If you are a family of 4 (2 kids) family room they offer is not suitable at all. Room has one king size bed for two people , one single ( or very small double) for one person only and a bench under the window which they call a bed. Child older then 4 years old won’t fit on that bench so be careful , they charge for extra bed. Reception staff barely speak English and to explain that my 12 years old child can not fit on that bench was a struggle. Mosquitoes in the room in the bathroom , they live there, we were bitten during the night even though we sprayed the room
And used smoky anti mosquito coils. The Main Street is full of shops they sell plastic crap, next time I would avoid this area at all. Beach is dirty , plastic floats everywhere, water is very murky and dirty, much better is railway beach. Would not stay in this area next time, too commercial

The breakfest buffet was delicious and the staff amazing the biggest issued was ha ing to log back into wifi and at times only worked outside the room on while in it besided thst great stay will be back if im in krabi

I got CATFISHED! Pictures on the website do not match the reality. We booked the deluxe room. Right away as we walked to the building that our room was located in, we can tell the building was old and run down. Hallway was dirty, light flickering, spider webs across ceiling. We got into our room and it looked like a roach motel. The worst part, it was a connecting room that did not lock meaning whoever stayed on the other side had access to our room. We tested it and we were able to unlock their room and vice versa. We had our rooms changed. Our new room wasn’t any better as far as cleanliness. The shower was full of black mold, room smelled like mold and very outdated. I turned on the AC + the smaller portable unit next to the bed and hooked up my charger for my phone and the power in the building went out LOL We checked out and went to Centara, waaaaaaaaay better resort.

I was a bit frustrated when I checked in and they didn’t upgrade my room as promised, instead they put me on the 3rd floor in the back of the hotel. I’m giving them 4 stars because they allowed us to use their facilities after checking out and coming back from a tour.
Pros: right smack in the middle of the action, very comfortable bed, and nice suites (they allowed us to use them - pics attached)
Cons: no elevator, old pool, front desk ladies were not very friendly at check in.

Everything about this hotel was good except the staff. Upon check in we were told that one of the rooms that we booked wasn’t available and that they were going to give us a smaller room with two twin beds. When we said that we paid more for our room the manager and the women working reception started laughing at us and saying well no refunds. After a while of us trying to get the room we paid for I was told by the manager that she wants to talk to someone else in our group while laughing and saying no refunds. Finally after we didn’t let up she gave us an upgraded room one night later but our group had to stay in the smaller cheaper room for one night. Other than that the hotel was fine, has everything you need. Great location, but manager definitely needs training because it is not acceptable to laugh at customers for something the hotel messed up

I think they need to install some elevators as this steps can be dangerous especially at night, when bringing luggage’s up and down and for both staff and clients. Other than that my experience was amazing. Beach front property, clean spacious rooms and my pool Villa was my happiness. Close to everything but it gives u peace and quiet when needed. The spa was great and the staff was more than welcoming. I would want to come back..maybe when they have the elevator installed to the higher floors.

We stayed here for 3 nights. It's in a nice location. Walkable to so many shops around the hotel. Only one thing that I would like the hotel to manage is the noise from some rooms above and around my room. The walls don't seem to block the noise so well. If you are a light sleeper, bring earplugs with you. Breakfast buffet doesn't have many options but the fruits were very tasty. Staff were super friendly and helpful.

All 3 Jacuzzi Pool that I booked were in a bad conditions and super bad maintenance!! Lots of defects
to mention! Main pool and even the personal Jacuzzi was super dirty! Breakfast was ok and not much of variety! Plus points,the staff there were friendly..but overall, I think its not worth the price I'm paying and to me,I felt the hotel was like a 2* instead of what it reflected in their website. Very disappointing as I stay 5 nights!

Beautiful property! Very clean and the room were spacious and felt luxurious with many amenities like a fully stocked fridge ! I had an incident with my luggage with the airline and the employees were so helpful with locating it and getting it delivered. Perfect perfect location as well! You can grab a Longtail on either end of the the block. It is right on the beach- it’s not the prettiest beach in Krabi as it’s filled with Longtail’s but that’s the point ! Grab one and go right around the bend to Railay!

Absolutely loved it! The property is in great condition and well maintained. The staff is amazing and go out of their way to assist. My room had a patio overlooking the pool. The room itself was big and nicely decorated. The bed was dangerously comfortable. They thought of everything; from umbrellas to flip flops, to beach bags. The location is excellent, right across from the beach and surrounded by restaurants, shops, bars...etc. The pool area is like a little oasis. You won't regret staying here!

The only downside was the water in our bathroom is very low pressure and the room has mosquitoes(be sure to get a insect repellent)

A lovely, quiet oasis just across the road from the beach. Plenty of shops, bars and restaurants all around hotel. Spacious bedroom with large comfy bed and a beautiful fruit platter and complimentary items in our fridge was a wonderful surprise! Great breakfast and complimentary afternoon tea was a lovely touch. Best part was the wonderful hotel staff who were always friendly, helpful and very professional. Well done for providing such a welcoming and first rate experience for your guests.

Recently refurbished hotel in great location for shops bars restaurants beaches and port for boat trips to nearby islands.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Excellent welcome to hotel.
Restaurant serving excellent food, better than local eateries and for same prices. No alcohol served though. Great breakfast buffet.
Local bus service to Krabi town directly outside hotel as is main beach across the road than runs directly outside and past hotel driveway.

Rooms are comfortable as are the beds. Some noise from local bars that play live music up until midnight, sometimes later. Ear plugs work a treat so take some with you!

Beware of mosquitos in high season. Take a mosquito killer device!

Having seen other hotels and resorts in local area The Princeville takes some beating.

Hotel has 3 small swimming pools with beds and umbrellas which is great as beaches on Krabi offer nothing in terms of beds and umbrellas so beaches are uncomfortable with no shade cover.

This property is in a perfect location in AoNong. The employees were all very nice. Breakfast was better than expected with a view of the ocean. There was construction going on during the day, and the local area gets pretty loud, but the hotel can’t control the neighbors. I would stay here again. Only 2 minor complaints- the spa was not running as a spa, just another pool space, and no alcoholic beverages available for purchase on site. We just brought beer back and left it in the fridge.

Best stay in princeville. Even though the princeville rather mature but it was comfortable. Staff was really helpful as we request a few during our stay. Breakfast was delicious and quite a spread of options and change alternate during our stay.

We stayed here one night and checked out early. Our hotel room looked like it had maybe been broom cleaned once in the last few months. There were spots on the tile and in the shower that looked like they could be bodily fluids. our friends had blood stains on their bed and asked the hotel to change the sheets. They did change the sheets but showed no remorse or even seemed surprised that this had happened.
For the price, which is comparable to almost 5 star hotels in some parts of Thailand, this was very disappointing. The staff all seemed unhappy as well. I do not recommend this hotel at all.

Do not stay here! The staff is rude, and the rooms are filthy! We had dried blood on our fitted sheet, when we notifyed the front desk, they werent concerned about it and said the would have someone come change the sheet when they could. Not even an apology. The bathroom has unidentifiable substance growing in it and the room looks as though it’s never been dusted. The bed was super lumpy and you could feel the springs of the mattresses. It should also be noted that this hotel caters to the Muslim population, so no alcohol or pork is allowed on premises. Which isn’t a big deal for us, but would have been nice to know ahead of time so we could plan on finding a near by place to have drinks ahead of time. We only stayed the first night of what was supposed to be four, and checked out that next day.

Don't stay at Princeville Ao Nang!

Other than the location, all went bad. No electric was available when we arrived. Incredible generator sound next to our room. The pool was milky and not transparent! Mosquitos were all over, The breakfast had many Thai & western food but very few are ate-able! They even hassled me with taxi fare that I was not responsible. It was just horrible.

I will never recommend this place not I would return.

Check in process was smooth. 2 rooms: family room and deluxe room. Deluxe room has poor lighting. Saw the staffs putting additional light upon check out. Toothbrush for the deluxe room was not provided. Request for additional towel for our baby. The staff send was showing a unhappy face. Aircon was not working at 1am. 1st time power trip. 2nd time copper wire faulty and replace. Had to stay in the warm room when we wanted to sleep for almost 2 hours without aircon. Breakfast was so so. Probably because the hotel has only 50 rooms. Not much guest. Check out time 12pm. Request to extend till 1pm was not granted. Probably only good thing was cause of the location.

Breakfast was average.Dont expect bacon. no lift so people who struggle with steps this may be a problem. Hotel is dated and needs a re paint rooms smelt musty and beds are like concrete slabs. Better properties elsewhere.

Nice hotel with efficient, friendly staff. Couple of downsides: pool area is very shaded by trees, room was spacious although wardrobe and drawer space for clothing was lacking. No main room light to give brightness when needed so had an overall dark feel. The air conditioning was not efficient enough. From the outside the hotel is in need of a lick of paint. The restaurant did not sell alcohol which we felt was a shame as we enjoy a glass of wine with our evening meal. Great location for beach, restaurants and other amenities.

Great Place for Honeymoon

The staff gave us a warm welcome upon arrival. Shared the facilities of the resort and showed us to our room, going through every part of the room. We were also delighted that they upgraded our room to honeymoom suite. Location is very convenient, near the beach with the souvenir shops along the whole stretch. Halal restaurant is a walking distance to Muslim Street, however, the Resort serves delicious halal food.Thank you Ao Nang Resort & Spa! We had a wonderful honeymoon.

We arrived at the hotel on NYE and after a 14 hr flight. We requested a quiet room and a pick up 48 hrs and 24hrs prior. The hotel didn’t arrive at the airport nor did they respond to our emails. Arrived and the security guard greeted us on a busy road, we waited for someone to collect our luggage which seemed disorganised, checked in and the room was ok a bit worn out but quite large. The outlook of dirty water and air conditioning units is not pleasant. However, what struck us was the insanely loud band and compère that we could hear as if they were in our room. So we escaped as it was NYE. On our arrival back the noise from downstairs pool stopped at 1am and the changed to a nearby bar that was literally pumping until 4am which seemed like karaoke and a band. I tried to complain but reception seemed to think I was trying to book a room, it was very annoying. We got no sleep as after the disturbance we were than awoken by an 8am morning funfair noise which the hotel rang out from downstairs!! All in all, it was horrendous and we paid £160per night. The area was not nice and was very busy and we would not go back. We complained in the morning and the manager seemed as if she didn’t care, no refund or assistance. The breakfast was not great and and the coffee was bad!! Really bad start to our trip :(

A quiet sanctuary on the doorstep of Ao Nang

Despite being in the heart of the activity of Ao Nang Beach the resort is lovely and peaceful. A lush tropical garden surrounds the pool and shades the rooms, providing a quiet haven to escape to whenever you need a break from the hustle and bustle of Ao Nang. The air conditioning in the room is lovely and cold, providing comfortable sleep and a welcome break from the hot humid weather of Krabi.

The staff are all warm, friendly, respectful people. We especially loved the ladies in the Princeville Day Spa who were so sweet! We loved the spa treatments and highly recommend the Thai massage which is amazing after your long flight.

Awesome halal hotel

Awesome hotel n halal friendly. Walking distance to alot of halal eateries. The hotel staff bring a birthday cake to our room n sang birthday song to my hubby.. Both of us was touched by their gesture as we did not expect it. Kudos to the staff.

Fantastic..would definitely go there again.there are many shops around, and if you feel like having a quiet time, a stroll at the beach is available nearby.

Excellent Hotel right in middle of AuNong

Stayed 10 days at resort (our second stay). We are not Muslim, still we find it a great place to stay. The staff were great ,we arrived very early and reception arranged our rooms by 11am. The girls were always smiling and easy to talk to. Our room was on ground floor in block opposite restaurant, it was quite except for people above scraping furniture over tiles, room spacious but bed a bit hard for what we are used to, however staff arranged extra quilt to sleep on which helped. Pool is great, only wish they would allow swimming up till 9pm.
Restaurant food is halah, still we found enough to satisfy us.
We would stay again as good value for money in great position

Nice hotel, close to the beach and local shopping area, plus restaurants. Relaxed atmosphere.
Only the eating area (breakfast) could be decorated with less emphasis to Halal food and more/ better variety of food offer.

Good place to relax after a busy day!

Good value hotel with everything you need for a good base. Some boats leave right from outside at Aonang Beach. Shops nearby, with plenty of tours on offer. Hotel clean and offers good breakfast to set you off for the day. Nice Staff!
