We had a problem at our bathroom.. there was a leaking coming out of the bath that nobody came to check after I told the staff. The fire show was amazing.. food and buffet was great but there’s room for improvement

I would consider this resort, pretty rundown and old. We had a king suite pool view other than the room being spacious, everything else is not very updated. The ceiling lights did not function, so the room was pretty dark. The mattress and pillows were hard as a rock. There are also no elevators. Seven hours prior to arriving I had requested. We have two twin beds since we had that option. Upon arriving, when we checked in at 6 PM, we were told that our room was not ready so they put us in a king suite 2nd level. Unfortunately, my mother is unable to walk up and down the stairs since there are no elevators so then we were put in another room. The resort itself is very widespread and there are two pools. This is a beachfront access but no lounge chairs available. I think this place is overpriced and I definitely do not consider this a resort. The breakfast was 6/10.

Such a lovely choice of hotel for our stay in Krabi. Right next to the beach and main strip so close to everything.
The hotel was clean, well kept grounds and great staff!!!
We even got a room upgrade so cannot complain at all !!!
Definitely recommend this place!

I feel this resort charges high prices because of the view, and it being right on Ao Nang Beach. The staff didn’t seem to want to go above and beyond.

Example: I asked for a few bananas and other fruits to bring to my room as my wife was not feeling well and missed breakfast. The restaurant employee kept saying that the kitchen is closed - which is fine, but I could see the bananas on the counter.. eventually she ended up giving me a few. Another occasion I was at the pool, and asked an employee for some towels - he said that I should call housekeeping from my room? I’m already by the pool and I have to go back to the room to call? Our room was around 12,000 Bhat each night but the service was just ok, nothing special.

We stayed here twice, the first 2 night stay was great, this one night stay not as good. I've already reviewed our first stay and everything was great. This time it was down to the room which was in need of a bit of updating, but the worst thing was it's proximity to the sewerage system. We were only staying one night with a very early start to go to the airport. The room smelled 'drainy' when we walked in which the housekeeping staff had tried to mask with a room spray. the balcony which overlooked the pool didn't smell, but the wafts from outside the door side were awful. We should have asked to change room, but I hadn't booked this last night until fairly late on and I think the hotel was probably fully booked. Its a convenient stay for the beginning or end of your trip for good access to Krabi airport and everything else about the hotel and staff was good, but if you're given a room in the 6 block (our room was 6212) then ask to change, because we could smell drains all night in the room!

Easy friendly check in. Comfortable clean room, with a nice balcony overlooking gardens. Opposite Aonang beach and convenient for shops, restaurants etc. Onsite bar and restaurants are good if you don't feel like going out and great buffet breakfast with eggs cooked to order.

Arrived to a warm greeting, a welcome drink, and a free upgrade to an ocean view room. The staff was friendly and accommodating, the grounds were gorgeous and our newly refurbished room was beautiful. Breakfast was great,and the proximity to the beach was just a few steps away. We stayed for 10 nights, and loved our entire stay, thanks Aonang Villa resort!

Excellent room. Perfect busy location close to everything you need or could want. Breakfast is plentiful but lacking what most westerners eat for breakfast like sliced ham or back bacon or porridge/oats. There Seems to be more Thai dinner type entrees than breakfast entrees. Coffee is excellent as are Juice and breads and danishes. Pools are beautiful or if you want you can walk across the path to a beautiful swimming beach and watch the fire shows at Sunset.

The amenities were great, the staff were lovely and the bartenders made great cocktails.

We stayed at the hotel for only 3 days and unfortunately they were doing renovations on the front of the property, but that did not hinder our experience much at all (just a bit loud from the tools in the day)

Perfect position - front driveway opens onto the main street, while the rear opens onto the beach. The pool is massive, clean and has a nice view. We stayed in a deluxe pool room. It was spacious, well appointed and comfortable, except the pillows were a bit hard. The staff are friendly and very helpful. The whole site was very clean. Breakfast was good, but not great.

The only negatives I had were the gym was in a dungeon of the hotel and not a good selection of machines. Also while at pool there was no service, no bar tender was ever at the pool bar I always had to search for someone to order food or drinks.

Comfortable and lots of Character in Krabi

Being the 2nd time staying here (first in 2022) its pretty apparent that not much has been done to spruce up the visible age of the hotel. Air vents can be seen fully rusted through, door and windows not sealed, and a everything has a very \"used\" feel which isn't what one expects for paying nearly $200 USD per night.

Alternatively, the front desk staff was lovely and accommodating, the food was nice, and the location is mostly what you are paying for. Very suitable for a mid range couple or family. Lots of relaxing to be done but not many on-site planned activities for somewhere that is a resort. The nightly fire show was quite cool to see, so that was a bonus! Overall I'd give it a 6.5/10

This hotel is right on the beach and very walkable to everything -long tail boats, food, massages, shopping etc. Krabi is loud and very touristy -we initially had a sea view room but switched to a garden room bc it was so loud beachfront. Also the sea view room was small and very old and the bathroom was in dire need of being renovated. The quietest and most picturesque area is around the back pool area. There are 2 pools -beachside and back. Usually you pay more to have a sea view but here it’s the back pool view rooms that are more. The breakfast was general buffet. Lots of options and juices/coffee. I was a little surprised at how touristy Krabi was -the bulk of restaurants served every type of food with picture menus (think Thai-Indian-Italian-American menu which in my experience that’s never good). This was a big change from being able to find great street food for much cheaper in other areas. We were able to find some not far from the hotel but compared to other places like Chaing Mai it didn’t compare. The staff at the hotel was amazing very kind and helpful. Tours were not more expensive booking it there vs on the street. Did a day tour to Hong island -unless you book a private long tail/boat you are in a mass tourism machine with hundreds of people coming and going all day so plan accordingly

Our room was not very clean, and had a smell. the bed and bedding were not comfortable. The shower accommodations were poor. The outlets in the rooms didn’t work 100% of the time, the tv did not work, and I thought the breakfast was average at best

Nice central place. Check in was a strict 3pm checkin so we had to wait a few hours to checkin which is always inconvenient with no flexibly which some hotels have. Staff were friendly. Food was good at normal hotel prices. We had a room overlooking the back pool and was really nice. Our friends upgraded to an ocean front pool and there room was not as nice and a damp smell and no hot water. I think the poolside rooms were better. It’s close to the shops and to hire the boats to go to the islands. To book these boats go directly to the beach as twice the price at the resort.

The staff at this property was very pleasant and friendly from the moment I arrived until the end of my stay. They responded quickly to any concern. I was unhappy with the property because it is outdated. The room I stayed in had an electrical fire and as a result we were placed in the senators suite, which was probably not used as frequently. Water in the toilet, sink and shower were brown. Bedsheets were dusty. Breakfast choices were also very limited. The beachfront property is beautiful and close to many stores/eats on the main strip.

Very nice resort in Aonang. Very comfortable, calm, nice pools, next to the sea/beach (quite private as away from the busy street) and nice view on the mountain. The personal is very helpful and agreable, making our stay smooth and enjoyable. The firework show every night was amazing. Breakfast was diversified and generous.

Perfect location

The location of this hotel is perfect. Directly on the beach and a short walk away from the main street. The hotel is super clean and the staff can’t do enough for you - always friendly. You are at the opposite end (about a 30 minute walk) to the night market but we liked doing this. I would definitely go back and gave suggested it to lots of friends.
