Old hotel with a lot of problems , great location

Of the 4 days I spent at the hotel the elevator was closed and was forced to use the stairs with a hip replacement 3 months ago and it was painful . the Wi-Fi going out often & 7 minutes to get hot water in shower.
Key required to lock on exit , never had a hotel Like that before

We loved staying here! We actually noticed the place whilst walking along the beach and were pleasantly surprised with the great price for the area. The beds were comfortable, good clean rooms with excellent aircon. The pool is a good size and well maintained and the location is terrific for shopping, dining and getting to the markets. We also recommend the breakfast as it was a nice selection at a reasonable price. We look forward to coming back again, thank you!

Worst place I have stayed in 5 continents and 70 cities!
Listed as a superior room
View of the garden: my view a alley with trash

Elevator didn’t work for the 3 days I was there , room On second floor .

Had to care my own bags to second floor even tho I told them I had a previous broken back .
I couldn’t take a shower because of the smell and color of the water after 7 hours of flight .

No plasma tv tho listed in the description , just a old tube type tv that didn’t work .

Nice location, walkable to Ao Nang beach with a few lovely restaurants across the road and walkable to Ao Nang night market but the pool was dirty and the basics such as corridors and front desk was very outdated with steps cracking and floor boards coming up.
The shower was the worst part of the room which just dribbled out and the air conditioning unit actually broke and smelt of burning.

Right on the beach!

An excellent place to stay for backpackers or solo travelers who want to be right on the beach and close to shops and restaurants without breaking the budget. Wonderful and friendly staff, large rooms, balconies, clean, simple. I'd certainly stay here again!

The property had mold issues, the smell was strong. My room had blood stains on the sheets, walls, curtains, headboard and had pee stains on the toilet. The room smelled strongly of mold and I saw mold and warped wood. The water pressure was very low and my room didn’t have hot water. For my health I left and stayed my 2-4th nights in krabi at a nicer hotel down the street

The location was great however the hotel conditions was disappointed! The shower was broken which the water heat and cold is not consistent. The breakfast was not worth for what i has paid for. While i was there they are currently painting the hotel which make the ground floor smell so bad!

Comfortable bed. Lovely pool. Beautiful beach. I had a room over the road which was quiet and a 2 minute walk to beach perfect. Area was quiet but that was fine. Walk along beach to horizon bar for food live music and fire dancer. Beautiful view for sunset. Food was ok but french bakery down the road (5 min walk ) was gorgeous. Waiting staff don’t speak much English but it’s their country so why should they. Shower isn’t fab so jump in the pool first if you been on beach to rid the most of the sticky sand. I would return.

Great location, but sleep with ear plugs

I checked in late afternoon and the counter staff were expecting me. Check-in was smooth. WiFi in room no problem. The rooms were of good sized and I liked the balcony area. There was also a constant flow of hot water while bathing which was appreciated. However, everything was old. Towels were old, toilet bowl, shower head...etc. As long as it's clean I don't mind. Every now and then there was smell of sewage, I don't know if it's the hotel problem or the town's problem. The walls were incredibly thin. You can hear people WALKING outside in the corridor or in the next room. Need ear plugs to sleep.
I took a private van there from airport for 600 baht but when I asked counter staff for ride back, there was a 150 baht option (shared van) which was preferred. I don't know how to book that from airport to hotel (try calling the hotel to ask), but counter staff can book for you from hotel to airport. Hotel staff also didn't reply my email twice so I had to call them to confirm my request of a double bed.
I didn't use the pool because it didn't look inviting. There were constantly mosquitos in my bedroom though even when aircon was on. Across the road to the right, there is a quaint and small beach side stall that sells fruit juices and alcoholic beverages. I like that rustic feel. Further down the road (exit hotel and turn right) about 70m there is a cluster of outdoor local food that isn't overpriced which I also enjoyed. Lively area of Ao Nang beach was about 10-12 minute walk

Superior Room on 4th floor was not bad at all. Bed comfortable and enough room. Bathroom adequate without being outstanding. Caught glimpses of the beach from balcony. Breakfast was very good with selections changing daily. Didn't use the pool as it was beach weather but that area seemed nice enough. Good quiet location about 5 mins walk from Ao Nang Beach. Street food stalls just around the corner were excellent. All in all a pretty reasonable stay.

Awesome trip to Aonang, Krabi Thailand.

It was a pleasant to stay at this hotel. Nice hotel and close to the beach. However, the facilities is not enough for example we already request an iron before the trip but the hotel still did not provided the item. Other than that, the hotel was good, staff friendly and helpful. Last but not list, the location of this hotel was strategic.

I guess hotel should be away from sound of the such club area or local authority should control club should not be near or sound level be heard from the hotel.

Smelt musty, not actually in the beach/water it's across the street. Lots of restaurants and shops nearby. Good spots close by to watch the sunset, next time I'd buck up and stay in Railey. Not much in Ao Nang for me.

Nice hotel close to the beach

Very clean hotel between the beautiful Nopparat Thara beach and Ao Nang beach. A touristy area with lots of seafood restaurants and bars. The breakfast was disappointing to start with (a choice of eggs, rice or soup), but by the end of the week a full buffet was provided, with cooked breakfasts and cereals.

Slow internet and mostn9f the time having problems... one of the reception doesnt know how to accommodate guest. Always saying No, nothing, we dont have, etc...
Lift smells bad to the highest level. Toilet in the ground floor smells too bad...
I won't recommend the hotel.

Livable but not going to stay there again.

Wifi doesn't work in the room. Seems to be an ongoing issue for a while. Location is okay. Rooms were decent but not very clean. They seem to shutoff the water at a certain point in the middle of the night and I wasn't able to use the shower at 630 AM. Once they turned the water back on around 8am, the water was brown.

Good place

There're 2 sides of the beach, separated by a cliff or tiny hill. The resorts is less than 5 minutes walk to the quiter side of the beach and 15-20mins to the main beach area where a lot of tail boats & main crowd to be seen, it's also the same area where all the bars & pubs, fast food like Burger King (Hungry Jack) & McDonald's are situated. It's quite a far stretch of local restaurants as well as road side stall (not available on Friday).

On the floors into the hotel is visible that is not cleaned from several guests,...also on furniture,...

Overall we had a very good time in Krabi. The hotel rooms were a bit dated and needed some repairs. There were no towel racks in the bathroom and the rooms were small. There was a very loud bar across the street that was open most of the night and made it difficult to sleep. Food was very good and staff were very friendly.

Good Budget Place as Expected

Budget place. Looking for 4 star choose Holiday Inn which is right next to this hotel post Srisuksant Resort on the same block. The place is as expected. Decent sized rooms and well kept. Wifi is slow but works. Very limited channels on TV. Decent clean swimming pool. Very good eating out places nearby. Money exchange facilities (many of them in vicinity). This is at Nopharat Tharra beach. In fact bang opposite to the beach. There are 3 longtail boat piers here. 2 on Ao Nang beach (nice 15 minutes leisurely stroll through market. Can easily take a tuk-tuk for 50 THB if required) and 1 on Nopharat Thara Beach. One on the Nopharat Thara Beach is bang opposite to the hotel. Issue is longtail boats require minimum number of people to leave for islands and might have to wait for few people to join you at Nopharat Thara Beach. 2 longtail boat piers on Ao Nang beach are frequented by many travellers and so is easy to leave quickly to islands. One pier on Ao Nang beach is closer to Phra Nang Inn hotel (check on Google Maps) and other one is closer to Krabi Resort. Traffic sense in Thailand is much better than expected (atleast for us from India). People are really friendly. No fear of mugging, etc. People do hire bikes from Hotels too. This hotel also provides the facility for 500 THB for a day. I did not use it though. One area where hotel can improve is Breakfast.

Enjoyable stay

Stayed over new years and it was nice to see all the fireworks around the area. This hotel is close to the beach (across the street and down the road a bit), which is very nice. Our room was clean and the staff were friendly. We had a few issues with the wifi and were unable to connect a few nights in a row.

Other than that, it felt like we overpaid for what we received, but we did pay peak season prices.

Quaint and peaceful hotel. Breakfast is lovely with a variety of options available each day. The staff are helpful but struggle slightly with English. Overall it is great if you are on a budget and not planning on spending loads of time in the room. However, the room was spacious and spotlessly clean if you do intend to remain indoors. Great location near the main parts of Ao Nang but just far enough away from the festive nightlife so one has peace.

We had a pleasant stay at the the hotel... Hotel is also 10-15 min away from the main tourist center.. The Hotel doesnt actually appear to have a hotel entrance.. We booked for pool view and high level room but there is no lift for the 4th floor.. But it seemed to be a new extension of the property. The room is good and the room service too is very satisfactory. Only that hot water and water force is not regulated properly in the bathroom. The break fast is good but the bread items are stale.. The ambiance of breakfast area is good but there are some flies around.. However, when we have asked for vegetarian food and they have served us with yummy thai dishes.. On a whole, i just pointed out only negatives but on the other side of the coin, we really had memorable time..

A little off the path but still a great option. The hotel was quite nice in the room and better than expected from the view from the outside. Approx 15 minute walk to Aonang Beach and busy part of the area. Just a bit outside of the bustle and a good choice. Breakfast is nothing special but then again any room inclusive of breakfast is a good choice. I would stay again.

We found this hotel to be a forgettable experience. Our booking in was done by a person who didn't, care.We were greeted by a foul smell throughout the hotel and were told it was caused by the hotel next doors kitchen dumping something into the open drain which ran past the dining room at the rear of the hotel. When we came down for breakfast the smell remained and we had to move our table to get away from it. The breakfast selection was poor and mostly cold as all the hot food recepticals were left open all the time.Staff were mostly untrained as they just sat and looked without offering any assistance or suggestions.

As some of the other reviews suggested, the hotel is next to the sewer canal and you have to cross it to get to the shops and restaurants. Close to a mini mart, so it is nice. There is a beach close to it but it was not usable. The swimming pool borders the smelly sewer canal and the outside dining area, so it is quite unpleasant. The breakfast/dining area is outside and there were birds coming in and eating the food right off the display table - not a very pleasant experience. The room was clean but somewhat run down. The staff was friendly but if I were to visit that place again, I would go to a different hotel.

Overall the hotel was great, especially the bed and sheets. I think we got a very good bargain.
The only two negative points are:
1. The hotel is not that near to the centre (in a tuk-tuk it takes two minutes = 0.50€ per person/way - which of course accumulates after a while) or else 15-20 min walking.
2. The pool is not that big and in the shade. There also aren't that many places to sit. But I guess you don't go to Thailand to lie by the pool!

Location is a bit turnoff!

Though the hotel provides a good value for the money but the location is a bit turnoff!There is nothing much nearby and the closest beach is nothing that attractive compared to the stunning beaches like RAILEY BEACH!I would rather suggest take a longtail boat from ao nang and check out RAILEY Beach.It's certainly a great place to spend some relaxing days!

Good Hotel, very friendly efficient and serviceable staff, very clean, the room and the building in general good conditions, convenient location (quiet place).

Bad situation: They charge apart for the use of the Safety Box in the room, and when you request the correspondent receipt, you will get only a photocopy. Also they charge apart for the WiFi internet use, and for the price of the room this must be complimentary.

Dejligt hostel - rent og behageligt. En del larm fra naboerne på selv samme hotel, det kan de jo ikke gøre for.
Hotellet har en dejlig flod i baggården som til tider lugter en del. Det er også her der serveres morgenmad. Morgenmaden var dog ganske fin med et større udvalg end vi ellers har oplevet.

Hotellet låg på ett bra läge nära stranden. Däremot var hotellets lobby stundvis obemannat, det var hål i handdukarna, det var inte städat ordentligt (låg massa hår på badrumsgolvet), AC:n läckte väldigt mycket vid två tillfällen, frukosten var helt okej, Däremot inte stort utbud.

Hotelli on erittäin hyvällä sijainnilla, siitä pääsi kätevästi joka suuntaan.
Hotellin ravintolan takana meni kanaali, joka haisi todella pahalle. Toisinaan sen vuoksi meni ruokahalu.

+ Huone oli kaikinpuolin siisti ja miellyttävä. Ilmastointi toimi hyvin. Hotelli sijaitsee hyvällä paikalla Nopparat Tharan ja Ao Nang beachin välissä, hieman sivussa Ao Nangin hulinasta. Kaikki tarvittavat palvelut sijaitsevat lähellä hotellia.

Käytännössä luonnon valoa huoneeseen ei tullut ja naapuriparvekkeen takia verhoja oli pidettävä kiinni. Yleisilme hieman ränsistynyt varsinkin altaan puolelta. Allasalue melko pieni (reilu 10 paikkaa) ja altaan pohjan rikkoutuneet laatat voivat rikkoa jalanpohjat.

Ok für Kurzaufenthalt/ Ausflüge

Wir haben dieses Hotel 2 Tage als Erstankunft genommen. Waren nur zum Schlafen. Frühstück bescheiden. Guter Ausgangspunkt für Ausflüge. Das Hotel liegt direkt an der Straße mit Durchgangsverkehr. Diese muss man auch überqueren um an den Strand zu kommen. Sehr günstig, man kann also auch nicht zu viel erwarten.

Først og fremst WIFI, for den var UTROLIG dårlig
Frokosten kan man vel også si at har forbedringspotensiale
Atmosfæren blant personalet i frokostsalen bar preg av dette
Ellers var resepsjonen og inn/utsjekking upåklagelig

Helt greit hotell i enden av Aonang sentrum.

Vi hadde en utmerket uke på hotellet. Hyggelig betjening, hotellet var rent og pent. God frokost. Var et lite basseng, men prøvde ikke det selv. Vi hadde stort rom med bra balkong. Hotellet lå i enden av Aonang sentrum 50 meter fra stranden. Den var ikke den beste , men også helt grei. Gikk longtailbåter derfra til flere andre småøyer. Veldig sentralt. Hotellet var noe slitt.

Hotel liegt sehr gut am Ao Nang. Restaurants und Supermärkte sind direkt nebenan.
Zur Partymeile sind es ca 7-8 Min zu laufen, dadurch ist es in der Hotelumgebung angenehm ruhig. Wir können auf jeden Fall gut schlafen.
Kollege konnte auch Thais mitbringen und musste keine extra Fee bezahlen.

Palvelu oli hyvää henkilökunnan vajavaisesta kielitaidosta huolimatta. Uima-allas oli pieni emmekä nähneet kenenkään käyttävän sitä. Yacuzzi-allas ei toiminut alkuunkaan.
