Really enjoyed the pool (amazing view and not crowded), the look and feel of the room, the free instant coffee and water, the staff and the location. There is some ambient noise from the hotel restaurant, especially in the bathroom (which is very expensive and lacks a bar), the outside, and other rooms, but the hum faded into white noise for me and was not an issue. Bed had 4 comfy pillows, shower was not great - bad water pressure, temp swings (which they are looking into), and a faulty overhead fixture (which i forgot to report), laundry service was prompt and convenient, but clothes didn't feel clean and had an unpleasantly heavy scent of detergent. Overall, felt quite luxurious for the price and would happily return.

Poorly maintained hotel. For example, they gave us a couple of towels with holes and when we requested new ones, they said that they’re waiting for more towels. The day after, they did exactly the same.

The room was nice but also felt old due to maintenance and it was really dark. Bed was awesome and the room size is quite big. Location is excellent.

In summary, hotel is ok, but with more maintenance it could be better.

We only stayed here for 2 nights, to be well located for travel to Koh Phi Phi. For this, the hotel was fine.
Generally a little worn around the edges, but not an issue if you're out most the time.
Pool area was nice, and the hotel was well located for restaurants, bars, beaches, boat trips.

This is a hidden gem in Ao Nang. The hotel is located in a quieter area but is still close to the beach, restaurants, and stores.

The staff at the hotel was the most helpful, thoughtful, and curteous. Fern went above and beyond in helping us book a private tour last minute and checked in on us after the tour. Other staff members we interacted with were also extremely helpful.

Our room was spacious and charming. There is a private hot tub on our terrace and a Thai cushion in the reading nook, which was a very nice touch. The hotel infinity pool was also very nice and well maintained. We will definitely stay here again when we visit Ao Nang next time.

I think for the price of this particular hotel it is a Top option for any type of traveller. I am a lone traveler from England on my first Ever visit to Asia and at the moment I’ve been to Bangkok, Ho Chi Minh City, Vung Tau and then Aonang🙏
I cannot say anything but Wonderful things about this Continent so far and I plan to return.
Sorry to have diverted a bit from talking about the hotel ( Colors) in Aonang but I just wanted to say how Friendly Everyone I’ve spoken to or had dealings with are So Happy Welcoming and nothing is to much trouble!
The staff as a team at Colors Aonang are Just Amazingly friendly and I feel actually Truly care about their guests,I find there is Nothing false about Anyome who works here. They are so helpful and I have to give a Special mention to Fern one of the receptionists, she I feel is the leader of a Wonderful group of people and she is a True Guiding light and shows Everything that makes this hotel standout for me . It has a swimming pool that’s kept very well, a pool table and Wonderful Restaurant, its vicinity is Fantastic Alf in easy reach of the Night Market and many bars and Restaurants!

Boendet är verkligen inte värt sina fyra stjärnor, det borde vara 2 stjärnor enligt hotels.com:s rating. Slitet, slitna textilier, mycket bullrigt (av och trafik), dålig bemanning. Frukosten mycket enkel. Rimligt rent men inget byte av lakan på sex dagar. Poolen mysig men även där slitet och illa underhållet. Tror det har varit ett fint hotell, men inga investeringar har gjorts på mycket länge. Känns som om man bara vill kröna ut höga priser under högsäsong och struntar i kritiken. Ingen kunskap om de utflykter man förmedlar. Rekommenderas inte, åtminstone inte för det pris vi betalade nu under jullovet.

Great!

The attendants Boa and Fun and the entire staff were super friendly and hospitable. They hold a smile and greet you everytime you walk by the lobby. The rooms are great for a decent price, the building is not modern but I loved the way it resembled the old Italian/Spanish architecture. The experience was amazing since everything was around 5 mins walk. 7 eleven, Ko dam restaurant next door is a must for great thai food.

The pool on the second floor was unique as it overlooked the street below and a small area of a bay across the street. The staff were very accommodating and responsive. We also really enjoyed our tour to Hong Island and renting a kayak to see the beautiful view at Railay beach along with the lagoon. It was fun! Merci.

The hotel doesn’t have an elevator, so bringing our luggage to our room at the top level was a struggle. Could use a hot egg station at breakfast. The hotel has an old Moroccan-style design that could be enhanced with some modern updates. The rooms with the upstairs lofts and terra cotta balconies outfitted a bathtub and sink are a nice place to relax and watch the sun go down.

Been traveling for months as part of 6 month+ trip. Spent 3 weeks in Krabi at Alisea. Loved the hotel. For price you can not beat it. The free shuttle to private beach resort is just as shown. Pool was amazing. Few posts complained of mold in shower. It’s just base tile showing through where it’s been cleaned so many times. Btw huge rain shower was amazing. Staff was insanely nice. rooms are really nice. Only downside was slow WiFi, but that seems to be a Krabi issue, not hotel.

It was a nice stay. The property is a bit dated with some mold in the shower. We checked out and left the property without getting our passports returned to us, which was very frustrating given the front desk staff were sitting around on their phones while we ripped apart our bags looking for them.
Overall it was a pretty good hotel with nice big rooms and large bathroom with a rainfall shower.

The location, and style of the hotel were great. The pool had a great view and it was nice to relax. Some appliances need upgrading but everything was functional and clean. The price was also great for the location and comfort. I would definitely come back. The safe box is out in the lobby instead of the bedroom but it was completely safe.

When we arrived the staff assigned us to a room where the patio view was a construction site - literally 4-5 feet outside the room. We asked for and received a room away from the construction. The staff knew immediately why we were asking - clearly they thought we wouldn't say anything. After that, all was fine. The hotel's best feature is a lovely infinity pool with view of mountains and part of city. Otherwise, it is somewhat dated (which is normal for AoNang beach area). Everything was clean, shower was good, air conditioning worked, and there was a fridge in the room where we stored cold drinks. The towels and linens were a bit frayed, but that didn't bother us. There is no elevator, which people with mobility problems should take into account. The breakfast is not very good, nor is the coffee, but you have lots of food choices nearby.

Just stayed at this lovely hotel with my boyfriend and we had an amazing time here. Staff was super friendly and helpful. Facilities are a little old, but still in good condition. Hotel is also close to Ao Nang beach and can lend you towels if you need. I would come back to this hotel again!

The pool and rooms are very nice and it's very convenient but with a giant building being constructed next door it was especially noisy at 8 am the first day (Sat. Morn) when we woke up. The rest of the days didn't seem as noisy, but we were gone most of the days. We complained and the manager was understanding (they are supposed to work construction from 10-4) and he worked with us on a few comped items. They definitely need to do something to screen off the top deck with the wooden outdoor tubs in the deluxe rooms. I am a woman and took a hot bath at 6:30 am. I happened to have my phone nearby the tub, thinking they must do something once the building under construction is completed and took a photo of the building across from the room. Soon after I heard a man whistle at me and realized I had a peeping Thai watching me during my bath, very unnerving. I even caught him in my photo with his yellow construction hat on up about 2 floors. So beware, they are aware the tubs are there and it's WAY to close for comfort, who would think someone would be walking around at 6:30 am! I'm writing the Hotel and sending the photo, but thought I'd send this review as well.
The Umbertos (Italian) restaurant is a very good restaurant in the Hotel, we ate there 3 times as we wanted a change from Thai food, the inclusive breakfast was very good as well, good expresso coffee and fresh eggs, fruit, etc. The bar pool was handy and they had a good Happy Hour. Just unfortunate with construction.

A very warm welcome from staff and easy check-in. The room and bathroom were fairly basic but clean and comfortable and perfectly decent for our 1-night stay. Nice pool area outside although opening hours seemed to be limited. Breakfast was so-so - not a great range - but the hotel is walking distance from the main town and beach with lots of restaurant options.

There was a 8 story being built next door, the room had a note saying construction would go on from 10-3! The construction started at 7am -
11 pm. We asked to move rooms and had to wait until one came available the next day. After 26 hours of travel, we got very little sleep due to the noise next door. We were not offered any compensation.

We really enjoyed our stay at Alisea. It was at a great location that was central to Ao Nang and made getting around easy. The hotel staff were helpful and the buffet breakfast was great. The only flaw was the neighboring construction site and the noise, otherwise I would definetly stay again. Showers were also good and the room was kept clean.

Nice hotel, really pretty, however the pictures are deceiving. The painting is off, mould in the room, and wifi was so slow I couldn’t even receive emails.
On the plus side the swimming pool was nice, bed nice, staff friendly and room was clean other than walls. Bathroom was really clean as well. Don’t know if i would stay here again as there were nicer hotels around with bigger swimming pools and cheaper prices

Nice Hotel, LATE LOUD constructing noise

We book hotel due that it was more secluded, therefore expected more \"rest time\" on our last leg of our vacation.
Got the superior room with breakfast, hotel was clean, a couple of English TV channels, internet unstable (both ok, as we came to disconnect), breakfast was decent and some offerings were refresh daily.
Big problem is a constructing happening besides the hotel and although I agree that this is out of the Hotel hands, it gets VERY loud from 8:00 AM until midnight!!! (despite hotel letter mentioning 10 am to 4 pm)
Initially they gave us a room besides the construction and move us to the other side of the hotel the next day after talking to management. Room was upgraded to LOFT,that and the AC help reduce some of the noise.
One day before checkout we arranged an extra night directly at the reception, they mentioned that we will have to move to another LOFT as the one we had was already reserved. We agreed and paid. I even confirmed with three different staff members since only one LOFT remained for that day.
On the moving day, as we were leaving for a tour and had our luggage ready for them to move us, receptionist mentioned that new LOFT was no longer available since she gave it to a walk in :|
She offer us a superior room (downgrade) for the SAME PRICE we paid for LOFT AND again FACING construction site.
We were outrage, talking to management only got the price adjusted.
We end up accepting the room as it was late and did not have time to look for a new hotel.

We enjoyed our experience in Alisea hotel very much! The hotel really has the vibe of a high class boutique hotel. The hotel is conveniently located right next to the So nang Beach Bay. Staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Breakfast was delicious! Rooms are very specious and clean.. and the shower is huge!

Outstanding hotel. Extended my stay from three to six nights. Friendly staff, nice room (except for ongoing construction next to one side of the hotel), otherwise quiet, good wifi, and good buffet breakfast. They even have a pool table adjoining the lobby area and a big screen tv showing movies. Five minute walk to either of the two main beaches. Good restaurants all nearby.

Such a lovely stay!

I booked last minute coming from Bangkok and felt I got a great deal on the room. I had a loft room with 2 balconies (one with a bathtub on it) The room was very spacious, clean and the king size bed was very comfortable. Infinity pool was great with amazing views. Hotel is very close to the beach and restaraunts. Staff were extremely nice and helpful. Breakfast was good and worth the 200 baht. I was travelling on my own and didn't meet anyone but I think it's to be expected in a nicer hotel. Great stay, thank you!

Nice hotel with a central location

Overall pretty good experience here. Hotel staff knew english, but it was limited at best. Would've been nice to be able to book some things directly from the hotel, but the staff recommended we go to the street vendors outside to do so. Not much of a hassle, considering this location. It is located pretty much in the middle of the 2 bays/beaches with tourisms all around. If you are looking for a touristy spot, this is the place to go.

Very clean room. Nice pool upstairs as well. Rooms were all clean. Bed a bit hard, but seems to be the pattern in asia. May have something to do with the heat.

The only thing that bugged me was we tried to book a ride to the airport to which they told me could be done but needed 45 minutes. When we checked out, they told us they were booked out, which didn't make sense. In the end we just walked down the end of the block and booked from there.

Great stay overall but you have to make sure you get a room on the right side of the hotel (looking from the front) as there is major construction to the left! WIFI was very unreliable but technician tries hard. Also, the cue ball on the pool table is seriously deformed - small point but important if you want to play!

It posed some inconvenience caused we needed to repack but the hotel offered a \"special room\" and complimentary taxi to airport in place. We didn't know what was special about the \"special room\". The receptionist was approachable and helped to call our tour agency without hesitation to assure us it was on the way to pick us. The younger receptionist was always full of smiles.

Close to the ao nang port

The hotel overall should not have these high ratings (except for location). The location of the hotel is amazing, very close to main areas - ao nang beach, good restaurants, Main Street little shops and local food.
I would not recommend this hotel to a friend, nor will I book here again. Overpriced, not friendly staff.

Great views and great staff

We were very happy to have stayed at Alisea. We actually got a room facing the construction site and we were not at all pleased,especially coz it was my bday. So the manager moved us to the pool villas. Though a bit far from the beach, the villas were awesome..serene ,beautiful and king sized with a private pool. We really enjoyed our stay and the staff was wonderful. Everything abt the villa was great..the pool, breakfast,room ,even the bathrooms. We had a great time and I would highly recommend to others! Thank you

This is an ugly and old hotel. The room was ok but the hotel is pretty old, it doesn't have an elevator, breakfast is very bad.

Great location for the Krabi area!

My friend and I stayed here when we first arrived in Thailand. We were early for check-in, but they held our bags and we were able to explore the local beach. The property next door was under construction, so not the best in room view. The location and value were great and I am overall extremely happy with my stay. Near water taxis, restaurants, outdoor markets for shopping and street food, etc.

Easy, comfortable. Beautiful infinity pool, great pizza, reasonably priced. Far enough from the Ao Nang crazy but easily walkable. Close to two beaches. Helpful staff.

Poor service and bad attitude of receptionist

Due to the poor design structure of the shower bottle holder, I accidentally broke the shower bottle which was made of glass in the toilet. When I talked with the receptionist, her attitude was very rude with no smiling face and said that I need to pay 400 THB for the shower bottle. I requested to see her manager to discuss on the design failure of the shower bottle and the holder with no protection but she told me that her manager and superior were not around. She was not happy with me and keep asking me to pay the money. I was very disappointed on the service of this hotel.

Cheap but sketchy

Rough looking patrons, room with very strong mold odor, unfriendly staff, drinks are very weak, bathroom of every room facing the hallway with a window of sorts ( you can hear and smell all your neighbors taking care of their necessaries as you walk down the hall). I wouldn't recommend this place unless you are in extreme circumstances

Good stay

Great breakfast, nice designed pool and room. Just Ao Nang is too busy and crowded. The street food stall near the hotel r the worst and not organized, u need wait forever or get some thing burned. If u book the 7 island tour from the hotel, better make sure how many ppl join the your with u. Our Mariam tour team has nearly 90 ppl, couple of hours was actually used waiting the small boat transfer around to get the ppl to the island or big boat.

Great hotel!

We stayed here for 5 nights in a loft room, the room was big and spacious, bed confortable, bathroom good size, the balcony had a wooden bath tub on it and we had a view of the pool and well as surrounding islands, the view was fantastic! Would highly recommend this hotel.

Bad experience!

Front desk staffs were rude and not friendly, the bed was dirty, with sand on the mattress, no mirror in the room except for the bedroom. Buffet breakfast choices were limited, not worth paying so much for it. Too much chlorine in the swimming pool water

Very good hotel & location

We stayed for 6 days & was not disappointed with the hotel & the staff very very helpful & friendly
The hotel is conveniently located not far from the beach, shopping & heaps of restaurants to choose from
The rooms were spacious & comfortable & the pool & bar area exceptional, had a nice view & enjoyed the daily happy hour
Very good restaurant to dine in or room service if needed
The drive from Koh Samui which is 2.5 hrs from the ferry was well worth the trip & would certainly go back
