The staff were absolutely amazing - so polite and friendly. They welcomed us back every time we came back from being out. The location is also excellent and use of the beautiful pool at the sister hotel was fantastic.

This is our second time at this hotel, the A/C wasn’t working in our room when we came but they fixed it right away and it was great the rest of our stay. The cafe downstairs is amazing - fresh and delicious. Definitely do not get cat fished here like some other hotels in Thailand. Everything is exactly like the photos, the staff are friendly (some more than others). Highly recommend - we can’t wait to be back!

Our first night in Ao Nang and it didn’t disappoint. This hotel is central to a lot of bars and restaurants. The room was large, clean and had everything you would need for a stay. Air conditioning was already set and we had a great stay. You must have breakfast at the cafe at the hotel, delicious food and friendly staff.

Building in need of a lot of repairs. Water barely trickled out of the shower and would get hot for a few seconds then back to cold. You can only get one pool towel per day for whatever reason and they have a lot of fake save the environment style signage when actually they are just being very cheap about toiletries and cleaning.

The room was spacious and had everything you need, it could do with a coat of paint as some of the walls were dirty . The outlook was ugly and at night dreadfully noisy from the bars.
The sister hotel next door where you can swim has a very nice bar with a beautiful outlook.

This property was just gross. Old, dated and dirty rooms. The club next floor blasts music until 2am. No hot water, which was fine because the shower was so gross I wouldn’t touch it. Luckily we only stayed 1 night. Just avoid.

The hotel itself was fine for the money I paid, its location is really why I chose it and that worke dout fine. The service however was terrible, I was very surprised how rude the staff were, epecially the front-desk lady. Breakfast had some good things like eggs and fruit, but the coffee and juices were undrinkable. Overall this palce isok to stay for 1-2 days for its proximity to the beach and ferry ports, but there are better options in the area.

We would stay again if in the area

The rooms were spacious but the bathrooms were a bit small, no microwave in the room, and the beds were harder than we are used to. The water pressure was great and plenty of hot water. The breakfast was wonderful as was the staff at the front desk, housekeeping, and dining. The location was fabulous - a few blocks from the beach and beach road. Plenty of restaurants and stores to choose from.

This hotel was such an amazing property to stay at in Krabi! It was in a great location, walking distance to beach with tons of restaurants and shops around. The cafe inside the hotel was phenomenal, we ate here almost every day. The breakfast included was a huge plus!

Everything would have been perfect except for the noise of a pub club playing disco music until 1~2am. You can wear your earplugs (which are free, by the way), but the low-pitched sounds will still resonate through your bones. Great staff, perfectly fine buffet breakfast, very clean.

This place was amazing! Rooms were very spacious and clean. Very close to everything you’ll need, food, shopping, bars, 711, etc.. would recommend getting the breakfast option because I didn’t and ended up just paying for it because it smelled so good! Would recommend 10/10!

Spacious room, with adequate facilities. We had a hot water issues that was fixed quickly. The bed was comfortable. The room overall is clean and good value, though could use more places for putting away clothing. The room curtains are not blackout so if you're a night owl, bring a sleep mask.

Very clean, good size rooms close to the ocean and the Main Street in Oa Nang, great location. Rooms a little dated, could use a bit of a makeover, but again, very clean. Our Included breakfast was great.

A little TOO convenient, perhaps, to the RCA bars

My room was comfortable, the breakfast buffet was very good, and the hotel is next door to the dive-shop with whom I went diving. It was also EXTREMELY convenient to the \"Soi RCA\" beer-bar complex ... a little TOO convenient, when the music was rockin' and I wanted some sleep! (Oh well, that's why Flents makes earplugs.)

One amusing note -- I asked for a king-bed room, and they made it by shoving together the twin beds normally used in this room. You could see it by the \"headboards\" built into the wall above the beds....

The location is excellent. Only 5 min walk to the beach. All the staff was very friendly and helpful especially Dida who assisted us in moving to another room because of the noise from the bars adjacent to the hotel. Housekeeping was quick and efficient and the restaurant staff was polite and friendly. The only drawback is the noise from the bars. Suggest staying at the back and or top floor of the hotel to minimise the noise.

Nice hotel, spacious rooms, friendly staff. Big advantage is the option to use the pool facilities at Peace Laguna Hotel. Good variety of food at breakfast, however the room is too small and it gets crowded(perhaps extending the hours until 11am would help). The biggest let down for me was the fact that a family room which I booked didn’t have any balcony or patio, just a bit outside area to dry wet clothes. On this occasion I found the description of the hotel (‘all rooms have balcony or patio’) misleading. Another thing I didn’t like is that hotel is trying to bribe the guests with a gift if they leave them a good review on TA.

Sheets and pillows did not smell fresh (b.o) or that they had been washed (properly)...found one pillow had mould under the cover.
First day we entered the room and opened the fridge the freezer had defrosted and the flat tray that collects the water was full to the brim and had to ask for an extra towel as it had spilled when I tried to empty the water plus there were floaty bits. I also cleaned the fridge inside with wet wipes as there was some mould.

The property has really good reviews so I found that part really disappointing.

Staff were pleasant. Facilities available were decent, and bathroom was clean. Access to the pool at the resort next door was nice and an added bonus was that the pool closes at 10pm and Verandah provides towels to borrow for the pool/beach.

Location is great and close to the beach and many shops.

The hotel was very comfortable, although the room, while large, is not as \"fresh\" as the photos suggest. Staff was very good, especially the front desk manager, Ms Dida, who was very friendly and helpful in so many ways (particularly in arranging a dentist for me when I needed some temporary root canal treatment!). Breakfast was good, with freshly cooked eggs. Great to be able to use the pool and fitness centre in the \"sister\" hotel next door. Good location, close to everything in Ao Nang.

Asked for king size bed.but actually a combined 2 single beds. 1 bed was too soft and the other was hard. I ended up sleeping diagonally and now im having backache.
Toilet showerhead was faulty, projecting water upwards instead downwards thus causing unnecessary water splashes.

This spot was amazing. I couldn't have asked or anything more. The staffs made us felt very comfortable and valued. They went out of their way to make sure we had everything we needed. Booked tours with them and when we came back they even had a shower room for us + towels to get cleaned up. K. Bee and K. Wan, Kudos to them, we forgot a pair of shoes and they even made sure to send it back to us. If I'm going to Krabi I don't need to look any further. Will book with them again. The pancake was amazing at breakfast.

Beautiful hotel. Location is perfect. The room was stunning- lighting, amenities, comfort of bed, balcony. Breakfast was delicious and we were very happy with our upgrade. Glad we came here for our honeymoon. Only critique- they should definitely have air conditioning or at least fans downstairs for breakfast- it was too hot with 35c weather. Air con in the rooms were modern and powerful. Loved our stay.

In main area, but quite quiet for a good night sleep.

For Muslims, a lot of halal restaurants/hawkers within 3km radius from the hotel.

The pictures make this hotel look great, whereas when you get there it is shabby! The ‘double bed’ was two singles pushed together with a sheet over them! The one side was comfy the other rock hard and very uncomfortable! The room overlooked the streets where there is a bar street the next street along, so sleeping didn’t happen until into the very early hours maybe 4/5am! The location of the hotel was very good in regards to beach and local amenities.

The hotel was nice enough, close to the main beach, and comfortable. While we were there the staff was friendly. However, when we left and went to stay in Pattaya, we needed paperwork from the Verandah to prove that we had stayed in Krabi and that our hotel had registered us with immigration. However, the Verandah was not helpful at all! They would not provide us with anything saying it was not their problem. So, either they did not actually register us when we checked in, or they neglected to give us the paperwork that we were supposed to receive.

Overall it is a decent hotel with good location which is near to the beach and amenities. The only setback is the a/c is a bit noisy at night. The shower water pressure can be better. Other than that, it is all alright. U can also access the swimming pool of peace Laguna hotel which 2 mins walk away.

Amazing value for price hotel! Very conveniently located on the main road in Krabi and only a 5 min walk to the beach. The hotel staff went out of their way to help us with trip plans. From the moment we arrived the staff were friendly, and did everything they could to make you feel like a valued guest. The hotel is in a great central location, with restaurants, bars, shops and the beach all within a few minutes walk. The rooms were spacious, comfortable and clean. There is a small selection of both western and Thai food for breakfast, everything was fresh and plentiful, and was enjoyable.

A Gem of a place in Ao Nang

The glass doors to the balcony was top grade, cutting out 99% of noise from bars/restaurants around.... in a great spot to walk everywhere around the Ao Nang beach. And more bars, food, etc than you can poke a stick at..... have use of towels daily for the pool at the resort 50m down the road, or beach....Thoroughly recommend this place!!!!!.

We are so happy we booked here. It's more of a local B&B feel than a hotel. The staff are so lovely, always smiling, will do anything to make your stay comfortable, and always greet you with a warm Thai welcoming. We especially can't say enough about the morning breakfast - it's amazing and they go above and beyond than a typical hotel breakfast! The sweet lady named Sun, makes hot omlettes, pancakes or crepes made to order right in front of you! She was so lovely each morning. Fresh fruit, and sometimes a nice Thai variety too! OTHER plus's: Strong and reliable wifi signal, Very good air conditioning, very comfortable bed (considering most hotels have hard Thai beds), impeccably clean and spotless! Large and comfortable standup shower. Each room has a balcony with a view. Wonderful touches ie. complimentary large water each day, complimentary beach towel. If you forget your toothbrush, razor they will give you one also. Location: right on the strip and mins to Walking Street. Short walk to Ao Nang beach and pier where you can catch the longboats for day trips. PS: Ao Nang beach/water is not nice. Do the day trips to other neighbouring islands! Especially Koh Hong and Koh Poda!

Lovely hotel close to the beach

The room was large, clean and very modern. The hotel is a 3 minute walk to the beach and the pool at the sister hotel is lovely. With being so close to everything it was quite noisy on a night but not enough to keep us awake. Overall, we loved this hotel and would definitely recommend it.

Had a super time here. Close to beach and everything. Could do with a bit updating but then it is only a 3 star and reasonable price. However the staff worked well to keep it clean and tidy. Super breakfast with everything to choose from. Even made a decent strong cup of tea. Staff very friendly, cheerful and helpful especially when lost my suitcase key. Had a problem with the toilet and they fixed it immediately. Next time I'd ask for a room at the back because at the front you have the noise from an open air night club in the next street until 2pm, it's very loud and so are the people! Loved getting fresh fruit prepared for me by the chap walking up and down the beach with all the fruit on one end of a pole and his b-b-q cooking the corn at the other end slung over his shoulder. Had a super time for a lone lady traveller I felt very safe even late at night. A very lively resort. Free safe. Fridge.

Complimentary water and toilet papers were not provided daily, must call to request when we are back to hotel each night except on the last (4th) night. Staff on night shift was unfriendly as we feedback that heater was sometimes hot and cold. He told us that maintenance staff had gone back and no one can assist at night. That means if anything is down within the room, you have to wait until the next morning then get help. My first time to encouter that there is no maintenance support at a hotel for 24/7. The staff who prepared breakfast were friendly and helpful.

It's a value for money hotel to stay in. The rooms are clean and simple with the basic necessities that your need and comfortable enough for a pleasant stay. It's also located very near to the main street and yet not affected by the noise and busy activities that you may expect, the design took care of this which I think they have done a pretty good job.

No room service and restaurants in the hotel but they do provide a decent breakfast spread every morning, good enough to get your day started with a smile.

I would recommend this hotel as it will meet most people's needs for a nice place to stay at night while the day was spent shopping and at the beach.

Great boutique hotel close to beach & everything

My friend and I had a great stay at The Verandah Hotel. Its a lovely boutique hotel in a very central location close to cafes, restaurants and a 2-3 minute walk to the beach at the end of the street. The staff were lovely - very friendly and accommodating. Bee from the front desk is fantastic! The lobby decor is gorgeous and we had a nice breakfast buffet one morning. The banana mini muffins are amazing! We went for swim in the pool next door which was nice with beautiful views. The only downside was the water pressure in the shower - its so incredibly hard it was painful even with the taps almost turned off. The water would fluctuate from scalding hot to cold every few seconds. I had to wear a swimsuit to avoid my nipples being ripped to shreds from the water pressure.

i would have given 5 for service because of the very accomodating female staffs behind the counter but i will have to give just 3. because u have this male staff who is very very rude. he talks rudely to u on the phone. i ask for help for an additional pillow and he said something which i cudnt understand and hang up the phone. no one send the pillow. my fren called again, he just hang up the phone after my friend ask for a pillow. about 15minutes later someone did send the pillow. this male staff of urs, i have seen a lot of bad reviews about him. ur hotel is awesome but he is bad experience for ur customers. please do something about it. thank you.

Comfortable hotel

So far so good hotel room is comfortable but there is no seaview. Hotel is near to the town and is very convenient a lot of halal food I can find.Staff very friendly and can understand english.

Great hotel stay

Nice hotel located about 200 metres from the beach. Right in the middle of the main strip but located down a side street avoiding much of the noise. Rooms have Windows double glazed to reduce noise. Bee on reception was very good. Beds a little hard. Small verandah great for sitting outside and also drying clothes. Breakfast great. Suggest they put soft closers on the hotel room doors as other guests tend to bang them closed at all hours.

Really lovely little hotel. Staff helped us with lost luggage and were very friendly. The beds were rock hard. What's up with that?

The location is gd.

The location is gd to go every where. But at night got a bit noisy from outside the other pub noise. The hotel hot shower are very little of water. Other than that, everything is gd. From the street, they are a lot of small shops selling sourviour, pub , restaurants, street food. And u should try the BBq fish was very nice in sentence cooking. . Better stay in Aonang beach here. The krabi town are nothing to see, just only nightmakets . The tuktuk was very expensive.

Nothing special; not recommend

First of all I booked a room with a double bed. Got two single beds. They couldn't change my room until the next day. Besides that, the shower head was really old, so the water just came out of a few of the little holes, which made it either get no water out of it or skin reaping pressure.
Also, there was one very rude gentleman at the reception. All the time we went there he didn't acknowledge us at the moment; we even had to wait for him to finish playing on his phone before talking to us!!
AC was quite loud also

Anyway, once there was nothing special about this hotel, I would not come back and I would not recommend.

Great, clean and stylish little place!

Brilliant, clean and nice looking hotel in good location, just up from the beach and lots of good restaurants and bars around! Also great street food just across the road, so can get cheap food if needed! Only thing I could think of is the bathroom lets the room down abit, still very clean but toilet abit rubbish and shower slightly unpredictable! But don't let that put you off! Breakfast was nice, cute, clean and boutique little dining area downstairs with a selection of cereals, fruit, pastries and toast etc, also a choice of proper breakfast (eggs, bacon etc). Would stay again!

Hotel is within walking distance to central.

Hotel staff are very friendly. If you need any information about Ao Nang you may check with the counter staff. Breakfast was provided and it was great. The family room we book was very clean and spacious and also had a balcony. House keeping was excellent. They tidied up the room thoroughly even though ours was quite messy each time we left. The hotel location is quite an ideal spot for those who still want to be near the central area at Ao Nang. It is easy to access shops and 24 hours marts are nearby as well.

Really a nice stay. Location is good, near to everything by walking (beach, resto, bars and shops). Room is good and clean, ac works well (a bit noisy but doesn't bother your sleep), bathroom is clean. Breakfast menu is various and good. Staffs are very helpful.

Great room. Great price. Good location.

Great price for a really nice room in walking distance to water taxis and restaurants. We stayed in the new section of the hotel and the room was spacious, clean and well decorated. Perfect for us.
