The rooms are clean and comfortable. The bed was a bit too hard for my liking, but I was so tired by the time I got into it each night, I didn't really care! Really appreciated the in-room refrigerator to keep drinks and food. The pool was so refreshing during the day. The hotel is literally right around the corner, less than 2 minute walk, from the unique Ao Nang Landmark Night Market that I believe is open every night. It is about a 20 minute walk to the heart of Ao Nang beach, but there are plenty of establishments between the hotel and there!

Very basic and natural! Like being in someone's backyard. Pool was the nicest part of this hotel. Breakfast was basic. Employees don't speak much English. Clean but no soap at sink in bathroom. Toilet ran a lot as the plunger did not always seal. Difficult to climb in and out of the bathtub as the side was thick. Bed was hard in our room but others said theirs was good.

Lovely spacious, clean room & bathroom, quite close to the beach & daily night market, but in a quiet area which was good.

Was expensive to stay (with no breakfast included) but it was the weekend.

I had left my watch charger once we'd checked out. When I went back the next day, the charger was waiting in reception for me much to my relief.

We had a pleasant stay at the hotel but I would warn other travellers that apart from breakfast which we didn't eat, there are no other food or bar offerings. There are shops and restaurants nearby but a bit of an excursion when you want to relax around the pool and don't want to dress and leave the property to buy things. The cleaning staff were excellent. It was a shame that a day into arriving, a large group of men arrived and had rooms all around the pool area on different sides. They communicated by shouting at each other from different rooms around the property - not very relaxing but not the resort's fault. Unfortunately, the property is such that there's no place to hide from this.

We were a little wary about staying having read previous reviews but we must say this place deserves more than 7.6.
The rooms were big and cleaned everyday. Yes the bathroom was very dated but functional.
The grounds were swept daily and the pool was fabulous, clean, warm and a great size.
Location couldn't have been any better, round the back from the night market but not noisy. Close to shops, cafe's and restaurants.
Staff were friendly snd welcoming.
Thank you for a lovely week's stay.

We reserved four days, and left after one. Moldy ceiling by the A/C. Safe didn't work. Ants all over our toothbrushes in the morning. Very few to zero amenities and very limited staff available.

Rooms and outside areas did not look like the pictures at all. Property was in disarray and the grounds were not taken care of. Bugs and mosquitoes were terrible due to standing water behind the building. You had to walk thru a construction zone parking lot to get to the beach - they had complimentary bikes to use but they had no brakes or the handle bars were broken. This property I would not classify as a resort at all. It’s ok for those not looking to spend anytime on the property. Charged me more for mini bar items than what the menu stated.

Great location , but don’t expect too much.

The location- close to the beach and night market was simply great. The hotel was a little disappointing, with good rooms, but little else to commend it. The pool was disappointing and breakfast wasn’t really worth having. Staff were helpful, but not very friendly.

A great little hide away....

The resort hotel lies about 10 minute walk from the Au Nang beach which does give the advantage of not being loud (no traffic). If you do not wish to walk the hotel offers free transport to the town. Large swimming pool surrounded by the Bungalow style rooms..Water pressure was mostly good with constant hot water. Staff friendly and very helpful with most having a reasonably command of English. Some great authentic Thai restaurants only 10 minutes away (on the sea front). All in all a great place to stay away from the crowds.

Brilliant value hotel with great pool.

Great value for money. Could not beliiiiiieve how empty this hotel was- me and my boyfriend had huge very clean pool all to ourselves, and the bartender served us beers in the pool! The bedroom was absolutely massive and right next to the pool. We rented motorbikes through the reception because the hotel is a little out the way- not close to any decent restaurants or bars or anything. I would stay here again for sure. Best hotel we've stayed in on our trip in terms of value for money.

Silent & comfortable hotel

We drive to Krabi and stay 2 nights in this hotel with my family. The room was big & clean. Wash room also very big & clean. 1st day morning, we walk around & found wasn't much people stay here, is quite & silent... we cant go to beach because whole day was raining and we only stay at room. 2nd day earlier morning is sunny day, we went swimming & water is warm, we feel very comfortable & relax but unfortunately just around 30min raining again. Cafe food is suitable to all of us & receptionist is also helpful & introduce us the area food & evening market was around the area but because of the rain, we cant go anywhere.

We were disappointed as we would not class this as a Resort!! We had come from a Resort in Koh Lanta and there was no comparison. Hard to communicate with staff. Power and air conditioning went off at times and had to get staff to fix problem. One day after being out and getting soaking wet no water in shower or toilet. Not impressed. Looks better on internet than what it is.

Nice, quiet place not very far from the Ao Nang beach. The staff I interacted with knew good English which is not very common in Thailand. The family suite was nice but had only 1 bathroom for 4 people.

Quiet Stay in Close Proximity to Hustling Ao Nang!

A nice resort located close to Ao Nang & Nopparatharat Beaches. The room was quite nice and opened out on to the pool - all the rooms surround the pool. The staff was very nice to help us out with renting a bike, giving us a snackbox at 4am, etc. Transport is readily available in front of the resort till 8-9 pm, in case you do not have your own transportation, as it is in a quiet area. The breakfast was nice and wholesome - again, not too many options for vegetarians. A stay worth it!!

This is perfect place for you if you like insect in your room, spoiled kids runing, jumping and screaming around, and hotel stuff which doesnt speak english at all.
In our room we had problem with doors. They just didnt fit to wall so there were holes around them so big that i could put my finger in it. So for mosquitos and other insect, no problem at all to get in. We complained and the hotel manager said that we can get another room next day, and that now they can give us some insect spray and some bed sheets so we can cover the doors. They didnt give us anything.
Also towels and bed sheets we had were dirty... We had lizzards and cocroaches in our next room. Swimming pool is unusable cause during our stay it was occupied by cca 10 small kids , which were jumping and screaming around.
We are really not picky, but it was disaster. The worst hotel experiance during our 3 weeks thailand holiday

Little quiet hotel away from all the noise

Small little hotel, with all rooms having close access to the pool. The hotel is quite far away from Ao Nang beach if you do not want the noise, and have a good night sleep. There are shuttle bus available to take you to the beach area daily, except for Friday. Tuk Tuk will only cost you about 60 baht. If you are game enough to walk, it is about 20-30 minutes, which I had tried with my wife. Personally this not the best time for walking, as the temperature in Krabi is crazy hot. This coming from a guy that live in Sunny Singapore all his life. Breakfast is simple, and check in was swift. Overall, had a great experience there. Other than the location, there is nothing much to complaint about.

Nice and homely hotel

It was very pleasant 3-night stay. It is a great place to "rejuvenate" as it is a peaceful place away from the hustle-and-bustle of the town and yet can easily accessible. I like the garden hotel style where you have a pool right outside your door surrounded by greens. The hotel offers simple breakfast that is more than sufficient. The staff is friendly. I'd definitely stay at Aquamarine again.

don't get close to it

The whole place looks like long time forgotten by his owners. The sheets are torn out and dirty. The towels seem never to be replaced since the hotel opening, having now strange yellowish-black color and look like have been picked up from a garbage can of some other hotel. The stained pool towels make room towels look like a new ones. The staff is lazy, 2 days in a row "forgetting" to clean up the room. The breakfast is basic and somehow also looks like leftovers from some other more successful hotel. In conclusion: never again. P.S. Some of the soft drinks in the minibar are over their expiration date.

A good Place to stay but no halal food

overall the hotel was a good place to stay. the room was so big and clean that doubt it was a 3 stars hotel. my stay there was very pleasant, the only problem I encounter here was the breakfast... although I told them in advance from my booking.. I'm a muslim n I want a halal food.. so sad the hotel cannot provide halal food.. so we only eat fruits n bread... its very disappointing.. the reason i choose this hotel one of them is breakfast provided. the hotel was a good place to stay if u seek some privacy as it's located away from the busyness of Ao nang town. Only some of the staff can speak English so it a bit difficult to communicate and some of the didn't know how to smile i guest. not like want i heard the Krabi people are friendly n very helpful. maybe the language is the problem here.

A bit away from the action, but quiet

Overall we really enjoyed our stay at Krabi Aquamarine Resort. The room was really big, with one double and one single bed (one bedroom suite), table with 3 chairs, desk and chair, a lounge chair, small fridge, microwave, kettle and a few dishes if needed. The bathroom had tub and shower (as one unit), sink and toilet. The bathroom could use some updating, but all in all okay. We had a problem with water on the floor (seemingly leaking from the air conditioner) and a guy was there in 5 minutes after informing the front desk. The pool was used sparingly by guests, so no problems with getting a chair and having a bit of a swim. They had a shuttle into town about 5 or 6 times a day. There were massage ladies on staff, which we took advantage of. They also had a pool bar. Breakfast was basic but good. They just needed a bigger cover for the pastries as birds freely flew in to nibble at the edges. We were more than happy with our stay there.

Rooms quite OK, clean and new however we stayed there for 4 nights and didn't have the linen changed even once. Breakfast was also a dissapointment, food didn't seem of particularly high standard execpt the eggs that were made on the spot. Milk and juices were not kept in ice, so were "warm". Also a bit away from the main town Ao Nang so if you are after convenience to town better find something closer to the town, this is about 5 mins by tuk tuk. For the budget conscious it's more than adequate, for those who expect high quality, better to stay somewhere else.

God beliggenhed ift. byen. Pænt stort værelse. Upraktisk at rengøringen hver dag først nåede vores værelse sidst på eftermiddagen, så man nåede at komme hjem fra udflugt og dermed måtte springe rengøring over fordi man ønskede at bruge værelset til afslapning, bad etc. Poolen var skøn, selve haven trængte til pænere beplantning for at været rigtig hyggelig.

We did not like this place at all. Out of the 4 days we stayed, our room was cleaned only once. The people cleaning appeared to be children under 16, and they took an absurd amount of time per room—one day we left at 6am and returned at 6pm, and our room still hadn’t been cleaned. Everything looks very old except for the pool. The receptionist was extremely unpleasant when we asked about the room cleaning—dragging their feet and making no effort to respond. The beds were rock hard, like sleeping on bricks. One day I was given a towel in terrible condition, as if it had been eaten by insects.

This hotel is awful. Calling it a “resort” is a huge stretch. The only positive is that it’s very close to the night market. Other than that, the hotel is terrible and I would not recommend staying here at all.

Le standing de cet hôtel est à la hauteur d’un mauvais motel. Ne vaut absolument pas le prix payé. Les chambres sont correctes mais la salle de bain absolument pas au niveau. Heureusement c’est propre. Le service n’est pas au niveau non plus. Le ménage se fait vers 17h30-18h, à l’heure où on souhaite rejoindre notre chambre. Aucune serviette de piscine fournie.

Kom till hotellet väldigt sent, så vi sov bara där och drog vidare tidigt morgonen därpå. Men vår ytterdörr gick inte igen ordentligt och kunde inte låsas. Kändes sådär, såklart. Vi åt ingen frukost så den kan jag inte kommentera. Hotellet ligger väldigt nära restauranger och en marknad öppen varje kväll.

Idéal pour une nuit en transit.

Très bien pour une nuit de transit en vue d’un voyage dans les îles.
Staff inexistant, petit déjeuner très très moyen, et état général de l’hôtel, très moyen, piscine, très agréable, chambre rénovée au confort rudimentaire.

ロケーションはよい。ビーチまで数分で歩ける。セブンイレブンも近い。夜はナイトマーケットの騒音が12時くらいまで聞こえるが、室内では気にならない。

室内は清潔で綺麗。水回りが古い印象。洗面台のシンク排水の蓋が壊れていた。セキュリティボックスも機能しなかったが、フロントに伝えたらボックスごと交換してくれた。スタッフは皆、親切だった。

プールはいつでも入れるし、よく手入れがされている。プールバーはやっていなかった。

総評としては、必要にして十分なホテルと言える。良い滞在と良い思い出を、ありがとう。
