - clean and bright bathroom. One downside- I was not allowed to check in until 3 pm, so that was a bit uncomfortable after a red-eye flight from the States.
There is a chic bar/restaurant downstairs with a friendly bartender and various people (mostly business travelers). Food at the restaurant is excellent - but it would be nice to have a late night menu. The neighborhood is quiet and somewhat removed from the more busy central part of Hannover. There are a few decent restaurants and cafes within a short walking distance. The subway is a short walk (~7 min).

We had made a reservation through Hotels.com to stay at this hotel because it was close the HDI Stadium. When we got there Hotels.com had not booked us in and there were no rooms available. The manager of the hotel was fantastic and found us another room at a sister hotel ... But be warned about Hotels.com. This sort of thing should not happen.

I stayed for three nights and was out of the hotel alot therefore it was very handy to know that when i did want to go to my room everything was perfect .i did not eat there as i thought i could get better value at the eating places in the centre,the food at the hotel did look very nice though

Decent hotel. Spent three night here.

Pros - Nice bed, great pillows. Very reasonably priced. Excellent value. Free wifi works really well. Close to several metro stations.

Cons - housekeeping start knocking before 9. Can hear others in the hallway but otherwise very quiet and I slept well.

Functional and reasonable location

The hotel was functional and the bed was comfortable. It had one of the best showers I've used, very powerful. It was fine for an overnight stay and reasonably close to the Station and town. The reception was keen to give us information on the sights and a map. I did not use the restaurant or have breakfast but it did look very nice and appealing with fair prices for a hotel

This is a modern hotel with many facilities. The staff were very friendly and spoke excellent English; my German is basic, but passable.

Hotel was lovely clean and friendly staff, have stopped at Mercure in Warwick in England was also lovely no issues at all.
We had Two rooms booked with you the only problem with room 414 was the door kept jamming. Little bit of noise from outside whilst sleeping due to building work.
Other than that no problems will visit Mecure again

Staff friendly and very helpful. As we are unable to speak German we found their English was very good. The rooms were a good size, they were very well maintained and the bed was comfortable. The price was very reasonable for the standard of the facilities. A quiet and peaceful stay.

Hotel staff was extremely professional and helpful. My luggage was delayed 3 days, and they helped me in many ways: providing necessities, locating stores, notifying me of my baggage arrival. They were very helpful with taxi service, as well. I recommend this hotel to anyone staying in Hannover.

Quiet hotel reasonably close to town centre.

Mercure Mitte is reasonably close to the centre of Hannover but is nevertheless in a quiet street overlooking a small park. The breakfast choice is wide, with plenty of healthy options as well as a cooked breakfast. Bed comfortable, bathroom clean and easy to use (some have taps which are complex to understand). I was disturbed by the TV giving a wake-up alarm at 6am on my first morning, presumably a hangover from a previous guest. Perhaps the staff could add it to their checklist whenever a guest leaves.

Quiet and comfortable

Great value. Hotel was clean, the room was spacious and comfortable, there is free wi-fi,and the staff are friendly and helpful. 15 minute walk to the main train station, and easy and quick metro connections to the garden and zoo. Some colleagues stayed in the downtown area, and found it noisy and difficult to sleep. No problems here, as it overlooks a park. We had a heat wave and the AC worked great!

Very Close to Mitte City Centre,

room Facilities were very accommodating, although the there were not enough international channels on the TV, when requested the hotel staff for a spare HDMI cable they did not have any. The location is extremely close to the city centre a walk through a small park and you're there.. The Internet is free but the speed is limited I recommend upgrading if you would like unrestricted internet access.

Very pleasant hotel

I was given a very comfortable, quiet room. I had no problems with my room. Breakfast was excellent. The underground is just a few minutes away, but one can walk into the central city in 20 min or 15 minutes to the main train station with luggage. Staff were great - one was a fan of my local rugby club, the Crusaders!

Excellent central hotel for visitors

We were visiting Hannover for the first time and chose your hotel as it was central. We were very happy with our stay - our room was a good size and very comfortable.

The staff were helpful and when asked gave us advice of where to visit. The dining room and breakfast choices were excellent and we had a nice evening meal as well.

We would recommend the hotel to anyone visiting your lovely city.

The use of the internet with printer attachment was particularly pleasing and enabled to print out our boarding cards.
We found the pillows not to our liking and the queen size bed was bouncy.

Hannover Mercure a delight

We really enjoyed the Mercure Hotel Hannover Mitte. We were within easy walking distance of the Altstadt where we visited the wonderful Christkindlmarkt. The hotel was clean and the room set-up was perfect. The staff were very knowledgable and helpful. The breakfast was overpriced, but very good. We were so impressed we decided to join the Mercure members club!

Only used for overnight accommodation, so cannot comment on facilities, except for the room which was clean and adequate, though the beds might be too firm for some tastes. Good location, but hard to navigate to due to extensive roadworks. Don't rely on satnav to get you to the door.

Clean rooms and clean deisgn

Hotel was open late (around midnight) for checkin. All is new and clean. Room looks much better than any USA hotel I have seen, good modern design. Breakfast seemed very expensive and I did not use it. Ssome lego for kids in common area downstairs.

The hotel is about 10 minutes from the main autobahn, but is within an easy walk to shopping and restaurants.The whole hotel had newly installed tasteful carpet. The hotel has above and below ground parking. If you sign up to get a Mercure card, your parking is discounted by about 36%; there may be other benefits as well. Our room was very pleasant and had an electric water pot and an assortment of instant coffee and tea. The TV was an LCD or LED and was of good size. The bathroom was very clean. Overall, we were very happy with the location and condition of the hotel.

Well positioned hotel within 5 minutes walk of railway station and centre of town
Billed as a business hotel but we were there to see our son who is spending a year at the university.

Breakfast is 17 euros, go across the road and have a good breakfast for 7 euros or even Karstadt dept store in town does wonderful meals.

Room was clean and comfortable and warm and modern
Free Wifi a bonus
Coffee machine in room uses pods (Tassimo) but no breakfast tea, only mint and herbal and coffee=small grumble

If we had to go back I would definitely choose same hotel

Good quality, quiet and comfortable hotel, away from the noisier areas of the city but still within easy reach of the centre and Herrenhausen Gardens.

The only disappointment was the breakfast - 17 euros - it was more expensive than my evening meal there the night before!!! And the croissants were stale. Its cheaper to go across the road to the Cafe Alex, where you can get their breakfast buffet for 8 euros.

The Mercure Mitte is a decent hotel within reasonable walking distance from the Hannover town center. Our room was clean and quiet, a little small but comfortable for 2. Staff was very friendly and helpful. A great buffet breakfast was available for 17 Euros (there's a less expensive option available across the street at Alex's). Parking was available on a surface lot behind the hotel for 11 Euros. Wireless internet was available at no extra charge. All things considered, this was a good choice for our needs and we would stay here again.

Very Good Hotel

Well appointed hotel, clean and smart. Staff very pleasant, no trouble printing our return tickets. Good sized room. Quiet location.
On the downside, the hotel restaurant was well overpriced, so we did not use it. There is a bar/restaurant almost opposite called Alex, which was reasonably priced and acceptable standard with a good choice of menu. The other thing we found annoying was \"elevator\" music playing in the corridor outside the room from 7am to 10pm, this could be heard from within the room - 7am on a Sunday is no joke!
On the whole a very nice hotel, which one could recommend.

This is a very nice hotel, the room was spotlessly clean and comfortable, if i was to be critical i would say the wardrobe and draw space is to small, and the charge for breakfast (euro 17.50) to large. I did not eat their breakfast so i can't comment on value for money, we walked into the town centre( about 5 mins, if you go the right way) to the department store Karstadt who have a very nice restaurant on the 6th floor, where we ate breakfast for about euro 4.50. Would i stay there again? Yes but only if my favourite hotel (the Stella) was full again.
