We had a top floor side sea view room which was very spacious. The finishing were a little tired but adequate. Great pool areas separating children’s pool with adults. Breakfast choice great if you like Indian food however otherwise we found it quite bland. The staff in reception were really helpful allowing us to upgrade smoothly. The main disappointment was that the beach was separated by a busy road and we found the water not great for swimming. Otherwise a great location for exploring Ao Nang.

A great family hotel choice. The location is excellent - there’s a long tail boat station just opposite for easy access to Railay. The night market is a short walk away and there are great restaurants and cafes close by. The swimming pool is great for kids. Our room (family suite) was huge, very clean and the children were very happy with the free drinks and snacks included. It’s not a luxurious hotel, but we were very happy with our choice.

This was one of the most disappointing hotel experiences we’ve had. The room had a very strong moldy smell that was impossible to ignore and made it uncomfortable to stay in the room for long periods. For a hotel that markets itself as a 5-star property, this is completely unacceptable.

Even more concerning was the cleanliness of the bathroom. The shower, bathtub, and toilet were visibly dirty and clearly had not been cleaned to an acceptable standard before our arrival. Hygiene is the most basic expectation in any hotel, and certainly in one claiming a 5-star rating.

The overall condition of the hotel feels extremely outdated and poorly maintained. While this property may have deserved a 5-star rating many years ago, today it unfortunately does not even meet the standards of a typical 2-star hotel.

We hope management takes this feedback seriously and addresses the cleanliness and maintenance issues urgently, because the current condition does not match the expectations set by the hotel’s advertised rating.

Booked a room for our family 16 days. This place is so expensive and room was tiny. One queen bed, then they wheel in a tiny bed that was stored outside for our kids. Drinks, food and events were overpriced. Pool with swim up bar was gross. Can’t see ocean from pool. Not very clean or well kept. Overpriced and terrible value

They wanted immediate pay cash or credit card. I found that very odd and not the norm for resorts. If they fix that it would have be more convenient

Unfortunately, our stay at this resort hotel fell well below expectations, particularly for a property marketed as family-friendly.
The most serious issue was a persistent sewage smell across multiple buildings throughout our stay. This was not an occasional or isolated problem but a constant presence that significantly affected comfort and enjoyment of the facilities.
The kids’ club was very underwhelming. Activities were extremely limited, and the staff showed little engagement with the children. There was minimal interaction, no real structured program, and our kids quickly lost interest. For families choosing this resort specifically for children, this is a major drawback.
We also encountered issues with the room configuration. We had booked a family room advertised as suitable for four adults. In reality, the setup was inadequate: my wife and I ended up sleeping with our 5-year-old daughter in the master bed, while our son slept on an uncomfortable sofa bed. This configuration is not reasonable for a room marketed for four adults and clearly does not meet the stated capacity.

The pool was good with slides for the kids, the room was super small with bad smell thought the entire stay..the breakfast was on the second floor with many stairs which was difficult for us with a crib. The food was low quality and birds were eating from it all day. The hotel staff was busy and unpleasant. We didn’t received any of the ementies that we should including the 20% food and non alcoholic beverages or the room upgrade. Lastly, due to the Christmas celebrations it the staff was very handful with that and forgot that not all guests are celebrating or want to be part of it. One last thing - kids club staff was also very unpleasant

Pros-
Great resort: Good and well kept facilities.

Great F&B: big shout out to the entire team especially Beem, Sunny, Fon, Ging, Wee. Had breakfast here everyday throughout the day and the food was excellent. Great view of the sea here whilst enjoying your meal.

Friendly Staff: The service is excellent. Right from the reception with Ae who was so pleasant and accomodating to every staff you encounter everyday during your stay. Thai hospitality was truly showcased.

Location: The location is amazing. Right opp the beach with easy access. Walking distance from 7-elevens, cafés, spas, and landmark night market.

Cons:

Rooms: if at all there is a letdown it is the rooms. It screams 3 star in an otherwise 5 star resort. Seems to be the only area of improvement the management needs to focus on.

Our family recently stayed at this resort for 2 nights. In our 12 nights in Thailand, this hotel was by far the most expensive we stayed in and we were hoping to have an amazing experience, but didn't. The facility was nice and the employees were kind but our issue was with the room.
On our 1st night, our key card malfunctioned in the middle of the night and shut off all electricity to the room, resulting in our AC turning off and our devices not getting charged. When we notified the front desk in the morning, they fixed the key card and assured us that we would have no more issues. Well the 2nd night, the key card malfunctioned again, but this time all of the lights in the room turned on randomly for a total of 4 times before we decided to pull the key card out. Needless to say all of our sleep was disturbed all 4 times and everyone woke up tired.
We had a shuttle to catch in the morning when we checked out so I wasn't able to discuss our issue with the manager in person, but sent an email letting them know about our experience and asking for them to consider giving us a partial refund for our troubles.
Eventually management emailed me and basically let me know that they were sorry but couldn't offer us any refund. Given that this resort cost us more than double what we paid in any other hotel on our vacation, the fact that we got poor sleep both nights was really disappointing and some compensation would have been nice. Needless to say, we can't recommend this place.

I didn't travel with any childen but
the kids club and children's pool was perfect for families with small children.

This was our second visit to this wonderful hotel and we would return again.
The staff are brilliant and very friendly. They work so hard to give the guests a good time. The grounds are gorgeous and very well looked after.
Our room overlooking the pool and the ocean was well appointed and fit our family of 4. One negative we felt was the price of the extra bed for our daughter.
Otherwise, we love this hotel and would love to return again.

1) The rooms that we stayed in are overall very clean.
2) This hotel has 3 swimming pools with one kid pool that has 3 slides suitable for children of all ages
3) This hotel provides a free daily mini bar refills consist of 4 cans of beer, 4 cans of soda, 2 bags of crisps, 2 kit-kat bars and 2 packets of orange juices (this is super amazing, have not stayed before in any hotels that provided free daily mini bars refills !)
4) there's alot of mosquitoes in our rooms, and outside the rooms balcony areas, if it will be great if the hotel can find ways to reduce the mosquitoes

Family Fun!

We recently stayed at Holiday Ao Nang Beach Resort and had a wonderful family getaway! The location is excellent—situated on the quieter end of Ao Nang Beach, yet still within easy walking distance to restaurants, local shops, and night markets. The beach view from the resort is lovely, though we wished more people were enjoying the beach.

This resort is ideal for families with kids. It features a fantastic kids’ club, an indoor playground, and several pools—including one with water slides that our child absolutely loved.

The staff were generally friendly and helpful. Our room was spacious and clean. Breakfast was decent—not the best we’ve had, but it offered enough variety to start the day right.

One thing we wished for was a recycling area, especially for plastic bottles, to make it easier for guests to be more environmentally conscious.

If you’re traveling with children and want a beachfront stay with great family-friendly facilities, this resort is a solid choice. We’d definitely consider coming back!

I would go back to this hotel. However many places to improve

Breakfast setup was excellent. The enclosure with air conditioning is brilliant

Building 2 and 3 could have linked on 3rd floor for lift access to the 3rd flood of building number 2

Ongoing construction was limited to 5pm but ruined or disturbed day nap pr sleep of the kid

Power was out for 5hrs and in return additional bed cost was free

The floor was an issue. It got wet during the day from what i guess is condensation due to the unit below. Had to use towels but still we slipped on the floor.

The one time free minibar was a nice touch. Thanks for that.

The tray in the bathroom was placed in an awkward way. Needed seperate shelve to place it.

Were no slippers but got 2 when requested

Carrying luggage was easy since we had to carry over steps but duringn checkout help came too late.

The pool is nice. The kids zone is excellent. Did not expeeice the massage. Beach was really close but for sand better to go to ao nang beach.

Hotel is situated right in front of beach and close to Krabi Night Market... Hotel is quite big and rooms are also specious. We stayed in family pool view room. The only problem was there was no locking system to the toilet/bathroom.
Overall the stay for three night was amazing. Staff is very polite and helpfull.

What a beautiful hotel despite the lack of maintenance and a decent pool temperature. When we first arrived our room door would not close without a hotel staff member forcing it shut. All the doors were hard to open and were gaps that let mosquitoes in.

Our bathroom light was out and the staff said it needed more than a bulb. The bathtub drain would not seat and the bath tub would not hold water. (Again another call to the front desk for a maintenance man).

We paid a lot of money for the penthouse suite with a private pool that we could not even use as it was ice cold.

Huge waste of money. The Thai staff was sweet and wonderful though and the breakfast buffet was decent.

The best part of this accommodation is that it is not smack bang in the middle of Ao Nang's main area, which means it is a little quieter. The room with pool access was really nice, and the breakfast was pretty good. I didn't like rollaway beds being kept outside in the hallway; it was a little inconvenient and not very presentable. There are lots of families with children in this resort, so if you are looking for peace and quiet, it may not be your place. At the end of the day, would I stay here again? If the price was right, yes.

This ended up being a very disappointing stay. There were some pros but not enough to make up for the cons. Note, WiFi barely works and cuts in and out often.

Service: Check in was difficult. They were very rude and acted impatient when they were the ones who didn’t have the right rooms for us. They kept trying to make us take a smaller room than what we paid for and when we refused they got annoyed.
When you called for towels or water, half the time no one picked up. If they did pick up and we asked for 2 towels they only brought one or if we asked for 4 water bottles they brought 2 - it didn’t make sense.
Once we were in the lobby and we asked for water and they told us we had to go back to the room order from room service and then wait for them to deliver and then we could come back and hangout in their common area with the bottled water.

House keeping only came and sweeped, made the bed, and picked up our old towels. They wouldn’t refill the coffee or other amenities unless we asked.

Room: The room was a really nice size and clean. The beds were comfortable and air conditioned worked amazingly well. The only issue with the rooms was the water. There was only 10 minutes worth of hot water so if you’re showering back to back with your roommate, one person got a cold shower. Also, the water pressure wasn’t consistent, we would shower either really early or late so it can’t be explained by too many people showering at that time.

Hotel has a wonderful offers to eat in .. discount of alcohol /Combo offers / dessert 50% after 5 pm.
The rooms are spacious, best hotel to stay with kids as they have many activities throughout the day,some are chargeable.
Hotel shuttle is available to the center.
U can book sightseeing tours from outside on the street.
Ao nang landmark market has good restaurants as well... And activities for kids.

Property was very nice. Walkable area around the hotel was enjoyable. Staff was outstanding and extremely helpful any time of day.

I stayed in the room with a private pool. The room was great, however the pool was so cold I really couldn’t enjoy it the way I wanted to. Only went in once in 5 days because of the temperature.

Other than that it was a very enjoyable place to stay.

Nice hotel.

We really enjoyed our trip to this hotel. We had a very nice swim up room which was ideal as it was well away from the children’s pool. The children’s pool could get very noisy. The hotel is very modern and is in a lovely position and it was easy to get to the night market and to the various boat trips that we wanted to go to from the hotel the staff were excellent. One slight criticism is that the staff kept turning the music up very loudly both at the children pool and generally.

Yemek siparişleri olsun, içecek siparişleri olsun, çalışanlarla muhattap olduğunuz her konu da karşı tarafın sizi anlayıp anlamadığını muhakkak teyid edin. Hotelden alışveriş yapmayın. İki adım dışarısıyla iki kat fiyat farkı var. Havuzu çok temiz gelmedi ama kullandık. Çoğunlukla rusya vatandaşları vardı. Genel olarak güvenilir ve sakin bir hotel. Eğlence aksiyon hiç yok. Aslımda bakarsan Krabi de pek yok. Ama Ao Nang Markette her akşam ateş gösterisi ve konser vardı. Orası biraz eğlenceli oldu. Çocuklu aile olduğumuz için çok keşif yapma fırsatımız olmadı. En önemli konu hotelde doktor yok. Eğer özel doktor isterseniz 10 bin ₺ civarı tutar diyorlar ama inanmayın. Biz oğlum için yakınlardaki bir kliniğe gittik bizden 14-17 bin ₺ arası fiyat istediler. The hotel was great for families. There were large pools to play in, green space and it was right across from the beach and surrounded by restaurants. The night market was only a 5 minute walk away.

Wow, this property is stunning. I LOVED our room. The bed was super comfortable, so many amenities and the breakfast buffet has a ton of options. This hotel is right by the beach and super close to the night market as well as plenty of food and shopping options.

We were welcomed by a staff who was not very helpful to us ( she did not give us any info about the hotel, just put one pager in front us to read while talking on the phone). The service at the restaurant for our first night was quite bad. They were very late with taking the order. They couldn’t explain the menu. They brought dirty cutlery for our toddler which we asked for a replacement but they didn’t bring it. The food came quite late. The other tables seemed to have some problems too. The breakfast was ok but the issues with the dirty plates continued. The tables were not cleaned properly. We didn’t swim in the sea in front of the hotel, but preferred to go to Ao Nang beach with a shuttle offered by the hotel at 11:00, 13:00 and 16:00. The return to hotel is about 1 km walk. The sea in front of the hotel did not seem very clean to us since there is a canal flowing into the sea right next to the hotel and this canal was smelly every time we passed by. The pool view room was spacious, had anti-slip tiles which was very good for our toddler. We had some issues with the water pressure, the toilet flush, but it was ok. The kids room was big with many choices but the toys could use some upgrade. The Breeze Cafe offers good coffee.

Property is at a great spot, right next to the beach and night market. Rooms are pretty subpar for the cost they offer. Overall the room amenities look old. The restaurant on the premise isn’t all that great either.

The level of the hotel did not correspond to the rating. I talked about it with another hotel quests, and they said, that they had changed the rooms three times during their stay.
Our room was worn and the sofa , for example, looked suspicious. The shower did not get hot/warm water at times, and the water pressure was really weak. Upon the check-in, nothing was said about hotel's services (e.g. where/when to get pool towels). At the breakfast there was always a traffic jam with the coffee machine, and the one of the machines was often stuck. The hotel customer manager was friendly and helped us on several occasions. Otherwise, the staff did not seem as friedly as, for example, in other two hotels on this vacation.

Okay but wouldn’t go back

Best for small children rather than teens. About 1/4 of the rooms are in an area that smells strongly of sewer, and everyone has to walk through that area to get between your room and the lobby/restaurant. Would be happy with it if it had been advertised as 3-star, but have stayed at 5-star and 4-star places (Thailand rated), and it did not measure up. Views of beach are all from across the road. Right across from nice beach though, and easy walking to night market, restaurants, and massage. Overall glad we stayed for 3 nights for our younger children, especially bc we got to go to Krabi Elephant Sanctuary (amazing!), but we would not go back. Families with little kids seemed happier with the situation, lots of shallow water and areas for them to play.
