Loved this hotel. Right in the centre and close to everything. It really is a hidden oasis. The rooms are beautiful and the gardens are amazing. Breakfast was so good and so much choice and so fresh. Restaurant food excellent and was so reasonably priced as was the beer. Staff nice and helpful. Plenty of places to eat around the hotel. Hotel pool was great with plenty of loungers and a great bar for cold drinks. Would definitely recommend this hotel. If we were to visit Krabi again I would not hesitate to stay here.

Excellent. The resort was amazing. Gaia (the restaurant at the resort) had amazing food, especially the fish and lamb! The staff was very accommodating. We were unlucky and got a stomach-virus, and the staff was very helpful and kind. One of the staff members, Cream, was wonderful. Although, everyone was very nice. Would definitely stay at this resort again. The location was also very pleasant. Very highly recommended.

Fantastic hotel in the heart of Ao Nang, a total escape from a busy tourist town, we loved our stay here. Room was lovely, breakfast’s perfect, swimming pool area and bar excellent. Best of all were the staff, all so polite and helpful. The grounds of the hotel were really well cared for, all in all an excellent stay, thank you. Only issue for some people are the steps, there are a lot so mobility should be borne in mind when booking.

Lovely room, great location, friendly staff and one of the better breakfast buffets I’ve ever had.

We went to watch some TV during our stay and it didn’t work so we called the front desk who swapped it out with another TV within a few minutes. Very impressed.

Would recommend to anyone spending a few days in Ao Nang.

Brilliant Hotel

We loved our stay here. The staff are so friendly and the location of Pakasai is brilliant. We stayed in a chalet here which was great, it had fantastic amenities and was very clean. I would highly recommend the onsite resturant, the food here was amazing. One of the other benefits here was that they are very environmentally friendly, the whole hotel area is covered in vegetation and there are plaques which meantion about the environmental efforts they are carrying out. They even invited us to a mangrove planting event, which unfortunately we could not attend, but gutted we missed it. Should we come back to Krabi in the future, we will definitely be staying here.

We had a great stay at Pakasai resort. The breakfast was delicious!! The room was clean. We love the location near a 7 eleven and Kodham restaurant which was delicious and very cheap. My wife hated the thousand stairs but I think it’s great for loosing all the calories from the great food we ate.

Lovely hotel set in lovely gardens. Set on a hill so expect lots of steps. Nice large rooms. This hotel is a. Oasis in Krabi, very close to the main strip, but quiet. Breakfast is good. Evening menu a little expensive. Great pool and comfortable sunbeds.

We had an amazing time at the Pakasai resort : amazing breakfast with a lot of variety (one of the best we've had!), very helpful and smiling staff (special thanks to Lucho who was our morning delight :)), location was perfect (very central but just remote enough to be very quiet), and the site itself was amazing with all the trees and plants and wildlife!! So beautiful! 100% recommend!!!!

A lovely hotel, a bit old fashioned but clean and tidy. Lovely breakfast something for everyone. It is an eco hotel, had a visit from the dusky monkeys one afternoon and saw the water monitor in the pond in the garden. Would i visit again, you try stopping me as its a definite yes!!!!!

This hotel was perfect for our requirements, it was well located for the beaches, bars and restaurants. Staff were very friendly and couldnt do enough to help you.
The restaurant for breakfast was located overlooking a small pond, food was good and had a resonable selection for all taste.
Lovely pool with sufficient comfortable seating.
The grounds are beautiful and well kept, with a tropical feel to them (they are often visited by monkeys).
Our room was located to the rear of the resort, while the room was lovely it was quite high and took significant effort to reach (over 100 steps and steep ramps). Would highly recommend this hotel but if you have mobility issues or trouble with steps, make sure you contact the hotel for a room at low level.

The Pakasai resort was beautiful. It was in a great location. Just a short walk to Ao Nang and close to all the shops and restaurants. It had all the amenities that you could ask for and they even had room service. The only complaint was that there were no elevators. There were steps on steps on steps. Which was the case for many of the Hotels in Thailand. If you have orthopedic issues just ask for a room on the ground floor. You will love the resort.

The pool was great. Did not realize it was roof top before our trip.

Breakfast was amazing. Try to make your own orange juice it tastes amazing.
Our room was spacious and updated, just be aware we had to climb 70 stairs everyday to get to our building. It was very nice and quiet, but a hike to get to building 4. They call it eco-trekking.

Just outside the hotel are all restaurants and shopping you can imagine. Location is great and still quiet to sleep.

Stayed for 5 days at the resort, lovely hotel with very friendly staff. Great breakfast with plenty of choice. Lots of steps up to some rooms so be aware but the rooms are spacious and clean. I would definitely recommend 😀

The hotel surrounding is very peaceful and tranquil. The room clean and spacious (stayed in the honeymoon chalet). The staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good (halal👍👍)but not enough tables as after 9.00am some guests had no where to seat. Location wise very convenient...nicer end of Ao Nang beach...no rowdy bars...lots of restaurants and shops..beach is just close by.

A very nice hotel.
Friendly and helpful staff.
Breakfast was very good, big variety of fruits, pastries and dishes.
A saltwater pool and a small fitness room is also very nice.

But unfortunately we had little ants in our room. It was like a whole colony and they’re living in the walls. Couldn’t leave food open on the table. But on the fourth day they were almost gone so idk.
But if you are not afraid of small neighbours it’s all right. There is jungle around the hotel so prepare for insects.

So only 4/5 Stars, but all in one a very nice and eco friendly hotel.

Booked a three night stay at premier room.
Service staff was cordial and helpful my late arrival. Unfortunately the reception area was a makeshift due renovations.

On my last day of my stay, I ate BF at hotel cafe..

Unfortunately i had a bad bout of diarrhoea - suspected food poisoning.. Had to run off to a nearby pharmacy to ask for prescription.

Went back to room and requested for a slightly late checkout at 1pm, explaining to the reception that i needed rest.
And she reluctantly agreed for 1230pm

However at 1210pm, the bell boy knocked at the door but i refused to open.

Later at around 1220pm, I decided to asked
for help to carry luggage out for checkout.
While at the recep, i vomited and showered my displeasure at the inconsideration.

If not for this experience, it would have been a nice stay with all the shops, restaurants and nice beaches

A very peaceful hotel to stay in Krabi, and especially if you love nature (leaf monkeys are regularly seen in the trees on the resort) and the hotel takes particular care to be environmentally friendly, using reusable containers , lots of recycling and the like.
The honeymoon suits are nice, could use a bit more natural light in the room and are set high up the hill so be prepared for a bit of a hike to your room.
Comfortable, clean, and staff are very friendly and professional. Overall great and recommended.

The location was perfectly situated off the main road and in the center of things. The staff were welcoming and the breakfast was very good. My only complaint is that the air only works when you’re in the room. This becomes problematic when you are in this climate because it causes mold. Our hotel room smelled of mold and our swimsuits took longer to dry because of the humidity in the roof. For that reason, I cannot recommend this hotel

I took a \"primer suite\" and a \"primer room\", both options were bad since they were at the first building which either is close to the road that is noisy or viewing a back rood and a workshop which is not a nice view to look at.
1. the primer suite is on the ground flood on a back road that doesn't have any view whatsoever.
2. the primer room is also on the main building but its either close to the road or viewing the back road and the workshop.
I suggest getting other options from the rooms they have.
pillows aren't comfortable and the ACs are usually not working fine or too noisy.
breakfast is decent and the pool is nice, The hotel's location is good and the staff is helpful.

The room is perfect for couples. It promotes intimacy. The breakfast buffet is OK. Everything you need is in walking distance. There is a 711 across the street from the resort and a market that is a 3 minute walk away. The beach is an easy 10 minute walk away. Make sure to walk the beach at night to watch the free fire show. There is also another market about 4km away. If you have time, the complimentary bike can easily get you there.

Overall a pretty good place to stay in Ao Nang Areas. For us Malaysian, one of their staff can even communicate in Bahasa Malaysia and really impressed me.

Location wise Pakasai Resort get a big thumbs up due to the convenience location walking to Night Market next to the resort and most importantly, 7-11 just opposite of the resort's lobby.

I'd stay here for 9 nights.

The location, reception and restaurant staffs, foods and environment are good!!
There're lots of greens. If you're okay to stay with lots of animals, insects and lizards, you can enjoy this hotel with great nature.

However, the housekeeping is the worst I've ever experienced. At first she didn't provide us new towels and just hang the old one. Therefore we gave her 100THB of tip everyday. From next day she changed towels everyday. However, She didn't change bed sheets and pillow covers till we asked. It was just once in 10days. She did clean the toilet and bathroom once as well.
If you expect cleanness for the hotel, I can't recommend you to stay with them

Beautiful surroundings, nice, spacious rooms. Our room was at the top of the property up many many stairs. We are a young, fit couple but even we struggled getting up there every time. Despite that though, sometimes we would see the monkeys playing in the trees above our room. Service was great, pool was great. Breakfast had a good variety, but it was pretty similar each day. My wifi wouldn't work properly which made receiving confirmation for activities difficult, but my partner's worked fine. All in all, really enjoyed our stay.

Stayed in a garden view villa. Room is huge and balcony is huge and fairly private. Booked one night and ended up booking a second night. AC works well. Bed is super comfy. Towels at the pool are the best I’ve ever seen. Lots of free water. Very sound proof walls. Farther from the beach than I thought, but close to beach equals close to noise. Gardens are pretty. Quite a few steps to get to some of the rooms. Breakfast was decent - not the same level of cleanliness as in Canada, but pretty darn good for Thailand. Overall good and worth it.

We booked this hotel based on the description of the room “garden view, 1st or 2nd floor”.
We were put in the back alley on the ground floor, staring at a wall.
We asked to move room but we were still given a room at the back, starring onto a car park with big containers.
Baby cot was old and dirty when we got it, hotel is old and with cracks in the walls that let aunts through. The photos aren’t the reality.
We even found old blood stains on our sheets.
Staff was obviously exasperated by our request.
The garden in the centre was gorgeous and it is very well placed. Rooms are a good size and the breakfast is nice.

The staff speaks great English and provided very efficient service for any needs we had. The restaurant onsite was delicious and had good options available. The room was very spacious and had a nice porch for relaxing. The only negative with the room is the platform the bed is on, it is very inconvenient to get in and out of the bed. I was very afraid of hurting myself.
Also, it is very easy to walk to lots of dining options and the beaches from this hotel. The hotel is nicely tucked away though, so it is quiet at night, good for sleeping.

Everything about this place is amazing. The eco friendly vibe and the space in the room.
I am not one to bring things up. But we did ask for twin beds and we got the king which we didn’t want. And the air con was not so amazing!!
The room hardly cooled down. I didn’t make a big fuss because we assumed it was because it was an eco friendly resort and they don’t use a lot of energy. The bathroom shower/shampoo gel was amazing. And the stay was cozy !

This is a very nice plave to stay. The grounds/amenities (wonderful eco-friendly foliage, swimming pool, dining, even a traditional dance performance) are great.

The only thing that was unusual was a tour they booked for us. There was a problem with it, and they happily worked with the tour company to remedy it. (To reiterate: the tour had problems, but that in no way reflected on the hotel; in fact, they were eager to resolve it.)

We would definitely stay here again!

A really nice hotel with good facilities and excellent staff. The only problem was that we were upgraded to a sea view chalet, and my poor arthritic knees struggled to cope with the steep steps leading to it. I would have been better off with a lower standard chalet. That said, I enjoyed watching the occasional appearance of wild monkeys in the trees from my balcony which would not have been possible lower down.
All in all, an excellent hotel with great amenities and food in a good location. I would definitely stay again.

Our family of 5 ( including 3 teenagers) had a lovely 8 day stay at the Pakasai Hotel over the Christmas holiday.We found almost everything in the hotel to be really good rooms staff ,location and service.
We did have a few simple things though that the hotel could easily improve .Firstly the beds are very hard ! However ,when I complained the staff immediately put an extra mattress protector on the bed which helped a bit ....ans secondly while the breakfast buffet is good ,the layout is a bit strange .We had to wander around each morning looking for plates ,sauces etc. A bit of thought and better planning would easily sort this out.
Having said that,we really enjoyed our stay and would be happy to return.

We loved the jungle feel of the Resort. Our room was high up which gave us a nice view and at the same time some peace and tranquillity from the busy Ao Nang Main Street. 10 min walk to beach. Lovely breakfast, good vegetarian selection. Also we loves the pool area.

We enjoyed our stay there overall. We booked the honeymoon suite for a very affordable price. A few things to take notice is the room is at the top of the hill. Hence, a bit of stair climbing needed. And the room is mainly surrounded by trees and other rooms so not much sunlight in the morning. The upside is you get a quiet room. I'm satisfied with the morning buffet overall. The staffs are friendly and helpful. The location is perfect as everything is nearby.

* Big Spacious rooms with a day bed, can be used by a child.
* Good location, just off the main road. 10 min walk to both beaches.
* Ao Nang's main street and restaurants are easily accessible.
* Green, eco-friendly resort

Not-so-good:
* No tea/coffee in room. They provided 1 pair of green-tea sachets (no sugar/whiteners). Even this was not refreshed on a daily basis. For the price that one pays, at least a coffee sachet was expected.
* Bathroom sliding doors were not closed completely, leaving a 4-inch gap
* Breakfast is repetitive. Not many Asian/Thai/Indian options.
* Our bathroom tub stopper was broken. We complained about this on the day of check-in, and yet, it wasn't addressed even after 3 days.
* Wi-fi is quite flaky.

Room upgrade was welcome but discovered we had wild life living in the space between our ceiling and the floor above, slightly annoying when woken up by the critters but I got used to it, complaints didn't go anywhere so we just lived with it for the duration. Overall I would probably stay again but there are many other choices in this area so I would probably go somewhere else next time.

WiFi in room was spotty but that was ok we didn’t spend too much time in the room. Pool was nice and clean. All in all, only complaint was the bed and the location of the room was a little odd as it was near the back gate that leads to the street but after getting used to it, there was no security concerns. Great resort and great room!

Pakasai is great

The room is clean and comfy. The service is great. The room with a jacuzzi is a plus. After a day on the beach it is very relaxing. It's nice and quiet in Pakasai while the beach (in 5 min) and the busy shopping road (in 2 min) are very close by. We recommend the food at Pakasai restaurant, it's very tasty and delicious. The amuse appetizer is heavenly.

What we liked, property is beautiful with good amount of vegetation around focusing on more greener initiative with rooms having ample space

While i didn't like is
Things to use in the room were not properly maintained for an example, toilet as unit had problem, iron board was not proper
Toilettaries were not replenished until we call them and ask which is quite annoying
Some of the policies were confusing and not told upfront for an example, for doign check out it took them almost 30mins which we had to suffer since we were getting late for our flight and plus the argument over the deposit which they didn't gave us the receipt and later they claim if you don't have receipt we will not return your deposit which pissed us off

When we arrived the AC wasn’t working. On our way out to the beach, we let one of the staff O know, he had it taken care of by the time we got back, and we had no more issues with it during our entire stay.

Staff is very friendly here.

Breakfast is pretty good.

Super nice pool. We were able to lounge at the pool after our check out at 12pm (our flight was at night time.) There are changing rooms and showers at the pool so we were able to get ready. Front desk also held our luggage until we were ready to leave, major plus!

Do not opt for Challet Rooms, they have a connecting door between adjacent room and which can get easily open by other side. Also rooms are pathetic in sound proof, you can hear what other guest are talking and very disturbing. Dont recommend this hotel anymore.

Comfort, eco-friendly, happy hour drinks, great assortment of breakfast item at the buffet (I am a coeliac and although not specifically catered for, there were plenty of items naturally gluten-free I could choose from), free food tastings each afternoon, cultural dances while having dinner, free eco-trekking tour, prompt response to all requests (extra towels, conformation to an external taxi company).

The whole stay was exceptional.

Spacious and eco-friendly rooms. Very good service staff at the hotel. Check in was smooth, luggages were sent to our rooms (steep climb up to the room), breakfast spread was decent.

Great location, clean, quiet and comfortable!

Great location, right off the main Street, which keeps the noise level down. Actually the resort was very quiet. The staff is so nice and helpful. The hotel restaurant is really good as well. I would pay for the breakfast to be included. The room is clean and nicely furnished. Would definitely recommend. They also have the boat tour option (which is a must to Phi Phi island then another one we took was to Hong Island). You can book the night before, pay right away or have it charged to your card at checkout.

The location of the room is awesome. Right outside of the resort you can see 711 and many restaurants. There is also a small shop to book taxi and day tour. The resort staff speak good English and are super courteous. The room is so clean and well maintained.
I was given an upgrade to premium suit, it was so amazing.
The most important thing I love about the place is, the place is so environmental friendly. The are recycling bin every where and the material the resort use are also from recycling materials. This is my 3rd time staying in this resort and I am planning to go back again next year.

Ok with the room, except for the rain shower is not working properly. Signed up for an hour massage service, but the in charge was late for half an hour, no one at the SPA center till i called the hotel reception. I have a huge expectation for the massage services as we paid triple of the street price, end up with disappointment.

If you like hiking, this is best place for you. As to reach your room, if you have opted ocean chalet, you will have to climb up more than 200-300 stairs, no lifts!

Had an amazing and relaxing stay at Pakasai with my wife and my 7 month old baby. The premier room was spacious, clean and had a great interior. The staffs were so helpful and welcoming to all our needs. The breakfast was good with lots of choices.

Beautiful hotel that is at one with Nature

Extremely good hotel with good amenities. The staff are extremely friendly and very helpful. There was a staff in particular. Her name is 'Ya' and her attended to us with great care. I will definiely recommend this place for families who love a resort styled ambience.

Location wise, this place is at the crossroads between Ao Nang and Nopratara beach, which makes it an excellent location.

The weather rained off and on for the stay; however, there we still went out each day on trips. The hotel did offer activities and we would have done these if we were staying longer at the hotel. The staff were very friendly and helpful.
