Was hesitant about our stay as some reviews are mixed but found our experience great. Great location, on the more quieter side of the strip which suited us. 7/11 nearby and plenty of restaurants. Room was cleaned every day. The only downside was the door was left open during cleaning which seemed to let in a lot of mosquitoes. We’d then have to spend the evening squatting them. My partner didn’t get bit all holiday until we stayed here. Didn’t use the main pool as the quieter one suited us and we were often the only ones there! Staff were great.

We enjoyed the surrounding area full of shops, food, and massage places. A nice beach and night market within walking distance. We did not enjoy that we had to walk up 3 flights of stairs to get to our room and were not given any warning. We got a one time discount at the restaurant which was still expensive and okay. The room had a slanted ceiling which is not ideal for tall people. Cleanliness was good besides mold in the bathroom, which we have seen at every hotel in Thailand

This property is clean and well maintained. Checking in took a long time and seemed a bit disorganized. The staff there are friendly and very helpful. The pool areas were good. The upper pool didn’t have enough loungers, only 6/7 while the smaller pool had about 2 dozen. They have paid attention to details in the room like flip flops, beach bag, umbrellas etc to make your stay worry free. 7-11 is a 2 minute walk where we got all our snacks and drinks. Restaurants are close and the night market was a 15-20 minute walk.

The property is at a walkable distance from Ao Nang Beach and both main night markets in Krabi.

You can also easily rent a motorbike at the hotel and explore Krabi on two wheels. The tour desk staff is pretty helpful and friendly.

A really great stay for the price! We stayed in a room with the bath tub on the porch and it was a lovely room. Really enjoyed sitting in a cool bath and relaxing after days out exploring. Very friendly staff and we had great Thai massages at the on-site spa. I also messaged ahead whether we could check in early as we were getting an early flight to Krabi, and this was upheld. It is around a 10/15 min walk to the beaches, with various food options nearby. The area is a more budget area of Thailand, worth bearing this in mind as there isn’t a lot of luxury properties or eateries nearby. Would recommend!

I booked with Deevana Krabi Resort as the reviews looked very good compared to many others in the same area, it's pretty close to the airport at only 40mins drive away which is a bonus on transfers. Check in was easy & simple process, the room they gave me was close to reception and right next to a pool, with some lovely grounds surrounding the property. The room was spacious with a huge bed, could have slept 4 people in it, air con was very powerful, also a fridge, a good sized toilet room, and a large walk in shower, wi-fi was available from the room, but had to re-log in a few times, only downside was not a lot of storage for your clothing, just a hanging rail with a few hangers, but I can make do for a week. Breakfast was included in my package which was close to reception & there's a whole host of food and drink on offer from 6.30am, the food was good and tasty and very good standard, all in all I really enjoyed my stay there & would go back as it's in a great location with everything close by and easy to get to.

This was a bit of a strange post Covid experience. We were upgraded to a gorgeous suite, right next to the pool at the far end of the resort. The grounds and the room were beautiful. Nice escape from the busyness of Ao Nang. However, the one side of the resort was closed off due to repairs on the other pool, which was fine. But our side also had no restaurant or bar and it seemed almost abandoned. We had to go to the Deevana Plaza just outside the resort for any of the amenities. Quite frankly, I thought they were one and the same until I asked for a transfer to be closer to the hub of activity. This is then they informed that the resort and plaza were two seperate places. In the end it was quite fine. We loved our stay. The pool, our suite and staff were lovely.

My second stay here. Overall, very nice and comfortable room. Pool is perfect, breakfast spread is not huge but very adequate and delicious.

But I had to wait over an hour for check-in, which wasn’t great. The area around the hotel has also been ravaged by covid and all shops have closed, so it was a long, dark and scary walk back to the hotel (for a solo traveller) at night. The hotel does offer a shuttle drop off at Aonang, but it would do better to also offer a pickup from Aonang too.

I would definitely stay here again though. The staff were friendly, rooms (and that huge bed!) were very comfortable. I enjoy my stays there very much.

We stopped here for 4 nights whilst on our honeymoon, check in was smooth and was given welcome drinks and shown to our room. Once in the room the hotel staff explained and showed us everything we needed to know, which was really good. I did email the hotel to tell them it was our honeymoon before the trip, but they didn’t even acknowledge it when we checked in, there wasn’t anything in the room either. Every other hotel we stayed in on our trip made an effort with us, but not this one.
The room we had was really nice, very spacious and it had a nice bath on the balcony, however there was no privacy on the balcony, especially our balcony, so I’m not sure how your meant to enjoy a bath unless you’re a naturist!
Our room was right at the top of the hotel near the breakfast restaurant. The hotel host at check in (I think he was the manger) said we had a room in a good location, I’m not so sure though, as it was quite a trek 2 or 3 times a day up to your room.
On our 3rd day we came back from a island boat trip, after walking all the way to the top of the hotel to our room we found our key card didn’t work. We was shattered after being out since 6am so we went to the pool bar to ring reception and ask them if they could bring a new key card for us. I spoke to the lady at reception and she said I needed to walk all the way back down to reception and bring the card to her so they could see what’s wrong. I knew what would happen, I would walk down there and they would check it an

A few nights over Christmas

I felt like the resort makes itself look a lot more luxurious on the Internet than what it really is in real life. It’s nice that they had happy hour at the pools but the quality of the cocktails is not worth the happy hour prices.
The room is comfortable and I enjoyed having f the outdoor bathtub to do our laundry in. The rooms could do with thicker foliage for privacy... it’s hard to sit naked in the bath without everyone else seeing your every move.
The breakfast was good and had good variety. We ate a pizza for lunch which was really good.

This hotel is tucked away behind the Ao Nang night market. Nice and quiet location. Staff was very friendly and helpful, especially the Manager at the restaurant. We went for breakfast everyday (included) and really enjoyed it. The only downside is the pool closes at around 6pm (I think). So we weren’t able to go for swims after coming back from our day excursions. But we would recommend this hotel.

All the staff very friendly and helpful - the room which was the cheaper “deluxe room” are all on the 1st floor so not suitable for people who are mobility impaired (if you can’t manage a flight of stairs) the grand deluxe rooms are all on the ground floor it met my needs and the slanted ceilings didn’t bother me and I managed to avoid banging my head on them for the 9 nights. No wardrobes could be an issue for some people but on the whole all was good.

Room service was very good, the only issue I had was with the cheeky sparrows which would do their best to eat at buffet before you and would swarm on to your plates if you walked away during breakfast after the first attack I guarded my plates until finished. It would be a near impossible task for the staff to keep them away as the dining area is essential open air - maybe the hotel might consider some drop netting to keep them out. Anyway overall a great stay.

We loved that the resort is off of the main road, it is quite and peaceful, away from the noise of the street. The rooms are cute and clean perfect for a couple. The staff is very friendly, and the grounds are lovely and well kept. The pools are clean and landscaping is beautiful. Our breakfast was delicious and there was a wide variety of things to try. There were some positives. - hotel clean and well situated.
Negatives:- originally given tiny room with no storage and had to pay (4500 baht) for upgrade. This room had very little storage for our 15 night stay. Also, found out that others got free upgrade. Woken up early one morning to be given laundry that wasn’t ours and no apology when passed onto reception staff. On the whole the staff were formal but did not deliver even good customer service let alone excellent customer service which they are reputed to have. We were not offered pool lounger cushions and another couple were given them as soon as they arrived. Reviews indicated that the manager met with guests to ensure their stay at hotel was a happy one - we never saw anyone from the management team. The second pool and only restaurant were closed and we were not informed during check in. Breakfast was not included in our package - we tried it once. Overly expensive, poor quality. Very few gluten free options. Coffee was bitter and unpalatable. We were there on our honeymoon and they did do floral display on our bed the first night - the remainder of our stay, they were indifferent and at points we felt we were an inconvenience to the staff. We hope this is not a direct result of the fact we are a gay couple - but we can’t help but wonder
The WiFi was poor - codes changed every 72 hours and would kick us off every few hours and require new sign it.

I stayed two nights here and it was perfect! Since this was intended to be a relaxing solo trip, I enjoyed the fact that their weren't any kids. When I checked in I was upgraded to a larger room on the bottom floor, which was really cute. The staff was very friendly (even when I accidentally locked myself out of my room and lost the WiFi code) and the property is very well kept. I liked that the property seemed to be built right into the trees surrounding it. It's also located in a really good spot if your down for a short stroll to the beach and more touristy area (there is also a hotel shuttle if walking isn't your thing). Overall, I really enjoyed my stay here and I would gladly book again if I were to go back to Krabi.

This hotel has great and very well maintained area, comfy bed, good AC, very good staff. Some cons: both pools are small and you need 15-min walking to the beach. Mango sticky rice at the pool bar wasn’t good as I expected. But overall my stay was very relaxing and enjoyable. Recommend!

Hotel is very nice and good ambience and very suitable to those who enjoy nature. I enjoyed a Deluxe room as it have a large room with a big bath tub. The restaurant is in the upper floor and it serves nice food there. There are also 2 swimming pool where you can chill out. It takes 7-10mins walk from the main road. Alongside the road is full with restaurant, place where you can have body massage, manicure pedicure, 7e & family mart. Next to the hotel is one of the aonang night market (the Aonang Landmark nigt market is a 5mins ride witk tuktuk). A recomemded place to go is Aonang Mosque area, it has lotsssss of shops alongside the road and is a 5-8mins ride with tuktuk).

Lovely hotel in a great location, close to two beaches and lots of great restaurants but in a quiet spot away from the noise.

All the facilities were great and there was never an issue getting a sun bed by one of the pools when we needed one. Great variety at breakfast and the staff were very welcoming.

Only negative was the number of mosquitoes in the room, but would definitely stay again.

Not the greatest location but not bad either. 15 minute walk to beach past innumerable tour operators and restaurants. Hotel is on a hillside. May be difficult walking for some.

Deevana Krabi Resort - May 2018

Very clean and cosy room with nice and friendly staff, it has everything you need for a comfortable stay. They provide beach towels and a beach bag for your daily activities as well. Pool and Pool bar was awesome (must-try their spicy thai beef pizza).

Hotel Restaurant - Chao Lay Restaurant has very good food (esp their green curry and coconut milkshake). Highly recommended!

Also, hotel guests are able to use the facilities such as gym and swimming pools at Deevana Plaza Hotel (just beside Deevana Krabi Resort).

Only downside were the mosquitoes. However, the hotel provides an electronic mosquito repellent for each room.

Overall very comfortable, clean and good experience at Deevana Krabi Resort!

Friendly and accomodating staff, able to communicate in English very well. Just a 5 minutes walk to Ao Nang Night Market (Best Kebab & Mango Sticky Rice) I will surely miss!
Good and yummy breakfast..
Comfy Bed and everything we need was provided.
Totally satisfied!

A lovely little gem

The staff were wonderful and the location is fantastic. It is tucked away from the main beach road and has a lovely local market next to it. Rooms were lovely and pool great. Excellent value for money!
