Air conditioning did not work

The location is central and very close to the beach. The breakfast spread was quite pleasant and had variety. However the ac absolutely did not work in the room. We visited during a heatwave, the air con would stop working at night on its own or the thermostat would not allow us to change the temperature. We literally were suffocated and suffered , unable to sleep all 4 nights which really impacted our over all experience

The staff, specifically Brian, were incredibly helpful and kind. They provided great recommendations on sites to see and places to eat. Our room was a good size, and the bed and pillows were very comfortable. There wasn’t a single night in our 7 night stay when we didn’t sleep well. We had a room that faced the street, which could get loud when the sliding glass door was open, but my wife and I easily adjusted to the city sounds. The hotel is in a great location that is near great restaurants, a casino, and the beach. While the area has some graffiti, it is very clean. We witnessed many store owners mopping and sweeping the sidewalk near their business. We felt very safe walking around in the late evenings. Something to note, the room did not have a coffee machine or tea, but there is a bakery across the street that offers both.

We enjoyed our stay so much that we plan to stay there again.

It’s a youth hostel, not a 4 stars hotel.

More of a youth hostel than on hotel! Avoid if you are looking to actually sleep and relax. The walls of the rooms are paper thin, at night we would be woken constantly by youngest running around the corridors, playing around and making mess.
The hotel requires a deposit for everything, including a €10 deposit for a single towel to use at the pool, absolutely ridiculous! Another deposit to use the room safe is required, plus it costs €5 a day. Since when someone needs to pay to protect their belongings in an hotel room?? Having read other reviews that stated stuff was stolen, we decided to carry all our valuables with us at all time.
Rooms were not properly cleaned daily, they would only change the towels and make the beds, no hoovering the floors or actually cleaning the bathroom.
We called ahead to inform the staff that we were vegetarians, having selected the all inclusive package we planned to eat at the restaurant for each meal, yet on our first dinner there was absolutely nothing for us to eat, every single food option was either with fish or meat in it, staff were quite ignorant to what a vegetarian is and could not tell us what contained meat/fish and what didn’t, after we complained the following days we found enough choices for us, there is nothing to say about the quality of the food other than it was very delicious, the only positive thing about our stay.
However, the labelling of the food needs improvement, as allergens were not clearly stated anywhere.

I had a nice time at this hotel, stayed only for a weekend for my mum's 60th but it was lovely. The area it's in is quite residential so be prepared for a little noise in the evenings.

The breakfast is absolutely worth adding to the room if debating it. Cooked breakfast, cereals, yogurts, pastries, fresh fruit, cured meats and cheese, and pancakes are included and it was very filling.

The pool facilities were nice, water is freezing but needed with the hot weather. Plenty of sun loungers and the outside where the pool and jacuzzi are located is a lovely sun trap.

If you arrive early, you can pre check-in and store any baggage in a locked room which means you can go exploring.

There's a nice little bar opposite the entrance and it's only a 10-15min walk to the beach.

Desk staff also speak English, French and Spanish so no communication issues.

Print your room confirmation in advance as they ask for it at the desk and remember you have to pay tourist tax when checking in as well.

you value sleep and functionality you should look elsewhere. The walls are so thin you can hear people in the next room perfectly. The doors are poorly designed and slam loudly upon closing which you hear at all hours of the day and night. Should you manage to sleep the housekeeper will be sure to wake you up. The housekeeper slams each and every door for almost an hour every morning. I complained to management about the house keeper multiple times during my week stay but management was unable to resolve its staff issue. The lack of functionality seem minor by comparison:
The bathroom sink leaks water all of the counter soaking any items you may have left there; there isn’t a container to hold the hand soap ensuring more mess of the counter; the hotel asks you to conserve water yet doesn’t provide space to dry the towels thereby making it necessary to get new ones with every shower; my sheets had chips in them left over from the previous guest; in the triple room there isn’t space for luggage for three people and the only mirror is in the bathroom making it difficult to get ready. By far one of the worst hotels ever . . . a refund is definitely in order.

Wonderful Hotel.

Excellent Hotel with friendly and helpful staff. Spacious room and top quality food that was constantly being replenished. Good location only a short but pleasant walk from the beach and centre of the old town.
My second time staying at the ALEGRIA Plaza de París Hotel this year. Loved it so much the first time, I went back with a different group of friends to share the experience. Hopefully, I will have the opportunity to return again in the future.

Great hotel in a good location

I stayed here recently with 6 friends to celebrate a 40th. The rooms were as I would expect and were very clean. I used the gym once but only for a run on the treadmill, but the gym had most things in it I'd normally use. The main pool area has a reasonably sized pool and an adults only area terrace which I only went up too once. I'd say this hotel is definitely geared towards adults or families with older children as there are not much facilities for younger children.
I was all inclusive and have been all inclusive at other hotels, so I could rate this against places I stayed previously. I can honestly say this was the best with regards to drink selection, cost of premium drinks with all inclusive discount, and the food was absolutely perfect. It is the one thing that stood out about the Alegria Plaza and all 7 of our party actually commented on how good the food was. Quality, choice and service were by far the best at any all inclusive hotel I've been to. Well done Alegria Plaza!!

only negatives were no umbrellas and the upstairs 'adults only' Jacuzzi area had kids.... someone had a baby in there! plus the outside areas could do with a nightly clean - but it wasn't very bad.

We stayed at the Alegria plaza paris for a short break mid week. We thought the all inclusive was excellent value and loved the hotel. The food was fantastic with plenty of choice at all meal times. The hotel staff were very attentive and facilities were good..

This centrally located hotel is within 10 minutes walking distance to a main bus terminal, nightlife and the beach. It is located down a side street so it wasn't as easy to find as first anticipated. However, when we arrived we were greeted by very friendly reception staff who showed us to our room. We had to pay four euros per day to rent a lock for our room safe plus an additional ten euros as a deposit. We also paid city tax for the duration of our stay which was roughly twenty euros for four nights. Our room was adequate but the bathroom wasn't
as clean as it could have been, particularly the bath. Also, the air conditioning didn't work and the temperature in our room on an evening was unbearable; we had to leave the patio doors open to get to sleep.

We stayed for 5 nights. The pool and jacuzzi were great. The neighbourhood is very appealing, small narrow streets with a parisien feel. 10 minute walk to the beach. Breakfast was good.
The room was very basic but it was adequate. There are no tea and coffee making facilities and no water in the room.
The neighbouring hotel was full of partying teenagers but the didn't disturb our stay. We would stay again

Rooms were very clean. Not the biggest but good enough for the price. Amazing pool deck with lots of space to tan and swim. Location is only a 5 minute walk from the main beach with lots of littles cafes all around the property. For the price, this hotel was an amazing deal.

Great hotel for a relaxed break

Lovely hotel that offered a peaceful getaway. Room was comfortable if not a bit basic, food was fantastic and in the restaurant and can't understand those who have complained about it, we found plenty of options every evening. Only downside would be the lack of atmosphere of an evening, but plenty of local bars in close proximity!

Excellent value hotel with great service from hotel staff. Pool area is enclosed and overall the hotel was very clean. Free hotel wifi, cheap food and drinks. Superb value for money (I stayed half board) and 5 minute walk to town centre, bus station and beach from the hotel. Hotel room was very clean, chamber staff were very efficient and reception, bar and waiting staff were really helpful and professional. Buffet breakfast was good although hot food could possible have been replenished more often to keep it fresh; evening buffet was decent and represented good value for money. Highly recommended!

L'hotel non corrisponde certamente ad un quattro stelle, ma è da considerarsi un discreto tre stelle. Gli aspetti negativi sono la cucina, che lascia molto a desiderare per qualità e varietà ( per es.carne di maiale tutte le sere); la pulizia della camera piuttosto superficiale, (abbiamo trovato uno scarafaggio in bagno); nessun canale televisivo italiano, mentre c'erano quelli francesi, tedeschi, russi... La posizione dell' hotel è perfetta.

Hôtel clairement surcoté. À part l’emplacement, rien ne justifie le prix : chambres vieillottes, propreté limite (heureusement que le linge de lit et les serviettes étaient propres), insonorisation inexistante — on entend tout, toute la nuit. C’est plus une auberge pour fêtards qu’un vrai hôtel. Je plains sincèrement les femmes de ménage, il faut un sacré courage pour nettoyer derrière certains clients dans ces conditions. Bref, une grosse déception.

L’hôtel est quand même super bien placé au niveau de l’accessibilité au bout qui est au restaurant les agents d’accueil sont formidables il se débrouille plutôt pas mal dans toutes les langues et ça c’est juste à applaudir il y a de l’ambiance dans l’hôtel. Maintenant. Effectivement les chambres sont un petit peu vieillotte en longtemps. Les voisins à côté le confort des lits n’y est pas la propreté malheureusement des chambres est à revoir le petit déjeuner si possible à diversifier

En parte escogi este hotel, por el Spa.
Y al llegar allí, la sorpresa es que no entra como actividad del Hotel. Nos comentan que se ha de pagar 18€ por persona!!.

A parte, en la zona que está, no es muy agraciada.

Algo positivo es el personal magnífico.
Y el Buffet muy correcto.

Aucune possibilité de stationnement au alentours de l’hôtel , sur le site réservation c’était marqué parking disponible, mauvaise surprise, en arrivant juste avant minuit , on arrivait même pas trouver un emplacement pour s’enregistrer, à part le parking de casino à 25 environ la nuit ,
L’hôtel es parfait mais l’emplacement est moyen .

Nous avons choisi cet hôtel où nous avions déjà séjourné plusieurs fois et nous ne somme jamais déçu.
Le personnel est très accueillant, les repas sont plus que corrects et les chambres très confortable.
De plus cette fois-ci nous avons été surclassé.
Seul bémol, les accès aux spa sont payants.

Le personnel est très sympathique, ils parlent un peu le français. La nourriture est variée, l’emplacement proche de la plage et des transports en commun. En revanche, l’environnement est catastrophique, mais tout Lloret Del Mar est comme ça ! La ville est vraiment très sale ! Je n’y retournerai plus ! C’est un endroit où les jeunes viennent pour s’alcooliser et aller en boîte de nuit ! Si vous jeune, très jeune ( 16-20 ans) pourquoi pas!

Zu wenig Liegen am Pool. Essen schmeckt gut.

Mischung zwischen Familien und Jugendlichen. Jedoch kein konkretes Partyhotel für junge Leute. Grundsätzlich ein solides Hotel wo es sich entspannt für ein paar Tage aushalten lässt.

séjour de 4 jours en demi pension dans un hôtel très bien situé, très propre, calme et bien insonorisé. Petits déjeuners et repas en self très variés et bons. Personnel à l'accueil très professionnel et à l'écoute. Très bien, hôtel confortable et propre, personnel efficace et souriant.
Seul point faible, le parking de l'hôtel étant complet, on nous a dirigés vers le parking du Casino ou la facture a été de 125 euros pour 5 jours... Pas cool !

Le premier a été très dur avec une chambre a 30 degrés, même la nuit, sans climatisation. Par contre, le lendemain, après avoir soulever le problème, nous avez été surclassé en chambre supérieure avec Clim. Qui marche, et 1 heure spa offert. Dure 1ier nuit mais commercial.

L'hotel est pas mal en général, mais ne mérite pas ses 4 étoiles.
Le plafond de la salle de bain est en mauvais état, idem celui de la chambre (la peinture fissurée avec des morceaux prêt a vous tomber dessus). Des poils dans la baignoire et sur les toilettes, des cheveux sur le plan de travail de la salle de bain et du sable qui est du petit gravier au sol... le personnel est agréable, la literie est bien. Mais ne comptez pas sur une nuit calme en famille, les principaux clients sonts des jeunes qui ne respectent rien.

Séjour agréable - Chambre propre - Accueil de la réception parfait.
Nous avions pris la formule demi-pension le seul bémol serait de prévenir que les boissons ne sont pas incluses au buffet des dîners.
Le parking très exigu de l'hôtel et difficile d'accès - sinon rien à redire.

Situation géographique idéale. La chambre etait confortable. La restauration est de qualité moyenne mais il y a du choix. Le parking est étroit, ça peut être compliqué pour de grandes voitures.

Como siempre, creo que ésta es la sexta vez que nos alojamos, el hotel ha cumplido nuestras expectativas. Es una elección segura. Por la amabilidad de l@s trabajador@s, por la piscina, el jacuzzi, el buffet, la limpieza. Es decir, todo en general.
Si tuviera que poner un pequeño aspecto negativo, repito pequeño, ésta vez nos ha tocado una cama algo dura para nuestro gusto.

Buffet chaque jour varié, piscine un peu petite, point négatif les gens mettent les serviettes sur transat dès le matin et bloquent tout même si ils ne sont pas présents .....

Personnels agréables un excellent séjours juste un peu du bruit à 5 heure du matin les gens qui de boite de nuit la chambre pas bien isolée (insonorisé) et la chambre demande à être un peux de rafraîchissement si non le reste assez correct . C’est La deuxième année que on séjourne dans cette hôtel.
