The Staff are so kind and show what true customer service is. I also would like to send a special Thank you to Rose the day trip organiser, she is fantastic at her job. The location hotel is perfect a 5 min walk if that from the beach and easy access to nearby bars.The pool is also a nice size and breakfest has a nice selection.

The room didn't have a microwave which I felt was odd and inconvenient. There was no way to reheat my leftovers. A microwave doesn't cost much and would go a long way as an added feature.

My stay at the Ava Sea Resort was great. I had a room on the 5th floor. The view was unbelievable. The staff were pleasant to deal with. Excursions were easy to book. It was close to the beach and all the amenities were close by. I would definitely stay here again.

The hotel is very nice location and it's only take 5 min walking to Ao Nang beach, the first day when we check in the room had no hot water to shower, but it got fix very quickly, also the room that we stay has a lot of mosquitos, my friend got a lot of bits on his legs

The staff was not accommodating at all. Gave us a hard time about towels🙄 it’s a beach hotel with a pool. They guard the towels like national security. We were fine with the sign out process but they wouldn’t give any extra towels for the room. It was actually extremely annoying

I’m sure the staff tried but poor English caused some confusion. Given wrong internet password. Rushed through check in and check out. Temperature control in room did not adjust properly. AC was either too cold or off completely. Breakfast not worth the €13. Front desk wouldn’t call a taxi and had to go to tour desk, pay a mark-up and wait half and hour.

Two night stay in Ao Nang.

This was only a 2 night stay before staying with my new Thai family. Checkin was quick and efficient. The receptionist was polite and informative. The hotel was very clean together with my room. Internet was strong and consistent. The hotel has a small pool area and a small gym. Only negative thing was my room faced onto the main road. The sound of mopeds travelling under harsh acceleration woke me up a few times but this is totally outside the control of the hotel. Otherwise a very enjoyable two days.

Not for light sleepers but great otherwise!

I really loved this hotel. The staff at check in were efficient. A man carried my luggage to my room. Everyone smiley and friendly! The location was so good!!! Walkable to the beach, the night market (about 30 mins walk, really recommend going).
Only bad side was SO much noise from outside (until about 1am) so I couldn’t sleep well - however my room was facing the road & I am a light sleeper anyway.

Great location, 5-min walk to Ao Nang beach. 7-11 downstairs. Friendly staff. Money exchange outside the lobby had the best rate. Some of the best restaurants and shopping nearby. Room was very clean and quiet. Breakfast was excellent with varieties. Swimming pool was clean and large. This hotel was by far the best we stayed in this trip (Phuket, Phi Phi and Krabi). We will stay here again.

Wonderful location! Staff is amazing and kind.

We had an extended stay here of 12 nights and really enjoyed it!! We got the pool access room and I enjoyed having that amenity.
We got to know the staff, they’re very kind if you are! They strive to provide a great guest experience! Be kind and patient with them, it’s a great team!
Our room was cleaned and well kept. Housekeeping did an amazing job, daily. The location is perfect. You can walk to anything, taxi service right outside. Laundry, and currency exchange next door.
All tours will also pick up and drop off here for free.
I enjoyed coffee and the egg bar in the mornings.

Room was clean. Staff were helpful. Location is great and everything is walkable. Lots of dining and shopping options. We stayed in a direct pool access room and would definitely recommend.

Housekeeping would only give about a quarter roll of toilet paper at a time. The bathroom has VERY dim lighting. Overall the bathroom is definitely aged and weathered. The climate control really only had two options for temp. Any setting at 20 Celsius (68 degrees F) or higher resulted in a stuffy and hot room around 78 degrees F. If we moved the thermostat dial just one degree to 19 Celsius, the room turned into a freezer. My guess is the room temp was then around 62-64 degrees F.

I run hot, so not a problem for me personally. Just a warning for those that like moderate or warmer temps. There wasn’t such a setting after fiddling with it for 5 days.

We wouldn’t avoid this place if we came again, but would probably consider other properties with pool access rooms first.

The VIP Area upgrade to an ocean view was very much worth it. The VIP area is set back from the street so it’s very quiet. The view from the balcony is golden. Get the breakfast option, very worth it. This is a nice hotel in a really good location

As a Flight Attendant with a quite of experience with Hotels I can say:
What a GREAT holiday experience.
-Amazing spacious room with alot of amenities,
-Large Balcony,
-Big Pool,
-Hotel is super clean,
-Breakfast buffet with a great choice of fresh tropical fruit an omelette stand and everyday was something different to try,
-Located in the main road and close to everything,
-Best and most important, STAFF is friendly and helpful always with a genuine smile.

My stay at Ava sea was last minute as I traveled around Thailand with no plans . Upon arrival they instructed me to book online as I would be able to get a deeper discount . 30 seconds after booking my room , they had it ready on their screen . Decided to upgrade my room for me as will . As for being a spontaneous traveller I booked one night at a time . Ended up staying in the upgraded room for 3 night booking each morning the cheaper room though Expedia . All the staff I encountered at the hotel were super friendly an helpful . Was a clean resort an good location . Room was very spacious to . Would highly recommend this to anyone looking to save a few dollars an willing for a short 5 minute walk to the beach .

This was my least favorite hotel from our Thailand trip. It did have a nice views of the ocean. The towels seemed old and shredding at the seams. There were stains on the sofa and mattress was uncomfortable. We felt that it needed to be turned or something as our backs hurt
They did not provide new glasses in the bathroom
We had arranged for a breakfast box as we were leaving early for an excursion, and they forgot to prepare it. They did allow us to eat earlier Than opening time but that was less than optimal as not all the food was out and we Had less than 10 minutes to chow down before pick up. Management Tried to make it up and gave us a fruit platter
The staff was nice though. The rooms were spacious.

The following day I asked to stay another night allowing me to book again online cheapest room and keeping my free upgrade . It’s a bit of walk to beach but very easy within 5 mins . It took them 1 and half days to fix but they did in the end.
Reading some of the reviews after it seams to happen a lot.

Staff was really helpful and friendly. My only issue was expedia, I stayed at this hotel last year and everything went smoothly. This tine it was different, I had a reservation for 3, turns out I still had to pay for an extra bed and breakfast was not included ( breakfast is usually included in all these hotels). Taking into consideration the extras U had to pay I could have stayed at a better hotel st a lower cost.

Booked this hotel again because of my previous stay with AVA Sea but had a few issues this time around. Problems with the wifi and water heating throughout but everything else was good.
I also had an issue with the airport shuttle where I had cancelled but the reservations team was not updated on this cancellation and I was made to pay half of it.

Staff is not efficient in their role except for house keeping. Multiple times no water in toilet and staff mentioned no engineer to repair pump. At night the water is always gone. Fire alarm triggered 1am with no staff to handle or inform situation. Flask is very dirty, every usage will have particles and water turn chalky even if water use from clean bottles.

The good thing is the wifi.thats all

Right in the main strip of Ao Nang (5min walk to beach) money xchnage/laundry/7-11 down stairs. Hotel is 2yrs old. Period of stay 17-22 Aug approx $80 AUD/night

Hotel has 2 buildings with a pool in the middle. Room 4306 - beach facing , very quite. Room 4503 facing opposing hotel blusotel.

Rooms are spacious (deluxe room) has private balcony but superior has a flower garden segregating the rooms. Beds are firm and air con strong.

Poolside rooms have trees blocking the view from the pool room entry(would not recommend)

No poolside bar, gym is in good condition- reception to turn on air con.

Breakfast is basic continental and Thai with egg station.

Had no hot water in our room and was fixed straight away.

Expect your typical service from this district.

Overall would stay again.

Pros: The hotel has great location. Staff is friendly and efficient. Rooms are good size and clean. Breakfast is average. Pool is nice.

Cons: Only one, and I think it is a big one. The safe in my room was not anchored. The safe itself is only about 10 lbs and anyone could just pick it up and take it away. I was uncomfortable to leave my passport and cash. I asked the front desk as to why the safe was not anchored like it is in all other 4 star hotels that I stayed at. She told me that all rooms have unanchored safes at their hotel. I would highly recommend that they remedy this. Other than that, this hotel is really quite good.

I spent over an hour on the phone speaking with 2 or 3 service department representatives to have our 9 nights stay at the paripas Patong resort credited to our account van-connie @ shaw.ca but with no satisfaction. Connie and I are very disappointed that this issue has not been resolved...this is 2019!!!!

I stayed here for 5 nights in February/ March 2019. Check in went very well with a very pleasant lady on reception. Good size room and cleaned daily. We did call reception as our toiletries were not filled up and they arrived swiftly, took the empty bottles and returned them filled up. Nice breakfast, great location in Ao Nang, short walk to the beach passing lots of restaurants, bars, clothes stalls etc. 2 bottles of water left in your room each day, no mini bar but you do get a good sized fridge to stock up on water and Thai beer if you fancy.

Unfortunately, disappointed with this hotel. It was not particularly clean (hair that did not belong to us on the floor after the room was cleaned), no hot or even warm water for 3 days and very poor wifi. We have been travelling in Thailand for several weeks and this was the most expensive and worst hotel of our travels. Expected more for the price.

The property was nice and clean, had a pretty pool with bar but no bartender. Transportation was an issue. After requesting a driver ahead of time, both ways. There was no one at the airport for us. I called the hotel & was told to take a taxi. 30 min later we had one, long queue. At the hotel the manager apologized & took care of the taxi for us. The day before we left, I tried to verify we would have a car to take us back to the airport. The girl gave us the price of B700. Ok fine, we'll do it. Next morning at check-out I ask her if we can leave our luggage with them until our car at 3pm. Yes, and they tagged our bags to hold. 3pm and no car! I ask why & she says I didn't ask for one. I ask for the mgr & explain this is the 3rd time I've requested a car. The girl LIES to her mgr, repeatedly, & says we never asked for a car!!! The mgr calls for a car & says it would be 20 min & he'll discount it to B500 for the inconvenience. We almost missed our flight because of this. Will NEVER recommend this place.

Great location for the hotel - lots of shops, restaurants, bars, and the beach is super close to the hotel.

The staff was very helpful and friendly.

Food at the breakfast buffet changed everyday and they had lots of different options. We were here on our honeymoon and paid extra for the pool access room which is so worth it with how hot it is in Thailand.

Amazing time and if we are ever in Thailand again we would stay here in a second!

Checkin was fine. Hotel staff did not appear to know what they were doing as we essentially had no WiFi in the room and they kept on forgetting to book us a taxi service for when we needed to leave. The shower would have an inconsistent temperature and would either be too hot or too cold. There were times that it even smelled of rotten eggs! This hotel was an okay distance from the beach for the cost. However, it did not leave a great taste and would most likely not stay again.

We appreciated our stay at this hotel. The room was clean, the location is perfect. However the music around the pool is too loud and does not give us the chance to talk or read in a quiet environment. The staff is nice but only a few of them speaks little english which makes things harder if you need information.

Nice, clean and new resort.

Overall it was quite good. Resort seems still new. Breakfast is decent and we were told that all meats were Halal in B’fast.
Overall service is good. Very conveniently located.

This hotel is very well located in the heart of Ao Nang. Very convenient for the water taxis and tours. It is fairly basic but clean and comfortable. The staff are very helpful. I wouldn’t plan to stay more than a few days in Ao Nang because it is such a tourist zoo, but it is a good choice for the time you are there.

Very clean and modern. We only spent one night here. Our room was beautiful with a great view. Our only complaint is that our room was facing the Main Street and there were motorbikes going by all night. It also sounded like construction was happening throughout the night. We are both sound sleepers and we could not sleep through the noise.
The hotel was great although we recommend getting a room that does not face the Main Street.
