Great stay at a well located and comfortable hotel. Unusual, and interesting layout, with the swimming pool meandering like a river between the buildings. Breakfast was good, although it did get busy at times, making it difficult to find a table. Great restaurants and shops within walking distance. An amazing Thai massage place too. The only thing I noticed was that some guests were receiving gifts and drinks on arrival, but we didn’t. Otherwise, the staff were pleasant and helpful. Would recommend it others.

The staff were really friendly and helpful. They did the best they can to provide quality service during my one week stay.

Thw A.C in my room stopped working 2 days before my check out. Albeit, I didn't inform the desk so that's completely fine. But the A.C wasn't really easy to operate. It often would take 15 to 30 minutes to start blasting.

The building was clean where most important, but there were lots of mysterious stains on the bed head. The bathroom didn't look as clean as I hoped for.

The location is whee I think I should've done more research or better thinking. The hotel is located at the dead end of two sided streets full of Indian restaurants and stores where wouldn't let me walk in peace in and out of the hotel.

It was about 15 minute walk to the Ao Nang beach. Not a bad walk, but I gradually was getting more tired and wanted to order a grab, but it was too close for them that I often had no luck of finding a ride.

Other than that, it was a decent place for the price.

There were too many mosquitoes on the property. In the room, balcony, poolside, lobby, just everywhere and birds at the breakfast area.
Mosquitoes were very unpleasant as didn't want to go to the pool except once, and had to have the mosquito burner all day/night in the room.

Three hotel is nice. Three staff is great and very helpful. We had a room with access to the pool and it was great. The location was great. However, Krabi is not a destination i would ever go back to. It's boring and the island are nothing to brag about. Thailand has the noisy beautiful beaches and island but you would not find them in Krabi.

It was my birthday during my stay with Deevana Plaza. Every year, I will have a getaway birthday holiday with my family. And this is my 1st time the hotel send me a birthday cake, with the birthday song too! The uniqueness is their staff. They are extremely friendly and helpful (even with limited English vocab). They will greet you everytime you get pass through them. They made our process from booking, checking in and checking out smooth and easy. They help us a lot during the stay and we get the late check out for free!

Decent location, just beside Ao Nang Night Market and pretty near to Ao Nang Beach. The service was very good and the staff tried their best to help us with whatever questions or requests we have. However, we think in terms of cleanliness it could have been improved. There were stains on our blanket and pillow case which we got them changed. We also encountered stains (grey / pinkish red) on our towels and we had to request a change of them a few times. That being said the staff was very patient with us and responded to our requests very quickly.

The condition of the rooms could be better. There were lots of mould in the bathroom around the tiles and underneath around the rim of the sink. A few of the bathroom amenities were not replaced and the cleaning here could be better. The bathrooms with the shower over the bath are not designed properly so water leaks onto the floor!
The rooms are the smallest I have stayed at in Thailand but have comp water and tea facilities replaced every day and the bed was comfy.
The staff at breakfast were nice as well as the bell boy guys. I was very disappointed with the lady who processed my check out. She was more concerned about whether anything was missing or used in the minibar. Once she had checked, I was free to go. There was no thanks for staying with us or have a safe flight....nothing! Overall, I was disappointed with my stay and will not be staying here again.

Very nice hotel. Good sized room, comfortable bed. Good bathroom. Limited hanging space and storage. Only 2 very small drawers.

Breakfast was good. Special mention for the coffee machine which was excellent! It was the cause of a few queues, but it was well worth it.

Very popular with couples with infants which I hadn't expected.

I received an upgraded room and the hotel kindly allowed a late check out on my final day so very pleased with that.

Overall, a good quality hotel with excellent staff at a reasonable price. It is located a little way from the busy central area, but that was a plus point for me.

Nice atmosphere and easy to access from Ao Nang Beach.
But hotel cleanup is necessary to improve. Room is cleaned up everyday but ammenities and towels are not fully complimented. Also you should bring your mosquito control goods for pool, otherwise you can not be relaxed.
The receptionists are super nice and they have adequate manner.
If you would love to stay with your child, this hotel is good option. If you would like to stay as honeymoon, maybe it is busier than expected.

Hotel was nice with good facilities and helpful staffs. A bit away but walkable distance from the nearest beach, and hence not noisy with the vehicles. Room was clean and room service was prompt. Has an excellent Orientala spa inside but need to pay extra. Swimming pools were clean and a good relaxing place. If you are not interested to eat at hotel then lot of interesting restaurants around along with some shops for clothing and souvenirs. Overall, had a nice experience staying there with my fiance.

1-cleaning- in the first day there were stains of toothpaste on the shelf. It stays till the checkout...
2-the drainage of the shower was blocked. I complained and they sent a lady to fix it. after a while she said that it’s ok. it was not ok, and I complained again. It was fixed.
3-during the checkin I requested to give the credit card as a deposit of 3000 baht , in case of taking something from the minibar or if any item will be missing. when I checked out , they checked the room and say that everything is fine. I asked to cancle the deposit, but the answer was that it will take about 2 weeks.it the first time that I face such action!
4-the team in the restaurant does not remove the empty dishes till i asked to.
5-the team in the reception were professional and friendly!

We were greeted by staff of the hotel as soon as we arrived and were offered nice cool drink while we checked in. The receptionist was welcoming and helpful, and he took us around the place to show us where the restaurant and facilities were before showing us to our room.
The room was clean, spacious and comfortable.
The hotel itself was very conveniently located about 5-10 minutes walk to both Ao Nang beach and Noppharat Thara beach.
The breakfast was good and has good variety
We enjoyed the pool. It was a good place to relax and cool off at the end of our day.

Very good service and attentive staff. Nice place to stay, with shuttle bus to Aonang beach and pier. Room is comfortable and clean.

Areas to improve: breakfast can be better.
Furniture in the room is s bit dated.

Overall it is a good hotel that's worth the stay. Will come back again when returning to Krabi.

Initially, a different room was allotted to the one I had booked and the staff said they could only change the room the next day as they didn't have one available. The room had 2 lizards. When a different room was allotted the next day, the toilet of the new room smelled really bad. The location is also a bit far from the centre and the beach.

We stayed for 15 nights at this hotel and it is not a hotel that caters for the traditional 2 week type holiday. There's no activities, no evening entertainment, just a pool and sun loungers.
We were the exception to most guests as people seem to stay for a few days at most. This is probably the right amount of time for this hotel.
The hotel is located at the end of a dead end road about 1500 meters off the main road so you will find yourself up and down the same street back and forward to the hotel or using the taxi's a fair bit. It is located at the wrong end of Krabi town really as most of the better bars, restaurants are a 15/20 min walk away.
Overall the hotel is ok, you won't have a holiday from hell experience staying there. But there are also far better hotels than this one.
The pool and grounds weren't cleaned or maintained much while we were there and areas such as the pool are starting to look dated and in need of tlc.
The room had areas of mould growing above the bath and shower and bits of grubby areas of woodwork and walls. There was not much storage for two weeks worth of holiday clothes either.
There is a fridge and mini bar in the room which were the usual expensive hotel prices for a can of beer or packet of nuts. Two complimentary bottles of water per day are however provided in the room.
At the time of our stay at the hotel, breakfast was included in the price which was ok buffet style food. Overall 5/10 average hotel.

The hotel is situated is a very desirable location. Theres plenty of street food stalls and restaurants to choose from. In addition, the hotel is within walking distance to the beach. Furthermore, it takes a short 5-15 min walk to and fro the shopping streets.

The room was lovely and clean, the staff were wonderful and helpful though lack of English with a few was fun trying to explain what you require, but that's a challenge in any foreign country. Food was great and in dining was quick.
Great place to stay with children as it is far enough away to be peaceful at night tho only a 5 minute tuk tuk ride to the main drag.
All in all a great experience

Flawed and tired hotel that slowly grew on me

Guest Ratings for this hotel are way out of whack with reality.

The good:
The pool was fun.
Restaurant/room service was pretty good. (better quality than the tourist restaurants on the street outside).
Lobby looks nice.
Staff are genuinely friendly for the most part.

The bad:
Tired hotel in desperate need of a major renovation.
Shower water not hot enough with subpar pressure.
Shower/bath combo that was non height adjustable, awkward to stand in and put water all over the bathroom every time it was used.
Tatty bathroom towels.
Poor sound insulation between rooms.
Black mould stain on the ceiling
Noisy AC
Room was a comically long distance from the front desk (Building 4)
Breakfast is varied for choices but most of it isn't actually very good.

It's worth noting that I didn't hate my stay here and we did get 6 nights for a semi reasonable price, but I was certainly disappointed given the solid reviews.

This is a flawed and tired hotel and there's something odd about all the gushing reviews. Lower your expectations if you intend to book here.

We stayed for Christmas and New Year, the hotel is a nice hotel and good location for the chaos of Ao Nang!

The staff are lovely and very polite, the rooms are cleaned daily and quite often you get the chance to change towels again in the evening.

The rooms are supplied with robes, slippers and flip flops. They also supply beach towels.

I personally found the hotel quite noisy due to the high numbers of families staying, I usually stay in adult only hotels and it came as a bit of a shock!

We had a room with the terrace that leads straight out into the swimming pool, the pool isn't great for swimming as it's long and thin and not very wide!

The food is tasty with lots of choice and not over priced. The bars at the hotel offer \"happy hour\" each day.

Stayed 4 nights from 7 to 11 Dec 2016, daily breakfast has a rotation of hot dishes so it's nice to look forward to something new everyday. Rooms are new and clean, comfortable swimming pools with little chlorine unfortunately Jacuzzi pool didn't seem to work when we're there. Very friendly staff and no problem conversing in English. Location is not on main road so it's quiet at night. Convenience stores, restaurants, massage parlours are aplenty just outside the hotel. Spa facilities and services in the hotel are exemplary, privacy is well respected and environment is very clean and comfortable.

This is a great hotel in a good location. Minor complaints were the breakfast isn't very suited to western tastes, the pool isn't great (but who goes to Thailand for a pool) and the shower was poor. Have been stayed there with 3 small children to celebrate our 13th wedding anniversary. Hotel location is near to local Muslim food area. Eventhough location is a bit far from Aonang shopping stalls area, but we enjoyed the scenery along the way.

We are looking forward to stay at this hotel again and would recommend our friends and relatives to experience the same.

Comfortable and convenient hotel!

The rooms are nice and clean and the staff is very friendly and helpful. The location is just a short walk from the main touristy area of Ao Nang, but you can just stay on the same street and get all that you need (massages, food, groceries, book tours, etc). We had a very comfortable time at Deevana, just wish there were more pillows! Only had 2 per bed and it wasn't high enough for the two of us. Loved the bar and the happy hour. The fitness room was also clean and sufficient. We didn't get a chance to use the pools, they seemed rather small. But you're so close to water activities, there really is no need to use the pools. Would definitely recommend to anyone going to Ao Nang.

Nice place to base out of.

The hotel was a bit unique in that you walked UP the path into the hotel reception and DOWN the stairs to go to the restaurant and rooms. The room was well appointed and for the price I could not fault it.

The only issue was some very inconsiderate guests who arrived at 1:00 am and proceeded to bang and crash for an hour. I asked them eventually to be quiet and reported this to reception next day as they started the same stuff at 6:00 am.

Return Visit

Had another lovely relaxing few days. Low season, so quiet and thought a bit short on staff, but overall great value for money. Love the pool access room. Only problem we had was smoke coming in through the air conditioning. But that is just a lack of respect from another guest as it was a non-smoking room. Disgusting smell!

One of the bigger hotel

Though it's not exactly near the beach (walking about 20 mins) , there are many shops around to book vehicles, travel to islands, food, convenience store. However, the main area will be near Starbucks and McDonald's. This is the quieter side and nearer to the pier for trips to all the other Islands like phi phi, Hong, James Bond etc...

Both my friend and I contracted Dengue fever while staying here. While we were given repellent each day thru housekeeping the Hotel didn't give a warning of the high risk. On one of the days insectcide was sprayed around the whole hotel so I'm sure they knew the risk to the guests.

Overall a good stay

This was my first stop in Thailand. It was a good start. The staff was friendly and helpful explaining what was around. The pool is a bit small but if you get the pool side room it's kind of really cool. The breakfast was good, many foods to choose from. its a bit of a walk to the beach but in a quiet area so that was nice.

About 20 to 25mins walk to beach. Comfortable room, however thin walls, very noisy, can hear next door room occupants talking very clearly + can hear occupants on floor above pacing up and down the room. My room was facing the pool, nice view, clean room. Simple bfast buffet, however food off menu was good.

Although at the end of the road, the hotel is quiet but still within walking distance to the beach. It could be a good choice if you don't require ocean view.

Lovely location

Well appointed rooms with balconies overlooking the pools, the gardens are well maintained. Staff are incredibly helpful and go out of their way to assist. The hotel is a good 15 minute walk from Ao Nang beach and all of the restaurants which meant that the hotel was peaceful.
