I would say the hotel was beautiful its self. However the amount of water flies in the room was a little excessive, I killed them all with off spray, so wasn’t that bad but they really should focus on that. Also the bathroom could’ve been cleaner. It is an ecological hotel so maybe that’s why. Lastly the complimentary tuktuk to and from Anana to aonang was great but they really should extend the service to midnight like other hotels.

Very welcoming on arrival with easy check in and out. Staff were always very friendly and happy to help with any questions or advice. Facilities were great and well maintained. Hotel clearly has a focus on being eco friendly. Shuttle to the beach meant the resort was away from the noise of Ao Nang Beach but easy to get to.

Die Zimmer waren sauber, das Personal sehr nett und hilfsbereit.
Allerdings war das Frühstück nicht besonders vielfältig und ansprechend. Die Anlage hat auch nach Abwasser/Kanälen gerochen, wenn man aus dem Zimmer raus kam.
Bad hatte Schimmel und die ganze Anlage hatte einige Schönheitsmakeln.
Das Hotel war in Ordnung, aber nicht besonders einzigartig.

Anana was an incredible place to stay. Its location, slightly outside the main town, turned out to be perfect for us. The free transportation they provided made getting to the town and the boats easy and convenient. We truly enjoyed our time here—it was an amazing experience from start to finish. Yes a peaceful and nice location, certainly in comparison to the main areas of Ao Nang, Krabi and close resorts. Not sure that building a concrete and glass monstrosity of a building on the edge of the jungle is that ecological??? The studio rooms are nice but fairly impractical, with a ridiculous platform that the bed sits on, making it difficult to get in and out of bed. A minimal provision of hanging and cupboard areas, meaning that it was impossible to unpack during our 4 day stay. The shower temperature constantly varied from hot to cold and back, meaning that obviously more water than necessary was used. The toilet paper used was so thin, that of course, more was used than would have been with a quality product.
At least the staff were friendly and helpful! The breakfast was nice but certainly not up to 5* standards.
The worst aspect was the design of the black/grey swimming pool, which was positively dangerous, with underwater walls and steps, that were not visible.

The staff was so friendly and helpful, and the property was pristine! I enjoyed an incredible massage at the spa with a great discount. By far, the food at this resort was amazing! This resort is wonderful and the staff are equally as excellent- Hassan in reception and Jill in the spa were exceptional. The views are incredible (We were staying on the 5th floor) and it’s very tranquil. There is a fruit & vegetable farm with mushrooms, lemongrass, coconuts and bananas growing to name a few. Also a small pond with fish and small frogs. Swings, breath work, yoga classes and gym - plus a spa on the 1st floor. There are two pools one for adults only staying in poolside suites and a family pool- both are ace! Free shuttle bus to and from Ao Nang beach.
Would highly recommend! We stayed for 6 nights and thoroughly enjoyed it. Great breakfast variety and quality, food ordered to room and in restaurant also fab!

This hotel exceeded our expectations in every regard. The staff demonstrated a high level of professionalism and were both accommodating and friendly, contributing to a welcoming atmosphere. The serene surroundings added to the overall experience. The amenities were exceptional, and the breakfast offered was the best we’ve had in Thailand, with a wide variety of flavours and options. We stayed in a family room with four beds and found it well-equipped with all the necessary amenities. The complimentary shuttle service to Ao Nang Beach was a valuable addition. For my next trip to Thailand, I will undoubtedly choose this hotel again.

Rundown 3 star at best. Front desk does not comply with customer requests. They lie about the info in order to avoid accommodating customer requests. Terrible Noise insulation, which makes the room feel like sleeping on the street. Curtains do not block sunlight. Too far the sea and everything else. First and last stay.

I recently stayed in this hotel with my family. The hotel itself was wonderful, great staff, very clean, peaceful. It was far away from the noise of Ao Nang beach but close enough that only took less than ten minutes to get there by car. The hotel offers free shuttle to and from the beach, available certain hours of the day. After my stay my family and I were traveling to Krabi. We booked our transportation thru the hotel. Our driver was Hassaan, he was amazing and kept us safe on the way there. He was also very nice and attractive every time we saw him in the hotel.

Hotel is a gem. It’s located in a quiet area of Krabi, 10’ drive from Ao Nang beach. We really wanted to be secluded from the caos and this was the perfect place for that. They offer free shuttle to the beach every hour so it’s very convenient. Staff is willing to help at all times, rooms are spacious. Breakfast is amazing, plenty of options. Will 100% recommend.

We enjoyed tremendously our 3-night stay here. The room was large, the views from the window are fantastic, breakfast was excellent and the pool was beautiful and great fun. The location is not perfect (7 minutes by car from central Ao Nang, not walkable), but the almost-hourly free shuttle from the hotel to the center is convenient. Above all - the staff was fantastic. We did encounter some issue during our stay (not the hotel’s fault), and everyone in the staff went out of their way to solve the issues and ensure that we are happy with the resolution. It is was a level of customer care that is rare to find even in the best hotels.

I booked a family room as it was listed for 5 guests. However, upon getting there they told me that it was maximum 3 adults and that we would need to pay extra. Upon getting to the room, it was very outdated and not like the other rooms. We were disappointed. It was also not close to the town, but they had a shuttle that ran every hour to drive us there. Breakfast buffet was included and was amazing!

I did give this resort a three but I almost gave it a two. My rating is 2.5

This resort was out of the way but had a shuttle to Ao Nang Beach which was convenient. It is about 40 minutes into Krabi town. The sky bar was great, offering a beautiful sunset and great drinks. We also really enjoyed our meal in the rooftop restaurant.

We however, had some serious issues with cleanliness in our room. The room smelled of mildew. When we arrived the floor looked as if it hadn’t been mopped. I stepped on a piece of glass and I didn’t break any glass. The sheets had not been changed since the previous guest - the pillow had a funny smell and there were black specs of dirt and sand in them. Worse when my husband lifted the pillow and there were eyelash extensions from the last guest!!!!

We immediately addressed the sheet issue with the staff and they handled it professionally having someone come change the sheets immediately which was appreciated.

Our other challenge was that they didn’t put new towels in the room on the second day so we had to ask for towels. The staff seemed a little annoyed by this but did provide us with new towels.

In general the staff were helpful and kind. We wouldn’t stay again here due to the issues with our room but would recommend the sky bar.

Concern for the environment in hotel practices was great! Staff encouraged us to visit the beach near there by longboat. What a great suggestion. Loved the shuttle service. Staff set up our transfer to an island, taxi, bus, ferry and taxi and the transfer went well. No problems. Definitely stat again.

The shuttle was useful however it was in demand so it would be good to have more than one an hour, especially coming back to the hotel at peak times. Also it was quite hard to get a taxi back late one night, all drivers were trying to rip us off, including official taxis so some later ones would be useful. The breakfast was good, one of the better ones I've had in Thailand but the juices were too sweet and artificial - Thailand has such lovely fruit, a juice station would go down well! Also lots of issues with the coffee machines and the coffee wasn't great! Overall a good stay though!

Was disappointed that there were no Ebooker platinum perks - no room upgrade despite rooms still being available to book online and the ‘free breakfast’ was in fact free for everyone! Lovely rooms, excellent breakfasts and fantastic Thai and international food from the restaurants, nice rooftop bar and restaurant with good views. We had amazing massages. Restaurant service was friendly service but it could be slow and more than once they forgot our orders or got them wrong. There often seemed to be trucks idling noisily for ages outside the main entrance which we could hear on our balcony and at the pool, which wasn't very relaxing, nor was the traffic on the road running past the hotel. Nevertheless we really enjoyed our stay.

The staff was so kind and helpful! A free shuttle service allowed us to go into town whenever we wanted. We used the in house tour guide for several day adventures as well. The spa was quiet and relaxing. We got massages almost every day. The rooftop bar/restaurant had beautiful views of the limestone cliffs and ocean. Tee restaurant in the jungle (just behind the resort) was a fun local spot to grab food as well. I don’t think you can find a better place for this price anywhere else in the world!

The reception staff and activities desk were very helpful. The shuttle service that ran almost hourly was a bonus. They were very accommodating. Wolfgang was always around to talk to customers and see to their needs.

We really liked the hotel and staff members. We had the spa room, loved the japanese room setting. Staffs were friendly and they would go out of their way to welcome us. Breakfast was great too, the omelette station was a bonus. The resort was not busy, you can feel the serenity around there. Thank you again and we will be back. Hotel makes some really good drinks and offered fresh coconut water. You can order Grab food to be delivered to the hotel if you want to taste other types of Thai food nearby.

It was a real pleasure to stay at Anana Resort. All the staff are amazing. They make you feel so special, going out of their ways to make you feel welcome. Many many thanks to the whole team (Johan, Peter, Pop, Eak, Tu, Aekky and all the others). Special thanks to Pop and Peter for organising such a sweet romantic dinner with only 24hour notice. It was done so tastefully, way past our expectations. Many thanks for treating us like royalty.
We loved everything about the resort: the food, the location (removed form the hustle and bustle of Ao Nang main road, yet only 20mn walk from it), the free shuttle, the wonderful organic farm, the rooms, the view, etc.
We enjoyed every minute of our stay there.
Thank you ever so much again to Johan and all the staff. You guys made us feel real special.

Beautiful and clean resort with a minimalist feel. Morning yoga on the rooftop was a refreshing experience. Great service and food. We also participated in a few exciting tours around the area. Special thanks to Aekky for assisting us with numerous bookings throughout our stay!

We highly recommend this property, as a family of four traveling from there US for vacation. The staff is outstanding and approachable. The view, pool, room are impressive. There is a serene and friendly presence and all the guests were equally respectful. The desire to be eco-friendly and provide a reasonably priced alternative in Krabi is noted. We had excellent spa and massage services. Finally -- the food was amazing at all sites associated with this property!!! Stay and eat:)

Wonderful hotel with a beautiful pool. The shuttle bus out to the city centre was really handy as well. I had room service and ate at the restaurant a couple times, and the food was amazing. The in-house garden was beautiful and such a refreshing change from the usual big name hotels. Wonderful roof top area, if only they converted it into a proper useable space. Highly recommended!

Such an oasis just off the hustle and bustle of the beach. Thai hospitality is even more amazing here and the staff are our new friends. Can’t beat the fresh produce from the gardens and inspiring ecological mission of the resort.

Really cool hotel but restaurant prices are sooooo overpriced. We had the smallest and most expensive lunch there and nope, it was by far not the best one we’ve had in Thailand.
Staff is really nice but still has to learn a lot. Overall a really good hotel. The location was pretty good as it was quiet but still central.

I honestly found this hotel via YouTube bloggers when I was searching places to stay on Thailand. I was very mesmerized by this hotel for the different types of rooms they provide plus the infinity pool was beautiful. The staff was so welcoming and helpful especially when it came to suggestions of places to visit and eat. I booked a spa studio and I was so impressed! I loved the bathtub next to the bed but wish they provided some bubbles or flowers to go with it ha! The bed was SUPER comfy, I slept so well. Ao Nang is just 10 mins away and the hotel provides a complimentary shuttle which is awesome! I will definitely stay here again!

We have just spent splendid 4 nights at Anana and we absolutely loved it there. The staff are kind, thoughtful and the service impeccable. We love the push for sustainability, their drive to improve. If you are an eco conscious and responsible traveller, this place will tick all your boxes. The shuttle songthaew makes popping to the centre of Krabi easy while keeping the nightlife noise away at the hotel. The pool, vegan cafe and the morning yoga is all one needs to relax. The staff are also happy to recommend responsible tour companies for day trips. All in all, a true five star service.

Everything was perfect. Pristine and aesthetically appealing. Comfortable bed, excellent bathroom..shower, layout, amenities. My room had a glorious bathtub which overlooked beautiful scenery. Staff was kind and helpful, restaurant was pleasant...nice breakfast. The rooftop happy hour was lovely; enjoyed watching the sunset and chatting with the owner. The pool was beautiful. Shuttle brought us right downtown in minutes. I’d rather be out of the fray and take a quick ride in and out. I travel often and this has been my top hotel experience ever.

Best hotel we've ever stayed in. Was fairly slow (low season) so I could imagine the staff must get bored throughout the day but you'd never know because they have such polite, happy, accommodating attitudes. We stayed down by the beach the next night at a different hotel and we definitely miss the Eco lodge to say the least!

We were very impressed with all the complementary services such as the breakfast buffet (was delicious), 15 minute foot massage, sauna, pool, yoga, shuttle, the list goes on!

If I'm being super picky I'd say some people might say it's far from town but it added to the serene experience for us and the free shuttle makes up for it. (we rented scooters). Also the tv was being underutilized as the tv shows were pretty low resolution and blurry, but we don't come to Thailand to watch T.V.

Otherwise the room was phenomenal, clean and cozy. Comfiest beds we've had in Thailand so far. But the attentive friendly staff really topped off the experience. 11/10 we will probably be back before we leave Krabi.

Amazingly memorable stay at Anana!

An amazing experience at Anana! Such a peaceful and beautiful hotel! I spent my 30th birthday here and did not regret a minute of it! So many intricate details to this hotel that make it special. If you are looking for somewhere that's close to the hustle and bustle, this may not be the place for you as getting to the main strip is a bit of a distance, however there is a shuttle that takes you there and back, that runs on a schedule. Overall cannot compliment this place enough. Many thanks to the staff for making my day so special! I won't forget it in a hurry.
