Good accommodation with all you need

Nice hotel with all the amenities for a comfortable stay. Room and bathroom were a little dated but all clean and tidy. Balcony made for great views and ability to have door and windows open at all times, which is good as there is no air con (it's not too hot there anyway). Location isn't perfect unless you're happy to walk but it's about a 15 min walk to the Golden Hills Night Markets, then a further 10mins to shops. There is a restaurant at hotel, but also a Steam Boat Restaurant next door (would recommend). Transport is difficult here as Grab App is not popular, but taxis can be booked at front desk.

Overall great stay, minus other smoking guests

Located not far from attractions and food, but still managed to be peaceful and quiet. Hot water pressure was great, breakfast was alright, no complaints, bed linens were comfortable, both firm and soft pillows were offered in room as well.

Only issue I had was cigarette smoke coming from another guest’s window from a floor below. Room windows are not fully sealed, hence was breathing secondhand smoke.

Location - Out of the centre of Tanah Rata, so it's quiet. Tourist sites are spread far and wide, so you need transport anyway.

Service - efficient and friendly

Accommodation - very comfortable, large bed, table and chair, small balcony. The music playing in the corridors is weird... we could hear it from inside our room.

Eating - Breakfast, large selection of hot and cold. Tea and coffee in room

Wi-fi - poor reception, timed out regularly, reverted to using phone as hotspot.

Summary - recommended as a base in Cameron Highlands

I don’t have a serious complain on this hotel at all but don’t desire to stay here again by just thinking I would be able to stay similar hotel with cheaper price or better hotel with a little bit higher price.

Breakfast is not bad but just normal (Asian, Indian breakfast)
The location is not so good. Definitely, need a car to go anywhere or do hiking.

The decor is a bit dated and the cleaning could be more thorough... but the staff was so helpful and friendly, it really made a difference. The buffet breakfast was great with a lot of vegetarian options. We had dinner at the restaurant twice and they accommodated our dietary requirement very well.
We will definitely be back.

Comfortable hotel with great, helpful staff. The twin room came with queen beds, which was nice, and a great balcony.
Special mention to Mohan, the Resident Manager, who was helpful, friendly, attentive, and responsive to all and any enquiries.

Put a question to the receiptionist but she is not willing to answer it . Just out an excuses the photo is misleading and bot their responsibility . Room bed is having bad smell . Toilet floor is wet and toilet bowl is dirty . Suppose check in at 3pm .. but delay for 1 hour to me .

Beyond Expectation

It was very hard to find a proper hotel after reading reviews from hotels in cameron. We choose this hotel because it has less negative review. It was indeed a really good and comfortable hotel.

The breakfast was not bad as what people sad. They have variety of breakfast menu and the buffet was pleasant.

We enjoy our stay here. My wife was especially delighted to see that the hotel is decorated with fresh flowers everywhere.

They have enough car park and easy to access. You can park your car in front of the hotel. No vallet parking needed and its FREE!

The noise from the main road wasnt too loud. Maybe because it wasnt school holiday. Lucky for us we slept through the night comfortably.

The location of the hotel is very ideal as it is very near to all the main spots. Like strawberry farm, cactus valley & night market. We plan to repeat our stay at this hotel next time! Kudos!

Nice enough place to stay

This is an adequate hotel to stay in for a couple of nights. A little bit out of town, so a bit quieter (but the road outside is always busy), and there is lots of parking. The rooms need a little bit of modernisation, and the restaurant was a little lacking in options. Breakfast was ok.

Love the decorations, simple but beautiful. Staff were great, one of the restaurant staff was so polite. Decent distance to Brinchang and Tanah Rata. The only thing is the menu itself which i think less than expected, the lemon chicken taste a bit weird..but you can get more options nearby Pasar Malam or town.
I will be come back again..the kids love the comfy beds and tub.
Worth the money to stay.

Good base for family with 2 young children and aged parents accompanying us. Connecting rooms (shared bathroom) v convenient and ideal.

Excellent breakfast spread (Western & Malaysian) with extensive options for in-house dining in the evening if you don't want to head out. On our last night, we enjoyed the steamboat (min 2 pax, MYR32pp) which was very enjoyable.

Booked the quad room. Bed is hard and not clean.
Having back ache after a night sleep. And feels itchy.
Pillows smells. Bath towels are worn out. No face towel provider. Tolietries are limited. And poor quality. No toothbrush and shower cap and continue bud.
Room comes with two dirty stain sofa.
Only provide two pairs of poor quality paper slippers. (Though we booked quad room for 4pax)
Many Electrical points are faulty unable to use.
Location not so good. Takes more than half hour drive to Brinchang area. Not much food choices nearby this hotel.
Suggest to book room not facing the main road if really choose this hotel.

The hotel is pretty one, location is ok. We found there are many better options and views over there. We booked the deluxe room but the view was bad. So we paid more for upgraded to family room which has better view and more spacious. The staffs are kind of helpful. We checked in on Saturday and checked out on Monday. I found out many people checked out after weekend , then the price was dropped a lot. However we did get cheaper price on our second night.

Nice hotel on higher grounds with quiet surroundin

The hotel is generally pleasant and comfortable. We were just a little upset that there weren't toothbrush and toothpaste provided and also, the stirrer was used and not replaced. It could be the staffs oversight for the stirrer and we did receive new stirrer when we requested for housekeeping. Really peaceful and quiet environment, good for relaxation.

Hotel located in front main road between Berinchang & Tanah Rata with spacious parking & with not crowded surrounding area.
But advisable do not come on public holiday that fall on school holiday if not u will face extra ~1-1.5 hours jam on the road.

I came to cameron highland with my husband.. just celebrated our anniversary and i found the comfortable hotel which is Hotel the la Fern's n it has a good viewing from far, my husband also like this hotel..the food, service, the viewed is the best n nice..n i wish i can stay again in that hotel..
