The room we stayed in was 501, corner unit in the top floor. It was in very deplorable conditions, grime in the shower and every door had paint peeling. Marks on walls, the tv only had 7 channels. The air condition was not operating but fixed after a service call. It was a kid room with a bunk bed which the kids loved but may also explain why this unit was in such deplorable conditions. The staff was nice, and made the room daily, water is provided daily. The AC, although fixed was never as cold as other hotels we stayed at.

We met another couple on some tours, and they asked if our hotel room was in such poor state as ours, they didn’t have children, so I suspect most of the hotel needs a heavy cleaning and renovation.

The pool had a lot of moss/mold on the floor tiles. Towels were always available, the shuttle to the ao nang beach was on time but it’s a pickup truck style, where you sit on a bench in the bed.

The ao nang area is very lively, so it’s decently located for walking to restaurants, bars, salons. The night market is about a 25 min walk or 10 from the shuttle drop off. But the last shuttle is 6pm.

Breakfast buffet was included and very good, opened late until 1030.

Overall, the views of the cliffs was the best feature, we would not stay again nor would we recommend it to friends.

Great location with some nice family friendly rooms and an excellent pool area. We had a balcony looking onto the pool and cliffs and it was a great spot. Rooms were worn and cleaning was… spotty- but the location and pool made up for it. The shuttle to the beach was useful. I would not bother with the breakfast which looked so-so for the price compared to other options within a few minutes walk.

The place is an ageing, dirty dump. Everything feels old and well used....the check is procedure is confused, the swimming pool furniture is circa 1990 and the rooms are small with inadequate furniture (not even a table to put your laptop on). Go elsewhere.

Poor value for money overall. The property is in poor condition and clearly in need of better maintenance. The rooms are very small, with paper-thin walls and interior connecting doors, so you can hear everything happening in the neighboring room. Breakfast is low quality, with the same limited options every day. On the positive side, the location is decent—about a 10–15 minute walk to the beach—and the staff are friendly and welcoming, as is generally the case in Thailand.

We stayed here for one night. This is a very basic hotel with small clean rooms. The location is very good for the nightlife outside the hotel.
The staff were very friendly and courteous.
This is a budget hotel and you can expect a budget hotel.
All in all a good stay for the budget concious.

It’s located in a good central area for Ao Nang beach and buffet breakfast was good. Unfortunately our room’s ceiling looked like it had some mould and our room also wasn’t cleaned properly before our check in (had a half drunken hotel bottle of water on the bedside with no new water in fridge, had to ask reception for towels etc). Laundry was also going to cost over 1000 baht - used clean & glow laundry just down the road which was 200 baht and a good, quick service.

We stayed here for 3 nights and it was a good middle of the road hotel. The hotel aesthetics were what you expect from a chain hotel so if you are looking for something a bit more traditional or to feel like you’re not in a standard city break hotel then this isn’t the place for you. The pool area is nice with a free towel each day. The breakfast is good and the area is clean. The beach is around a 15 minute walk and you are on the Main Street in Ao Nang when you leave the hotel. The landmark night market is an 8 minute car journey away. Overall this stay provided us with what we needed for 3 nights in a busy area.

This place is old and is in need of a renovation. We found many cockroaches on premises running through the corridors. Very unclean and unhygienic. Location is good 5 mins to the beach. The breakfast is terrible , limited options and also just unhygienic. Would I stay here again. Absolutely not. You’ve be warned!

Ibis but not as you know it - really stylish, bright, airy and comfortable. Lovely pool area, pool table and breakfast was good. Rooms have a tiny balcony overlooking pool. Happy hour bogof cocktails and beers. Free shuttle bus to beach but you can also stroll there past the shops in 20 minutes. Room had a safe, air con, kettle and good sized bathroom. Really good location, great value for money.

The good stuff - comfy beds, very friendly and helpful staff, nice pool, free hourly shuttle to the beach (except 12noon and 7pm)

The stuff that could be improved - condition of bathrooms needs updating, housekeeping staff would miss cleaning our room and we had to ask several times for it to be done - they also would forget to replenish basic items like the tea and toilet roll, very noisy guests staying in the hotel that would be very inconsiderate around the pool (spitting in the drains by a couple of guests which was reported to staff) and around the breakfast buffet although I understand this is not down to the hotel, cocktails weren’t great and food on the menu was ok but pretty basic standard, we booked a twin room which was pretty small and could not have our suitcases open on the floor

I had booked, 1 Double Bed, 215-sq-foot (20-sq-meter) room, balcony with city views. But the room I was given was a corner room, had no balcony without any view. There were hardly a couple of dishes in Vegetarian and were very tasteless. The room was also stinking and the toilet wasn't cleaned properly. They took a security deposit of 1000Thb on arrival and forgot to return it during checkout and said Thankyou your checkout is done. When I reminded them that they haven't returned the deposit they said sorry and gave me a slip to sign and returned the money. The room size is slightly bigger than matchbox.

The grounds are well maintained and clean. The pool area is nice and daily happy hours are a good break in the after noon following a day of excursions. The rooms are very clean. We even watched the cleaning staff mopping the balconies. That was impressive. However the rooms are VERY small. Absolutely no place to put clothes away and there is a really weird small window with cheap, mostly broken blinds, covering it. Makes absolutely no sense as to why it’s there. It’s difficult for two people to move around comfortably without tripping over each other. There is really no personality to the rooms and the hallway reminds me of an old hospital or school.
The breakfast was just OK. Not very appetizing for a resort breakfast bar.
It is not convenient to the beach, although the shuttle runs once an hour. Considering there are many other places to stay in the same price range that offer better location and larger rooms I would look elsewhere if we ever come back to Krabi.

The worst exp. among my 2 weeks biz trip

Front staff is un-professional and bad service mind, he didn't know whether my booking was applicable for Tax invoice nor Accor member point. And he even declined my asking for help to drop a coffee glass even the bin was behind him.

In the room, overall it was clean, but the connecting door wasn't completely close (what if my belonging disappear ?), and the water was drained very slow during bathing.

In addition, in the morning, some staff drilled the wall beside my room which was very annoying

I really happy that I didn't paid for Accor Plus this year

Friendly and helpful staff, a good family hotel. It is a good location, the room was regularly serviced, clean towels and water provided every day.

Minor gripes were - limited breakfast menu, if you have a room at the front of the hotel you will be woken at 05:00 by wailing from the adjacent mosque. For some unknown reason at 16:30 everyday loud disco music is switched on by the main pool, quite bizarre. However it is a good value budget hotel.

We requested for a room facing the pool during the booking and although there were empty rooms available but it was not given to us. Room service has been poor as well as the receptionist hangs up the phone without trying to understand our request. Electricity restarted every 10 mins during middle of night. When arriving to Ibis Styles we were properly greeted with a smile and very friendly staff. Concierge was very friendly and helpful. The room was clean but my only complaint would be that it was very much smaller than what I am accustomed to. The pool area was very nice and there were many activities planned for the Songkram festival, which was on April 13. The breakfast buffet was good and a wide variety. The restaurants and markets are right outside of hotel and a short walk to the beach (or you can take the hotel shuttle).

The check in procedure must really be improve, it was a long wait despite my booking was made entirely online (fully paid and a month prior) and I arrived on the property a little over 4pm local time. Ample time to sort out room turn over for checking in new guest. However the location is great as it is up hill from the main commercial roads and plenty of Halal eateries just in front of the hotel.

The hotel is in good condition, Swimming pool area small but pleasant, staff friendly and helpful, however, size of the room was incredibly small, the so called wardrobe is the tiniest I ever seen. No place for your suitcases either. They know that, so, they made space underneath the bed for them. So you have to pull your suitcases in and out constantly. A nightmare

We've been in Ibis hotel in Europe and although they are austere they are a decent size. We were unpleasantly surprised in Krabi.

Clean modern room; albiet abit small (little storage) but you cant crumble for the price. It is cleaned daily and very modern with a decent shower. All the staff at the hotel go above and beyond. Bua and others in the resturant are especially friendly! Highly recommend the breakfast. My only complaints are you will get awaken by the mosque opposite the hotel early in the morning and there should be a few more sunbeds as people tend to reserve them with their towels so after breakfast you wont be able to get an empty one. Overall I'd recommend and would stay again if I were in the area

The pool was beautiful and large. It wasn’t necessarily the *cleanest*, but it was well used. The location is convenient for shopping and food. The shuttle to the beach was extremely convenient and appreciated.

We didn’t much appreciate that the sheets were stained; clean/washed, but stained. It would have been nice if our rooms were swept daily because there was a lot of sand accumulated from beach visits and it made the rooms feel grimy.

Incredible value for money and great location. Loads of eateries and street food vendors just outside the hotel. 7-11 is just 50 meters away. Hourly shuttle to the beach (5 minute journey). Breakfast is your standard hotel fare with little variation - pastry/bread station, fruit/cereal station, hot food station (noodles/rice/hotdog/ham) and an egg station where omelettes are cooked to order. Simple complimentary snacks (little bread sticks and banana chips, water and bael juice) available in hotel lobby. Two computers for free use which we found helpful in entertaining the kids with youtube while waiting for transport. We had dinner in the hotel restaurant on our first night and found that they took a long time to prepare our meal. But plenty of options just outside. There were Mosquitoes in the evenings, just like the rest of Thailand, but staff will always be on hand with repellant. Shower water pressure isn't that great and could be improved.

The hotel in general was OK. Breakfast was plentiful with a good choice.
Room was a good size for the time we spent there.
The shuttle service ran to the beach every hour apart from 12 & 7pm, odd but wasn't a big deal for us.
If you are not looking for much authenticity - this is the hotel for you.
The staff in general didn't seem like they wanted to be there, considering how Thai's are known for their warm smiles, it was hard to crack a smile on some faces!!
Be aware if you decide to leave your luggage there after check-out or even prior check-in, that it is stored away in the supposedly locked area! We left ours after receiving a ticket (to use to claim the bags are ours) to see it still sitting there on our return to collect the bags, 3 hours later! This is extremely disappointing and unacceptable. If you offer such a service please follow - your own guidelines! The person at the desk who arranged this and was there later was completely oblivious and couldn't care less! She did not apologise for the error and made some excuse that they were just taken out?? Why were they taken out when we hadn't yet come to collect them?? Doesn't make sense!?

Overall is great. Thank you the staff arrange our room to Mountain View room. The bed is super comfy. A little distance if you walk to the beach but it's still very convenient. 5 min walk to family mart, cheaper food compare to restaurant nearby the beach. Recommend Boat Noodle restaurant.

Ibis Styles Krabi

Excellent hotel with beautiful surroundings facilities were great. Near plenty of eating places and not too far to walk to beach with the benefit of free hotel transportation to and from beach. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast had a good choice something for everyone. Had a great stay here the only downside being size of room and storage for clothes. Great value place to stay.

Great stay

The location is especially great for Muslims travelers since there is a masjid in front however no loud noises or disturbances for non Muslims too. The pool view is beautiful with mountains and the breakfast spread is good. I would again stay in Ibis for their useful hourly shuttle and comfortable room.
