The AC points straight to the bed which may be rough for those with sinus issues. The pool needs some work but the water was clean. The breakfast was good but never saw any bacon.

The staff were so attentive and kind. The location is also fab, but be aware you can hear the throbbing bass from the strip in your room all night.
We regret paying for breakfast, as it was not a great selection. Especially for the price. Would love a noodle station or more flavorful Thai options. Everything we tried was bland.
That said, this was our second stay here, so it is a lovely hotel, just not a perfect stay.

Had a really nice stay at The L. We have a ground floor room with pool view. The room had a table and chairs outside which is quite good to relax, alongside a rack to hang clothes/towels. The room itself was quite spacious, comfortable bed, complimentary coffee and tea, kettle/espresso machine, hair dryer, iron, and the usual body lotion/toothbrush etc. Air conditioning keeps the room very cool and it's adjustable. The staff was lovely and very professional. Location is great, right in front of the beach and by where you take the boats to places like Relay Beach, loads of shops/bars/restaurants near by. Definitely a place to come back to if ever in Ao Nang. Shout out to the cleaning staff for folding the towels in animal shapes everyday, it was always exciting to see what we would get :)

Overall, very good beachfront hotel in Ao Nang.
Many bars and restaurants on your doorstep but can hear music booming out until 2am some nights from nearby venues.
Staff pleasant and helpful but they need to be advised it does not take 2 hours to get to airport!(only 40/50 mins by taxi).
Yeah, would probably stay here again!

Great place to stop for a night or two in Krabbi right in the heart of this throbbing town. The beach is directly opposite which is great and boat are easily accessed to get to some of the more impressive beaches like Raleigh, a 20 minute longtail boats ride away which we loved. The hotel is quite simple in its furnishing, but the pool is great. If you want something in the centre of it all it is perfect!

Greeted by the most welcoming staff on arrival with ice cold refreshments,the reception staff go above & beyond . Hotel is immaculate with two swimming pools in beautiful surroundings. Location is excellent right on the beach front with restaurants,shops & boat tours across the road. Rooms are very large with everything you need & the shower is the best ever. Breakfast is served at Wannas Place next door again staff so attentive & great choice of food. We ate here most of our stay as food was delicious & portion size was generous & great price is too.
We look forward to returning on our next visit to Ao Nang

When booking the L Resort in Krabi, I did not understand that this area was basically a strip of hotels, restaurants, bars, and shops. While The L was in the middle of it all and provided connivence, it still was quiet in the courtyard where the centralized swimming pools were. Our rooms provided us a calm, spacious environment. The sheets were white and crisp, shower head strong with nice temperature for water and very clean. Nicely decorated in white with accents of purple so not overpowering. Breakfast for us was included. Coffee and tea, fresh fruit, sweets and other dishes were delicious. We only ate breakfast at the hotel so we could investigate our surroundings for flavors of the area. Staff were friendly and always helpful. There was an occasional odor by the pool you could enter gradually which was our only concern so we could sit by the other pool as an option. Other than the odor, the area was always clean. We saw the staff clean the pool in the morning so The L took cleanliness very seriously. While they were forthcoming that we could not have a late checkout they did provide a room with shower at no cost for a limited amount of time which was appreciated. We would recommend The L Resort. If we could have added anything it would have been a bar at which to hang out and enjoy the view as directly across the street was the strand (walkway), beach and water. You could have drinks in the restaurant from what I understand but we did not personally investigate this.

Right on the seafront, although our room didn't have a sea view. Very convenient for the long tail boats, opposite and nightlife. Lovely restaurant and the pool area was great too. Staff were very friendly and helpful and it was a great place to stay.

Nice size room, with balcony overlooking the pool area, very nice shower and toilet. The large bed was a little firm for me, but not my partner.
Air conditioning, mini fridge and tea making facilities all very good.
Although it didn't affect us too much, there are bars very close that have music playing loudly until very early in the morning.

We loved our stay here!

Upon arriving, we had a wonderful greeting from Nan - she immediately made us feel.welcome, and even walked us to the room to go over all the amenities of the hotel, and make sure we had everything we needed for our stay.

Hotel was super clean, and well organized.

Wanna's Restaurant offers a great Breakfast option that we took advantage of each morning - pretty much everything you could think of - not to mention the food is fresh & very good.

The Pool area was a nice surprise - two beautiful pools, which are kept spotless, and super comfortable to just lounge around.

Last, but not least - the staff here is amazing. They all go out of their way to make you feel welcome, and each does their job so well.

Ive visited a lot of Hotels over the years, and The L was definitely a breath of fresh air!

It was a nice stay here. Location is perfect; right across from Ao Nang beach and lots of shopping and restaurants within easy reach. Really appreciated their airport service (600 baht one way) and the breakfast buffet. The hotel seems to cater more towards families and older folks who are not looking to party so it was perfect for us. My only big complaint was that the mattress was reallyyyy stiff, probably the hardest mattress I've ever sat or slept on; My hip and back was sore the next day. Other than that, nice stay in Krabi!

Staff at the L Resort was extremely accommodating and went out of their way to make things good. Running water however was sporadic and was not available to flush toilets and shower on demand. There were times we had to go to another room to shower or wait for an hour to flush the toilet. I know this is beyond the staff's control and they did their best to provide options. Location is on a main road - should you desire peace and quiet then this is not the place for you.

Only thing is this new bar that is close by that stays open late with a LGBT show that is too loud every night of the week. If you have AC fan on high it will help cover the loud bace from the music. Everything else is 5 star. This show should move to another part of town

Great location! But unfortunately the location is a gift and a curse. You can hear the music from the bars and restaurants near by until 3 o’clock in the morning. Room’s floors and bed had sand in them upon arrival. The staff were friendly but not too helpful and only directed you to the vendors on the street offering tours etc. Staff were also stingy with towels for bathing. Hotel seems older and a bit run down. Not what you expect from a 4 star hotel. Wouldn’t recommend staying here. Next time we will go 5 stars and a few minutes away from the main strip.

Disclaimer: I am pretty sure I was their only guest during my entire stay at the hotel. This is because covid has decimated the travel/tourism industry in Thailand right now.

I really enjoyed my stay here. The hotel has two separate pools, which were open and available to use. I only used one and it was quite nice. I did see the staff conducting inspections of both hotels to make sure no proactive repairs were needed. (Nice to see a hotel putting that much care into their property) There is a bar area next to the pools that I did not use as it appeared closed. (Again, I was their only guest and I didn't ask about it either) The attached restaurant seemed well kept when I walked through it, but I never ate there. It serves Thai and European food.

The room was nicely equipped and very clean. The AC worked well. It came with a large balcony that included two chairs, a table, and a clothes drying rack. The bathroom and shower were large and clean as well.

The hotel is located directly across the street from Ao Nang Beach. I don't think you can beat that location really. There is parking available in front of the hotel and the staff also helped me rent a motorbike and find out information for buying bus tickets to my next destination. Overall, very friendly and helpful staff.

I'll likely look to book here again when I come to Krabi again.

I was charged by Expedia for two large Seaview rooms next to each other for my family.They gave two garden view rooms at two different blocks.The rates for garden view is $50 less per day.Thus I paid additional $300 for 2 rooms for 3 nites extra to Expedia.The hotel cannot refund my extra payment for the rooms as my rooms were booked thru expedia.I now want to know how Expedia intend to refund my extra payment.Breakfast was limited.location and rooms were clean and spacious.Staff at the restaurant, housekeeping were pleasant and helpful.

The L resort has the best location of all hotels in Ao Nang, right by the beach (where all the long tail excursion boats moor) and in the middle of the town centre. The hotel itself is well kept and is nice and tidy. The hotel staff is very friendly and helpful, and the breakfast buffet has plenty of choices (including a good assortment of fresh, tropical fruits and an egg dish bar with a chef). The pool area is not big and lacks beach view but is nice for a shorter bathing session. Our double room was fairly large and had a balcony. Everything was quite alright. In the night there was some noise from a nearby disco, but not more than tolerable. The hotel is not a luxury resort but quite a nice place for a few days visit.

When we first arrived we were given a room in the way back that was near something giving a loud “ring” noise. Exceptionally loud. You could hear it in the room. After telling the staff about it they reluctantly gave us a new room on the other side of the building from the loud noise. You could still hear it but it was tolerable. Our coffee water heater machine wouldn’t stay on and when trying to get a new one of those the staff also reluctantly replaced it.

This hotel is right on the beach, close to really great restaurants and shops. It’s very clean and posh and the cleaners pay attention to detail. I had a great time staying here. Free coffee, robe and a large buffet breakfast every morning was included. It was very nice sipping expresso on the balcony overlooking the pool every morning. I will definitely stay here again.

we were pleasantly surprised with an upgrade on arrival so had a nice view of the pools and the sunset. We were impressed with the pools, all with nice extra features like a waterfall. Each pool had shady parts to them. The hotel is basically right on the seaside street but once inside it was not noisy, just the last night we could hear the base beat from a bar down the street. The shopping is great and lots of varieties of restaurants and bars. The staff were friendly and helpful.

Air con problems. Extremely loud night club right next door with blaring music every night until 1am. Breakfast not great. Skip it. Only thing how was the fresh made eggs and the coffee. Everything else was room temp, not hot or cold as it should have been. Very little hot water in the bathroom, sometimes none. Nice people, good service, and a pretty recent update were good. However, not a 4.5 star hotel at all. I’d give it 3 maybe 3.5. I’ve stayed thousands of nights in hotels and this is an honest review.

Check in was quick and we were greeted with a cold towel and cold tea. The room was spacious but the cleanliness was okay. We felt the room was not cleaned prior to our visit or the room did not have someone stay in it for awhile before our arrival. The next day we definitely felt a difference once housekeeping finished. The first day we noticed ants randomly throughout the room and bathroom and we informed the staff along with bedding that had dirt on it. Nothing was done, so the first night was a little uneasy. The second night was a lot better as we noticed clean bedding, however, we woke up to a trail of ants on the wall. We called again, and finally someone came with a broom and some bug spray. We were surprised they didn't change our room, rather just sprayed the room. Outside of that, the service was good as they called restaurants for us to see reservation times. They even allowed us to leave our checked bags in this manager's office as we spent 3 nights island hopping. The breakfast was really good. The room did have a safe and WiFi. We did have hot water but it was difficult to control as it switched from scalding hot to ice cold randomly.

We enjoyed this stay from beginning to end. The staff was engaging and helpful, registration was smooth, help was offered appropriately, the upgraded room was very nice. We liked the location across the street from the beach and walk. Breakfast was more than adequate and coffee was excellent. We used the exercise room and found it better than the usual small hotel facility. If we are in Ao Nang again, we would stay here.

Excellent hotel with very good service. Very good location once is close to Long Tail boat pick up point and ticket. Breakfast is fair enough, nothing special. Very clean.

Everything about this hotel is very good, apart from the very disappointing breakfast, the choice of hot food was very limited, one rice, one noodle and two vegetable, I've had a bigger and better choice at a lesser star hotel,
