Extremely lovely staff, clean rooms etc - didn’t like that the report wasn’t fenced off, there was lots of poor stray dogs that slept under the bungalows. If this doesn’t bother you then book it.

Before arrived, i texted the hotel to arrange transport, very convenient and price to airport 600THB. Van super comfy and not sharing. At check in, receptionist brief about hotel and escort to our room. They decorated the room as per request with no extra charges. Borrowed their adapter as I forgot to bring mine, no charges as well. Just remember to return them back. Iron also available however they have limited unit. So if have cloth to iron, request early. Free shuttle to Ao nang beach, no worries. Or you can just walk. Behind hotel area theres a mosque and halal food area. Only that there’s a mosquito but they prepared the repellent. Keep your door close all time and if you taking kids with you, bring extra preparation.

Dated but comfortable hotel in a nice setting

Slightly dated hotel, could do with some upgrades. We enjoyed the 'jungle' setting and a short walk to the night food market with lots of choice. Shuttle provided by the hotel is convenient, but only 1 way. Breakfast wasn't great, frequently running out of food and mostly cold.
Staff were very friendly and helpful.

A disappointing stay!

Too far from beach. Hotel is deserted...only 4 of us stayed. We check out after first night. The place has no security. The room with dbl bed has water leaking from the ceiling after a heavy rain at night and wet the comforter. We found white particles scattered on d floor, could be from the celing.

Ants. Lots and lots of ants

It seemed ok at first, the staff was very friendly. Major language barrier, so if you can't handle that this us not for you. It's definitely aways from the beach. The room I booked was on the canal so the mosquitos were bad. But I guess that's to be expected. It was waking up with ants crawling all over me that put me over the top.

Decent, but a little far out.

Sunda Resort was a fairly nice hotel. The room was nice, the bathroom was not as nice. It is also a little ways from the beach area. They do have a shuttle that can take you down every couple of hours, but you have to find your own way back.

We were warmly welcomed and looked after during our stay. The kindness and helpfulness of the staff was the best part of our stay here. The facilities are adequate but worn down and could do with a spruce up. Nice pool. Close to the main beaches. A few bugs and lizards around and loud prayer from the nearby mosques.

Few things;
We were the only people at the hotel.
Muslim hotel no alcohol permitted.
Didn't seem or feel safe.
Hospitality was next to zero. We checked out within an hour so it was a waste but in order to feel safe and not spend another moment in this place we checked out.
The shuttle services run to beach at specific times or u can have them shuttle you for a fee per person.
We came down abt 5 min after shuttle time mind you it did not leave and we were only ones in hotel and were still charged also we were not picked up at agreed time and had to pay for a tuk tuk to get back! We had the tuk tuk driver wait for us while we gathered our belongings and left.

Hotel concept was good, but several minor items that need to be repaired in the room were not done during our stay. Hotel do not have much ameneties, e.g. no ironing equipment / area. Hotel does provide halal restaurant for muslim travelers and breakfast at the hotel were quite acceptable & convenient.

The resort quite far from the baech

Air con inside the room is very hot even the temperature is 16\"c..abit disappointed about the swimming pool,very small..but I like the resort natural environment..like jungle..staff quite friendly and helpful..I ask the staff help us to call tok tok at midnight cause the shuttle only until 930pm the he ask the other staff send us go to ao Ming beach... I suggest better rent a motorbike there just ant 250Thai Batt per day..

Booked hotel to have romantic valentines day, asked for queens size [large ]bed, We got 2 uneven size single beds pushed together, shower area large enough , but not tiled, just cement floor & walls, bathroom area was not fully enclosed letting insects & mosquitos in. Hotel near muslin temple got woken up 5am most mornings. Lucky hotel has free transfer to beach & main shopping area, long walk just to the nearest beach , got red eye from pool.

Cheap but inconvenient in many ways.

The hotel is far from everything, they have a shuttle service but it's still inconvenient. The breakfast is ok but it gets old quickly, they serve almost exactly the same every day. The wifi was less than ideal in my room. Because of the jungle theme, there are tons of bugs everywhere. The staff was helpful when asked but wouldn't go out of their way to aid you otherwise.The hotel is cheap (considering everything is more expensive in Krabi compared to other places in Thailand), I'd honestly recommend spending a little more and stay elsewhere.

This was an horrendous hotel, it all looks very pretty when you arrive, but that goes downhill pretty quick once you get to your room.

The bed had stained linen, the base makes a noise every time you move. The toilet door has a bolt on the outside, so makes you think that the place is unsafe. Bathroom very primitive, there is no aircon in the bathroom so its hot in there, you are not allowed to flush toilet paper down the loo, it must go in the open bin, The bathroom is not a sealed, so all creatures can get in. Floor had a broken tile which i cut my toe on. the shower was dreadful, shower curtain looked like it had not been changed since the place was built, it was rotten with stains and mouldy.
The restaurant is outside with a roof on it , a nice touch, but fails terribly. We went for breakfast only once, bugs and ants can get to the food as the was not food covered up and there was ants and flies all over the food, the cakes were covered in them. The food looked like it had been there a good few hours before we got there at 8.30 for breakfast.
Free transport into Ao Nang is needed as the walk is far, and on returning you need to get a tuk tuk, as the road to the resort has no street lights. Asking for a ride to Ao Nang beach always made us feel like we were putting them out.
All in all it made our stay in Krabi not a good experience, We checked out 2 days early and returned to Bangkok.

The quiet atmosphere of the hotel

Hotel may not near the beach or center of Ao Nang but hotel provides shuttle to both area. Recommended for people looking for more quiet and serenity area. The room itself is spacious and complete with air conditioning, kettle, mini bar and tv with limited channel. The bathroom is unexpectedly spacious too. Shower is in open space with no tiles which gives a rustic vibrant. Breakfast is delicious with limited variety. Muslim should not worry to enjoy the breakfast as this hotel is halal certified. The staff is helpful too. If your tour is late to pick you, just ask the staff to call them. Don't bother to booking canal room as the canal is not beautiful as the picture depicted.

Chillaxing at Sunda Resort

We stayed at Sunda Resort for 3 days. The resort is located a short tuk-tuk ride from Ao Nang. We loved being surrounded by the sounds of nature and felt very relaxed during our brief stay. The staff were friendly and the food at the restaurant was quite tasty.

Deep, Quiet and Serene Sunda Resort

As it is like Resort, one should not except it like an hotel.

It is located quite deep into a sub-urban very off the noisy and crowded street. So meaning to say, if you need to yourself out on the street, the resort staff are more willing to help ferry you out which are inclusive but provided it is before 9;30pm.

Having to say that before 9:30pm, the resort staff did an exceptional ferry for us as we check in late for the first day and are starving and where the only place to feed ourselves are on the street.

Overall the resort are fine nice quiet surrounding and environment where you could hear the cries of crickets in the night.

A little too out of the way and pretty rude staff

I don't think this was worth the money we paid. Hotel is well out of the way from everything, though the offer for drop off/pick up into town was great and we used it quite a few times. Breakfast was pretty terrible but you'll be able to find something to eat and hotel staff (aside from the guy driving the tuk tuk into town) we're not interested in making anyone's stay more enjoyable. Just a so-so place to stay.

Awful. Awful. Awful.

After seeing rating of 4 star I thought this hotel should be pretty good. It wasn't!
- Rude staff. Seem distracted all the time.
- They cannot speak English well. Takes a while to communicate with them.
- Wifi was really bad.
- Bathroom has a half finished look to it. Also floods badly after each shower.
- They provide no food and drink. So when we first arrived we had Pringles and cups of tea for dinner. They did not have any other food on offer. And sell no drinks. We would have ventured out for food and water but we did not know where the shops were and did not want to venture into the dark streets only armed with a torch.
- As the beach is quite far away they provide a free shuttle service which is useful. Major problem with the language barrier for the shuttle back as we needed to phone them but we always got there in the end. Usually they only took about 15 minutes to pick us up apart from one time where the car saw us, drove past us and drove away. 48 minutes after the initial call we were picked up. No apology or anything.

Pros:
- The outside area looks pretty cool with the jungle theme.

Sunda Resort is over rated

This is a budget hotel/motel. I say motel,because there is very little service on offer. The rooms are clean but the ensuite is not up to standard. It's effectively an add on extension with basic concrete floor and plastic roofing. F&B is low end. Buffet breakfast is inadequate. The hotel is essentially Muslim and offers no bar facilities, which was never mentioned in previous reviews. The long 20 min walk to the main road makes it less attractive than other similar star rated hotels. Probably best suited for back packers.

One Night In Sunda

We decided to Stay one night at the Sunda Resort the night we arrived in Thailande. Our flight land at 2am and our holidays resort was booked only for the day after so we sent few e-mails to Resort to see if they have 24h reception and ONLY Sunda replied. From the airport to the hotel in the middle of the night, we didnt have any choices and take the only \"fake\" taxi for 1000 Bahts. The reception was nice and explained us everything, we entered a cozy room with a HUGE bathoom and very clean. The wifi was free and the room equiped with fresh water. The breakfast is served until 10, and we went around 9:30, I have to say that is the only bad comment I will give, it was very small, everything was on open air to insects, the coffee was really bad...There was a swiming pool but we didn't have time to use it. On Saturday there is a local market nearby with amazing Thai food and a free taxi to the city. I recomend this resort for the price and the quality1

Not bad but wouldn't stay again

This hotel was okay. While the staff were nice, the room was just okay. My husband and I requested one queen or king size and ended up with two singles pushed together which were uneven, leaving a gap in between which was quite uncomfortable.
The roof is also metal and squirrels run on it in the middle of the night and it echoes loudly in the room. The resort is also located next to a mosque that chants over a loud speaker very early in the morning. I had to wear earplugs to drown out all the noise to get some sleep.

Wonderful for families

It was generally a nice stay for a family. Swimming pools are small but clean. Environment is generally, but sometimes there are some sort of performance nearby at midnight... However, I heard from other people who stayed near beach that it was much noisier there. So I was glad I chose this place.

The resort is a bit far from the beach. It said 10 mins walk, but it was difficult when it was either hot in the day time or dark at night. So the best way is to get the free transfer from the resort. When you want to go back, you have to call the resort. We didn't get a local sim card, but the Thai people are really nice. Usually we just borrowed a phone from the restaurant and managed to get back.

Nice place to Stay.

The Stay was nice. In the beginning just had few glitches, but it was quickly resolved by the staff.
Just a suggestion the canal which is inside the hotel, if it will be cleaned regularly the canal side room will become a nice room to stay in the hotel.

All in all the experience was nice.Appreciate the hotel staff and their work.

If stay here again.

We had a really nice stay at the hotel. The bungalow is very roomy with a large balcony (we stayed on the canal side) and a large bathroom with lots of room to leave beach clothes to dry.

It was cleaned thoroughly and everything we needed was provided.

Breakfast was good and there was variety. The hotel is very beautiful with green trees. We visited one pool and it was great, perfect for our two year old.

The staff wasn't outstanding, but everyone was helpful.

They have a free shuttle to the beach, although you can easily walk. The hotel is basically across the street from the Muay Thai gum and that was a plus.

Just don't book a ferry to Phi Phi because you can get it cheaper on the beach.

Comfortable Stay

I found the staff at Sunda very helpful and polite. The drivers (free hotel shuttle) were always happy to drop us off at Aonang / Nonparathara areas. Pick up from these areas back to the hotel was easy. The driver usually arrived within 10 mins of a phone call. Thai Sim card was cheap to buy at local mini marts.
Room was comfortable and air conditioned. We had adjoining rooms ( 2 adults/ 2 children) which overlooked the pool). The bathroom was OK but the \"outdoor\" look was was not well designed as it looked unfinished.
The 2 swimming pools were nice but not large. Enjoyed our swims after dinner .
Breakfast was very average. Small selection and many dishes catered to Asian palate ( Eg Fried squid in chilli). Though toast, pastries, yoghurt and cereals were also available. Laundry service was good at 50 baht per kilo. Quite cheap and clothes came back next day, folded.
Wifi was available from our room but staff had to reset for us everyday as it dropped out. Though not a problem for them and they were happy to assist.
Also had a coconut oil massage (Preeda Massage) and she came to my room. Good service and good price.
We did not eat at the hotel restaurant at night as there were too many choices in town.
TV channels were Thai with only 1 news channel in English which kept us up to date with latest world events.
Overall, the hotel was in a forest setting with abundance of plants. Very tranquil and calming.
A good stay at a reasonable rate.

Treated like a vip

It seems we were the only ones there when we first arrived, hence it feels like we were VIPs. The nature surrounding the very rooms made it feel really calming. Facilities worked well. The beds were really comfy. The best was the transport service available to and fro Ao Nang beach. We can just call them up to fetch us anytime (from 8am to 9pm) and it feels like we had a personal chauffer esp since there were noone else to share the ride with. Slightly disappointing was the breakfast. Since there were few of us, there was't actually a buffet but just an a la carte menu. It was still ok though..

great surrounding, close to nature

the villas are surrounded by the nature. one can really hear the sounds from birds and insects. a lovely atmosphere for those who love nature. the hotel has 2 swimming pools but 1 of them is closed when we were there probably due to low season. although the hotel is quite far (in terms of walking) to the ao nang centre, it provides free shuttle service for both back-and-fro :)

Misleading pictures

Other than the outside walkways this hotel has some totally misleading pictures. In reality the rooms are comfortable but the en suite needs completing. They have one half tiled and looking nice but The rear wall and the shower have a plaster finish (not so nice). But the worst part is the shower floor that looks like it has had a wall removed and you can see the brick at the concrete level in the floor. Totally lets the bathroom down and gives an unfinished/work in progress appearance along with the unsealed tin roof.

The resort is in middle of farm, 10mins drive from Aonang beach. They have free shuttle service. Breakfast is good. However the area is swarmed with lizards running everywhere (both inside & outside room). Asked for a queen size bed, they put two single bed and joined with gap inbetween. Not highly recommended.

Wonderful getaway.

Peaceful is the word that comes to my mind for Sunda. Staffs are soft-spoken and very helpful. I was very much satisfied with their etiquette and interaction with us. Most importantly the free shuttle from hotel to Aonang and Naoparatha beach was very helpful. Would definitely chose Sunda the next time we visit Krabi. Thanks.

lost in translation

beautiful location but had difficulty with the simplest of conversations. Restaurant was terrible, we ordered starters and main courses.They came out in dribs and drabs one of the people in our party was finished before some had even had starters.

We stayed here for three nights in a pool side room.
We really loved the pool. The hotel is beautiful, with a feel of nature. We enjoyed our stay with the relaxing and quiet atmosphere.
However we were quite disappointed with the toilet in the room as it was left unfinished with part of it still with cement walls and floor.
The staff has been really friendly and helpful with our requirements. There is also free shuttle to and from the beaches.

3 star Hotels with 5 star quality!

A very good resort for couple or family for holidays, located a bit away from Ao Nang beaches but offers tranquility and beautiful surrounding with tropical trees, river and a comfort to muslim as the hotel is Muslim owner and provide Halal food. Receptionist and hotel staff were very nice, and provide good services include free tuk tuk transfer to town and nearest beaches. The room rate also very resonable. Overall, it give more value for your money and a peace to your travel.

Sunda Resort - April 2013

After arriving on a stormy wet night I was initially horrified at the location of the hotel, as I was last to be dropped off by the bus, and it seemed to be miles from the beach. However, after finding a map I realised I was only a 15 minute walk from the beach, and it became even easier to reach when I learnt that the hotel provided transport and drivers to take you anywhere in the local area throughout most of the day. Additionally, they will also send somebody to collect you until 2130 hrs and so you don't need to spend money on taxis or tut-tuts. My room was very clean, and the staff were polite and courteous at all times. For those (like me) who don't travel with a laptop, there is an internet terminal at the reception which can be used without charge. I would use this hotel again. P.S.Learn a few words of Thai and they will be impressed.

All fine as second time stay but only thing Malaysians were making so much noise playing card at verandah facing canal but disturbing all other chalet guests. Called for reception they never bother until I got off from bed at 2am and told them NOT to make noise after I was unable to sleep for 4 hours. Apart from that the place was wonderful with greens, tuk tuk free for any number of trip to and fro resort till 9.30 pm and tuk tuk to beach town is only 60bhatt , breakfast not so good .

we really enjoy our stay in Sunda Resort with great services provided by the hotel staff. Most of the staff can speak english or at least understand english very well and very helpful. They provide a shuttle car to/from the ao nang beach and the pier which is near to the hotel. You could rent a motorbike for 200 baht per day in the hotel, but the motorbike is limited to 4 nos. So, you might want to book it before, if possible. The motorbike rental (there is only one store nearby) near the hotel is 250 baht per day, but you could also rent a motorbike along the road in aonang for 200 baht as well.

A calm and tranquil retreat

Overall a nice place to stay, nice location, peaceful, two 7.11 shops within easy walking distance, plus Thai boxing stadium close by again walking distance, both swimming pools were cleaned and maintained. Reception staff helpful, drivers always fun and smiling, cleaning staff could do with a little push, not the best. and i would reccomend not to pay for the breakfast in advance certainly not the best ( and we are not fussy eaters) if there are not alot of people staying at the hotel you can get a menu (very limited) cooked fresh however if the hotel is full there is a buffet breakfast and all food was cold! although it had burners underneath they were never alight to keep the food warm, if you ask for freshly cooked eggs every morning, they are fine with this just explain you dont like cold food. as we stayed for 18 days we missed quite a few breakfasts that we had already paid for, however the hotel overall is a good base and we would definatly go back and reccomend but would not pay for the breakfast, in saying this we ate there at night twice when we had a storm and food was lovely, it is a muslim run hotel so no alcohol allowed with your meal but we had a couple on the balcony, Tanya the manager is very friendly and always there to offer advice, All in all a good hotel

Acceptable but not stellar

Our visit started out rough, as the hotel was not there to pick us up from the airport. We ended up taking a taxi (same price and easy to book on the spot, so just skip the hotel transfer). Problem being, they still tried to charge us at the hotel saying we skipped out on the ride from the airport. It was not a good start. Our room was acceptable, although nothing special. There is only hot water in the shower, not the sink. The WiFi ended at our front door but there was a computer in the lobby so the connectivity options were there. The pools were very nice and it is a convenient location. 15 minute walk or 10 minute free shuttle to the beach. They graciously provide transportation to the beach at your beck and call, as well as beach towels from the front desk. The staff was helpful in booking tours and transfers to the airport. The food was slightly overpriced but motorbike rental was cheap and fun. Overall, I would recommend this resort with the disclaimer that it is nice for the price, but nothing fancy.

GREAT! STAY HERE!

Brilliant hotel, i would deffinately recommend! The staff are just great more then happy to help you in any way, when we booked this hotel we where worried about the fact the dont sell alcohol but with the free tuk tuk service the are more then happy to take you to buy some! the only tiny thing wrong was the breakfast wasnt that great but thats me just being picky!

Price for this hotel was pretty good....all depends on what you like....its an older bungalow with the resort off the main strip. The bathroom isnt modern and sort of outside the room..connected but with some open air.....this resort is right near the Thai Box Stadium....the great thing about this resort I found was the bellhop ...he new lots about what to do and spoke great english....all in all not to bad of a place I just like modern and new.....rent a scooter if you stay here and you will be fine.

COULD!! be a very nice hotel

Staff and service was very good and very helpful. Cleanliness of main room was very good but the bathroom, in particular the shower area, was very badly designed to such an extent that it was impossible to keep clean or hygienic.

Also the exposure to the outside would not have been a problem if they had put some sort of small netting around the larger gaps in the ceiling to stop the bigger lizards etc getting into the bathroom. To prevent these from coming into the main bedroom the only option was to put a towel along the not insignificant gap at the bottom of the bathroom door.

The free shuttle service into and out of Ao Nang was very much appreciated, however to get picked up was a problem as we could not get through on any of the pay phones along the beach front. Consequently, it was always tuk tuk or walk one way. We are strong walkers and enjoy a wonder around but even for us the distance from the far/main end of Ao Nang back to the hotel was really a little too far. (Tuk Tuk = 30baht ppax)

Breakfast was not great, and remember it is a muslim hotel so NO REAL BACON.

Overall this hotel is OK!! for the cost but be careful if you want a bit more for your money.

This resort is located around 4 kms away from Ao Nang central. This is a rain-forest themed resort and i would recommend staying here only if you can stand an open toilet/bathroom, insects in your room, wild animals around the pool, etc. We stayed at this resort around a week back and found it quite different from how it looks in the pictures. The best part about the resort is the free tuk tuk/transport they provide to and from Ao Nang beach/market.

The points they need to improve on are:
1) Breakfast - The breakfast is in no way close to what they charge.
2) Housekeeping - The housekeeping staff is not u to the mark in their work.
3) Service attitude - My wife was eating a croissant at breakfast and found a dead insect \"inside\" it. We showed it to the hotel staff and they just threw it away. No Apologies, no assurances, nothing.

Good clean room in the forest - for outdoor types

The hotel is located along an underdeveloped road set within a forested area. I would recommend this hotel only for those that are interested and READY to live as one with nature.

The rooms are a haven for ants, flies, mosquitoes and even spiders although it is not an infestation by any stretch. When you sleep at night, the critters come out to play (and the monkeys too, and they can be loud!). Rooms are clean and feel like an oasis in the middle of a jungle.

The bad thing is the breakfast, I have never tasted a bad sausage until now- as in cooked poorly. Tea and coffee in the rooms are not replenished but clean bedding and towels are replaced everyday. The tuk-tuk is a convenient way to get to town. Not much food around the resort and eating-in wasn't as satisfactory as the portions of meat given were modest.

Service wise, I would say is ok if you think of this place as a chalet managed by a small pool of staff with a clean and nice bed to sleep-in. Not much to do at the hotel, went out to town mostly for activities. There are two pools but they are rather small and are better served as wading pools. The reception staff are always handy to help but their command of English is at best lightly conversational (as is many places in Krabi).

For the price, the resort is a pleasant enough stay but you have to be okay with the natural inhabitants living with you first. :P

The restaurant does not serve alcohol though but this was made up by very nice fresh food. It is a little bit of the beaten track but the hotal offers a free tuck-tuck into town and if your not afraid of some exercise it really is walking distance. Would recommend for couples and families but probably not singles who are out to party.

This resort is beautiful, the grounds and the rooms. The staff could not do enough for us, free transfer to Nopparret and Ao Nang from 7am until 10pm, only waited 10 mins for return. Rooms were very stylish, clean, with fresh towels and toiletries each day. We even saw a few wild monkeys outside our room a couple of times. The bathroom was amazing, loved the features. I was worried about the surroundings as I usually get bit by mosquitos but only a couple of bites in 10 days so not bad at all. Take an extension lead or a small mirror with you as the electric sockets are nowhere close to the 2 mirrors. This was only a small issue but worth noting. The safe in the room is free to use. The breakfast buffet was very good value for money and we ate there every day which kept us going until lunch. The food in the restaurant was very good and cheap so if you didn't fancy venturing out after a long day or whilst staying round the pool it was no problem. You can have a fresh beach/pool towel every day at no charge.The pools were small but not many people using them so no problem there, sunbed very comfortable although we only stayed round the hotel once as so many beautiful beaches to visit. The reception staff were lovely, even rang the company we'd booked our trip with when they were running late to check they were on their way. They booked our taxi for the return to the airport which arrived on time and was the same price as local taxis in town. Would recommend this hotel!

mediocre hotel in inconvenient location

I booked this hotel based on reviews on TripAdvisor and was disappointed. The location is inconvenient and hotel's free tuk-tuk pick-up services was unreliable. Room was dark with no comfortable seating anywhere except on the bed. Close to greenery but hazy as farmers were burning staff. Breakfast was unappetizing. Much better choices in Ao Nang center

I would recommend Sunda to anyone

I would recommend Sunda to anyone who wants to stay in the Aonang area and not be right in the thick of it. Getting to Nopparatthara or Aonang is super easy as the resort runs a free tuk tuk whenever you want to get down there. It is also a 10 minute walk to Nopparatthara. And i would recommend to anyone visiting the area to hire a 'motorbike' (scooter) and explore the area yourself (you don't have to wear helmets!). Sunda is a beautiful resort based in a landscaped 'jungle' with a creek running through it. The rooms are great with nice beds, air con, tv, safe and 'open' bathrooms. The pool areas are nice and the pools are always clean. Breakfast is excellent and the open aspect of the restaurant is great in the humid weather. Now on to the best part of Sunda, the staff! The staff are amazing, super nice and helpful. Language was never a barrier and they were always willing to help with whatever requests we had. I would suggest to anyone visiting Aonang to consider Sunda.

We stayed for 3 nights at garden view and have it extended for 2 more nights. They have upgraded our room to pool view when we requested for it free of charge. They provide a transpo from the hotel to ao nang beach but its only from 7 am up to 10 pm. The breakfast is ok but can do better. The staff are nice but some does not speak english. the pool has a jacuzzi like portion. Overall I would recommend it for people who's not really looking for a very luxurious but wants a comfortable accommodation. It is just priced right.

Just a bit far from the beach but the hotel has service to tranfer u to the beach and central and you also call the hotel to pick you up back to hotel.
If i go to Krabi, I'll love to stay here again!

Excellent hotel...a real gem on our trip

The hotel blew us away especially at the rate we got it in.

The hotel staff is really nice and helpful and the rooms are clean and very nice. The hotel as a whole is beautiful and really relaxing.

No alcohol is sold in the hotel but this assures you that there won't be rowdy guests in the hotel. They have a free tuk tuk shuttle that will take you to the main road where you will see shopping and restaurants (less than 5 minutes away).

We just wanted a clean place to stay and relax while being a short taxi distance from town to explore. It's not right next to the beach but the Sunda Resort provides a free taxi shuttle to get you there so that is not an issue. It's actually better to be a little distance away from the crowds and noise.

As for the service in Sunda Resort, the staff doesn't speak much English but they smiled, were kind and helpful when we had any questions. All I really expect when I go to a foreign country. The hotel provides a free breakfast which did the job in getting you started for the day but was very average. They have free internet. The internet service was slow but at least it was useable. The rooms were clean and the air condition worked well when it was needed. The only complaint I have about the Sunda Resort was on the morning we left. For some reason, the stream they had next to their restaurant smelled like a sewer. I know they were in the rebuilding stages but I know guests don't want to be next to sewer water while they eat any meal. The first two days we were there, the smell wasn't as much of an issue but it got pretty bad the morning we left. In all, however, our experience at the Sunda Resort was fine. Nothing special but served as a quiet and clean place to stay before moving on with our trip.

Though the resort is not near the beach but the hotel provide free shuttle service to the beach and we can contact them to pick us up when we are ready to go back. I chose the resort coz they have swimming pools. The room is clean and we are quite happy with their service. The place has a quite ambience. Staff are friendly and helpful.

Swimmingpoolen var alt for kloret - vi fik simpelthen affarvet tøjet i poolen, der var også for lidt vand i, så filteret kunne ikke skimme overfladen. Dette pointerede vi for pool-manden, som blot smilede uforstående.

7 solstole er alt for lidt.

Mulighed for at kunne købe lidt let mad og drikkevarer, ville trække mange flere til pool-områderne.

Ved værelserne er der opsat umagelige træbænke, dette kunne gøres meget bedre, ved at få hynder til.. og et bord, så man kan hygge på terrassen.

Dejlige senge og gode rum, lidt primitivt toilet.
