We stayed 4 nights and we loved it. It's a bit noisy at night because of the bars near the property, but once the balcony door is closed, the sound is minimized.

My stay was fine, but I was glad I was only staying for a night ahead of a transfer to Koh Lanta. The photographs here a slightly misleading as it makes the property appear to be more luxurious than it actually is. In truth, the hotel is quite tired, and the decor is basic. The staff were friendly, but not particularly helpful. Do not expect anyone to help you with your bags. This may sound spoiled, but there are other hotels in Thailand in the same price range where you DO feel warmly welcomed, and the staff go out of their ways to help in any ways they can. There is nothing *wrong* with this hotel, as such. It's just not particularly characterful and would be a disappointment if I'd booked to stay longer.

The hotel is fine, it’s clean, I just didn’t enjoy the area as I expected to be in a quiet area which was my mistake. If you are a Muslim, travelling by yourself or family, I would avoid this area as it feels like you’re in Magaluf, loads of people half naked and enjoying their night out

Breakfast ok. Good omelette station but no bacon etc but this was not an issue really. Good options close by.

Staff were brilliant and the whole hotel is just great really. Corridors are all tiled so there can be noise from other guests but it is great value and perfect position for everything and the lady arranged our transfer.

I would reccomend this hotel for many reasons.

Rented 3 rooms, mattress in one room was soaking wet, friend of mine got all wet when slept first night. House keeping wouldn't clean the room even we left sign for room service. We had to inform them every day to clean the room.

We were on floor 4 and had a mountain view... this is a must if you want a quiet room. The front facing/pool view rooms you hear the clubs and bars.
The hotel could do with abit of love... the corridors are alittle \"hospital\" looking and not particularly welcoming.
The room was good enough as a base for our trip.
Nothing fancy but we only paid £100 for 3 nights b&b. So good value for money.
The only downside for myself is the air-con. Although it worked, it was noisy and for some reason just in the doorway there was a flashing green light in the ceiling vent. This flashed ALL night. Im not a great sleeper and this didnt help.
Breakfast was plain but there was enough choice to find something.
The pool area was clean and tidy.
There was a small bar at the poolside but i didnt ever see someone serving.
The reception staff were polite on arrival but didnt seem to like us asking any questions after this.

Hotel is close to the beach and very convenient. Our room had a damp smell when we arrived, and the staff helped light a candle with perfume to help alleviate some of the odour. We had to keep the AC running 24/7 to reduce some of the humidity in the room, if the room had a dehumidifier it would have been more comfortable.

The location of this property to the shops, restaurants and beach was great! It was central to everything and only a walk away from most things. The staff were lovely and friendly as well from reception to the restaurant and cleaning staff.

What l didn’t like was the thumping noise of the surrounding bars and clubs every night until early morning and the pool / beach towels for guests to use were useless as towels as they were small, thin and old looking - these need to be updated to better ones. There was mould around the shower recess area that could have been cleaned properly and the bathroom a little old looking, same as the bathroom towels!
It was a nice stay but for the price point paid, I did expect a higher level of cleanliness and facilities (ie towels) from the hotel (not staff but other areas mentioned above).

Good location only short walk from beach and all the day trips. Bad location at night due to a very noisy but very small bar just outside the gate. Ask for mountain view room.

Good for price and location.

The hotel was clean and in a very good location for shops, restaurants and beach. The room was spacious and added bonus of bath & shower. The pool was nice, but not enough beds & they were quickly taken. The breakfast was ok for cost. On the negative side it was noisy every night from outside venues & noisy guests. The door was hard to close without a bang & the towels were not great quality. They were grey , thin and rough. The pool towels were stained and threadbare, but they did allow you to take to beach. We had a good stay and staff were very helpful. A good 3 star hotel. Thank you.

Helpful staff and nice hotel

Very nice hotel with big and clean rooms. problem that the sound from the clubs on the street kept us awake half the night :( they helped us switch room for the last night when there was an opening and that was great. Helpful and sweet staff, good breakfast and an overall nice stay. Really nice view of the mountain!
Minus on the “reservations” with towels around the kind of small pool area. If you wheren’t there to “reserve” a chair with your towel before 8 you didn’t get a chair until maybe afternoon..

Nice hotel. Clean and fairly modern with good pool area. Balcony a bit small and there is a fair bit of noise from the clubs if you are a light sleeper. Staff really friendly.

The Krabi Heritage Hotel was a great place to stay in Krabi. The room was clean and spacious and the view of the mountain and ocean was lovely. The staff were very friendly and went out of their way to help make our stay pleasant. The hotel itself is set back from the main street which is nice and it is a 5-10 minute walk to the beach. There is a lovely little French restaurant in the same road as the hotel and you are walking distance to multiple pharmacies restaurants dive shops. The concierge in the hotel lobby was so helpful to set up day trips to the Tiger temple, Emerald pool, and boat snorkeling tours. I would highly recommend the Hotel to anyone who wants to stay in Krabi Ao Nang.

The Lai Thai Luxury Condominiums is the redevelopment of the Lai Thai Resort which opened in 1996. Owned and operated by the Thai Treasures Co.

Ltd (1993), the resort was named “100 Resorts of Thailand-Places with a Heart” by travel writer Lily Yousry-Jouve. The original Lai Thai created a name for itself as the first boutique resort in Ao Nang, with an exotic black tile pool and family oriented service.

The new Lai Thai will carry on this personalized service and offer high end facilities to cater to the discerning traveler. The new swimming pool will incorporate a 25 meter lap pool for adults only, along with the main pool and children's pool and hot tub.

The pool will be tiled in imported multi-colored glass mosaic tiles creating a rainbow of colors to the eye.
